Good supply of various items, and my niece ran in to get those scrunchy socks the kids are wearing now outside their jeans like people did in the 80s and early 90s. I guess its true never throw your clothes away history or fashion repeats itself.

Convenient beauty supply and it stays current w the latest hair trends. The ladies who work here are very helpful especially Miss DD.Also the lady who owns the store is OK she met me exchange an item I purchased and most hair stores won’t let you do that. I’m here all the time !

I wanted some stuff from the locked case and was still looking but they immediately close it and lock it like im going to steal their things ... that was super annoying but the products are cool. Probably wont be back. I rather spend with someone who doesnt treat me like a suspect. Period.

This store has everything you need. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the cashier lady talks to much. She will have 3 to 4 people in line and will still carry a conversation with someone else the only time she pay attention is when shes done talking thats when she pays attention to the line its so disrespectful I dont want to have to stand there and listen to you talk Im trying to go home...

Took my friend here to buy a wig today. She has cancer and lost all of her hair. She has never worn a wig before. The lady owner Mrs Kim treated my friend which such kindness and heartfelt concern. I watched both women cry over hair that was lost and cry over the strength needed to overcome what the future would bring. Yes i cried too. The compassion that was given to my friend by this stranger we had just met was beautiful beyond words. Thank you!!!

This location is like any other Uptown, with one issue. The other shops in the strip are pretty popular, so there might not always be parking available.For those who have never been, Uptown Beauty Supply provides a large selection of haircare and makeup aimed primarily at those of African descent, although you can find plenty of products for hair in general.

They discriminate against black people. I was followed by both mother and son but when another race entered they stayed on me. I only wanted black hair dye which they didnt have.

I visited here couple times, there have many different types of hairs and wigs with great quality. Its very clean, this is my one of the top beauty supply I go there. I did not this place exist until couple months ago. I only go to Uptown Beauty supply. but i did not know they have another location near my house.

Establishment and parking lot is clean, items do not sit on the shelves long (no dusty lids), great customer service and selection.

They have everything I need. And I love the employees!! They always speak and are inconspicuously available to assist customers. Once, I left my phone at the store. I called them and they held on to it, for me, until I was able to get back to the store. Good people .

This place is ok. I would have given a perfect eating but I had 2 issues. the employees there are very unhelpful, and the security person there didnt do anything but stare me down when I was there. Ad you can tell the other workers were judging why 2 men were in a beauty supply store...

Just glad theres a beauty supply close to my place other than the one on greens rd which is to crowded. This one is new and spacious. Same people over it from the ones in aldine bender. So it was nice to walk in and see a familiar face. Reasonable prices and good hair and items inside.

I found everything that I needed... However I asked a young lady that was working there for a suggestion for a product for a little girl and she wasnt any help at all.

My experience there, was pretty good. I guess it just felt good to not have anyone following me around, thinking I was trying to steal something. They had exactly what I was looking for, which is usually NOT the case at other beauty supply stores.

This is a new store. I went there the first week it open. And the customer service is wonderful and down to earth. Havent been many places since my car is broken. The are really reasonable for the price of hair today and the girl with the flashy lashey amd cute make up will take her time to assist you without rushing. If she has to help someone she want forget you..the cashier make sure you smile when you leave.
