I needed help finding what I was looking for. Only employee I could find was behind the register. She just waved her hand in the general direction of kitchen items. I needed something more specific. Another customer located the item for me.

I visited BB&B to find a Nuvage for my wife for her allergies. With the aid of a friendly sales lady I quickly found my item, paid the cashier and left. Thats the way we men love to shop.

Im giving a 3 only because I had ordered my purchase online for curbside pickup. I got an email stating that it was ready for pickup 2 hours bf I got there. I followed the curbside directions pulled in spot and clicked the link to let them know I was there. Usually, in most places it takes about 5 min for them to get out the door. Well, it took 20 min or longer for them to have my 1 item brought out that was supposed to be ready upon arrival. I had to call inside, tell who I was and I was there for my order. The lady said ok someone will be with you shortly. 5 more minutes pass by and an associate cones out and asks my name again. I tell her show my ID and she said oh, I just passed that order. Ill be back. So, another 5 min pass bf she comes out. I only did curbside because that was all I was getting and my back was out. If this service is going to be provided, they need to have a better quicker plan to getting items out the door.

Item was out of stock. Employees great in placing my order for online & direct delivery to my house. And shipping was free! VERY GOOD experience. Also picked up a cyber Monday purchase & it was at counter waiting for me. GREAT PEOPLE!

Nice little store with friendly cashiers

I simply ask for assistance to get a list of items listed on a wedding registry.... when I was finally given the printed list of items... I was given instructions to look up for the signs indicating where the item could be found in the store or if it was something I had to order.. after walking all the around the store and checking each sign to find where a “ring door bell” would be.... I was told that was in a locked cabinet. ( not in a specific labeled area).... at 7:04 pm that evening I returned to the same store I needed to take back a different item.. I was refused entry.... closed at 7:00... I even made contact with the same guy who sold me the item in question.... piss poor customer service... so I got to drive home 30 miles to return tomorrow 30 miles back to return an item.... not really sure how to feel about the employees of this “Bed Bath & Beyond”... store.... and by the way I purchased an item for a bridal register at a cost of $249.99.... and the return item was a $40.00 Salt Gun.... I was raised in a era where meeting the need of the customer was at the top of things to do in business... and by doing so kept customers coming back.... todays big box stores such as bed bath and beyond... really don’t care.. and it shows..... signed NOT A FAN of the hickory location

I purchased numerous orders online due to the pandemic. One of them being a bathroom digital scale. My shipment arrived in 3 separate shipments, no problem. I had to return the scale as it was defective. Had to pkg item, return with receipt to a local FedEx location. Did so and pkg was received on August 18th. As of today, no credit for defective item, and no response to the 2 emails I have sent customer service. I was going to order an artificial Christmas tree, but have opted to do so elsewhere. Poor customer service. I will not order online from this store again. I expected better from such a large company.

This is a really great store. Associates always seem knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you. Felecia & Heath have been two outstanding employees. Both are very friendly and helpful. If you cant find it in the store and they dont have it, they will order it for you and ship it to your home with free shipping.

Let me first say that Darlyn at the Hickory store was our saving grace!! We had made an order online on Nov 27th..... December 1st we received an email that it was shipped. However, still to this day it’s says “waiting carrier pickup”. I called the 800 # 4 times and was told 4 different reasons. They said it was lost in transit...or it’s been shipped and with the USPS....or best one you should receive by this Friday because I’m issuing a replacement order and going to expedite your shipping. None of these were true. 3 online chats.... same thing. Finally I decided to call the hickory store and spoke with Darlyn which promptly figured out that it NEVER shipped and wasn’t going to since it was totally out of stock and the vendor was shut down and it wouldn’t be shipping anytime in the near future. God bless this lady for caring enough to look into my problem! She said she would honor the coupon I had for Black Friday and made my terrible experience one that end with a very happy customer!! Thank you Darlyn for your help and time and caring about your customers!! BB&B should get rid of the “no” customer service 800#!

Staff here is very helpful, even with the shortages they found me what I needed, be mindful that everyone is short staffed and product selection and supply will be affected until manufacturing gets back to normal.

For the past several years I have always had courteous and friendly staff in store at Bed Bath and Beyond in Hickory but in November one very special person named Darlyn went beyond her duties to help me obtain a credit after returning an Item back with FedEx to a Warehouse in Georgia which gave me the runaround about my credit. I finally called the store in Hickory and talked to a person named Darlyn to find out what was going on and to asked her if she could help me solve my problem.. We had several conversations on the phone where she tried to help me by trying to find out why I hadnt receive that credit but she stated that she also didnt get anywhere. So, I drove from Statesville to finally talk to her in person where I gave her all my written information and again she called the warehouse in Georgia. She was openly lied to and given all sorts of excuses while I was sitting across from her and listen to the phone conversation . The entire time while she was speaking on the phone she was very calm,courteous and friendly.We where finally able to resolve my problem and I was promised that I would be credited the full amount.This Lady showed a lot of concern for her customers and the patients and calm she showed was that of a saint .Darlyn cares about her customers and tries to make sure that everyone in treated right .I very much appreciated all her help.Thank you Darlyn.Bianka Miller

Went up there to curtain shop and was surprised by how sloppy that section was and how slim the pickings were. But in the long run ended up setting on some that they had in stock after picking two on display that were out. Im gonna blame the issue on covid and not the associates that work there

It is time for your store to get back to regular hours and stay open till at least 8:00. Time has changed and weather is warming so people are getting more active in early evening.

I like this store. Some things are a little pricey. I feel like the quality is better though of some stuff. They have my favorite sheets. They have a good return policy too. They also frequently send out coupons.

I had a great shopping experience at Bed Bath & Beyond today. I actually dislike shopping and I only go into a store when I want to buy specific thing. Today that thing was coasters and Bed Bath & Beyond had all of their coasters neatly arranged in one location in the store so that I could make my choice quickly and efficiently. They also had a very nice selection.

I really like the store. Store associates are very kind and helpful! Only thing is... it is on the more expensive side unless you hit the clearance! But they have more specific specialty items. Id give 5 stars.... just cant afford it! 😊

Bed Bath and Beyond is a great store. They have a great variety of items that range from household items to outdoor gardening and many other items. We often find many things that we use for stocking stuffers at Christmas. The prices are usually comparable to other retailers, however, they often send coupons in the mail for additional savings.

Nice one-stop-shop for all your bedroom, bathroom, and beyond rooms.

I want to thank Dean at Bed Bath & Beyond in Hickory NC for his help. I usually dont do reviews but I had to do one for Dean he was so nice, kind, helpful & patience. I went into the store couldnt find what I needed & been looking for a shower curtain for stall size for a while. He ask if I needed help told him what I was looking for. They did not have in the store. Took me straight to the computer pulled them up he let me choose the one I wanted & paid right there for it online. Got delivered to my house yesterday. Im in love with the shower curtain! Thank you again Dean for being patience & making me happy! Thats what I call great customer service!

Wow! How rude of customer service can you have? I called very enthusiastic to ask if they were still hiring. The guy said have you been contacted yet? And I said no not yet. He said then at this point no we are not.... and hung up on me!! What the heck. This shows how terrible of a place it would be to work at. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Horrible customer service. If I could give them a 0, I would. Tried using my coupon from e-mail which made the system kick out my whole transaction and she had to re-ring up everything. Tried to scan coupon again and said it had already been used. Instead of calling someone, told me to come back another time and it might work. Seriously!! Asked she call someone to help her and management instead of coming to her register to help, starts ringing people up. Terrible customer service.

Usually only go in there for specific things. Today we went in there looking for pillows. We ended up getting 2 latex pillows each were 1/2 off. So when you find good deals that is great!!

Dear cashier. You have one job. Small talk is fine, however I dont need to know what colors are the top colors for the year. Nor do I need a therapist or a mother. Im a 40 year old man that has more to do than walk around a store full of estrogen.
