This is a 2 person operation, Dr Wilkemeyer and Kelly. Kelly is rude! She obviously has worked with the doctor for a long time where punishment is nonexistent. They do have a good selection of glasses to select, but don’t most eye establishments? Look a little further and find a more welcoming place.

Our family of 5 have all been seeing Dr. Wilkemeyer for years. He and Kelly have been taking great care of us and are very professional. They also wear the protective face coverings & gloves during this difficult time. At the spur of the moment my 90-year-old father-in-law sat on his glasses and broke them. I brought them in late on a Friday afternoon and Kelly pulled out her tools and happily fixed for free. I highly recommend this practice and am very grateful for Avenue Eyecare!

O.D. lacks bedside manner and isn’t very thorough, assistant is abrupt and rude over the phone, equipment technology is subpar. Decent selection of frames, and the assistant is good at fitting.

Dr. Wilkemeyer has taken care of me and my kids. He’s knowledgeable and attentive. He showed me the latest in contacts lens and has a showroom of the current frames. And check out the vintage furniture in his office space!
