I ended up repairing my phone here after an ineffective and disappointing experience in the Apple store (I was lied to, told my phone couldn’t be fixed and that I’d ultimately need to replace it altogether). I was dubious, did research, and found IFixScreens on Google- their page listing charger port replacement. I immediately went over. The owner was friendly, down to earth, and didn’t give the vibe that he was selling anything other than his skill. He fixed my phone’s issue quickly and was transparent about the costs. He clear has a lot of integrity and I will definitely return should the need arrive. I highly recommend this repair shop with full confidence!!

Short version: GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION, THIS LOCATION IS CARELESS.I usually use a different location, but I travel a lot for work, so I could only make it to the Hicksville location. My charging port on my personal cell phone was not working. This had happened to me once before and I took it to a different location and they fixed it up good as new. I called the Hicksville location this time since I would be out there and asked for their hours. The man told me it would take 20 minutes to fix my phone and told me to come in any time. I was grateful, because I didnt have a lot of time that day. I came in about 45 minutes before closing and the associate told me I was cutting it close but he took my phone anyway. In a matter of less than two minutes he told me nothing was wrong with my phone and it was just because I wasnt using a Samsung charger. That did not seem likely to me since I have an Samsung as my work cell phone as well as my personal cell phone and only the personal cell phone was giving me trouble. But he took me to the back and showed me that what the phone looked like on the original Samsung charger, it appeared to be charging okay. While I was skeptical, I was desperate for my phone to be fixed. I need to charge my phone to use the GPS as I drive, so I purchased an original Samsung charger from him for almost $40. When I plugged the cable in to my car charger USB port (without the wall plug) it didnt fast charge... it slow charged (which was exactly what my replacement charger cable was doing) so the purchase was useless. I decided to purchase a wireless charger from another location and sure enough, it worked. But I figured at least it would be nice to have an extra charger with the wall plug. No, over the past few weeks the charger (with the wall plug) has been overheating in a matter of 15 minutes or less and not charging either of my phones correctly. I broke out an old, non-Samsung replacement charger and at least it charges my work cell phone like normal. So, not only did this guy not look closely enough at my phone to see that there was something wrong with my charging port, he also sold me a faulty charger. It is a hassle to go all the way back out to Hicksville to ask for my money back, especially since this sleazy guy might give me a hard time giving me my money back since he was willing to sell me a $40 charger instead of taking a good look at my phone and replacing the port for what he had said earlier over the phone would be $60. Ill just have to wait a few days and try to get myself in at my preferred location next time.

Absolutely fantastic experience at iFixScreens.Had a problem with the LCD panel of my iPad Pro and other repair shops either wanted to charge me as much as the iPad itself cost for the repair or needed at least a month to get the replacement part in.iFixScreens managed to get the replacement part in 3 business days and completed the repair in under 30 minutes. All at a very reasonable price.Very satisfied with the service provided to me.

I highly recommend coming to this location i have a note 9 that had cracked screen and cracked back i called around to other places they wanted to charge me literally an arm and a leg i call here not only did he have the color i needed but was the absolute best priced all around. I went to fix my iPad screen. After I brought it back, I found out one side of touch did not work. I called them and owner replace the screen. Now I found out screen was not aligned with front camera so I see dark part when I turn on camera. Owner is nice and friendly but not sure about quality of service.

I highly recommend this store, the assistance I received was very helpful and efficient and had the best competitive pricing. I realize this after I shopped around to at a number of different stores. Theres a healthy flow of customers in and out of the store. I was comfortable leaving my device there and was very grateful with how comfortable I felt speaking with the owner. They also follow covid mandated guidelines.

I walked in ifixscreens with white lines running down my iPhone display screen after I dropped it on the pavement. After the screen was repaired I realized that I couldn’t unlock my phone using facial recognition. The facial recognition was working fine before the repair. I walked back in and mentioned it to the phone technician. He said it was related to minimal GB space available on my phone and all I needed to do was factory reset it. I’m still baffled at his educated guess. Save your self time and money.

My iPhone 6S screen has been replaced within 10 minutes and its a very good and quick service. However, the display quality is too poor compared to my original Apple display. I suggest the Apple users to verify the display quality and you will not satisfy with spurious displays. I suggest you to go for a good quality screen replacements to have better experience.

Saves money but they don’t use genuine parts and lie about it. Just another fraud company, yeah it’s cheap, but you wonder why. They make too much money on repairs for what comes out of their pockets. The younger man has an attitude when you ask simple questions. Overall I wouldn’t go back , just go to the apple store. Ive had my kidsiPads fixed here several times over the years and Ive never had an issue. Most recently, my daughters iPad needed a new screen, got it replaced here, had to take it back once for the home button being a bit jiggly, and then for the screen cracking from the inside (no clue). Either issue could very well have been my daughter, but the owner took it in with no issues, fixed it within 20 minutes each time, and didnt charge me a dime. Second fix required a brand new screen.Couldnt be happier with their service or timeliness.

After I brought my daughter’s brand new iPad there to have the screen replaced, it started turning off on its own all of the time. I read that it’s a common issue when the screen is replaced, because sometimes the new screen presses down on a sensor. I brought it back and the guy said it wasn’t his fault. We are a family of four and have many phones, iPads, etc. We would have been good customers for years to come. Never again! Now the iPad is useless unless I bring it to some other place to fix.

My LG G5 phone broke and they fixed it in 20 mins. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and answered every question I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The owner was there and very nice as well. The pricing was very reasonable as well and the work quality exceptional.

The screen on my macbook randomly turned black for no reason. My quote to get it fixed at Apple was $575 (before tax). This location fixed it for me for $490 (before tax) and a great job was done! The entire screen was replaced which eases my concerns that itll go black again. Would definitely trust any other products that I have with this store! Left my laptop case a little dirty with pen smudge; that would be the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars... still would go back.

If you have something wrong with your phone or tablet, DO NOT go anywhere before you come here, these guys are great! Dropped my tablet, screen went black, went to one place they quoted me $189. I called here, told him my problem, he said it could be fixed, found it hard to believe, came to the store, he took my tablet apart, and had my screen back on within 5 minutes. At one point i was on the verge of throwing out my tablet and getting a new one and this gentleman brought it back to life! To say Im happy is the understatement of the year, i got my tablet back.👍👍

I have a Samsung S8, I called arround to a dozen places to replace a cracked screen, They beat everyones price by a hugh amount, without a haggle involved. When I got to the shop there was no bait and switch and was taken right in, As Promised Immediately, there is a T.V. and a comfortable seating area. Within an hour I was on my way home.The place is clean, conveniently located in a shopping plaza so there is more than enough parking, you can shop, eat while waiting, There great!

The service was fast and efficient and he staff is helpful. The problem is the quality of the replacement parts. I came in to fix my iPhone screen and was disappointed by a third party screen replacement. Colors werent as vibrant, there was distortion under pressure, 3D touch was harder to use, and the glass was not as smooth to touch as a certified part. There should be a better disclaimer that OEM parts arent used rather than putting that on the receipt.

I had a great experience! My screen was cracked slightly, however the display was still intact. Arty helped give me a screen protector and explained that replacing the entire screen wasn’t necessary. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Great customer service!

Had an Ipad 2 Air fixed less than 3 weeks ago. Paid $150 plus tax. It broke in the same spot again ( lower right side next to home button) and it was in a case this time. The quality of the replacement screen must have been poor. My kid is heartbroken.

I was visiting from Canada and suddenly had an issue with my laptop screen (physical damage on exterior and colours were distorted). I called the store and their staff was helpful, informative and honest. I then went to the store and their expert staff offered to take a look at try a fix. After a few minutes I got my laptop back in 100% fixed condition as if nothing had happened. THEY DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME!!! THEY SAVED THE DAY AND MADE MY DAY AND WEEKEND!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!! If youre in Long Island or anywhere in NY area and need a screen repaired or have some other technical issue, this is the top choice.

Fast and affordable. I’m very happy with how my phone came out.

Brought my Galaxy S5 in with a cracked screen. Workbench is unprotected and right in from where customers can easily handle items being worked on. Also note, that no ESD precautions are being taken at this location.Phone was given back to me with glass replaced, but non-working buttons due to sloppy install which severed ribbon cable. Tempered glass cover was crooked. After a week of waiting for part, brought phone back and had it fixed 2 more times - several hours after being told it would be finished.Now, since the phone has been opened and re-opened so many times, the glass is lifted and soft-buttons do not work properly. Charging port cover is broken off. Microphone doesnt work properly so I have to scream into phone.Extremely disappointed with the whole experience, and out $260 - stay away.

Teenage daughter cracked screen on IPhone 8. Brought phone here was fixed in 15 minutes for $90. I was satisfied until my daughter complained about the camera quality on the selfie side. I had to agree with her it was cloudy and color was off. Took it to Apple thought it was unrelated to screen change. Apple technician immediately said that the piece was not Apple original and that’s the reason it was not clear. Another $160 and it was fixed right. Morale of the story is as long as you are not fixing the phone for a teenage girl you should be fine here. But if selfies are involved go straight to Apple.
