11/1/2021 Finally tried this cute place! Id heard about it from my pal whos a big fan of gelato and this place is her #1. The young ladies who helped us were so friendly & helpful, giving details about all the different flavors. Everything sounded delicious! It was so hard to decide but I ended up choosing Almond Cookie and Guava and my pal got Haupia and Green Tea Oreo. She loved hers and I loved mine. Hope I can go back soon to try other flavors. They also had a freezer full of prepacked gelatos and cakes.

They always interesting combination of ingredients…always nice surprise.Got some shirts and bags for gift as well as the custom ice cakes and variety of pints to go.

Still a standout dessert spot in the neighborhood. But when I stopped in this time to try the featured flavors, they lacked distinctiveness. Im looking forward to their starting to offer single slices of their ice cream cake, starting next week (~10 October 2021).

Course has a interesting layout which I enjoyed. Not a fan of back and forth golf courses. Greens and fairways are well cared for. 1 star deduction ifor the carts, way past replacement lifecycles.

Havent been back since Covid started, but its as good as we remembered it. We got the mango float, green tea mochi, lilikoi and Okinawan sweet potato. All the flavors were good except the mango float. Maybe it was a bad batch, but it tasted more like a grainy pumpkin pie with a small hint of mango.

This place has a GREAT VARIETY of flavors. Even the Keiki size is a good portion for an adult. But why to cut short? ;) Endulge! These gelatos are so good!

I have been coming here for years so its probably time for a review. Pre-pandemic, they have the greatest flavors on rotation and do great work generally. With pandemic, they have made it even easier to get your gelato to go! You can text or order online for pints to go, pay ahead (with online ordering), jump in to grab it and go. It is super easy. So if you havent checked them out and want to, I highly recommend it.

My favorite place for sorbetto... because they have vegan options... sometimes five flavors at a time! And the flavors change every week, so, youre never bored!

Im not a big sweets or ice cream (gelato) person, but their homemade creations are always ono. Havent seen a mint chocolate chip option yet in the few times Ive been. I like that they let you get two flavors, all the way down to the teeny keiki size cone. Super popular place so expect to wait during peak hours.

The artwork is phenomenal, hand drawn chalk board are looking very professional. Cute shop definitely work a stop for the sweet taste after a date night!

Not many flavors and not much flavor. The prices were decent but I just didnt feel this was even remotely connected to any italian gelato experience, texture or taste that Ive had. Now I am always open to new and unique flavors but it just is not creamy and delish.

The only place that does Earl Grey Gelato right! Ive been here a few times and absolutely enjoy their gelato, my favorite being the earl grey, if you arent a huge sweets fan they always have something for everyone.

So good! All the flavors are made on site. Youll get your scoops in a ramekin because theyre not into single use waste. Yay! If you have to dash (if you cant sit and enjoy) then bring your own (clean!) containers. But youll want to sit and enjoy the ambiance and your generous serving of gelato. Look for chef specials! Todays was Earl Grey Tea & Mango and Mango Bread. Wow!

Delicious, fresh flavors. Kind staff, even with all the covid regulations. They are so friendly and allow 2 samples per person. I loved their almond cookie and butter rum pecan gelatos. Definitely a place to stop by when in town !

Always go after finish dinner or lunch near there

I liked the fact you can sample, but that was about it. It was very bland, flavors were undefined and frankly the worst gelato(not real gelato) I have ever had and probably some of the worst ice cream I have ever had at that. Prices were not bad however, so thats a plus I guess.

Decided I wanted something cold and wanted to sit and enjoy. Was nice to be able to sit and enjoy. The waffle bowl seemed not as fresh (very chewy) but still enjoyable

Fun flavors that change constantly. The salted caramel brownie one is a must... if you like caramel and brownies 🤤

The shop was so adorable . It was very delicious, they didnt really have lots to choose from, I just had brown sugar vanilla (i think) with unicorn food (sprnkiles & colorful cone) they also have GOLD ! I know they make it fresh everyday so it depends on what they are making that day. Explains why there are such little to choose from. But they have already packaged pints as well.

5 stars based on customer service. The staff was kind, patient and will lyk sample. They sample with metal tiny spoons. Mgr on duty was also kind. He helped his staff. I prefer IL gelato or Nordstrom gelato. Wait time 15mins at 830p on a Tues. NO RESTROOMS for customers. Parkg is far and few. A few tables inside. They sell stickers, keychains, bags. They have help yourself water.

This shop is so adorable from the moment you walk in. Decorated cute with a nice open area. The person behind the counter was super friendly knowledgeable about their products. Great variety of ice cream and sorbet which we were told the switch flavors weekly. I was told they keep their instagram account updated with the current flavors! Always delicious! I had the Fierce Chocolate today and it is fierce in flavor. If you like chocolate, nope, make that if you are a chocolate lover (like myself) get this! I must say though that the price is also FIERCELY expensive. This treat is a once in a while for me - this way, I really enjoy it when I finally eat there again.

Admittedly I went there because I had a certificate for a free pint of their Gelato. How excited was I when I saw they have a great selection of vegan options!! I was able to pick up 2 smaller containers and Im ecstatic! The haupia is so creamy and full of flavor. The staff there was so attentive, courteous and very appreciative. I treated myself to a kiddie sized scoop of their vegan strawberry Gelato- mmmm, ono! And way bigger scoop than I expected! I was a happy camper! 😋😁Support the small local businesses!!💕👍 well worth the drive to town!!

Always a joy to stop in for a delicious scoop. House made ice cream in interesting flavors, never to sweet. However the staff is always sweet and so is the spot. Grateful to have them!

Best gelato Ive ever had

Delicious and fresh gelato in several different flavors. They offer samples as well. Friends and fast service. They have portions much larger than places nearby especially than those in Waikiki beach.

We came here after a nice dinner with family and expected great things. When we first arrived it was crowded, which is a great sign that it should be good. We all got the Rocky Road and overall it was delicious. My reason for 3 stars was the service. Definitely lacking in efficiency and communication. Getting our gelato half melted because it took so long to prepare isnt acceptable.Overall, the gelato itself was good, but the service needs help.

Every time I visit Honolulu Via Gelato is on my list of must do. They have the standard flavors but always surprise with the most unusual island flavors.By the way this place is my first experience with a business that does not accept cash payments.

This is already a classic spot. Innovative, imaginative and with true enthusiasm for gelato and sorbet. What makes this place really stand out is their wide selection of vegan flavors (gelato as well as sorbets) and their responsiveness to suggestions. I love it!

A pleasant surprise as a visitor from the East Coast. Interesting variety of flavors (green tea oreo, milk tea, mango, peanut butter oreo, black sesame). Cute little store with cool ambience. The employee there was so pleasant and willing to let us try many flavors before deciding. Gelato is refreshing and not too sweet, which is how I tend to like it. Reasonably priced.

Popular gelato shop. Sometimes when we go weekend evenings the line is out the door but it doesnt take long to get served. Might not find a spot to sit down but its worth it! I love the unique flavors. Today I had a peanut butter with chocolate almond toffee. So yummy! My kids had the fierce chocolate which is indeed very fierce. Not your average chocolate. Very dark. Maybe a little too dark for my toddler but my chocolate-loving 8 year old loved it. Always very friendly and inviting staff.

Excellent experience! The spoons are perfectly shaped to scoop out the bottom of the bowls (youll see what I mean when you try it), and the flavors are inventive. Customer service is friendly and helpful, just like it should be. This is what a dessert shop should be like.

Some original and interesting flavors of gelato. Some have good flavor and some just sound good. Waffle cones there are yummy tho.... very unique and tastes like a cookie... fresh and crispy. My favorite is usually the frosted flake flavor. Gelato seems softer then regular ice cream too but their sorbets usually have good fresh flavors... like guava... calamansi with basil....unique little spot

The BEST Chocolate Gelato ever! Some of their other flavors are awesome too... Haupia, Cookies and Cream, Black Sesame and Earl Gray Tea to name a few. Only negative is the new eat in ceramic containers are way too small, especially for the Shaved off even top of Gelato.

Ive gone to this place once and have been dying to go again. The gelato is incredible and the spot is cute and modern. There are tables inside but parking is super limited. Perfect for s stop on a date but the area doesnt really have much else to offer.

Not really a traditional gelato, more like soft ice cream. They update their menu and flavors every Tuesday by rotating out different flavors. You can also suggest different flavors.

Their gelato is a work of art and the flavors never disappoint. Just tasted the “Gingerbread w/ Dulce De Leche” and this is definitely among the absolute best gelato and ice cream I’ve ever had, anywhere in the world.

Via Gelato makes handmade gelato everyday with a good selection of flavors. This place is very popular so flavors run out fast. Theres usually a long line after the dinner hours.I would highly recommend this place for desserts.

This place has delicious gelato and sorbet with a variety of local flavors. I just devoured a small cup of almond cookie and black sesame while my husband had a regular cup with fudge coffee swirl, intense chocolate, and stracciatella ♥️♥️ so yummy. We will be back to try the mango bread no ka oi flavor, mango sorbet with mango bread chunks, and the mountain apple sorbetto!!

Delicious gelato. Made in Hawaii with lots of local flavors and flavor options. They try to be plastic waste conscious by using metal spoons (my personal preference) and have a nice seating area indoors and a nice bench outdoors. The flavors are not overly sweet, so you dont leave there feeling like you will fall asleep...Goma (sesame seed) gelatin reminded me of Chinese gin dui.

You would think that walking into a place the serving something as cold as Gelato i would be just that, cold. But it is the complete opposite. Warm smiles, pleasant music and the aroma of cinnamon(what I smelled) and the TINY spoons. Oh, how adorable. They have games ( connect four, and scrabble). This is my go-to ice cream place. I remember when this place started as a food truck, now its crowded every night! My favorite flavors are Frosted Flakes and Butter Pecan, but honestly, I havent had anything I didnt like there yet. Do not pass on the waffle cone -- honestly, the BEST Ive ever had.
