While in the store we gave our cell phone number and was told that we would be called when a salesperson could help us. An hour later we still had not received a call yet we were sure other customers were going ahead of us. Finally my wife got the attention of a sales person behind her desk and the sales lady said Oh, I thought you were being helped. Duh!!!!! Eventually we were able to purchase a wine cooler after having been in the store for two hours. Sub standard service by any standard.It was clear to us that the left hand didnt know what the right hand was doing. Not only that they were apathetic about the whole thing. Kind of like, Oh well, these things happen in a big operation. Best Buy has good merchandise; unfortunately they do not have good service to match their good merchandise.

There was one salesman in the printer section, so I waited for about ten minutes while he was helping a woman and then walked up to him with an “I need help” look on my face. He said “can you give me a minute” and then walked across the store to seek out another customer (who I guess was also waiting). After ten minutes, I went to the front of the store and asked if anyone else was available. The rep said she would try to find someone and ten minutes later came back and told me everyone was busy. I told her I knew what printer I wanted. She then looked it up and told me it was out of stock but they could order it and it would take a week. I said, I could do that myself. Seriously, what is the point of that store.

Dont have many electronics stores on island. Great thing about BB is to go online and see if the items are in stock, then go down and check it out. Surprisingly there prices are often better than the big Amazon

Out of stock for a conversion cable. Found a more expensive substitute locked in a case $50. Strange there were other smaller much more expensive items not locked up. When I finally found a staff member he did not have a key. He was very polite however, tracked down the key and got me on my way.

We went in 30mins or so before closing and ended up staying til closing time (Due to lots of questions and browsing.) The gentleman who helped us was very patient with us despite the store closing, and his shift being near done. Thats awesome customer service!

Not bad, pretty large, unfortunately they dont quite have a large selection of car stereos, but they know this. Alpine, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, and Boss, there may be a brand not listed here. Very open, people were helpful, and kind.

If you are buying something from the hono store, then its best to go in and pick it up your self or use the curbside. Because the floor folks are fantastic vs the in-store pick up folks. The Aiea location placed an order for a surround sound reciver for me to pick up at the hono location because Aiea was out of stock. When I arrived for collection, the pick up consultant was extremely rude to me. He acted like my business was an inconvenience to him. He also talked bad about the other best buy location which I thought was extreamly unprofessional. He had basically said not to trust the other location because they are liars. I wont be sharing his name or his description because times are tough and id hate to see some one lose their job. However, that is not the type of service that I expect from Best Buy.

I had the most frustrating problem with my Phone service provider.A new phone I bought couldnt access the internet. My service provider after being unable to help me would put me on hold and then hang up on me.David in the Phone department at Best buy iwalei went through it with me and Straight all hung up on him too?!?Not excepting defeat as an option and about an hour was able to get inside my phone and correct the problem Straight Talk wireless couldnt.Thank you Best buy!And thank you David..you are the man!!🤙

I regret buying anything from Best Buy. I bought a washer & dryer from them in April 2020 and it broke 3 times before they took the dryer back. Then the washer and dryer they replaced them with broke the first day we had it. I then had to complain to get them to get another set delivered. Still waiting for that to happen but at least I have my broken set still. Their 800# wont connect to the store so I had to go in. Zander was very helpful, but felt like I was misled by the other person that helped me. They act like they did me a favor by exchanging the washer and dryer for a brand that was on sale. My time was not worth much to them. Still waiting for the delivery.

Best Buy? More like worst buy. I purchased an exercise bike November 5 from their website. I also purchased extended warranty, delivery, and installation (aka spent a lot of money). Delivery dates kept being scheduled and rescheduled due to still waiting on the product to arrive. On November 30 after several delivery reschedules, I ask for a price match since the product was on sale for $200 less than when I paid. They approved and said it would go back to the account I used to make the purchase. As of today I have yet to see the $200. Delivery was scheduled for today between 0700-1300. I got the confirmation call, text, and email. I checked again this morning and even had my driver’s name. At 1230 I hadn’t heard from the driver or Best Buy and needed to get ready to head to work so I called and asked for an ETA. They said they would get in contact with the driver and call me right back. At 1305 I called back after not hearing from them. (I leave for work between 1315-1330.) I was told the driver was running behind but would be there within 30 minutes. My dad thankfully was able to come to the house to receive the delivery. After 45 minutes and still not getting a call, I called back again. This time I was transferred to multiple people, hung up on, and started the process all over again. I was told the delivery would need to be rescheduled. Why? Why didn’t anybody call me to tell me this? Why am I the one having to keep calling to figure out where my product is? Nobody can seem to figure out answers and it’s beyond frustrating. I really had higher expectations from a company as big and well known as Best Buy. I hope they will make things right.

I thought getting the glass repair was covered but they ended up making a request for a new phone and charging me a $20.00 deductable which wasnt told to me when i bought the insurance. Service was good and fast and they had sanitizer bottles all over the place and dividers between registers.

I purchased a GoPro 20 days ago. Unfortunately after the first use I noticed it was fogging behind the screen. I headed into the store and figured I could return the item and just purchase a new one. Nope! Im over the 15 day return window, but they are happy to send me over to geek squad for a fee. Why would I want to get a brand new product fixed? Shouldnt it work when you purchase it? Also, sometimes with action cameras you wont notice something right away. I got the camera home and set it up fine, and then after my fist use I noticed the fogging issue. Also, there is a pandemic going on, I really try to limit the amount of times I go out.Update: I also reached out through chat to see if maybe they could help me, and nope same answer. They dont stand behind their products. Also the second image is just funny. The agent forgot to add in my issue and also transferred me over to himself, lol

Curbside pickup 40 minute wait, had to enter the store just to be told no one was working the curbside deliveries. No sense of urgency to resolve the issueStaff was overwhelmed yet no reason to be as rude as they were, telling us to wait in line in doors. Covid is real... dont offer curbside pick up if you cant assign someone to deliver items... curb side. Us and other cars waiting had other options to shop.

I was talkin to the Samsung wireless phone representative oh, and he was very nice and talked me into getting a S21 Ultra phone hi. It didnt have it in stock so Im going to have to wait for it. Tried to call Verizon Im scheduling an appointment with them tomorrow but was very disappointed in there app. Was not able to make an appointment they say they were open till 4 and I called at 1 and they were closed. There is some problems in Verizon. They do think theyre Gods gift to us humans.

Samsung TV purchase, you cant make this up...I normally dont like to rant on online however, I feel like #bestbuy really screwed me over on this one... this is the post I sent them...So, I bought a Samsung QN800a during a flash sell they had on fathers day. The cost was $5500. It was delivered on the 8th. 3 days later it developed a large dark spot in the screen. I was offered exchange or refund options. I chose exchange but, the model was not available here so they offered me a different model. I did NOT accept that model because it was an inferior model (it was only 4K). The only other model they had that was available was the next step up QN900a. The agent I was working with (Randy) said that was fine and they could do that with no extra cost to me because it was an exchange. While he was scheduling the delivery and pick up, I was suddenly shift to a new agent (Agent Asher) who told me that the balance I had to pay was almost 2900 bucks. I asked him why there was a change and he said that they werent going to comp the difference. So, after almost 3 hours on the chat, I couldnt get another tv and got the run around. Now here I am (after all the holiday sells are now over and the prices are back up) with no new tv after they tried to low ball me on the exchange. Best Buy really did a bad job on this one and, as the cherry on top, they didnt display the review I left on the tv review site... Very sketchy. Also, I went back to speak to the store and found out that they DO have these TVs here.... but, they wouldnt exchange it because the sale was over. Poor customer service.

Best Buy has got it all for sure. We browsed right before Christmas and it felt like a maze of electronics and appliances. Yes you can get some of the products cheaper some place else or online. But sometimes it is nice to see what you are buying before hand and not have to worry about returning it. I saw some items I didnt even know existed so I will be back, post holidays, post pandemic. It was rather crowded, with a long line. I attribute that to the holidays although the crowd made it difficult to social distance so keep that in mind. We were in and out (minus the line) and the line moved really quick. Finding someone to help us find what we needed took a little longer than expected though which was also probably due to the crowd. All in all I will go back for sure.

Nice selection of in-stock items. I usually find out if what I want is currently available at the local store online before I drive down and grab it. Ive had mixed results with their buy online, pick up in store arrangement; twice its gone off perfectly well but the one time it didnt I was waiting almost four hours in the store to figure out where my item was and what had happened. On the other hand they did bend over backwards to make it right: I ended up with a newer, better laptop than Id originally ordered, and for $75 less than id expected to pay. This location also has a womens bathroom that never had a line and stays pretty clean, which is always terrific.

I know in person electronic stores are a dying breed, but I appreciate having a place you can go in person to ask questions and get answers from knowledgeable people. LOVE their recycling program. You can take things in you didnt even buy from best buy, to avoid them going to our landfill on island. Ive been in to buy a TV, multiple laptops, drone and accessories, go pro, nest cam, Google hub max, remote lighting, gifts...its my favorite spot. Thank you to all the staff there!

Excellent products but hard to get any help. I needed a case unlocked, they paged someone to the isle I was on, waited and waited, then went to the desk by the entrance and got someone myself. If not for the slow/bad customer service there would be five stars.
