Im not one to be big on reviews, but I just wanted to express how impressed I am. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle that was not local. Of course I was a bit skeptical as there can be a lot of unknowns when purchasing a car out of town. Sunay was my salesperson and from the first time I inquired about my car he was very responsive and would even send pictures to my phone. I couldnt be more grateful to him and Southwest Auto. Definitely happy with my purchase.

This dealership is amazing! I was never pressured to buy anything or talk about numbers immediately like with the other big dealerships in the area. Rosario was extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire process. He allowed me to thoroughly inspect the car without any issue, he changed my oil, topped off my coolant and did another inspection before I purchased the vehicle to make sure everything was fine. This was a very transparent and honest experience. It was also the cheapest 2017 Toyota Corolla with reasonable mileage that I could find! Also, the first oil change is free! I highly recommend buying a vehicle from here and I will most definitely consider this place again when Im looking for a another car.

I purchased a newer car from this dealership a few months ago, and I couldn`t have been happier with the whole experience. It is in a questionable part of town, but it wasnt always that way, so dont judge the dealership by its surroundings. Theres no negotiation on the sticker price if youre looking to haggle for a deal, but their asking price was reasonable for the car I purchased. They are obviously very knowledgeable about cars as the owner has a few restored Rolls Royces in the showroom that he worked on, in addition to a classic Bentley and Corvette in the back as future projects.The buying experience was great! I didnt feel any pressure to purchase the vehicle, it was well taken care of, and could be mistaken for a new vehicle. During the test drive, I almost turned into a feeder road too quickly with oncoming traffic I didnt see, despite this Rosario (rep. with me in the car) did warn me loudly to get my attention but kept his cool through the whole experience.Ive had the car for some time now, and everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend Southwest Auto. Thank you for the great experience and awesome car!

Painless truck buying experience! Bought a Ford f250 from salesman Rosario. He was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to the purchasing and financing process. Rosario was not pushy in anyway, he gave my wife and I plenty of time and distance to discuss our decision. The truck I purchased was exceptionally clean, and I am throughly pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesman Rosario to anyone in search of a quality used vehicle.

I purchased a truck that was advertised by these guys on Autotrader. The sales guy Rosario straight up lied to me about the issues with the truck. I had asked the sales guy after the test drive if there was anything major that was wrong with the truck. He said there is nothing major that was wrong. I found out the next day that there was a missing tail pipe which would cause the emission inspection to fail. He totally lied about it. How do you sell a truck to someone knowing that it will fail emission! Next day when I called him to talk about it, he told me that the owner told me that the tail pipe is missing and it is just cosmetic and he wont replace it. I found out that to replace it was going to cost me over $1,000. In addition to that the remote that was advertised did not work. He agreed to take care of the remote. I took the car in to get the remote taken care of and they said we cannot program it here, you will have to take it to a dealer (cost $200). This is an extremely unethical business to the core and once they get your money they will give you the run around. Stay away from these guys and let your friends know. This was one of my worst buying experiences and will never again buy from these guys.***add 3/29The response from the owner continues the lies, if you want to avoid loosing money stay away from these guys. The owner mentions further lies in the response -Lie no. 1: you knew about the missing tail pipe and remote. This is a total lie. Let me expose how big of a lie that is (see screenshot of email).Lie no. 2 - He said in this response - remote lost its memory and need to reprogrammed. So these guys advertise the truck with a remote and it doesnt work. You dont try to advertise or sell something that doesnt work, at least the ethical ones dont. If your customer finds something is wrong the moment you drive out of your lot, you do what is right by the customer and fix it. You dont hide behind technicalities and say we dont have the capability to reprogram because you sold the truck with the remote as if it was working.Lie no. 3 - Vehicle will not fail inspection because of a missing tail pipe. Do I trust a mechanic that I have been doing work with and is honest or you guys? I will take the first option.Lie no. 4 - I harassed his employee. Nothing could be far from the truth. If you call questioning someone on why they choose to be dishonest and not do what is right is called harassing, then yes. And the sad part is he turns it around and threatens me! Shows the levels to which they will stoop.I gave you an opportunity to correct all the items before I reviewed your business. However, you choose not to. You would have received a 5 star review if you did what is right.My goal is to support businesses that do business ethically and expose ones that do not.

Suresh, Sunay, Rosario are good people that sold me a well maintained car at a good price. They are transparent and honest. They even went out of their way to do something for me that they did not have to do. There is a reason these guys have been in business for 40 + years. They are fair and act with integrity. I am glad I found these guys and will be back when it is time for another car. Definitely would recommend buying a car here.

Best used car dealer experience I have ever had. Sunay was extremely professional and helpful from the start. He worked with me to have my mechanic check out the vehicle who was an hour away and even stayed later than their hours to complete the sale and give me the best deal possible. He wasnt pushy like normal car salesman and was a genuinely great guy. I would 100 percent recommend this dealership and especially Sunay as a reputable and awesome place to get the best used car buying experience you will find in Houston hands down. I also received a great deal on my trade in and negotiated a lower price on the vehicle I purchased. Again overall great experience thats highly recommended. And he also extended the warranty to cover any check engine light problem that would pop up after my mechanic raised a concern about a readiness monitor that hadnt yet completed its check.

Just want to say how nice and courteous the father and son owners are at Southwest Auto Center. I sent my wife there to test drive a car which she decided she didnt like due to the interior color. They showed her another model just like it except with a light colored interior with less miles and she was in love. Buying process was painless and the car looks brand new. I had a chance to look at some of the other cars in their inventory and they were all super clean and low mileage vehicles. If youre in the market for a new car, definitely call them up!

This place is overpriced! I did a KBB value on the truck that I wanted on their lot and it was valued at $19000. This place was asking $29,998! The guy said the price was non negotiable and that we were getting a great deal. I showed the guy other trucks exactly like the one we wanted with less miles and more add ons and they still weren’t as expensive as this place. We took our money elsewhere!

There were minor blemishes with the interior when we purchased it in the form of a broken middle console when we told Southwest about it they replaced it immediately at no cost to us. I was in the market for a new pre-owned minivan and found exactly the model I wanted with the features I wanted at this dealership. Im also happy with the price.I had a pleasurable experience purchasing a car from them. I live out of the area and had to purchase this car remotely with family and friends checking it out in person for me.When I went to pick up my car, I was literally in and out in 20 minutes, which is unheard of when purchasing a car from a big-box dealer. The last time I purchased a car from a big-box dealer, I was kept waiting for several hours while I waited to speak with various people about a bunch of junk that I didnt want or need.My only criticism about this dealership was that I felt that I was not clearly shown my choices for purchasing a vehicle service contract.Overall I am happy with this dealer and, while I hope to not need to purchase a car again for several years, I would purchase from them again.

I got a clean car at a fair price. There were no games, add-ons, or surprises. The car was rehabbed superbly and there were no excessive dealer fees or pressure to buy. I dealt with Sunay and I have nothing but good things to say about him. The car came with a 90 day/5,000 mile warranty at no extra cost. SAC even offered a 48 hour buy back if I wanted to take it to a third party mechanic. Which I did, and the car checked out. SAC will be one of the first places I look next time I buy a car.

Worthless to work with. Customer care is garbage. I was in constant contact with them going through the process of getting approved for the loan, cash down payment, proof of insurance, paystubs, and as soon as everything was approved and right before I decided to head over there I gave him a call to tell him Im on my way and he informed the that the car had been sold that morning right out from under me. I purchased a 2013 Accord EX from Southwest Auto a little over two months ago. I love my new car, but more importantly I enjoyed my car buying experience and it is because the staff there are friendly and engaging. I did my initial search online and quickly met with Mr. Sunay. While waiting for him to arrive I had the opportunity to talk with his father about his experience and his collection of beautiful Rolls Royce classics on the showroom floor. The Patels were kind, honest and fair - I recommend them and I will certainly look forward to doing business again in the future!

I have used SW Auto Center for over 20 years. I bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Jaguar, Jeep, and a couple of Lexus cars from there. Over the years when it came to any repairs or accidents, I always took my car to SW Auto. The years of experience and professionalism put my concerns to ease. Suresh is a true perfectionist when it comes to repairing and painting cars. Sunay is a delight to work with and they have competitive prices when it comes to purchasing cars. Ive always have a wonderful experience at SW Auto. They may be a small dealership, but they actually care rather than going to big dealerships. I went to a Lexus dealership in town to get my car detailed. For whatever reason, they took off a large plastic piece from the bottom of my car trying to talk me into getting something else done to my car. After I said no, they did not lock the plastic piece back in place and I ended up having SW Auto put in place correctly. They are a family owned company, whose reputation means something to them rather than the large dealerships who dont treat you with respect!

Car Guru website turned up just what I was looking for and it was offered by Southwest Auto Sales, Houston. I contacted them and got through to a nice polite, laid back gent called Sunay. He was straightforward about the vehicle and its history, all of which was absolute straight truths, ( WOW I hear you now say... ! ) I turned up un-announced to find a beautifully presented vehicle.I was greeted by a very nice gent who was Sunays father; who gave me the key to open up the car and take a closer look.. Total Trust! Once Sunay had looked after his other client he introduced himself, took a copy of my licence and sent me on a test drive.The car was/is perfect, low mileage and beautifully looked after and presented. My wife and I purchased it to collect the next day, and Sunay even was kind enough to stay a little later for us after normal work hours to accommodate the 1.5hour journey from our house to Southwest Autos. The car was detailed and inspected, ready to go. He was totally transparent, decent and straightforward and a pleasure to do business with! Selected and researched cars from several dealers and private parties and selected car from SWAC. Sunay is not going to pressure you in any way, nor will his father who enjoys working on the cars. Before picking it up we started to question our deal when we stumbled upon 2 others. So before returning with our money, we checked out what seemed be the better deals. However, we were reassured that SWAC screens their cars well. There was a lot of exaggeration from other locations on what they consider a good car. Sunay selects the best of what is available. He has an attention to detail and everyone was helpful. I have no hesitation buying from here and recommending them as honest.

Worst dealer I have ever dealt with. They claim to be in business for 20 years. Uh, really? They are so unprofessional. The guy Vinay or Sunay, whatever his name is, is so freaking rude. Watch out for these guys!!! I bought a 2003 Infiniti G35 from Sunay in 2013. I went to sell the car recently and found out that it had frame damage. When I bought the car, Sunay happily handed me the Carfax report knowing that their database doesnt cover frame damage and it wouldnt show up on the report. He told me the car had never been wrecked other than a slight fender bender, and that they had to buff out some scratches on the door. I recently found out from the AutoCheck report that Sunay purchased the car at auction knowing that it had frame damage! What a scammer, liar, and bad businessman!! Ive been driving around in a damaged vehicle for years!!! I never would have purchased this dangerous vehicle in the first place if I had no been lied to. Buyer beware! Shame on you, Sunay!

I wonder from where do I start. If you are looking for a reliable car, avoid it at all cost. Im not an auto expert, but after buying went to a local autoshop to evaluate and was in a total surprise. There were 3 different makes of tires on my car. 2 Kelly, 1 Goodyear and 1 some brand which I have not heard in my lifetime. Out of curiosity went online to check and these costs hardly 65$ in walmart. There was a instance when I did brake a bit hard, rather coming to a stop, the car kept rolling for atleast 10 meters. Thankfully avoided a fender bender. Would not risk and I had to invest another 500$ in replacing them all !!Second: Went for my first car wash and the paint started to peel off. Poor detailing and the touch up were not good enough to withstand.Third: When I got delivery, i was assured of the second key, however sunay was not in town and was instructed to come later to pick it. After I called in a week later, it was an outright NO and I should get a duplicate at my own cost. An Extra 300$ cost to buy from a toyota dealer. And to dismay, Sunay was on a constant argument mode that he never said, would provide the 2nd key.Lessons Learnt: Buy from a Authorized dealer, rather dealing with these cheap shops. few bucks more, but satisfaction is guaranteed. Sunay is just terrible on how to talk to the customers. I see so many positive reviews here all from DESIs and I suspect if they are all geniune !!!! I bought two cars, a Mercedes and a Porsche from Sunay. This man is fair and very professional. He is to the point and always stays real. I was treated fairly and was given short and true information about both cars. I also knew in minutes how much my trade was worth. I had planned to visit several dealerships that day, and knew that Suney had good reviews, so I decided to visit his shop first. I was very pleased with Sunay. I will be going back again for a third car!PS. The following day, I drove both cars six hours straight to my hometown and both cars were smooth and perfect. I feel great! It was a pleasure doing business with someone who is fair. You dont see that anymore.

I dont recommend anyone to come to this place Really terrible customer service lady called a sales men but someone who works as a mechanic came out to try an sale me a vehicle. Never in my life I walk in into a dealership or small lot thats sales vehicles an before even test driving the vehicle they ask you do you have the cash let me remind you I have 13k in a check and 5k cash. The guys sees the check says 13k automatically his assumption was why are you wasting my time in a disrespectful manner. Such terrible customer service below poor.

When the time came to purchase a vehicle, I decided to overcome my nervousness with extensive research. I explored the KBB website, and it took me to the exact car I wanted. It was listed at such a good price I thought it had to be a scam or a salvaged vehicle. However, when I contacted Southwest Auto, Sunay provided me with the cars clean Carfax. I test drove the vehicle and fell in love. Sunay was truly a no pressure salesman, and patiently answered all of my questions. The whole experience couldnt have been easier. He was even helpful and accommodating after the sale when he honored his 30 day warranty by servicing noisy brakes. Out of curiosity, Ive looked online a few times after purchasing the car to see if comparable deals were available and I could find none. As a single woman that doesnt know much about cars, I appreciate the treatment I received while getting an amazing deal. I would highly recommend Southwest Auto Center and will purchase all future vehicles from them!

I have purchased 3 vehicles with less than 20,000 miles including 2 Toyota Camry XLE V6s and a Lexus GS 350. Sunay is a very knowledgeable, honest, and awesome person to buy cars from. He will find you what you want at a price much better than CarMax or the other auto dealers. He will guide you in the right way and will stand behind everything he sells. Got a $4000 vehicle in 2012. I am still using the vehicle. I had to replace the Battery, Starter, Alternator, Battery cables, Tires and just did the Engine Tune Up. Almost spent $1800 in repairs. Still need to fix the transmission and engine oil leak which is going to cost $1200.I tried to sell the vehicle and after pulling the carfax report from a dealer in New Mexico came to know that the vehicle has been in accident and the title stats exceeds mechanical limits, this means some tempering is done to the odometer reading by the previous owners. Now the vehicle is just worth $300.Mr. Sunay Patel did not disclosed the vehicle history when I purchased vehicle from southwest auto in 2012. Well I was new in america and was not aware about the Carfax and vehicle history report. I trusted him as we both belong from India but He fooled me. I can only say that SW auto is not loyal to their customers.Never ever do business with Southwest Auto.

I recently purchased a kind of hard to find car from Southwest Auto Center which they had advertised on an internet site. I did this purchase completely long distance as I live about 600 miles away. This is the first time I have bought a vehicle over the internet.The pictures and the details on the car were well & truthfully represented by SWAC, and they had gone over the car and done many maintenance items which a dealer really didnt have to do to a use vehicle. This sale required a lots of back and forth communication by phone & email to work out the details. The salesman there at SWAC who worked with me on this was Sunay Patal. He was great and stuck with me all the way too get the many details of the sale & delivery worked out. Everything went well and the car was great upon arrival.It was a pleasure to deal with Sunay & SWAC and I would not hesitate to do so again.

When it came time for me to purchase my daughters first car, I knew EXACTLY the make & model and even the year that I wanted. I searched for weeks around San Antonio and the cars that I found were either in bad shape or were missing some of the features that I wanted. When I finally found exactly what I was looking for, the car was 180 miles away in Houston. But the car looked so perfect and immaculate on the website, I decided to take the chance and drive out there to see it.Sunay showed me the exact car I was expecting to see (one dealership tried to do a bait-and-switch on me so I wasnt feeling very trusting at this time). He texted me and kept me up to date on the cars availability (I waited 4 days before I could drive out there - luckily it was still available). The car was immaculate, clean inside & out, had some of the lowest mileage I could find for this model, had a clean Carfax report, and the price was right. Sunay and his family were very kind to my wife & I and we were extremely pleased with our purchase. Sunay was even kind enough to FedEx my new plates to San Antonio. I highly recommend Southwest Auto.
