This is the best Walmart in the Birmingham metro, and maybe anywhere. Clean, well stocked, and nice employees that are helpful and don’t act like they hate you for shopping there. I go out of my way to come to this location

Never fails when I go in for my favorite ok, their always out. I would think if that is whats going out the most, it should be stocked more. Hundreds of people are in and out and the store only stocks not even half. A better strategy should be in place to combat this issue

This may be the nicest WM Ive been to! Clean, good produce, all of the shelves were stocked and the employees were helpful BEFORE I had to go find one! The only problem is that they dont carry any grain-free cat food brands. (They should....the Supercenters do and more people are realizing the grain is whats been making their cats vomit so much!)Nice store....i wish i lived near it, but was only visiting a friend.

This location is consistently awesome. I started doing grocery pickup in August 2020 during COVID. I only go to this location. Today, Ken loaded my groceries and was so kind and polite. I received a little gift bag of samples too. Excellent employees and management.

My favorite, not so busy Walmart neighborhood market. Courteous and helpful staff. I do a lot of grocery pickup there too; they have always been on time. Fruits and veggies are well-selected. I frequently pickup online orders there as well.

This Wal-Mart is an exception to others. Great service...in store and on pick up items. If you cant find something, they will actually take you to it and not just tell you the aisle number. On pick ups, they choose as if it were for themselves on quality. We truly appreciate therm!

I did a grocery pickup and when I arrived I was the only customer. 12 other cars arrived and received their order before me. 40 minutes past my pick up time and I finally received my order. Will not use this Walmart again.

I came to this Walmart once looking for some fries that were out of stock everywhere else and it’s been my favorite store to get groceries since then. I go every week!

Between this store, the 280 Wal Mart, and the Chelsea Wal Mart, this one is by far hands down the best pick up service. They’re very fast and they almost always get the order right. Chelsea and 280 are a bunch of buffoons. I go about 2 miles out of my way to do pickup here

I like this location but that creepy Indian lady just stands there and watches you ring up. Maybe she needs to come help and stop staring as if everyone is going to steal something. I mean put her to work or cut the customers a check for bagging our own items. Im giving 4 🌟 because I like the store.

Sales tax is only 5% at this Walmart. The employees are always super friendly! We tried curbside pickup there and they even had everything ready for us early. Its 30 mins from my house but worth the extra drive!! 6 stars

Store is a little smaller than other Markets, but thats nice, less walking. Biggest plus, store is in Indian Springs & sales tax is only 5%.

This location doesnt enforce mask mandate. Manager said they dont want to get sued. What about your liability of a customer or employee contracting Covid-19 at your location due to lack of enforcement.

Our cashier was super nice. They were out of wipes for the buggy handle and the girl we asked acted like she couldnt be bothered to get us some more. Flu season is right around the corner. Maybe they should order some from Target.

My old reliable standby when it comes to quick, efficient grocery pickup. I dont think their produce is as good as our local Publix, but the prices for everything else are better. Easy in, easy out.

The store is fine, however the customers do not under social distancing, or how to read the arrows on the isles.

My favorite Wal-Mart above all the rest I love the staff members their like my own family they will go out of their way just to say hello and b4 covid big hugs they definitely know the true meaning of superb customer service. I was looking for French Vanilla Ice Cream, and this is the walmart that had Breyers French Vanilla.

Absolutely delicious!! Got a rack of ribs and a sandwich to share between 4 adults and we still brought home leftovers. My husbands favorite bbq around! Limited seating but totally understandable with the popularity of the restaurant. Will be going back again and again!

Normally, they have what I need but very few Progress Soups,and had to pay more money for paper plates. Running low on toliet paper,paper towels, great value paper plates,no tissue, hardly any paper towels.

Shout out to the wonderful techs and pharmacists in the Pharmacy at this location .They know my wife and I by a first name basis, and always inquire about any procedures follow ups, or medication efficacy. They always have a very quick turnaround time, even in their busiest hours, you wont wait more than 30 minutes. Beside being very passionate about their jobs, they are just very pleasant and kind hearted people. Switching to this pharmacy was the best decision weve made in a long time.

Well organized, clean and fairly priced. Plenty of parking. Customer service is not great, and I really dont like to self checkout. I dont work for Walmart, so I shouldnt be forced to self checkout. Not a huge store, but should have what you are looking for.

Probably the best selection from any Wal-Mart Ive ever been to. They have duck fat on the shelves (still amazed at that), tons of foods for allergy concerns, and theyre cheaper than most of the city.

This is my go to Walmart. I love it, the people are nice, and I know where everything is lolThe only real problem I have is the building destroys my phones service the second Im even close to the building. Sitting at the drive up window at the pharmacy or sitting at the Walmart pick up, I lose service COMPLETELY. Idk why or how, but it never fails. And I have T-Mobile, my service is always great so I know it has nothing to do with my phone or my service.

Smaller store but good stock and prices

This is the main store I shop. I love their pork loin and BBQ ribs. I get the great Value brand sodas. They have the cat food I need. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Conveniently located near me.

I felt it was necessary to leave this review for several reasons. First, and foremost, the 2 pharmacist ( A and T) are two of the finest people you will ever meet. Even though they are stressed with the huge volume, they manage to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and always find time to answer any questions. I include all of the techs in this review. Their knowledge and ability to deliver the information to a lay person gets them a 10 out of 10. They dont let their work overload interfere with the consistent friendly they always demonstrate. Secondly the purpose for this review is to negate the negative review left by a previous customer. She must have done something irrational, disrespectful, and displayed a rotten attitude. There are always two sides to a story and its too bad we cant hear from the pharmacists and techs to share their side of the story. I have been to a lot of other pharmacies and there are none that come close to the level of service that this pharmacy provides.

The local Walmart grocery located on the corner of Valleydale and Caldwell Mill in Birmingham, AL has to be not just one of the nicest Walmarts that I have ever visited, but really, one of the best of any local grocery stores.The store is clean, well lit, wide aisles, and has everything you need. You dont have drive your cart around a bunch of obstacles in the aisles.But what really makes it great, is the staff. As you walk around the store everyone who works there will ask if you need any help. The cashiers are friendly and chat with you as you check out. The managers and customer service team are equally helpful. And the pharmacy staff, goes above and beyond to be helpful.We recently moved and the store is no longer convenient to where we live but we put up with the extra drive because of the service and selection at the store.Whoever manages and hires and trains in that store needs to handle that process for all of the stores. Excellent job!

Great location. Employees are helpful. Most of my experiences have been pleasant. The last couple of times Ive been in, there were large sections of stock that were empty and filled with other things.

2021- This use to be my favorite Walmart. Im a regular customer and to go in there an us self check out they watch you like you stealing something verse others they walk off like its nothing. They greet and thank who they want coming in and out of the store.Love it

This is so much faster than going to the bigger Walmart stores. Of course the selection is smaller but for grocery shopping its great. Sales tax is also less here than across the street at Publix.

Its starting to go downhill. We, by chance, found that the Walmart Supercenter on hwy 280 has same items cheaper than the market. Also, the self checkouts go down a lot. When this happens, they do not bring in more cashiers. I complained, but the manager that was there just kept saying that self checkout wasnt working. Only two cashiers. Employees are not as friendly as they used to be.. I went to Publix across the street. Its a shame.
