I called about getting accessories and was invited to come in and check things out. I went in and was greeted by 2 gentleman who really knew there stuff. They really took the time and energy to accommodate exactly what suited me. I had many questions about many things and they were very attentive and patient. Both were extremely helpful during the whole process guy even took out the sling and set it up and demonstrated exactly how it worked. I absolutely enjoyed the education and friendly conversation. I cannot say enough great things about this business. I had a great 1st experience and hope to have many more in the future.

Cap City is the place to go for firearms. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable, and they helped me attach my flashlight and optics, which was one less thing for me to worry about. They are a local business with good values, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a firearm.

Only used this place once for a transfer and will never go back. Their transfer fees were really high and then they charged me sales tax on top of that. You dont charge sales tax on transfer fees. Much better options in the area for FFL transfers.

Great store. Geared toward people into the tactical side of firearms. A lot of the things I buy online are stuff they stock. Counter guys were friendly and helpful. Great prices. I will definitely be back. They even have an Instagram!

The knowledge of the staff is second to none. Best part about this store (other than the high quality firearms) is the accessories in stock. Usually have to order this stuff off websites, but they most likely have it in stock.

I love this place. Anytime I have any extra money I go here to spend it. They have anything you could ever want as far as guns and survival gear. Chris and Bryan always have an answer to your question or if not will find you one. On saturdays they have donuts and coffee and I can convince my wife to go with me. They are the only gun shop in town the doesn’t talk down to my wife and realizes she hold the real power.

I just went there the other day and the first thing I noticed is that its a shooters store. The owner really puts his time into selecting the right firearms, accessories, and gear. The staff is knowledable and easy going. I love just being in the store even though my wifes opinion would differ. Great selection and great pricing. Chris and Jerrod have been awesome to work with. I just recently started purchasing firearms and they have been very knowledgeable, as well as courteous. They are not pushy salesmen, and can talk to anyone at every level. It is a small shop, but they carry almost all high-end guns, components, and hiking/camping equipment. I also like supporting local shops rather than going to Cabelas or Field and Stream. I will more than likely shop at Cap City Outfitters if they have the products I want to buy.

Went here from an ad at my gym. Cheaper ammo prices and firearm prices for semiautomatic firearms. Great customer service and a small town general store feel. Had affordable ammo prices for being such a small store. Well educated about all the stuff in their store and well stocked. Thank you for opening and giving more competition to the market.

I had an excellent time being there. The staff was very welcoming (which can be rare at a gun shop now-a-days) and patient. They were very relaxed and valued both their opinion as well as the customers. Not too sales pitchy at all. Allowed my girlfriend to easily purchase her first firearm and explain her choices to her.Good selection (variety) for a small shop. Not too daunting and over-whelming. But selection can always be improved. Its a small 2-man shop, so I wasnt expecting too much from the get go. I left pleasantly surprised on what they offered.I continue to recommend these guys to friends and family.Go give them a try and dont be afraid to ask questions.

This store is well put together, the guys who own the place are friendly and knowledgeable. Its rare to find a gun store that doesnt have the lighting and aesthetics of a converted garage while simultaneously providing excellent customer care. The selection is great and they carry brands most people actually buy(Geissele, Magpul, BCM, HOLOSUN, MFT, etc) compared to other bigger stores that only carry ebay brands and uncle mikes. Most importantly the prices are extremely fair, you can pick up a lot of the things they dont carry at larger gun stores that you can only find online, most items are priced similarly if not less than online retailers if you factor in shipping and/or FFL transfer fees. They had Aero Gen2 lowers among many others for $60!?! Thats the same price youd pay to get them during an online sale provided your FFL only charged you $15 and shipping was free.

I went to cap city today to just look and see what they had. Theyre probably the best gun shop in Columbus. They have every part you could want to build an AR at internet prices. Their ammo selection while small is very competively priced. One of the nice things is that they are focused on firearms with a small amount of outdoor stuff unlike Vance where you have to walk through 3/4ths of the store thats camping gear or clothing. His handgun and rifle prices are competitive unlike LEPD. He also had a nice selection of knives, there were a few ESEE knives which Ive never seen in a retail store only online. Its a little bit of a drive from clintonville but Ill be back.

CCO is a great addition to the Columbus market. I was actually referred there when another very popular LGS didnt have what I needed. Chris and Jared are both extremely knowledgable and very helpful with whatever issues or questions you have. This is a great LGS for your AR, Handguns, Concealed Carry, and much more. If youre looking for a HUGE selection in stock, they are on the smaller side but theyll let you know if they can or cant get it. Im not one to write reviews on places, but after the level of service I received multiple times there, I wanted to help spread the word about this place. Go check it out, you wont be disappointed.
