Helpful and friendly staff. TWO skilled gunsmiths in house. Very pleased with the work theyve done on my rifles so far.

I had a new front sight installed on my Sig. Fairly simple chore but it was done well and then adjusted ever so slightly when I asked for it to favor one side by a couple of hair widths. I’m a perfectionist and I enjoyed watching another perfectionist not argue about my OCD and just do it. 😂 Ryan is a good guy. I wish him luck.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the work that Ryan and the team at standard arms did on my 1911. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Everything was done faster than anticipated and Ryan’s pricing is great. Very happy to know a well rounded and dependable gunsmith after having issues with a business I had previously used.

Awesome shop, awesome people. Super friendly and welcoming, I would say the cleanest gun shop I’ve been in. As licensed gun manufacturers the customization options are endless and the work that they do is beautiful. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Great experience! Received my modified 9mm back in a timely manner and at a pretty darn good price. It’s the only gunsmith I know of here in Columbus, so the fact that it was within close proximity to me made it even easier. Thinking about bringing a couple more guns back...or maybe buying a gun for my wife. Either way I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Had a couple old guns I inherited. A .22 from the thirties and a 30.06 from the 50s. I was moving into a temp apartment and lost my bench until we get into a house again. So I dropped them off at Standard Arms for a clean up. I tell you they came back beautiful. The metal and wood. Wood has a sheen again, they look great. And while picking them up Nikko, (?spelling) the gunsmith taught me all about the history of my 30.06. Turns out it is a sportorized Mauser. Showed me how the Germans serialized every part so when the soldiers put theirs back together all of their part had the same serial number. Very knowledgable, helpful and great people. Glad Hilliard gave them a home. My guns look so good I am thinking of beating up my newer ones and taking them in.

Decided to check out this shop for some gun work because of my brothers recommendation. I called multiple gun shops all around Columbus, only to find my simple problem would take many months to receive my gun back, because they had to mail it to a gunsmith. I almost went through with it until I stopped in to Standard Arms. The shop gunsmith/owner was super straightforward, honest, and polite while addressing my issues/concerns. He was so knowledgeable, that he had my gun fixed before I even thought it was going to be started on. My gun works flawlessly and its all thanks to him, I highly recommend to anyone looking! I was so satisfied I decided to splurge and leave with another gun to my collection! Long story short, if youre looking to SKIP those long hours of waiting in line just to look/buy another firearm, while waiting months just to have work done to your gun, this shop is the answer to your prayers!! 5 Stars, will DEFINITELY be going back!!

Awesome staff/owners! I found this place completely by accident and they saved my planned range day with a new rifle. I purchased some luepold scope rings for my new XPR from a big box store that came with the wrong screws; which I realized when attempting to mount the scope that evening. I was planning on going to the range the next day with my new rifle and was very disappointed. In desperation, I took a trip to Lowes (the only place still open) with the longshot hope of finding the correct screws. While driving through the parking lot, I by chance saw Standard Arms and decided to stop in. They were just closing but were extremely helpful, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable. The gave me the screws I needed (for free) and told me theyd alter them if I needed (again for free). The screws worked perfectly and I got my scope mounted that night and sighted in the next day at the range.Based on this experience, I will 100% bring them any of my gunsmithing needs that are beyond my capabilities and consider them a first-stop store whenever I need something firearm related.
