I’ve decided to order breakfast based on all the wonderful reviews. I ordered the beef empanada, puff pastry beef, the Belgian chocolate bun, and cafe’ latte. Wow!!! When my order arrived, I was surprised that I didn’t have to warm it up. Food was fresh, great temperature and the latte was amazing. Also I would like say thank you to the staff member who left the thank you on my pastry bag. This says that they love and enjoy what they do for your business, which is providing that above and beyond customer experience. Keep up the great service and I will be ordering again.

I was a regular customer and always ordered 2 coffees(1 latte with half&half and 1 regular latte) and a pastry, so I usually left there around $11-14. But this time I came to order my regular drinks I’ve been told that they can’t make latte with half&half: “the owner doesn’t let us do latte with half&half anymore because it takes half of gallon”. Why don’t just charge $1 extra for this unusual kind of milk? lolAll the coffee shops in the neighborhood have options to substitute regular milk for half&half. So I simply crossed the street and ordered my drinks in different coffee shop.

Great place, I eat a beef puff and apple crown pastry with pumpkin spice latte and everything was delicious. Pastries were fresh and savory and latte foam was on pint. Also, place is very clean and organized. Definitely I’ll come back. It will perfect if they have coconut milk next time.

My girlfriend and I had coffee and pastries here yesterday morning. What a relaxed, inviting environment! Such a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the pastry selection is outstanding. II would recommend that they keep in stock some basic tea types rather than just fancy flavored tea (such as Earl Grey, English Breakfast, etc).

Great interior design, friendly customer service and decent food. However, if you want to sustain nordic spirit and culture why not shift away from disposable cups and plates? It makes absolutely no sense.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would ! Just had a order delivered from door dash and let me say how delicious everything was! Plus they gave me a free frappe being that I couldn’t receive my cream danish which I totally don’t mind because the food and coffee was outstanding! I dont understand their concept of relocating or opening a bigger place. When they dont have most of the items on the menu availabile. This used to be such a nice establishment for breakfast. I didnt mind driving from plantation because it was worth it. However, now its a waste if gas unless your just looking for coffee youll be disappointed

My daughter and I had the chocolate croissant and lemon cheesecake pastries. Both were yummy but the croissant was top level delicious!!

I just had the most delicious buttery croissant just out of the oven baked to the perfect crispness. I also ordered a latte and was pleasantly surprised, but the croissant was definitely the star of the show!Definitely recommend!

Good choice. Picked up a few items for breakfast today. My grandmother who is finicky liked everything she had. I thought everything was pretty decent too. I had the salmon croissant and the chocolate one. Be warned, that chocolate one is big!

Super nice people, excellent location and great place to meet for now. Here’s the thing, it’s not a bakery or a coffee house. Why is that important?Overtime, I have noticed a business trend; “proximity marketing and partial offerings” usually as a result of “business decisions”. A business opens up, and you get the sense early on, that they are not there to provide the “genuine product/service”, but something close. Which is fine, if what you are, is what you say you are, and not they other way around. Some may not care but others wil.I really want to see Nordic flourish and become a main stay in its “new location”. But in my unsolicited opinion, I am afraid it may not, man I hope I am wrong.I long for a bakery where things are being baked, and coffee house where coffee is being brewed. You know this when you enter in the morning and the air is filled with the aroma and artistry of baked goods and brewed beverages, it’s amazing!!! I drive 20 minutes to Fort Lauderdale every week for that experiences. Luke warm coffee and commercial baked goods( my opinion), doesn’t get it.The motivation for my comments/opinion/ experience is a great desire for a real bakery and coffee house in our neighborhood. A great place for the community to meet, support and help towards being a thriving business. A place where there’re several things that are inviting and excellent about the joint. That’s the opportunity, I am afraid, that may be missed. Over the years I have seen too many businesses come close then fade away. We don’t need another “Starbucks Like”Nordic has all the right pieces and they are on their way, but they need to differentiate themself by either raising the bar, or remove Bakery and Coffee House from their name. My opinion of course.

Its on the corner, near my house, which makes it convenient. The coffee is good, the service is good and the people are friendly. Nice neighborhood coffee spot.

Came in to get some pastries to take to the office. Snatched a box of Danish pastries and some coffee. I had a cinnamon swirl which literally melted in my mouth and, black coffee to go with it. Simple decor and great treats!

This quaint cafe sports the best pastries and coffee in town! These guys have been around for some time on Tyler street but I love the new location in the old Starbucks mostly cause I live there :). Coffee served in mugs when you it in, which For me is huge. Coffee tastes so much better when it’s not in a paper cup or plastic mug. Wouldn’t you agree ?Nice staff (so far) this place is more about quality and less about quantity. If you have a favorite pastry, don’t expect it to be there waiting for you all day. Remember, this isn’t Starbucks #microave.

Wonderful place, clean simplicity of Scandinavia interior.. enjoyed pastries strait from the oven just as she was placing glaze on top. Good cappuccino with solid espresso. Milk alternatives available. Uncrowded and warmly inviting.

Nice little shop with good coffee and a friendly owner. I like that not everything is overly sweet. I really enjoy the wheat buns which are subtly sweet and great plain or topped with peanut butter or jam. The whole wheat rolls topped with seeds are more savory and very good too. They have a great flaky croissant-like dough. Im looking forward to more seating in the new location, hopefully with some shaded outdoor options.

First time eating in this bakery and its all good and fresh

Simple, pleasant shop! Espresso was just what I needed, and the (award winning) pastries are delicioso!!! I grew up in Europe, so fun to spend some time reading in this cozy spot off Hollywood Ave.

I entered the bakery at 9am. They seemed out of the few items they place in the front. But it’s only 9am on a Sunday, so maybe they have more in the back. There are 3 people in front of me and two attendants. The service is very slow. It’s now 15 min and a couple walks in and stand behind me. The attendant looks at them and says “sorry for the delay, I’ll be right with you”... but yet never made eye contact with me, and never apologized or gave me the opportunity to ask if there were more baked goods in the back. It’s now 25 min. I only stayed in line because I promised my daughter I’d be bringing baked goods. The couple behind me, that received the attendants acknowledgement and apology, has now walked out because of the slowness. It’s finally my turn and I’m told the only items left are those few I see.How does a bakery run out of stock before 9am? It’s because they only bake a few items and don’t keep baking! I will never step foot in here again! Don’t waste your time!

Homey place, delicious coffee, amazing pastries. They make u feel right at home!

The place is great. Just opened up from down the street. Perhaps a few months ago. I just started going there. And the coffee is wonderful. But unfortunately today I see people coming in without masks. This is unfortunate it’s moronic and they should have a sign that says no mask no service. I’m 75 years old and I won’t be coming there much longer if they permit people to come in without mask, which is disrespectful to other people. Thanks.OK, an update: so I had also sent an email to them, and Runar immediately responded, within an hour, by email with the identical sense of outrage that I had over the situation, saying that of course, wearing masks was required in the store except for when actually eating and drinking. She told me that a sign will be put up on each door immediately saying no mask no service. I am very grateful for her quick response. Wearing a mask in a pandemic is no different than obeying stop signs and red lights. It’s about public safety. And that’s all.

VERY DISAPPOINTING !!!!!!Been going for the last couple of months to try and support a small local business but it is run so poorly I can no longer go there.Today a couple ordered two speciality coffees and it took both employees 10 minutes to make them, meanwhile the other customers wait in line or just walk out. They are alway short on products even though they just opened. Sad because the pastries are great.The owner needs to be on hand to manage the place or they wontbe in business very long.

This is a great breakfast option if you find yourself in the Hollywood,FL downtown area. Pastries taste really good as well as the coffee. The only reason I don’t give a 5 star rating is because I think this place has a lot of potential in terms of decoration and ambiance, which would make the overall experience even better.I will be returning here in 2020, and probably for several times.

Few and far between are you able to call something absolutely perfect. Of course Perfection is subjective... However I must say they have absolutely achieved perfection with their spinach breakfast croissant. if you have not checked out this delightful little pastry shop you need to! They have a really good chai tea as well!

Unfortunately they are always short on stock. Today I was there at 9:10 AM and they are already out of the pastry I enjoy the most and this is the second time this week this has happened. I was there even earlier previously. The food is delicious and I understand made from scratch.I have spoken to two of the employees there and it doesnt seem to make a difference to the owners. They need more inventory. To be short so early and even on the weekends, what can be expected? There is no supervision by the owners and it is a shame because this place is a great addition to Hollywood. Unfortunately this is why places go out of business. People complain that it is the city, it is the supervision of the owners that do not pay attention. Most of the time this restaurant is low in stock and also out of stock completely. More preparation is necessary.

Charm, lots of charm. Coffee was great, with fresh pastry straight from Denmark baked every morning. Everything was delicious and most things available in a mini. If youre in the area its totally worth a stop. Street park seems to be the only option, however its a place we would stop in again if were in the area. The young lady working was a delight.

Quality and sincerity. That sums up this wonderful jewel. It is elegant and everything offered it is of the highest quality. Priscilla is so sincere and kind and you feel very special when she is serving you. Its just the kind of place that you know is always going to look out for the customer first. All of the employees I have encountered are kind and also very efficient. Sometimes you pop in for a coffee and a pastry and youre heading to work and you do not want unnecessary delays. They know that and fill your order as quickly as you could wish. Small businesses need more love in an our franchise and corporate driven world. Lets show love to the ones that have such high quality standards because we are not only supporting that particular business but we are supporting human beings that live in our communities.

I mean if you want 3 choices of stuff that looks like its been out for a year or so this is your spot. Truly disappointed. Place was empty, coffee grinds all of the counter. Their website and Instagram looks like a 5 star place. 45 minute drive for nothing!

Amazing cheese danishes and almond croissants! Im not a huge fan of things that are overly sweet, but their other pastries are very delicious as well. But the cheese danish is really out of this world; the cheese is a phenomenal contrast to the buttery, flaky pastry. And the almond croissant is filled with an amazing almond paste.Service is also really nice, just check your receipt because Ive sometimes been charged more for certain pastries by accident.

Drove 2hr to find out they close at 3pm (a paper on the door saying til further notice) and not 6pm as it says on google or on their website. Really annoying. I couldve called yes but trusting that they keep their information up to date as Ive heard only good things about this place. Also saw a local couple right after us and they tried to go there as well.

Just the most amazing bakery in Miami! I was looking for an authentic European bakery for years and didnt even know it existed around my corner. Will be my new favorite breakfast place. The dough is imported from Belgium and the pastries are made fresh every day. They actually open at 7 during the week which is a huge plus. Can definitely recommend to anyone in the neighborhood!!!! :)UPDATE SINCE NEW LOCATION:Service has changed a lot unfortunately not for the better. You used to be able to call ahead and they were able to make your croissant within 15min. Now they don’t even offer that anymore since they need to “proof” everything, which also makes the croissants too crunchy. I mean come on, you are literally just reheating frozen imported goods it shouldn’t be that hard to just pop a croissant in the oven and let me wait. Instead you are loosing lots and lots of customers especially on the weekend. It’s a shame.

This was a nice little hole in the wall with amazing coffee and pastries. The only comment I would make that I wasn’t too happy about was the limited seating indoors and outdoors. My friend and I had to eat by our cars because we did not have anywhere to sit. Overall, coffee was yummy and the lady at the counter who served us was nice!

Maybe I went on a bad day or time, but this is NOT authentic Danish pastry. I have eaten wienerbroed from many Danish bakeries and this isnt even close. Fillings are decent, but the dough itself is just wrong. Not flaky, not melt-in-your-mouth buttery, tastes more like a Marriott-catered breakfast pastry. Major bummer.

On the pricey side but delicious! We spend $50 on several almond croissants, a cappuccino and two sandwiches! 😆 Can’t wait for them to open their new store at Coral Springs!👍🏼

Great place!Customer service is very personal, the pastries are always on point. My favorite the spinach and cheese pastries, absolutely love them, the texture is absolutely perfect as well as the flavor, even the amount of salt is just perfect. Be sure to also try the chocolate croissant they are to die for.If you go in on a Sunday they offer you a free bun Sunday Bun Day promo. They also offer free wifi, the password is on the bar facing the window!

I didnt eat here just walked in around noon on a Sunday. There were a few pastries but nothing exciting, only one sandwich on the menu but was not available. Really small place with limited street side parking and paid parking lot across street.

5 star find in the middle of a street that was otherwise empty on a Sunday morning. The cheese plait was wonderful and the coffee was nice. Quick, friendly service.

This is a small place with great service. Ive had several of their pastries and panninis, all of them fresh and good quality. The barista recommended a caramel iced latte type of coffee which was excellent. Very quaint and quiet atmosphere. A box of these pastries also makes a great last minute gift.

We dined there one night for a crepe. It was so good that we ordered seconds. The following day we went for breakfast.. I assure you it was awesome. The French toast was one of the highlights on our trip. The staff is very friendly and outgoing.

I just had the most delicious spinach and feta danish. Flaky, buttery and light filled or I should say stuffed with an ample amount of spinach and feta. The coffee is also excellent. Made my morning.

Ive been in the US for 10 days with work and this is definitely the best coffee Ive had whilst here! The coffee in Hollywood beach took forever and was sub-par for sure, so I lyft-ed over to this random spot in search of good food and a caffeine hit. And it was SO worth it!! Im currently sitting in the window, enjoying a strong coffee (on soy milk, which nowhere else seems to have?) with a delicious light-as-air savoury croissant (and Ill be having the maple pecan one in a moment too). Moreover Diana was an absolute delight! Such a great find away from the tourist-y junk on the beach :)

This place continues to surprise me , the corssiaints are the best around , the service and coffee continue to deliver and its small location make it feel cozy. The young lady in the front makes you feel welcomed and knows about her countrys (danish) main dishes which is always a plus when walking into something you may not know about. The only thing I would say is that the best time to come over is early in the morning the baked goods go fast !!!

This place made my day! My car broke down right in front of this shop and as if my day couldnt be more disappointing than spending more money on my car-I went inside the bakery and ordered a vanilla almond latte and must say the lady made it with love. I am a coffee enthusiast and this spot had what I needed to turn around my frown. None of the customers before me had to add cream or sweetener to their drink and when I got mine it came as a surprise that it was perfect how I like it :)

Needed some coffee early sunday AM! This shop was the only one within walking distance thats open, and the pastries were the first thing i notice. Excited about the sweets i almost walked out without my coffee. Inviting modern store front will definitely be back.
