Need to go back here to try more of the menu, just dropped in for a coffee to get change for the meter outside. It’s a cute space inside, and they sell specialty chocolates, canned coffee, and teas in addition to baked goods and coffee drinks. It didn’t look like they were allowing dine-in at the time, but there were tables and chairs in one area beyond the counter.

As with many places in Kaimuki, this is a nice hole in the wall gem. Come here if youre across the street at Kaimuki Auto Repair doing car maintenance.Because its so popular, the workers can be stuck in the chaos of rush hours to be attentive to new people — I foolishly waited behind people who already ordered before realizing orders were taken at the side door.Coffees tasted pretty nice, to be expected of $5 value. If you want exclusive Hawaiian coffee theyre out most of the time and youre better off going to Honolulu Coffee at Ala Moana.

I usually come here to buy the beans - I enjoy buying the Big Truck blend to use at home, and really appreciate that I can buy beans that were roasted less than a week prior. The drip coffee is great, very fruity, and strong. Really hoping they can open seating soon as the ambience/decor/architecture are very modern and clean and Id love to work there on my laptop.

The banana bread was moist and flavorful (another item Ill be hoping to find a replica of, near me).

Dustin & Devon are super kind and knowledgeable! The place looks very unassuming from the outside, but they make an outstanding coffee, and have a few selections for a bite to eat. Dustin addressed almost every person who walked in the door by name and with a smile! Clearly, it is a place that locals return to frequently, and people passing through Waikiki should make it a point to stop by to share a smile, pet a pooch, and have a great cup of joe! Mahalo Nui guys! I look forward to returning when I pass back through Oahu! 🤙🌺😊

Dandelion mocha is sooo addicting! And the George, though odd sounding, is highly sippable for a cold drink. Very good coffee, and the kicker is... 60 cents off each drink with your own container?!?! That means you get high quality, hand crafted drinks for the same or less cost than SBX, sooo the choice is clear. Only problem is if there is a long line, they are a small shop, so chill for a bit.

Wonderful little coffee shop in Kaimuki. The barista who made our pour over, was super friendly and helpful. He took his time to explain the differences between the various coffees we were considering, and took his time to brew two perfect cups of coffees. He even opened a Kona coffee pack, for us!I thought the coffee was fairly priced, especially for the quality of the beans, and the amount of time it takes. There are a few tables inside, but not a lot of space, especially if you have a larger group.Would definitely visit again, if I am in the area.

This place is so perfect. Great beans (Olympia when I went) expertly pulled shot. Friendly and welcoming staff. Only issue. No organic milk option. Im dying to give this place 5*. I simply cant when you are forced to go non dairy or ingest toxic pesticide residues, GMO soy, and hormones and antibiotics. When you think about it, what ls the point of having great beans, a $25K La Marzocco, and conventional milk? I understand there a supplier issue. Lets hope its resolved and they get back their organic milk option.

I found a place that serves pour over. Took a while for sure (to find a place - not to get the pour over). Staff is very friendly. There is something super odd about their internet access though. I fooled around with settings for about 15 minutes and as far as I can tell TWC/Spectrum has problems or is purposefully blocking some sites. They seemed to be all Google web properties that had issues (maps, G-Suite/Mail). And it seemed to happen all/most of the time with Chrome - fired up Safari and worked fine. Very weird. Ive not experienced this problem at any other location on Hawaii for the past month. Maybe its just me but my phone also had problems...again only Chrome. Oh well.At any rate, the pour over was OK. Ethiopian which is usually something I like although I realize there are a lot of different Ethiopian beans on the market these days so maybe I got something that doesnt tickle my fancy. I need it stronger (yes, I know its a light roasted bean). Maybe theres a Philz on Oahu somewhere! ;-)Nice, simple, decor. Minimalist. Id watch out though - they are borderline pretentious/snobby. We all go through that phase of coffee I guess.
