Kim and the rest of her staff were beyond friendly and helpful. We are just passing through on a cross-country road trip so we couldn’t wait around for a week or two until there was a time slot available. There was originally no time available for us, but Kim shifted some things around in the schedule and booked ya in for the very next day! We highly recommend this place for any auto mechanical work needed! 5 stars.

While on vacation with my 89 year old mom headed from South Dakota to Georgia by way of Montana in an RV we experienced some overheating and then no a/c. We were greeted by the very most gracious and accommodating person Kim and then the courteous and knowledgeable workers. Although very busy they worked us in and checked and fixed other minor issues but unfortunately were unable without parts to fix our a/c at the time. Very very pleased with their service. Kim later called to wish us well on our travels!

They are very professional and let me know if something doesn’t need to be done (when my mileage says it might) as well as let me know things that do need to be taken care of. They don’t just blindly go with what the manufacturer says-they check things to see how it actually is.

The guy who greeted me was friendly and professional. He found that an old mouse nest had been causing the noises my fan had been making for ages and cleaned it out. He topped up my a/c and then the cherry on top - informed me the whole service actually cost less than he’d quoted me. They were super fast, my a/c is blowing cold air again in this incessant 90+ degree heat, and my fan is quieter than I can remember it ever being before. Wish I’d come to Meineke sooner! Very happy customer and will come again for other services.

A leaking heater hose turned into a intake manifold gasket leak. Thermostat housing leak and a bad heater control valve and a bad radiator cap. $1142.00. I have a receipt showing the thermostat was replaced 1500 miles ago. A new radiator cap 2 months ago. I dont believe the intake manifold gasket was leaking. Today I tried to use my heater and it doesnt work. It worked fine before this visit to meineke. Returned there and they dont have time to look at it. Bring it in later. Like its not their responsibility to go out of their way to check something they screwed up. Unnecessary parts and unnecessary repairs. I wont ever go there again. Thats my review. Edit. Took my vehicle to another mechanic to fix the heater. Seems meineke failed to reconnect the heater control correctly. Also I forgot to mention that meineke showed me a puddle of oil under my van and gave me a quote for replacing oil cooler lines and a gasket. $420.00. Amazing since I left their shop I havent seen a drop of oil leak out of my vehicle.

Meineke has a great reputation for being an awesome place for oil changes, so thats why they are one of the top choices on my list. Not only that but they support ALL our Service members which is a huge deal to those of us who enjoy all the Freedoms we were accustomed to before the great plannedemic!! I called to see if there could fix a heater/ac fan in my pickup. Promptly was quoted a fair price. Took vehicle same day, fixed by 5 pm. Great service.

Excellent service as always. The diagnostics was quick and to the point. Andy discovered the issue quickly and was able to obtain the part quickly. The shop was packed with others to repair, but they were able to make time to get my vehicle fixed. I was picking up my daughter at Meineke in town and on my way there my car started acting strange. I limped it in to the Meineke shop just in time as the alternator failed. I did not have any appointment yet they got it in right away, even with a full parking lot of other cars. What a great bunch of people. I will now consider them as my new repair shop.

Great and timely service! I called with a mystery noise after driving on some dirt roads and they were able fit me in same-day for free brake check to see if I might have stone lodged between the pad and the rotor (turns out that wasnt it). Although they werent able to diagnose the noise (its super ambiguous and fairly quiet) someone did take the time to ride with me and listen to it since I was afraid I might be wearing down a metal part.

Excellent customer service from Kim, excellent work from the service tech. He inspected the front end of my 1999 F350, did an alignment, and rotated the tires. He is a perfectionist and made sure the steering wheel was centered perfectly! She runs straight and smooth down the road now! Great job! (Under $110) I highly recommend them!

They were amazing! I have had my car in there multiple times the last month. The first time when something shorted out and started a fire Kim had my car towed immediately to them and they had my car done that day. They took the time to explain to me what was wrong and what needed to be done. When I broke down on the side of the road out of city limits Kim called me several times to make sure I was ok. They got my car fixed the very next morning even though they were booked. Amazing service! Will continue to use them in the future.

They were great about getting me a discount on parts for military service. They saved me 10% on parts alone which added up considerably so I was grateful they offer this. They were really great about after hours pick up and drop off and they called me right away when my parts came in and fit me into their schedule quickly. Overall no complaints, even when I kept asking them to perform more services, they were able to accommodate me without hesitation. Ill be going back🥰

Great friendly techs. From out of town and realized our wheel bearing was loose and needed replacing. Called them on a Saturday and they fit me in. Got the bearing fixed and an alignment done all with a half hours worth of notice and went home the same day. Would use them again.

My company uses Meineke for fleet maintenance service. They are professional and efficient and provide excellent customer service. I always enjoy their sense of humor also.

Wasn’t super thrilled. Went in for just an alignment. Took over an hour then they came in informed me they couldn’t align the vehicle because I needed new upper rear control arms. So they spent over an hour to “inspect” my vehicle. Then CHARGED me for it. If I come in for an alignment and you can’t align my car - stop and tell me then ASK if I want to complete the inspection (I already knew what was wrong with the car - I just didn’t know they couldn’t align me). The money I paid is a “credit” IF I let them do the work. Here’s the thing. I can work on it myself - I only need the aligning tools. So I got charged $45 to sit in the waiting room for 75 minutes. Do not go here.

IF I COULD RATE LESS THAN 1 I WOULD.The Helena store when I called to get price quote on Brakes miss quoted. I called and stated that I needed a quote on brakes (rotors and pads)and stated I am metal to metal. I get the price quote $407 thinking was for all 4, I had previously explained that my son could do it for me for $200 which were the parts but I would rather not wait the 2 weeks to drive 2 hours to have done. I set up an appointment dropped off my car. I later get a phone call with the mechanic telling me that I also need breaks for the rear (which I had already knew) of my car because its metal to metal. I told him I thought that is what they were doing was all 4.The quote I thought was for all 4 brakes he told me that the person Kim in the front who set up my appointment and quoted me wrote he front brakes needed to be done on the work order. When she got on the phone she tried to tell me that she had asked me where the noise was coming from and I told her the front which was not true she had never asked, and I told her that if I was asked about where the noise was coming from I would have let her know that it was coming from the rear. All she asked me was make and model and address information. They were only willing to give a very small discount to have the rear done, no compromise with their mistake. They refused to put my old brakes back on, so I was stuck paying for the front. Kim told me that the front brakes are primarily the ones that need to be done on a car, so she made the assumption without asking that is what I needed. I did not let them do the back I didnt want to give them a dime more, even thought now I need to spend more money.. When driving back home, the main noise that I originally got me to call metal to metal still there. After speaking to others today after, I found out that there were better shops in town and was told by a family member who has lived here over 25 years that that I should have asked them first as to who would be best for brakes. Do not go to Meineke, better shops in the Helena area. Believe me spreading the word fast around town.

Ive been going here now for a few years for my oil change and every time I have gone, the service has been fast, super affordable, and awesome. The customer service provided has consistently been excellent and any questions I may have about something are met with good answers and a kind smile. The prices for an oil change are super affordable because the price offered is way way lower than Jiffy Lube or a dealership does, which I find is a pretty good standard. The owners have done a great job building up their business and I appreciate that they are constantly doing their best for their customers/clients. Thank you for being a great business in Helena that I can count on.

These guys did right by us! We took our van in because the a/c wasnt working... they could easily have told us it was a bad compressor and charged us $1,300, but they were honest. They found a loose electrical connection, plugged it back in and only charged a little bit for testing. I will be back next time I have car problems!

I had an okay experience at first, but they had told me my air filter and my front brakes needed to be replaced over the phone after my oil was done. After I had asked how much the brakes were to get done, I told them that my dad and I would do it at home since I am a college kid who can’t afford the money they were asking. When I came in to pay, they had told me the same thing saying it was in “critical condition” and they had time to do it. I am a woman, so I assume they didn’t think I would know how to do it, but I told them I would check it out at home. Once getting home and buying the parts to replace them, I came to find out my front brakes actually had lots of life left in them and I wasted both my time and money fixing them. This would have been unnecessary for them to do there as well and just cost me hundreds of dollars for no reason had I got them done there. Overall o wasn’t pleased about trying to be manipulated into unnecessary work on my car that would have cost me hundreds of dollars.

Made an appointment to have ac fixed only to be told that they had to look at it first to diagnose the exact problem and if it was more than a simple fix such as an o ring they didnt have time to fix it at that time. This time of year everyone is extremely busy. They should have expected that it would take more than 30 minutes to fix and if if didnt then they would have the availability for someone that had an emergency repair. They still charged me $75 even though if they fix the problem at later date they will credit the $75 towards the repair. Thats nice however they should have fixed it that day as I asked. Now I have to go somewhere else. EXTREMELY disappointed 🤬🤬🤬

I was very impressed with the professionalism. They not only changed my oil but inspected the entire vehicle including my headlight alignment. They also performed additional maintenance I requested at no additional cost.

Service was fast. Service writer was nice and thoughtful. Parking lot was to busy and small. Had a lug stud replaced as it was seized and snapped. They installed a sub par lug nut in place with a washer that doesn’t seem to yield the torque on it. I had to get the correct one to torque my wheel.

Ready for us when we arrived and diagnostics were quick and accurate. Work done in a timely fashion

Kim and Chuck, and their staff, are great people. They have great customer service and communication. We take our vehicles to them for all our maintenance/servicing needs. They work quickly and thoroughly. They dont try to oversell things you dont need. They are very pro-veteran and offer free oil changes to vets on veterans day. They also provide a great homemade apple cider while you wait in the fall.

I brought my car in to have a seasonal tire exchange on a Saturday and I was also having a weird noise with my front tires. It was a front wheel bearing and the great folks at Meineke were able to fix it that day! You guys Rock!

I went here because my tires were low on air and Im not very smart with cars, the staff were super nice and filled it with air for me, they even fixed my windshield wiper fluid and informed me that it wasnt working and Ive been pouring it in the hood, regardless my car has never been better and they insisted I didnt have to charge them for it even though I was willing to pay, Ill drop by if my car has another problem, 10/10.

I being a Veteran always appreciate the service I receive at Meineke, Kim and her Crew were quite helpful explaining what was going on with my car.

I had a tire that needed repair and was stuck at work. They drove to my work and picked up the tire. No one offers that now a days. The entire staff is very professional and courteous. They did all the leg work for me when it came to hunting down a used tire for my spare and also getting me information on warranty for tires purchased somewhere else. They turned a bad situation into a good experience and made my life much easier as I was trying to juggle work and tire repairs.

Chuck, Kim & their team are amazing! They are very thorough! They stand by their work. I appreciate being presented with information regarding needed repairs without any pressure to get it done immediately. It’s the only place we take all of our vehicles!

My wife took my car in to see why it was braking hard. They told her i need brakes all around plus new rotors due to rust. 20% rear and 20% front. Quoted my $750 with labor. Plus $105 to fix a rock chip in my windshield. I wanted a second opinion. Took it to Midas in Great Falls and also Tire Rama. Midas found a rock in between the tire and the brake which was making the hard beaking and squeeze. They both said I did not need brakes that the front were at 50% and rear at 75% and no rust on the rotors. Why such a drastic difference? Even if the rotors on the rear were rusted Midas quoted me around $550 to replace with labor.Not sure if they were trying to take advantage of my wife, but I dont understand how taking it to 3 different dealers and only one telling me to spend $750 when not necessary. Meineke will not be getting my business ever again.

Although the diagnosis turned out to be a surprise, I was so impressed with the staff. Their mechanic was so knowledgeable and honest and the friendly front desk was such fun...I would not hesitate to go back to this business.

I take my vehicle here for my oil changes because they do a through inspection, are able to change fluids on the spot, recommend services needed or needed in the future and offer several options for future repairs. They are friendly, through and fast.

I need to get my vehicle in in a hurry and they were able to take me last minute. I had been told by a different place than my alternator we needed replaced Meineke tested my alternator and said that it was good and the battery was good and that it was just a cable problem. They worked with my extended warranty service and it didn’t cost me anything and they saved me from an alternator repair that I did not need. The staff was fast and friendly and very knowledgeable.

I definitely recommend this shop. Thier service was excellent and prices reasonable. They even gave me rides home and back . I will be be going back to them for my future needs.

This is my 2nd time having work done at this location. I couldnt be more impressed by this Meineke. I thought I needed my brakes and rotors changed, getting squealing noises and vibration when I braked. It turns out my brakes are still good and rotors are fine. I had a rock lodged in the mechanism somewhere that was causing the noise and vibration in the wheel. The shop had even ordered the brake/rotor parts for me a day in advance, but they werent needed. Any other mechanic shop would have just changed out the parts, charged me full price, and I wouldnt have known, but this store was HONEST and told me what was going on. Much props to Kim and her crew for being above board and saving me a ton of money on un-needed repair work. They also had me out of there much sooner than expected with high mileage oil change and new headlights (one was burnt out - and GM vehicles seem to always need both changed at the same time). This Meineke location will be my mechanic from now on.

Kim and her staff treated me with so much respect. Listened to me about ALL of the issues I was having with my car when other shops in town pushed me aside. I felt heard and they were even able to come up with a diagnosis that made sense with all of the issues I was having with my vehicle. Then they went above and beyond and helped me go through my warranty paperwork from my dealer to see if my repair would be covered even though it had to be done through the dealer. I could not have asked for better service. I will be taking my vehicle there from now on. As a women I have never been treated better by a auto shop. I cannot sing enough praises for this location.

What am amazing place. Chuck and Kim invited us down to join them with their free oil change event for veterans and we had a great location to set up our BBQ and served 140 free meals to participants and guests of the event. A wonderful member of our community and I hope to be invited back to assist them again.

Was referred to go here by my veteran father, worth it. Polite staff. It was a Long hour + wait for oil change, but thats expected as I had no appt. They have wifi and about 10chairs and a stack of magazines to keep you occupied while waiting. Will service my vehicle here when needed again.

Most times I have a pretty good experience here, & I did for the most part the last time I went in as well. But after going over the papers they gave me upon leaving, i’m left utterly confused. I was looking over my tire information they gave me, & all of my tires were at about 80% wear, but I had literally gotten new tires two days prior to going to meineke, which i did not tell them. i’m not sure if this was a complete mistake, or if they were feeding false information, but i’m very confused by it. i’ve had times before were they’ve told me i need to replace things, when i reality the part just needed cleaning. & now this.... i love the prices here, but i do not understand how the tire wear is even possible with them being brand new... i’ve only run into a few problems here, but this one has me quite annoyed.

Oil change was reasonably priced and quick. Only concern is that they told me my brakes were at the lowest level before replacement. When I had my hubs and sensors replaced I asked the mechanic to replace the brakes too, at another shop. He showed me the old brakes next to the new brakes and there was no difference. My brakes werent low. I had just purchased the car. I would have spent a lot of the second mechanic wasnt so honest.

My tires were losing air after driving, so I brought the car to Meineke.Miranda was very helpful at the front desk. The back tires were found tohave a small nail in each one , and the front tires probably weren’t sealed correctly.All the tires were remounted and sealed and the nails removed for a minimal charge.I’m very happy with the service at Meineke in Helena, MT.

Wonderful people, good work, good prices. Three times I started at other shops getting estimates on some repairs for my Volkswage. Everytime ended up here. (e.g. estimate for a brake job for a newer Volkwagen, 50% cheaper than from a tire shop that has a big square yellow sign). I resolved to start here from now on.

Im from out of town but they made me feel at home in their cleanly, organized, professional shop. No one likes to wait for auto repairs but they make the wait pleasant. First of all, there needs to be 6 review stars available for this shop.My 2005 Silverado 3500 reached 85,750 miles so I thought it would need a brake job before sliding a new camper in the bed. Meineke gave me an estimate and I dropped the truck off at 7:45am. The appointment was at 8:00 but the owner opened up and checked me in. It seems like the older you get the earlier you show up which doesnt make any since.At 9:30am, I got a call from the technician at Meineke. You know when you get that call you sort set up straight and brace for impact. Well, to my surprise, the technician told me the truck had 75% brake life left and I didnt need to replace the brakes. So we agreed to have the brake calipers cleaned and to lubricate parts where required for a cost of $62. Most shops would have replaced the brakes and rotors, accepted my payment of $1,056 with a smile full of green backs, and I wouldnt have known the difference. Not this shop!I normally do my own vehicle maintenance because I have had some bad experiences. Now that Im a bit long in the tooth, I cant do what I used to do. Especially on a one ton dually. So the word vulnerable comes to mind. The quality customer service, integrity and professional character Meineke exhibited working with me is unprecedented in the arena of auto repair. I have owned and operated vehicles for the past 55 years and have never experienced this kind of honesty. I highly recommend Meineke on Custer Street in Helena Montana.
