Opens at 8a. Im here at 8:40a and all the associates are sitting out side because no one has show. Up to open the store.

Cashier named Jaida had a horrible attitude & bad customer service. Acted as if everything was a bother & had a nasty, very unpleasant attitude when I asked where an item I was looking for was located. If you don’t want to work there then don’t apply for the job.

Excellent food always. Rasha prepares all food as if u were in her home. Authentic food no short cuts at all. I suggest u try manseif only on Sunday.If u like lamb Excellent dish. As well as entire menu really.

Its a great store for just about anything you need. Dollar General carries a little bit af everything from groceries to car supplies. Ive been here several times and I still havent made it down every aisle. Most of the employees at this store are helpful and friendly however there are a few exceptions. All in all a good store.

Dollar General needs to shut down completely! Nothing stocked in stores, ALWAYS PROBLEMS WITH REGISTERS AND COUPONS, and never enough employees or managers.Stores were better stocked in 2020 during Covid

The people at the store were really nice, but they were out of the gallon size of the tea my mom likes. We got Milos tea instead, which is fine with me. Good store, just dont expect them to have everything you need.

I love this Dollar General! Management and team members are SO helpful and friendly at this location! It is always clean and well-stocked and there is ALWAYS a smiling face to greet me! ☺ I no longer shop at the Dollar General near my home / place of employment (Bessemer - Parkwood Road location) because the female manager named Misty or Missy is so rude to customers, so I have to drive 20-30 minutes further to shop at Dollar General. This store is well worth the drive!

My daughter needed to get her 3 and 0 ballon blown up and no one wanted to put helium in non purchased ballon but luckily this store was our last hope and they succeeded. The cost wasn’t an issue at all. The manager and his staff members had a very satisfactory attitude. Thanks, again for making her day a wonderful day!

I go here almost every day, yesterday I went here, and I was double charged 65.87!!!!!!! Please be aware the computer system, stinks!!!! Will not go here anymore! Will drive to Pelham first!!!!!

I always have a great experience here! A large portion of the staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I love that the staff always takes the time to say hello to me and to check in and see how things have been since my last visit. The store is always clean and there are frequently great sales on fun/cute household items. The ONLY drawback I can see as a customer is that sometimes they dont seem to have enough people during certain shifts/days. Despite this, the employees have remained friendly, professional, and genuinely do their best to help.

I love Dollar Generals a step up from other less expensive stores. Great seasonal items and casual clothing. Good quick beauty products, cell accessories or a good selection of food. Clearance items are priced at a great bargain. Gotta love a 1 stop shop thats easy to find the items you need. Very helpful staff too. The employees went out of their way to assist me.

Good after Holiday sales

Store is always clean and well stocked. Was returning an item had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come to do a return.Cashier was not able to do for some reason. Also cashier was outside smoking on arrival. Must have new management. Never had these issues at this location before.

Really great place to pick up last minute stuff

I wish there is less than one star. The manager (guy with beard) who is a very rude guy, called the police on 11 years old kids that are frequent customers after one of them dropped off a merchandise by accident. He accused them of doing it on purpose. He even told one of the kids who was defending his friends to shut up. An absolute disgrace to have this guy serve this wonderful Bluff park community. This was the last time we step in this store.

Im staying in a studio Extended Hotel waiting for my apartment to be available, I needed a few things then Googled the nearest Dollar General. Im disabled with a bad back I went to Dollar General and one of the attendance was just an angel to me I got there right before closing she help me get all my things together got me out the door and I came back to the place where I am staying she was awesome and I know that she will go far in her life so go nanny

Sometimes the checkout can take to long. I wish they had 2 registers open more often. Nice workers at this location though.

Place is always severely understaffed and stock setting on the floor for days before its put on the shelf. On a positive note, the employees are very nice when you finally get to the checkout. Long lines are the norm for this place and there is usually a single employee working the store. If they had 4 employees stocking and working the checkout it was be a 4 to 5 Star Rating.

With summer items going on sale, sometimes its difficult to figure out what items are really on sale. For 3 days they were running a BOGO 50% of summer items. When checking out I had managed selecting an item not on sale. The cashier was very helpful and took the time to help me find a similar item that was part of the sale. The store was very clean, and organized. The only problem with this particular store is finding the restroom (in the stock area, having to go through a maze and pick a door). I have a toddler and for those of you that have children know, when they say they have to go, theyve gotta go NOW. Im still giving this store a 5 star because the customer service was absolutely helpful, just wish they had signs better directing me to the restrooms.

This dollar general is conveniently located! The employees are friendly for the most part.... but don’t try to go in there close to them closing, we arrived at 9:56 pm to grab one bag of candy at the front of the store and they refused to serve us, even though they still had 4 minutes before closing. The door wasn’t even locked yet, but the two guys at the register told us that the lady at the register was the last customer for the day.

Apparently everyone knows that dollar general does have SOME items that you can get cheaper than other places, because this store in particular always has at least 10 people in line and only one cashier. Seems like they rotate through cashiers like college football teams rotate through kickers.It is only because im a frugal person and like to save money when I can, that I will go back to this store but I DREAD it every time I go.

They need to be double-checking their prices!! What it says on the shelf does NOT match when rung up. Other than that, you can find things you are looking for pretty easy.

Your new assistant manager Laura is very , rude , unprofessional and uneducated. Basically hassled me over buying more than 1 (different) pack of cigarettes & basically accused me of buying it for someone else when Im 24 yrs old & willingly showed her my Id. Shes never seen me before to even assume that & Everyone else I have encountered that works here is friendly, except this new short, piggish lady. I regularly shop here & she needs to be retrained!

The guy working was super helpful.

My grandmother needed help getting a laundry basket from the top shelf. After asking multiple times for help, being ignored, and waiting half an hour, the manager came to help her. My grandmother obviously inquired why she had to wait so long and mentioned she felt she hadn’t been treated fairly. At this point the man pulled his phone out and threatened to CALL THE POLICE on my 74 year old grandmother, the kindest person I’ve ever known. Very understaffed! I dont feel safe there...alot of the Christmas decorations not even unboxedI feel sorry for the employees however they dont complain & always so nice. Apologize for the long wait at the check out. Im sure Dollar General can afford more employees & security at ALL the locations. Most stores are under staffed but this store by far the worst....

I dont normally go into this store but I was in the area and had to grab some stuff for dinner. The store was a mess, rolltainers everywhere, none of the aisles looked like the had been recovered in months, and I even saw some Easter merchandise still in boxes. I have worked for dollar general previously, even this store for a week to get it ready for a corporate visit, so I know that you need at least 5-6 people working around the clock just to try and maintain the ridiculous standards that corporate sets. If this store doesnt have that many people working at least occasionally then corporate needs to increase their payroll hours desperately, but if they do, unlikely, this store may need some new employees.

Very cluttered and difficult to navigate. Under staffed. Halloween items still out and christmas decor impossible to reach. Restocking was needed and apparently ongoing with carts of boxes blocking aisles. Couldnt find what I needed.
