I often find makeup stores very intimidating. However, my experience in this store was quite pleasant. I only went to find out what shade color I am in a certain brand. The rep who assisted me (Shenelle, I believe is her name) was patient and kind with me. She tried multiple shades until we found the perfect one. I will definitely return here again.

I’m not one to leave reviews however I went to this Sephora needing a new concealer, I asked a young lady named Eboni? for help however she was very unprofessional. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions about which one is best. Not sure how asking for help with make up is an issue? Definitely won’t be returning here!! If you don’t like your job get another one.

Has everything a typical Sephora does but the staff is especially unhelpful. They will not get to you in a timely manner (hopefully not a skin color issue). And don’t expect them to understand makeup shades. Shop independently and you’ll be fine.

In love with this Sephora location! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. My granddaughter (who is 17) and I were in your store on May 12, 2021, and had the pleasure of having Phyllis assist her with wearing makeup. Phyllis was extremely knowledgeable in what and what would not work for her skin type. It was so refreshing working with a person who talked to her and not at her. She advised her and shared her genuine thoughts about lashes, eyebrow wax, concealer, etc. Bravo to you for such an exemplary person working for your company.

I have spent thousands of dollars at Sephora on holidays for gifts etc.they have lost my business forever and how dare you delete my comment.I went shopping with a friend of mine. The staff was un attentive .The manager seemed like was was on a break and was gossiping about an employee.The store looked ok however the staff was too relaxed and not about the client.I asked for assistance and it was nowhere to be found. The store was not packed. For such a high end store they have low end poor customer service.

I visited here last week and this Sephora is clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. They helped me with shade matching and used clean techniques.The only reason I took off a star is because you have to pay for parking when you come here.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. I feel bad I cant remember the sweet girls name who helped me but she was great. I went in looking to try ilia multi stick and mascara but they only carried the concealer and the mascara. I have made the switch to clean cleansing products and rms foundation but really needed a good mascara and I thought the lip, cheek and eye multi stick would be great. The employee showed me a brand called bite that had a lip and cheek stick which I ended up getting. I was also about to buy the full size ilia mascara when I came across a clean beauty trial kit! Ill include a pic but it was a great deal with 7 products including a mini of the ilia mascara 🤗 Im so glad more places are carrying clean beauty products now! Id definitely go back to this location in the future and hopefully they will start to carry more ilia and rms beauty products soon.

This place is in the University village, and they give great service. I was able to come in get matched for my foundation and pay within 7 minutes.Not that anyone was rushing me, these guys were happy to allow me to shop or assist me. The world was mine.Love it here

I really like the store. It has a variety of products you will not find in most other locations besides the galleria. It also has considerably less for traffic. The associates should get better at showing more interest in assisting their customers. Other than that, this is a new favorite spot

Ugggh I LOVE Sephora in Rice Village!!! Even during a pandemic their gorgeous beauty experts make me feel like Im shopping with one of my besties. The conversation is always good and down to earth and the skincare and makeup suggestions ON POINT!! Not exaggerating when I say this is likely the best Sephora in Houston. They always got time for you, no matter how crowded and OMG their phone service is just as good... now thats hard to find.

I walking in to Sephora I was not expecting my guardian beauty angel to appear in Amber she might have possibly been my fairy godmother. She told me about all these amazing products that would make my skin more princess like rather then pumpkin. I must say this Cinderella will be attending the balls at night and with fingers crossed find my prince charming and if not I will have flawless skin. I am not a makeup person by any means, but I needed a new foundation/powder and was overwhelmed. But the sales associate, Jennifer, was amazing and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to sample different brands and colors on my face. Explained everything very well and made sure I was happy with the product I was buying. I went in the other day looking for a moisturizing eye cream to address some dry, red patches on my eye. Instead of steering me towards an expensive cream (which I would have readily purchased), she suggested I use cortisone cream to address the dermatitis first. She did provide me with a sample of a cream to try after the rash goes away. This type of genuine customer care is so rare these days. I followed her advice and my eye is looking better! I will be back soon for some more amazing customer care.

I had a mini facial service with Erin, which I suggest that everyone who cant find a good face regiment. Erin was the most informative rep that I have met in all of my skin care experiences. Mary was another amazing representative.. Most beauty technicians dont listen to what my personal preference is on how I do my make up & she was so responsive and searched multiple products until I fell in love with one brand. Hands down 5 stars across the board with the staff. I hope the company takes the time to read this review and doesnt let their amazing costumer service and product knowledge go unrecognized.

I was tagging along with a friend, so there were no plans to purchase anything. Of course, if people start asking questions about issues you forgot you had...well you start shopping.The staff is attentive and aware. I noticed the checkout line was backing up, and two other sales reps hopped on to get the line down. During my checkout I forgot I joined their customer program years ago. It was nice to get a birthday gift I wasnt expecting. I spent over $100, which isnt hard to do at Sephora. If youre want top notch beauty advice, make a visit.

All the workers do is gather in groups and talk they aren’t helping people or re-stocking but get mad if you look inside the drawers for a product. They have like 30 employees there for no reason because EVERYONE is just in the way gossiping. Everytime I go there there’s no doubt that there will be groups talking & standing in the way.

The staff there is very unhelpful and has the worst customer service. I’ve gone there on several occasions and I’ve received the same type of service each time. My husband has even been there to buy me items and he’s said the same thing. I’ve also noticed that they pick and choose who they want to help. If you ask a question, you’ll get a sharp answer and then they’ll walk away. I’ve seen them huddle together to chat amongst themselves and completely ignore customers. I’ve recently left the store and ordered the products online because of the poor service and lack of assistance. I’ll take my money to the Sephora in the Galleria instead. The Galleria is a busy location but I’ve never had a bad experience there.

Great customer service. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I was in search of a new foundation. The girl (i believe her name was Ceceily?) was super nice and informative, she made sure to ask about my skin type and helped me pick out the perfect foundation and even recommended a few application tips. I felt as if it was like pulling teeth to get noticed or helped. Ebony was the only Sephora employee that saw me looking around needing help and directed me to brushes- all other employees I pretty much had to walk up to for minimal assistance. One employee approached me and helped me find a previous color foundation I purchased and another employee I asked about highlighter and she directed me. The only time I was actually PURSUED was by a skincare brand representative and by what I believe to be the DIC at the time when I came back in the store after my purchase to find a vegan and cruelty free liquid eyeliner that I forgot in my initial purchase and they thought I was stealing. I would rather drive farther to have my presence and money appreciated at Willowbrook Park than to be ignored and treated in this manner at Village Arcade. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened here and needless to say, I won’t be back.

I just left this store purchasing eyelashes for a trip to Vegas this weekend. I was assured the glue worked great and would not come unglued. I get to my car and look one side is already loose. I come back in the store she re-glued. by the time I got to my office 5 minutes away the other eye lash was coming off. I usually do all my shopping for things like this at Ulta and I see now why I will continue to go there! There customer service puts yours to shame.....

I am a VIB and typically shop at the memorial city location and online.Snobby employees. I really do not understand. I came in straight from my appointment at MD Anderson, looking exhausted Im sure. But refusing to help me? Thats impressive.I came in to this location for the first time. Five employees were walking around. I asked for help with picking new makeup and having someone try the makeup on me. They told me they did not have enough staff to do that today, and that I would have to make an appointment online. Ive never been treated like that at a sephora. Im very disappointed in this locations customer service.

I’m so disappointed in this Sephora location. I went in to find a foundation and all of the sales associates/employees were just standing around. When I finally found someone to help me she literally left me in the middle of finding a foundation to go to lunch ! I wound up trying to find one on my own until I got so frustrated and asked for help again. There was a gentleman that was able to help me. I needed a concealer and primer, but after that experience I bought the foundation and left ! How sad. With all the people working in this store you would think someone could take a few minutes to actually provide customer service instead of chatting with each other ! So bad Sephora !

Worst service ever. All of the staff is unfriendly and snobby. Several people on the floor grouped together, talking among each other and not paying attention to the floor. We had to flag staff down several times to even receive help. It wasn’t even busy.When we needed help to find a brow color, it felt like we were interrupting conversation. Instead of offering to swatch a color, demo, upsell, or ANYTHING, she just showed us the eyebrow color in the pot. It felt like pulling and arm and leg to ask to swatch for us. Never going here again and live WALKING DISTANCE to this store!

The staff is just not helpful. They just stand and look at you to make sure you are not going to take their displays or something. It just seems they are not knowledgeable with their products, and very poor customer service. It seems as if you are not walking in the with high named brand purse or looks you wont be helped. I will just have to drive to The Woodlands or Galleria the staff there actually cares, and have patience with their customers.

After calling them close to dozen of times to find out if they had some items that I was searching for in stock they answer and gave me a price. The same day a little bit later I went to pick it up just to find out they had lie and both items I went to pick were actually 15% higher than the original price. Idk much about running a business but this people need to have a talk with their staff and tell them not to lie about prices.

Im (embarrassingly) VIB rouge and a play subscriber. I love Sephora more than I should. That being said, I was so dissatisfied with the service in this location. There was one great employee, (black, with a sort of Mohawk, if you have to come here, have them help you) and she told me they didnt have what I was looking for, but they had something really similar! It was great, and I was going to buy it. So far okay.Then I went to pay. There was only one customer in front of me at the register and no one else in line. Im not sure what that customer needed, but it seemed really involved and it was taking a long time. I ended up waiting in line for several minutes, made eye contact with several employees, and no one offered to help. At the time, there were definitely more employees in the store than customers. I was waiting so long I started to feel embarrassed. Do they not want to help me? Do I seem desperate waiting this long to buy these beauty products? They all see me waiting and theyre ignoring me. So I put my stuff back and left. I should have just stuck with my comfort zone and ordered online, or just go to Ulta a couple miles away.

The service here isnt that great. Every time I visit, I have to corner someone working and ask for help because they avoid you! They walk away as fast as they can and talk with each other instead of assisting customers on the floor.Parking in this neighborhood isnt that fun, especially on nights and weekends.I prefer the Sephora in the Galleria, but this one is okay if you just need to stock up on something. If you really want a fun and helpful make-up shopping experience, go to another Sephora.

If I could give it zero stars on this review I would. While I cannot blame Sephora for their limited parking in the front or the garage, it doesnt add to my experience or make the visit to the store worth while. The staff in the store pretend to be busy so that they dont have to help you. Employees are too busy talking to each other and dodging people who come in. I remember when someone used to greet you at the door and ask if you needed help before you walk in. Now, I have to hunt down an associate and practically beg for help so that I can even spend money. If you are a person of color (black, latina, indian, etc.) you can bet that the women who are not of color will not want to help as they have lack of understanding of how to match foundation. At MAC they are diverse and can help ANYONE who comes in the store regardless of their skin tone. Sephora is forever out of products and helpful associates. They should also work on that horrendous lighting! They should also get more than one person to check out customers as well. The people at the register appear to be overwhelmed and pissed when they look around and see their own coworkers standing around and talking and the line is wrapped around the cash register. As a Rouge member I spend quite a bit of money at Sephora and have at this location for at least five years. All the good attentive and friendly associates and (REAL) make up artists are gone..to MAC!#rathershoponline

Went here to get my make-up done for my brothers wedding reception and had a really great experience! Bernadette (not sure if I spelled that right), Ebony, and Shumaila were extremely helpful and kind and worked hard to accomodate a last minute request that came up for my sisters appointment! Shumaila did a great job on my make-up and was very knowledgeable and talented about her work. I had wanted to use vegan/vegetarian make-up so she took some time to locate products that fit that description.They also did a mini-facial before the make-up which was very refreshing and prepped my skin really well for the make-up, as I have really dry skin.I would definitely recommend this store to others and especially Shumaila for beauty/make-up services as she did an amazing job!

The only person that ever speaks to me when I walk in is the greeter at the door. No one ever asks if I need help, they just stare to make sure I’m not stealing. I’m a VIP member and the customer service I experience here is always horrible. Know what you want before you go into the store or go to the Galleria for customer service.

I like this location because you dont have to walk through an entire mall to get to the store HOWEVER Ill be avoiding this one from now on because of the rude sales associate who is extremely short and looks like she has her face smashed in. Sorry thats the only way to describe her. I was waiting in line for like 15 minutes and because it wasnt exactly clear where the line was forming she yelled at me to GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE while people who had barely been standing there for 2 minutes got to check out first. Not only that, but as she walked away she was muttering curse words and insults under her breath. Not sure what this stores standards in customer service are but I can guarantee you I wont be going back to this one.

This isnt my favorite Sephora store. I have gone here multiple times when it wasnt very busy and received very little assistance. While I may not look like your average teenage shopper, I tend to buy multiple items at once. I am a VB member of Sephora. Willowbrook is the store where I like to go to to be waited on.I found their make up bar to be dirty early in the morning, and I didnt understand this, because they just opened. Not a real fan of this store in particular. Love the brand, but I would rather go online unless I really need something.

I did not even get a chance to buy anything because as I pulled in to park, a young lady gathered a crowd of workers to discuss how I was parking and I notice her hand gestures and body language. I called into the store to speak to the manager and realized she already knew what I was speaking about because the worker was concerned if I was going to hit her car. Bottom line they should have been working not standing in the main window having a discuss about a potential customer, whom they just lost.
