This dealership is horrible when it comes to service. Been trying to get an issue solved for about 3 months now. Been in communication with the new service manager who has been there for about a month. He has been no help; blaming everything on Covid. Told me he needed to have the shop technician take the car out with his laptop so he could diagnose the problem. On 8/3 I received an email stating the technician was out of the office and would be returning on 8/8. Well, 8/8 was a Sunday so I have yet to figure this one out. Today is 8/11 and no follow up whatsoever. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I will not be taking my car back there ever again.

I bought Lexus NX300 in Santa Monica dealer on March 2nd 2020, Julie asked me bought lot of warranty cost over $9600, few days later I called ask to cancel all of them that really not necessary, I went to Santa Monica dealer to fill of the cancellation form with Mark, they said will refund the money to me, but until now they still not give me the full refund, for the LAcarguy they never install the tracking system, its cost $750 and they still not refund to me, I email their general manager Matt about 3 months ago, he also said will refund to me but until now, I still never get the refund, nobody answer my phone and call back, I dont know what I can do next, who can help me? Where I can complain?

After the 2021 Toyota Mirai lease/2019 Lexus vehicle trade transaction on August 1, I was abandoned by the LA Car Guy/Toyota of Santa Monica salesman, Ulises Villanueva; Manager, Hector Medina; and, the Finance Manager, Hassan Mohaved. Since we finished after closing time, Ulises failed to orient me about the function and safety features of the Mirai vehicle. The next day, I could not activate the Mirai Multimedia Screen Apps; and, he was not successful in helping me or even trying to find a solution. Furthermore, it took six phone calls to activate the Toyota remote services on the vehicle.An investigation has revealed that on August 8, 2021, Toyota of Santa Monica paid Lexus Financial for my vehicle trade: 2019 Lexus ES300H. However, ten days have passed, and I have still not received the check for the balance of equity. The dealership warns customers that there is a No cooling-off period. Then, they dont pay you for a trade-in without a fight.Due to these egregious failures in customer service, I will never return to Toyota of Santa Monica for service or another vehicle purchase.

Your people at 1501 Santa Monica are thieves. They negotiated a sale with me for a Luxury RX350 and switched it for a base model in the contract! You might get to keep my money but I will thrash your name for the rest of my life. My down payment was 40 years of savings

Service Advisor Armando Cordon at Lexus Santa Monica is extraordinary. During a routine service on my car he noted that my front brake pads needed to be replaced He called and I agreed. When I drove off I soon realized that the brakes made a screeching noise. Over the next two weeks I had to return the car three additional times before Lexus service identified the problem: the brake pads installed in incorrect location. Lexus service installed an entire set of new brakes which are working perfectly. While enormously inconvenienced, I am more inclined to be grateful to Armando for his perseverance in righting the problem and to Lexus Service for admitting their error candidly and correcting their mistake.
