Don’t get your car inspected here was told I needed a costly manifold during inspection and went somewhere else didn’t need only Needed struts and a break adjustment and tent removal.

Military and business beware. James Thompson owner is full of it. Never pay in full until u see ur finished product. Its been a year later 15k plus paid and he hasnt finished my truck. He takes advantage of you and your time. I was promised 4-6 weeks for all my modifications to be complete; LIES! Shop around else where, hell charge you an arm and a leg for a simple task and you could have probably done it yourself at the Auto Skills Center. I really warn you to stay away from this shop! Dont be like me and get one pulled over on you. I swear to you on my family this is one place you better drive by and ignore. If you must investigate, go pay the shop a visit....is work reflects. The secretary is the only professional piece of this hole. STAY AWAY!

I took my car into there shop and i had a door dent big smash on my car. they gave me a great price and i had a great family like feeling working with them because they took the time to go into detail of the process of the paint and that they warranty there work in writing!! great communication from the Secretary and heads ups on the status of my car since i have only one car and got 4 kids to drive to and from school. great quality on the paint as while,, they even detailed and washed my car that was so dirty from the rain.. yey, we will recommend for sure!!!!

With my custom body kit it’s hard to find a body shop that can work on my car. J&J Autoworks was the only shop even willing to look at my car. James offered me a great package deal for repairing my body kit and giving my baby a brand new paint job for quite an affordable price. I was shown a massive variety of paint; his color book is bigger than the dictionary! He also had colors from iconic sources such as MTVs “Pimp my Ride and “West Coast Customs”. Not only that, but they do far more than just body work. James offered me everything I needed to turn my ride into a show car from, air suspension, engine tuning, custom electrical work, sounds, Lamborghini doors, rims, tinting, and so much more. If you want to make a real head turner this is the shop to go to!

After finally taking care of my insurance claim for my vehicle, I went to a few shops looking for the best place to do my repairs. I just wanted to talk a little business with the owner Jay and show some enthusiasm about my interest in Auto body work. From there on I felt as if this guy was trustworthy to handle the job I came to him for. As soon as I was ready to take my car in to start the repairs, Dominique helped me and even drove me down the street to the local Enterprise. The process went smooth from the get go thanks to Dominique and Jay and all the workers at the shop. Everyone has different experiences and my experience doing business and working with these people have been a great experience. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because in reality no business is completely perfect. I will be glad to come back for more projects in the future. Mahalo J&J auto works, Ill be back soon.

Doesnt even have a real shop. Owner lost shop and now tries to scam people. Owner claims to be a religious man but clearly hes not. Loves to get military guys and hes full of lies. Some of these reviews are fake but if you think mine is just check yourself to see his actual reviews like other sites or just try to call him. All you have to do is check out all the complains he has.

I took my car to James or J I like to call him. Back in 2011 I went to one of these well known auto body shops I wont mention the name. its located near Kakaako. And they did a poor poor job. Paint wasnt matched they took stuff off like my fender skirt and didnt put the skirt back... I got home an noticed it was missing. I went back to that so called professional paint shop and they said they have no clue what I am talking about. So I went to see Bruddah J at J&J Autoworks he said he would have to repaint the whole car to fix all the imperfections. I thought I was going to be charged a arm and a leg but it was reasonable and in my ball park. He did the car and it looks really good. I only see him now for minor dings and dents. He does top notch quality work. Those other reviews on yelp and elsewhere saying that his work is poor quality must be false cause he does the best with whatever he got. So if you want good quality autobody work at affordable prices go see James. He will tell you what the best approach is for your car. Thanks J for everything you did on my car.Aloha

Thanks jjautoworks. great customer service from the secretary..i felt she was very upfront with me. it was hard to get a date since they are so busy, i had a big smash on the rear bumper and they gave me a awesome price. i loved working with them .they informed me when and how long it would take to fix my car and gave me alot of heads up since that was the only car i had to drive.. great business, great communication.thanks jj crew,,,

I took a car to j js and he did a good job for a good price. then my fathers car needed some work so i was going to take it to j js. my brother read one of the negative reviews and said maybe we should go to another shop. i read the bad reviews but they were so far from what i experienced that i totally discounted them and took the car to him and for the 2nd time he did a great job for a honest price. my thoughts on the negative reviews is that one of the shops around him doesnt like his good prices. if you want to ask me about the work he did feel free to contact me via my website fredgordon.us and i will be glad to answer any of your questions.

Took my mercedes benz to jj autoworks in honolulu from a referral from another solider in my company that had work done on his car a few years back. i got in a fender bender while at the nex i hit a poll at the gas pump ewwand wanted to get it fixed asap. i took it over to see jay the owner and it took about 6 weeks to get into his shop since he was booked up, mean while i choose to have my whole car fully re painted the same time since i dident like the color and they had a really large color selection and wanted something fresh on my baby. i was extremely happy with the quality of the work of the paint and service. when i picked up my car it was clean how i brought it to them. that just shows they deliver great product and no wounder it took 6 weeks to get a appointment!. only flaw was that my car smelled like paint for a week and had to get it DE sanitized because the ac system was blowing a weird smell. i will recommend this business. thanks jj autoworks honolulu.csm john brown pac rim
