Cakes are delicious! The BEST in town. I have at least 5 favorites. Atmosphere is friendly and it smells heavenly. The staff are very patient if youre having a difficult time deciding.

They have lots of great stuff. My wife comes her often for gift or antiques. They also have a bakery inside. They have handmade soaps, home decor, and furniture. They are visible from the road and have plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly.

If you want the most absolute best cake you have ever tasted then you must try the market bakery you can buy slices of every cake they make so far Ive had 9 or 10 different slices and every single one was absolutely over the top I recently bought an entire cake for my birthday that I brought back to my work for everybody to enjoy it was a lemon raspberry cake and everybody at work could not believe how good it was people were pulling out their phones to make sure they had the right place so they can go themselves keep up the great work you ladies are awesome PS the young lady with the 280 SLK stay on top of the maintenance and you will have a car that you will enjoy for many years to come cant wait to stop by and see you ladies again

All the cake slices I’ve tried are delicious. The cookies and pies are good as well. I do like the fact that they are local and I don’t have to drive all the way to Battleground or Wendover. I don’t mind paying for delicious baked goods but they are expensive for the portion size. Especially the pie slices. If you have a sweet craving and don’t feel like driving far this is your place.

I love this place. The cake smells so good but usually get a truffle. I got a black forest truffle and it was absolutely delicious, so rich and oh so bad for me. They have lots of things for sale too, mostly vintage and shabby chic. The prices arent bad either.

Always enjoy going to The Market! The merchandise is always changing and is good quality for the price. Unique pieces displayed with talent. Several pieces have come home with me. Visited their vendor event today. I will be visiting that again next month. As for the bakery, my daughter and I have tried 4 different cakes and all of them have been delicious! Its our goal to share a slice every weekend. Looking forward to our visit next weekend!

Beautiful! Nicely orchastrated... Finds that take you nostalgically back in time. Could and wanted to spend hours there. Tastefully supplied and Janice was welcoming. Bought napkins and handmade lotions and magnets for the fridge. It was pleasurable .....I will go back!Has baked goods too. Definitely 5 *

I had the best caramel cake I have ever eaten in my life there! They have an outdoor flea market every month. Check Facebook for times and dates.

Lovely local store with wide variety of home decor items; florals and amazing homemade baked goods! I visit each time I’m in High Point. I’ve tried the banana, Italian cream and carrot cake slices. Carrot is very moist, rich and flavorful. A local treasure!

This establishment is nothing if not unique. The Market proper features shelf upon shelf of local knick-knacks, many of which are surprisingly affordable. Getting around the aisles (such as they are) can be interesting during a busy time, but the place oozes retro charm. The same visual appeal extends to Dot & Pearl’s, as the bakery has a number of delectable-looking cakes, cookies, and truffles (all homemade) on display. The one thing that you will not find displayed here (or, if I overlooked it, displayed clearly) is a menu/price list. That and the layout (there was more of a huddle around the display cases than an orderly queue) made ordering a bit chaotic though the staff remained perfectly pleasant.For our first visit, my wife and I picked up a coffee drink and a cake slice apiece. Dot & Pearl’s sells FosterHobbs beans, which generally bodes well for the quality of their coffee offerings. However, the iced vanilla latte that I ordered barely had any vanilla flavoring. The cakes fared better though neither can compete with Amoroso’s offerings. The lemon berry cake had a good balance between tart and sweet, yet it was dry. The hot chocolate cake, on the other hand, was satisfyingly gooey and chocolatey although it bore little flavor resemblance to its namesake drink.I wouldn’t write off Dot & Pearl’s entirely, and the cake selection is commendable, but greater consistency can be found elsewhere.
