Good selection of items. Very, very small and tight. Lots of items everywhere with no system or organization. We did find things we liked but it wasnt worth coming back since it was hard to find what we did.

I usually love shopping here but had an unfortunate experience today. Guy cut me in line to be with his wife, which is whatever. He doesn’t have a mask on, and before you enter the store there are many clear signs saying that whole in the store you just wear one. I politely asked him to put it on, as it was in his back pocket. He turned around and ignored me. His wife heard me and didn’t even say anything either - and she had a mask on! I get up to check out and ask an employee to see what she can do to sort it out. She goes to her manager who says that the law only applies to certain places in Alabama so he can’t enforce it. I tell her well it’s on your business doors so yes, you can. She was on my side about it and apologized.I am just amazed that the manager won’t say anything not empower his employees to do so. People wonder why COVID is still around Alabama...

I usually don’t write many reviews about stores, unless I’ve been treated extremely poorly. This was definitely not the case here. I have to give an amazing review to the store manager and all of the employees. It’s Thanksgiving week, and the store was extremely packed with people. I’ve never seen a HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, or Marshall’s EVER be as organized as yesterday. Everything was in its place, many times I had employees asking if they could help me, even one asked if they could carry a few items to the line to checkout. Not only do they have plenty of registers open, they had opened an additional 2. The store manager stood at the the front instructing employees to and from the registers, as needed. I hope the Store Manager reads this, because she definitely deserves praise for her hard work!

This is my favorite place to buy bedding.They have the softest sheets and comforters.I bought a DKNY queen sheet set for only $24.99.

Since buying a new home I have began frequenting Homegoods, but will no longer go to this location. The manager Johnny was extremely rude due to a curtains return. He complained that I was making a return and that some of the returns were for the Trussville location. He went onto try to give me half of my money back because he was complaining instead of listening to the cashiers explanation. He then talked about how it was too bad it was so hard for me to pick out curtains that I had to return to the store and bring these back as they no longer have their packaging and that would cause an issue with selling them. The packing of the curtains is not ideal and I explained that I saw other curtains on the rack with tags on them and no boxes. He informed me that they don’t sale as if that was my fault. It’s sad that he complained about my returns not realizing I was buying curtains that basically off set the return I had just completed. Before I left the store, he gave me my receipt and said “there ya go kiddo.” A totally unnecessary comment. This prompted the cashier to apologize profusely and explained that his comments were completely inappropriate. This all happened while the another cashier looked on uncomfortably. I now understand that my businesses is not valued and I will continue to go to the Trussville location, which is more organized and has friendlier associates. I only gave two stars because of the kind cashier.

HomeGoods is such a fun place to shop. I like that the selection is unique and plentiful. I buy seasonings, pillows, bowls, art, sculptures, etc. This is one of my favorite places.

Its a very nice store for most of your decoration needs, they boast a wide range of products from kitchen supplies to your basic furniture with varied prices. I enjoyed the seasonal section of the Halloween decorations they had, plenty of skulls an witches. It was a very pleasant atmosphere the only complaint I would have is the isles felt cramped to me

I enjoyed my first visit to Home Goods! There were lots of things on sale! Other things reasonably priced. I was surprised at how clean & neat everything was. Ill go back again when I have more money.

I can always find a deal. Typically understaffed and long checkout lines. If it wasnt for the rude cashier, this would be 5 stars.

Strangely, the decor is starting to remind me a lot of Hobby Lobby - lots of religious pieces. Not as many side tables to choose from as there used to be.

I always enjoy my HomeGoods visits even when I dont find any treasures. I have to find a better time to go, they have become very popular and are often packed.

Love Home Goods!! Always seems clean and well-stocked with interesting, elegant and/or unusual merchandise.

This store had a lot of awesome decor for the home and office. It reminded me a lot of TJ Maxx (they are probably owned by the same company) with their setup and products. The service was fine. The workers werent rude, but still not very friendly. They gave off the I dont want to be here and I dont want to deal with you vibe. We all have those days tho.Definitely recommend.

The location is great with some wonderful, eclectic finds here. Some of the staff is rude, but thats just a peril at nearly any retail place. I can find just about anything I need there for my home and garden.

Ive always liked shopping at the Hoover HomeGoods. They offer so much more than some of the other Home Goods

The manager (by the name Al) and he was very rude and unprofessional! I felt so disrespect. I thought he was an employee but was shocked when I ask to speak with a manger about him to find out he was the manager!! Really!! He should not be a manager if he’s going to treat customers like trash.

Its way too cluttered and messy. Lately, its become such an unpleasant shopping experience. The selection is decent. The Mt. Brook location is much better and the parking isnt a nightmare.
