Best place for some quality one-on-one time with each of my kids. We all like the relaxing and creative way to spend time together. Painting pottery was a lot of fun and we use the piggy bank and mugs in our home. Cant wait to take my preschooler!

Oh my gosh I love this place. I have been to the Painted Pot twice during the pandemic and I really appreciate the fact that staff enforce the governors mask order. Its really important to wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose in order to protect other customers. After all, you never know if you might have been exposed before you came to visit. Thank you for providing a safe place for me to express my inner artist.

Price of items was way too high, staff would not take the hint to leave me alone, constant distraction to an otherwise fun date idea.

Great selection, helpful staff, and excellent COVID protocol. Went here for Valentines Day and it was a very fun way to spend a few hours together. I highly suggest for a great experience, regardless of age!

The owner Brie is wonderful, as are all her staff. We felt welcomed and were taught how to do what we wanted. Even if we didn’t know how to do things, they showed us! This is an awesome place to go and relax while creating, or to bring the kiddos. My 14 year old daughter, my mother and I had a great family day at The Painted Pot! Go there and see for yourself!

I love the Painted Pot!! During difficult times, they have creatively worked out ways for people to have access to creativity with grab and go projects. They also spent a lot of time during the lock down reorganizing the shop to allow for distance so people can come in physically. Masks are required, and as a person with health concerns I am SO grateful!! The Painted Pit is a huge asset to Downtown Helena, the greater City if Helena, they are super involved in the community and are honest and authentic people. Can’t recommend highly enough! Kid time, girls night out, date night or First Friday adults night - it’s a great place to get creative!!

Great experience. They help you every step of the way. (Kate is great!!) Lots of items to choose from ($10 and up). Our group of adults really enjoyed the evening of painting.

One of my favorite places in Helena. Great for kids (of ALL abilities!!), couples, friends, family, really any occasion. The owner is an amazing supporter of all of Helena’s communities and of the downtown generally. During the COVID pandemic, she has gone out of her way to make sure all her customers and staff are safe and comfortable and comply with the Governor’s orders to wear masks and other measures to prevent exposure. Great business and great fun!!

I’ve been going to the Painted Pot since it opened. Bri and her family have been so wonderful! As it kid the summer camps were amazing and as an adult is was the perfect place to make some cool one of a kind Christmas gifts. There are so many options to let you creative juices fly! Definitely would recommend spending an afternoon :)

This place is AWESOME. Not only is it next door to a fabulous bookstore so that adults have a place to go hang out while kids have fun at birthday parties, it also has the most fantastic staff. The owner is conscientious and attentive, and she seems to have made sure that she only hires people who share her commitment to customer service. I visit whenever I am in Helena!

We have enjoyed the Painted Pot so much lately. It’s been wonderful to have a healthy and safe place for my kids to do art, even while we are in a pandemic. We have painted in-store as well as pottery to go kits. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

During the shutdown, Brianne did a beautiful, custom set of pots for me. She spent the time to ask me what I wanted and what I liked, interpreted that into art, and shipped them to me. I love how they look like a little piece of ocean in my home.

The owner is amazing, she provides a fun activity for families! She also provides a grow up night too to give adults an alternative to just going to the bar. Fun is had by all when we go in!

Good time to relax and be creative. It felt expensive at first, but we were there painting for almost 3 hours. So it was a good deal. Everything turned out great after they were fired in the kiln.

I was visiting for Pride, wasnt sure what to expect from this place but it was amazing! Helpful and creative staff ready to assist on your project, and they mailed my painted piece to me very nicely wrapped in a timely manner.

I understand wearing a mask but I still got in trouble for wearing it under my nose, I have major breathing problems and can’t wear it over my nose for longer than 30 minutes. Owner is just super unfriendly...

The Painted Pot provides an outlet to the community that is much needed. Art. You do not need to have a creative side to be able to create a memory. I have been for grown up nights, my own time and with children. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Brie also gives a lot to this community. Its an all inclusive business and she works with businesses such as Intermountain Childrens Home and Big Brothers Big Sisters. It is a gift to give kids in need a happy and safe space to get to know their Big. Its well worth your experience.

The basic premise is to grab something you want to paint off the shelf, the colors from the back, and go at it. Simple idea, friendly staff, loved it. Definitely would recommend.

Recently visited this place on a whim, with some friends and their kids, and we all had a blast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was perfect. If only my art skills were as good as the atmosphere! Will definitely be back.

Fairly fun to go, but extremely overpriced. The smallest thing you can get (about the size of a golf ball) costs $8, which is ridiculous. Fun for kids, not as much for adults...

I love this place! Great for all abilities and ages! The best part is, the clean up is so simple. They handle splattered paint and sticky brushes better than I can!

Open, creative, wonderful part of the Helena community. My husband and I took a glass fusion class for one of our date nights. Great date, plus we have beautiful artwork we created. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The owner insists on making our community better for all.

I am so glad we have the Painted Pot in Helena! I have such fond memories of taking my kids there when they were younger. Now I get to go with my Little. She has such a blast there and the staff are so helpful. I have been to adult night just once but cant wait to go back.

I worked here right out of high school and it was a wonderful working experience. The owner and family are great and care a lot about the community. I’ve moved away from Helena but when my family and I come to visit next we are planning on coming in and possibly doing a group party here!

Wonderful place! Classes for kids and girls night out! One set back for this business is that you cannot park downtown for more than 1 hour at a time during downtown business hours. You have to move your car every hour, but if you get lucky you might get a 2 hour spot 2 blocks away.Large selection of ceramics that you can choose from, and a 4 day turn around time to get your pieces back. The help is helpful and great energy. I will go back.

Fun way to spend time with friends and family while being creative

My daughters had gift certificates from Christmas that they were excited to use. Weve never gone together so today was the perfect day to go. The prices are marked next to the pottery. So my daughters picked out their items and when we went to use the certificates the heart frame was $40 instead of $20 which was the price directly in front of the frame. The lady stated it must have fallen behind. We looked and there was no other price tag anywhere. I found it to be completely rude not only by the attitude of the representative but also to not give some percentage off for it being marked incorrectly.
