Awesome experience of outstanding friendly and efficient customer service!!! I was route to an international destination, when I realized I could not see anything out of my right eye. Without hesitation, Dr. Hopper and Paula worked with me, and my out of state Vision Works office and saved the day. It turned out that my Vision Works location had given me the wrong prescription strength lenses. Dr. Hopper and Paula even suggested and gave me an extra pair of lenses just in case of any unforeseen circumstances. My deepest health felt gratitude, and most sincere appreciation for the kindness and thoughtfulness expressed to me by both Dr. Hopper and Paula; and the staff at the Vision Works Homestead location!!! They are definitely assets to the Vision Works Company.

Very professional and quiet place, since it is right by US1 I thought it would be more hectic, but I was walked right in to fill out the first timers paperwork and started with my eye exam not 5 minutes later. The doctor was very patient with me since I had a lot of questions and explained everything she was doing in detail. All in all it took me about 30 minutes from when I walked in! The variety they had for glasses is good too, I was able to pick mines in under 5 minutes since they have it very organized. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family!

It was really a pleasant experience!! Very fast wait time for a walk in and the Dr was very friendly and made the whole thing go super easy, def recommend if you want to try a new place with a ton of selection to choose from.

They have # of employee limits, doctors reviewing files and making notes. Please be patient!☺

Just picked up my glasses and they honored me one minute before closing which was so nice since I’ve been in traffic and it’s been difficult to make it down south by 6pm. Regardless, the gentleman checked everything while I waited outside since they were closed and checked that my kids glasses were good and all the inspection details they do. Thankyou for understanding my urgency after a week of not making it here in time. Very much appreciated.As far as the service, the actual doctor- “Dr. Susan Hopper, O.D.P.A.“ that performs the eye exams in my opinion is the best one I’ve had in my life besides Dr. Simon from Baptist who only does specialty type care. Dr. Susan Hopper was very thorough with my girls and super patient with my 15 year old who is Autistic and having trouble with what to expect etc. The doctor examined both of my daughters twice and My oldest a third time to get it just right. We did the extra exams which are highly recommended.As far as the Doctor’s staff- they were super accommodating and profesional and even called ahead to confirm and remind us of the appointment. Even though I underbooked and didn’t have one of my girls confirmed due to a technical issue with the online appointments system that sometimes does duplicate appointments, she still honored all of us. The receptionist was warm and friendly and understanding. I felt very comfortable and safe.The staff from the store that sold the frames were also beyond exceptional in service. I’m not sure if this is a Homestead type hospitality since I come from Kendall but they were so nice and patient. We pulled out over 60 pairs of glasses and only bought three and they had to clean and sanitize everything we Touched. We didn’t get any crazy Miami vibes or look of death from anyone lol. They also helped with the choice for the kids and what looked good etc. They recommended the perfect set up as well as the treatment for glare etc .Overall the experience was exceptional and the promotion of buy one get one was also a treat. I visited the Visionworks at Homestead, FL. I’ve been using glasses all my life and this store has the best service. Very kind and professionalism from all the staff. Love the quality of the service and the products, I bought both glasses and contacts. Kassandra helped me out through out my process (I haven’t use contacts in many years), so I had to return to the store and call many times for different reasons. Kassandra had to deal with me everytime (since the beginning of this year). She has been very supportive, polite, helpful, patient and understanding. Her service was so great that I’m taking my time to write this review, and this is the first time I do this. So happy that I came to this store, and will continue to do it along with my family.

My family has been clients of vission works for several years. We were satisfied customers, but the attention at Homestead has not been good. The optometrist was very good and the attention of the day we ordered the glasses was good too, but they gave me the glasses in a soft cover that does not match the brand of the glasses. They also didnt give me the cloth for clean. They say they dont have. An incomplete service for the price

We had to send back our glasses twice (this year, same problem last year) Ten days ago when I picked my sons glasses up the frame was defective, today the prescription was wrong! Now another 10 days to wait. Also having the salesperson giving me attitude while dealing with this!! Last time Im using Visionworks.

Been waiting an hour for a scheduled appointment. Everyone has been waiting the same time. They only have 1 person in the front and 1 with the doctor and the phone is ringing off the hook with no one to answer, which is super loud and annoying. Last time I came they tried to overcharge me. Not a good experience.

I called into the store to request appointments for myself and my wife. I got appointments for the 25 or 26 of June setup. I then receive an email telling me the appointments are unavailable. How can this be when I called to get an appointment, not using the website to request one. This is totally unacceptable. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, they will setup an appointment for you then turn around and tell you that the time they set it up for is unavailable.

Kassandra is the coolest person ever!! Hooke you up with the newest glasses and tells you honestly what looks good or bad on you. She is the best friend to have at vison works!! Made my day perfect. Im very happy that I had the opportunity to have Kassandra as my eye wear specialist!

The young od tech Ashley Q acted kindly and professionally from her greeting me n leading me to sign in, to her reminding me before I leave to set up a next year appt. As for the doctor, she is incredible! I felt cared for and educated entirely about the health of my eyes and about my prescription. This visionworks was a pleasure. I needed new contacts and I didnt have a prescription. Everyone was so helpful and they had me on my way with my contacts super quick. Carmen was especially attentive. Would definitely recommend.

I went in with my only pair of glasses in pretty bad shape. A young lady there was nice enough to fix them for me so I could wear them, even though I did not buy them there. I am retired do not have to much money to spend on good glasses. Lissette was nice enough to tell me about an upcoming deal where I can get 2 pairs of glasses for a very low price. She told me everybody needs more than one pair of glasses and she is totally right. I will keep returning to this Visionworks because of how great I am treated no matter what I go for.

I went to vision works last week for the first time and needless to say it was an overall great experience! Very clean store and friendly staff. Awful customer service. Been coming for years, one of my pairs of frame was broken, I come in with another frame and asked her if she can change them..she said she couldnt, I asked if we can search for one in the store.. we looked around, and she grabs one that cost $100, and leg seemed almost broken, she said shed give 25% off. I went to my car and went online and saw that the same pair was only $59.99 and I was charged $75.00. I went back inside and I let her know about this and she said online is different I made a comment that its better for me then to buy online and she shrugs her shoulders and says thats up to me...HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. Way to overpriced and cant seem to help anyone!

I have been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes, and Dr. Hopper, Carmen, Cassandra and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help.

The staff at this location was extremely friendly and handled what I needed in the best way as possible.

Sent my 18 yr old daughter there for initial contact/glasses exam as well as a follow-up appointment. I waited for her to finish followup before giving review. Lets face some kids are quiet and shy and not going to complain or ask for too much but as soon as she left she knew the prescription they wanted her to use was far too weak for her eyes by more than 1 diopter and my daughter said she tried to tell the Dr but he/she wasnt really paying attention and fairly distracted. I told her to make sure she brings it up during the followup because heck we paid $150 for this. She did bring it up and the Dr did up her prescription by 1 diopter and dialated her eyes for her very first time... She arrived home after driving and basically says Dad i cant see anything and i could barely drive because it was so bright.... They didnt warn her, they didnt offer her any sun protection or reversal drops... They just let her drive and she doesnt have any sun glasses. Again she never knew what to expect as she never had them dialated... Ive been wearing glasses/contacts for about 40 years now and luckily had only 1 or 2 bad experiences... but a $150 for 15 minutes of actual work by the optometrist a patient deserves more.
