I am a newby runner and had no idea where to go for shoes. I saw this store has great reviews so I stopped in. Wow. This place is amazing. They do a 3d scan of your feet. They record a 10 second clip of you walking on a treadmill to see your stride. The 3d scan measured the arch and width of your feet. I had no idea this was even available!The employee was very helpful and got me into a great pair of shoes. I also got a hat and some sun glasses and socks here. I wore them all on my first run the other day and everything was amazing.They also have a membership where you can wear your shoes for 90 days, and if you dont like them, you can bring them back and exchange them for no cost. Just an awesome place.

Available services such as assessment of running style by slow-mo video, assessment of foot size & arches by 3D scan are excellent. Staff knowledge and customized proposal of appropriate shoe based on running style, preferences, and foot/ankle behavior/structure all are all excellent. Prices are relatively high, but I think this may be a case of getting what you pay for. Highly recommended!

The service at the Mill Run location is awesome! I can’t believe the amount of time they spent with me originally, making sure I had the right brand and style of shoe to fit my foot and gait. I love what they helped choose for me! Now I am able to walk long distances without issue. I love HOKA’s I am a fan for life and I don’t have to try on more shoes as I know exactly the right shoe for me! Their reward program is great and I have saved quite a bit of money using that as well. I highly recommend this place!

Came in to get a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 for my bad ankles. When I explained what I needed and why the Wonderful young woman that assisted me recommended a completely different shoe. The reason is the one’s I had planned to get would have tipped my ankle in the wrong direction. I ended up purchasing a pair of ASICS Gel-Cumulus 23.

First time getting assesed for running shoes and I was very happy with this experience. Running test, feet measurements, custom insole (and transparency about them), multiple recommendations. Trent was very knowledgable and gave me good advice and explained every step of the process. I ran twice in my new shoes and can definitely tell the improvement. Will definitely go back for my next pair of running shoes.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. The store was clean and organized. Gena was extremely friendly, attentive, and thorough in fitting me in my running shoes and explaining to me the purpose and results of everything she was doing. I feel very confident that my first pair of running shoes will be comfortable for me!

Generally pleased with my experience, Kurt was knowledgeable, helpful, and patiently helped find me the best fit. However, the custom orthotic pricing was not explained to me until mid way through the fitting process, when I asked about it, and it was a bit more than expected. Overall a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a new pair of well fit running shoes.

Greeted at the door acknowledge me said somebody will be there to help me shortly.I suggested hiking shoes they said because I am on my feet so long a running shoe would be better for me he also recommended that I wear these certain Hoka shoes. Which he recommends to nurses and doctors because they were on their feet so long. They have my size and the color I wanted it was like walking on air.

Friendly and knowledgeable help as always! And they always want to help you find what you need and don’t try to sell you more expensive shoes/gear than necessary. That is refreshing since it is not the case at most stores.

First time visiting Road Runner Sports. Stopped in to see if I could pick up a pair of my favorite Hoka’s. Met two of the nicest, customer oriented employees ever ! Jasmine took the time to review my wants and needs, and listened to what my “foot issues” were. After taking the time to measure and scan my feet, I find out that I am actually in an incorrect size, and have an arch support issue. Upon trying out some custom formed arch supports, I immediately experienced more comfort in my existing shoes (also a Hoka). Wore the inserts the rest of the day, and did not have foot pain that evening (which I always do).Jasmine - you’re awesome ! ( even though you DID talk me into those wild color Clifton’s ). Great place. Great products. Great people !

I have chronic foot issues that require custom orthotics and regular visits to a podiatrist. In addition, I have to be very careful in selection of my shoes. When I recently decided (actually, my wife told me I had decided) that I needed a new pair of casual shoes, I researched the running shoe stores in our area very carefully. Based on this research, I went to the Road Runner Sports store in nearby Hilliard, Ohio.Jeff met me inside the door, quizzed me politely but extensively on my foot issues, and did an extensive examination of my motion control and cushioning issues. I was surprised to find that my left foot was larger than my right foot, but my right foot was narrower than my left foot.Jeff brought out multiple pairs of shoes for me to try that he thought would meet my needs while accommodating my orthotics. He found me a pair that was incredibly comfortable and I walked out of the store wearing them.I seriously doubt that I will ever buy casual shoes from another store and I hope that Jeff will be available to help me with my purchases. The service and the products at this store were as good as I have ever seen.

Went to Road Runners big tent sale. First time buyer, nice selection and slightly used selection were marked down to $65. About half off. The pair I purchased look great. Or, buy 2 for $110. Jessie at the register was great, very cheerful and helpful.

Great selection of shoes. They didn’t have the odd size of a particular shoe that I wanted. However, the sales person was very patient and knowledgeable and found me a different brand and size that fits great.

Had new associate and he still was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products.

Store wasn’t too busy today. After finishing our 5k, I brought my wife in to check out another pair of shoes. Store staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. No pressure and checked in on us as we perused through the shoes in the Outlet section. I am a Brooks guy so I had her try on a pair of Ghost 14. While she liked them, she ended up with a great pair of HOKA. Overall good experience. Staff always courteous.

Professional fitting makes all of the difference here. They use a machine to measure your feet and to create a 3D image. They also have you walk/run on a treadmill to analyze your step and ankles. Doing all of this allows them to recommend the right shoes for your particular need. While they work with serious athletes and runners, their advice is just as valuable for a walker like me. The latest addition to their offering is custom made insoles that provide the right support for your particular application. They allow you to try them at no cost prior to making a purchase decision. For me, they were well worth the purchase price!

We went in never being there before, we met Larry and he was wonderful! We usually go to multiple stores trying on hundreds of shoes and leaving half satisfied more tired and ready to go home than actually happy with the shoe. This store was amazing and made sure we left happy and had highly satisfied! THANKS LARRY

I visited the Hilliard location and Jacob was so helpful! Before yesterday, I had never been properly fitted for shoes. I really didnt know what to expect and he completely put me at ease. He was super knowledgeable about the differences between the shoes and was super patient with me as I decided. I have never had a pair of shoes fit me so well and I couldnt be happier I shopped here. Thank you Road Runner, I will absolutely be back again and will be sharing my experience with others!

When we shopped there we were shopping for my husband and my daughter. We bought vip memberships and we were pushed to spend more money to get the upgraded package. We did so and we were told we have 80$ in money to spend the next time we came into the store. I went there yesterday to get spike track shoes for my daughter, and guess what?? Nope I only had 50$ not only that but the poor young associates working had to call customer service because the man working was with another customer and the other lady was on a phone call or on maternity leave (unsure so I don’t Want to quote them) It was NOT their problem to deal with. The receipt said we only cashed out about 200 odd dollars that day when really we walked out spending almost 400$ that day. This place is fraudulent and takes your money and they push you to spend money for a “VIP” program that supposedly gets you money off of shoes and merchandise. we didn’t get the money we were told we would and the receipts did not reflect what we spent. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. My husband ands shoes have not given him any more comfort than before he started! The 35$ socks we bought are ridiculous- and the track shoes we bought in the first place my daughter never wore once!! So basically we are out almost 500$ for a membership we were pushed to buy (because we were told it would be best for us to and we believed them)and awful customer service- you all should be ashamed of yourselves for what you do there!! The young kids that helped me when I came in were amazing and I felt sorry for them that they had to deal with this problem. I wonder how many messes they actually have to clean up-

Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the fitting process and various shoe types. I worked with 2 different employees and both had backgrounds in running and had experience with the shoes recommended and Road Runner’s insoles.

Im not normally one for negativity, and I hope this review shows that. Today I attended the tent sale here and I had a great time finding awesome shoes at a cheap price. In that category, RRS deserves a 5/5. However, once I picked out my two pairs of shoes and went inside to pay, I was confronted with an incredibly long line. While long lines that move quickly arent inherently problematic, what is problematic is the decision making which led to this long line, as I believe it was completely avoidable. The establishment chose to only run the two registers that they had. Im fine with them only having two registers, as Im sure that normally 2 is plenty. However, they very easily could have used the iPads that they had and square chips in order to checkout folks quicker. They had plenty of employees milling about the tents who could have helped checkout quicker. Another main decision made that slowed down the process is the companys infuriating need of personal information. When you have a line that has a wait time of ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES (which is how long I waited), the 3+ minutes of questioning and trying to get the customer to sign up for a rewards program really slows everything down. Finally, their system kept on crashing. Once I finally got to the counter to check out, I was standing there for 10 minutes (not an exaggeration) waiting for the system to reboot. The woman checking me out, Jasmine, was very kind and I felt very bad that she (and the other woman working) had to deal with this incredibly mismanaged system.In summation, I cannot recommend that you choose this store for your running needs. I will not be returning unless things change.

Bought my second pair of sneakers today and worked with Jake for a second time. He also helped my girlfriend get fitted and set up with a pair. The experience was beyond expectations! They do a video analysis of your walk on a treadmill to determine the level of ankle support your sneakers should provide. I am guessing they do the same for runners. The next step is a 3-d scan of your feet in socks. You won’t believe the detailed model of your feet the device can create in seconds having you just stand on a comfortable platform surrounded by sensors. They will offer you a free trial of custom molded orthotic inserts which are a little pricey should you buy them but if you have foot pain, would probably be worth the $75 or so price per pair. They have a club membership that costs around $40 annually that will pay for itself in discounts and cash back offers. The club also offers a 90 day trial and return policy on just about everything you buy from shoes and flip flops to sunglasses and clothing. The only thing you should be aware of is this membership will renew automatically an the anniversary date unless you cancel it. Totally worth it in my opinion with how much we saved on our purchases. The quality of the sneakers they sell is nothing short of extremely high. My Hokas have lasted me well into their 15th month and I wear them 5 days a week at work and then some! It’s a great place!

Even helped me problem solve some of the pain and issues I am having while working out at Orangetheory fitness. Highly recommend. I made an appointment online which I recommend as they are very busy at times.

I was checking out the mens running section for at least 20 minutes, no problem spending 150-200 on a pair of shoes. Thats the going rate for some quality kicks, I didnt get one ounce of attention, the rep on the mens side was too concerned trying to appease a cheap @$$ that had no idea what they were looking at. The customer kept asking about prices and clearance. Ill take my money to fleet feet. Sorely disappointed.

My husband and I have always had a great experience here but today was exceptional! Jessie was so efficient at getting us refit for our insoles and picking out new running shoes. She was very knowledgeable and attentive even though they were all busy. Go and ask for Jessie! You wont be disappointed

First time shopper at this location and place. I was greeted and the sales person was very knowledgeable and was not pushy by any means. Prices seemed to be about average or slightly below which is always a Plus. Some of the other accessories seemed a bit higher than other places. I would definitely recommend to anyone to at least stop in and shop here as a good alternative to some of the larger department stores.

I went in to this location because I had a gift card. Left less than impressed. The two people working really just stood behind the counter talking to one another which was fine because I didnt need assistance. However, when I asked if there was a restroom my little daughter could use the female working just said no and turned away. Noticing that I was a little dumbfounded at the lack of response, the guy then said they arent available right now. Now I get the whole corona situation but a little personality would have gone a long way. You would have a lot better experience overall at Columbus Running Company. To be honest, if I hadnt had a gift card I probably wouldnt have bought anything. In the running community Im accustomed to better personal experiences.

I was there for the tent sale and they only had 2 registers, the line was huge and took over 30 minutes to checkout. You know it’s going to be busy, why not set up more registers for the tent sale weekends? Everything else was great, will be back for sure, just need to plan accordingly for long lines.

Update: spoke with regional manager and after 2.5 hours and being hung up on by customer service, I was given a mediocre apology and my twelve dollars back. Cancelled my membership and will never shop here again. Original: Long time shopper and member. I am cancelling my membership and shopping elsewhere. Bought a pair of Glycerne 18s last weekend, clearance paid 115.64. Went back yesterday and bought the exact same shoe but this time charged me 149.94, clearance same shoe same spot on shelf. Told her the price was wrong and they were clearance. She told me it would adjust on checkout. It did not and when I received my digital receipt. Went back and argued she then lowered the price and gave me 24.49 back, and told me she took another 10% off. The difference in price was $34.78 but she only gave me $24.49 back. Finally gave up and left and. Very frustrating and disappointing to have to argue to get the right price
