My wife is disabled and had a lot of clothes to sort thru. She asked 2 seperate times for help to carry in and to carry out. They did not even open the door for her when she said it wasnt busy. Ying was not freindly towards her. She will never step foot in again. Employee should be trained better and be understanding towards those with disabilities.

Love this place! Have been here a few times and recently sold some items. Picked up a great necklace, as well, while the staff was going through my items for sale. Will be back with more items!

This place was a great find today! My daughter and I had never been before, but we stumbled across it this morning and came out with lots of great clothes for amazing prices! The clothes looked new and the selection was great. I found athletic wear and shoes, as well as work and casual clothes. The staff was nice and helpful. I cant wait to go back and see what other great deals I can find!

This store is awesome! I just bought a number of designer items (Michael Kors Dress, Ralph Lauren Sweater, Lucky Brand flats, Modcloth Dress, Eddie Bauer handbag, Columbia skort and a few other items) all for $105. A few of the items looked to be brand new too. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store and the store rep at checkout was very friendly. The store was also very well organized with cute displays.I drove past the store a number of times and never went in because I had never heard of it. Now I know that Ive been missing out, so go check this store out!

Style Encore is a fabulous place to shop for clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories. Staff is super friendly and helpful. You can sell and buy clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories. When selling they give the fair prices. And you will always find cute styles and great prices! New and gently used items.

The store is absolutely wonderful. There is such a great selection of beautiful clothes and a lot of brand new items with tags for a fraction of the original cost. I love and can’t wait for the live shows. Debbie and Tyler are very sweet and a great team always making you feel so welcome. I highly recommend everyone to take a look and shop here.

I stopped by Style Encore on a whim and came out an hour later with a handful of clothes and shoes! I was greeted when I entered and the staff was friendly and helpful. They had a great clearance section and quite a bit of inventory. I thought the dress, slacks, shoes and blouses were reasonably priced, I didn’t have time to check out the handbags or jewelry. Joining the rewards program was easy (I’m going to need it!) and the staff wasn’t pushy about it. I’ll definitely return. 😃

THIS PLACE I LOVE!! On vacation and purchased a ton of great and affordable clothes. My Mom, Grandma and Mother in law all left with at least 5 pieces. Very clean, organized and nothing on the floor like some thrift places. They are top notch. Wish they had this in Atlanta.

The staff is always friendly. Selection is AMAZING. Prices are right on point. Name brand merchandise is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Style Encore!

If youre looking for a thrift store with a variety of choices from nice options that are cheaper to higher end brands at a reasonable price youve got it all here. I have had great experiences every time Ive been in. Everything is so organized it makes it so easy to shop. I found my new favorite pair of jeans for 8 bucks! I look forward to bringing my family and friends in soon!

Very nice store! Well organized and all of the clothes are so nice. Prices are really good too even for all of the name brand clothing. They also sell brand new Coach purses that werent priced to high like most places.

Very upset with my last visit here. My mother and I came in this past week to sell some of our items separately. I was very upset with my moms transaction. She brought in a very large bag of items from Torrid and Lane Byrant. All of the items were purchased close to within the last year and many were BRAND NEW with tags still on the items. In this area we do not have a good selection of plus size stores. The ones we do have are stores like Catos that have cheaper clothing. Not one item in my mothers bag had even cost under $50. In her bag of items she was selling were many new pairs of jeans (costing anywhere from $50 to $60 each), a brand new dress (still $99 price tag attached), brand new tops and sweaters (still $50 and over tags attached), and a brand new pair of torrid heels ( still in box with complete packaging and tag of $65). When we returned to see what Style Encore wanted to purchase we were very upset. Of course they wanted to purchase 12 of the nicest items almost all with tags still attached. What they had in their keep tote probably retailed for over $500. They offered my mom $56 dollars. Divided up making it a little over $4 per item. Absolutely ridiculous!! My mother was very upset and asked the cashier if they could do any better. She tells my mom she entered everything at excellent condition and Torrid and Lane Bryant were just ringing in low?? Can I ask what rings in high? Looking on the rack I saw clothes from Catos, Costco, and Lularoe? I can imagine the ladies that sold there items must have walked away with a few cents. How could an item that cost $100 in an expensive plus size store ring in low when you have items from Cato? The lady helping us then typed a bunch of stuff onto her computer and raised my moms total from $56 to $60. Not sure what she then typed in to all the sudden raise the quoted price. My mom took back all of her items out of the tote because we could have more luck at a yardsale! I would recommend selling on Poshmark before coming into Style Encore. They would had turned a nice profit with them items they wanted to keep. Very upsetting.

I was offer $20.50 for 2 Vera Bradley purses, a 31 wallet, and Lane Bryant blazer all new. I had 2 new Coach purses, 2 special occasion dresses, 3 used Coach purses, they didn’t want but no reason was given on why they didn’t want the items.

So happy they are open again love this place

Seemed good from what i saw ithink some of the prices were 10 or 20 dollars more then id have assumed on some of the bigger bags but still a nice selection

Went in today to sell a few designer bags (Michael kors, kate spade..) just to see what they would offer. They are brand new bags and wallets that are 100% authentic! For all of those items I was offered a ridiculous price. It was more of an insult than anything. I could not believe that the pricing of the bag was lower than all of the older bags they had in there. I will not be returning to sell due to the lack of knowledge on bags. The store layout was nice, but for now on I’ll be sticking to Platos Closet to sell my designer bags!

Well I have a mixed reviews for the New style encore in Harrisonburg. I have a good understanding of how stores like style encore, Plato‘s closet, once upon a child, and others operate. I am careful to take clothes that are within the past two years clean and hopefully what the store is looking for at the time to the best of my ability. On my first visit to the new style encore, The buyer took all of my clothes told me if I had anything else to please bring it in anytime. I specifically asked them if they were taking athletic wear tennis shoes and some other items. They said they were told me some brands etc. I returned on a second visit with With one bag of a few items including athletic wear. All my items except two were turned down some dude just some spotting which I totally understand and was glad to take back, however the athletic wear was perfectly fine and no good reason was given by a pleasant taken.. I work at Talbots and have recently purchased those with in the past 1 to 3 months. I was only selling because I had lost so much weight I could no longer wear them. Although a few of my items were taken, ( to note items that were much older than the ones that were taken ) I asked why they had taken none of the pants – the first reason I got was because they were too wide legged and they were looking for skinny leg pants. I totally understand that, however I made them aware that these pants are currently selling in the store literally on my floor right now. Letting them know that I was didn’t understand since these were currently selling in the store. I was told that they only take pants that were from the past 1 to 2 years they don’t take anything that is new or currently selling. I understand that they were very busy With buys today. When I showed up they did say they weren’t finished with mine but then suddenly they were finished with mine. I love style encore- I love what it stands for reuse of good items- and the ability to take your items in and get cash on the spot is wonderful. I believe it is a buyer issue. So hence the four stars, yet a bit of a complaint. I will certainly return, but hope that when I bring in brand new clothing that’s when worn once maybe not at all that it will be looked at carefully and assessed. I’m excited for style Encore to open in Harrisonburg and look forward to doing business with you again soon.

Great place to sell and shop

Not pleased I came in there a few weeks ago to sale my coach clutch wallet they gave me $12 for it. A few weeks past I went back in there the same coach clutch I sold to them and they charging $35 for it.

Was not happy at all. Employees were rude and all they did was stare I wasnt greeted when I came in. Designer items are way over priced. There was a coach tote in there proced at $120 thats only $87 originally at the outlet. Thank goodness for platos closet there so much cheaper and make you feel welcome there!

Found some items to be a lil expensive for used garments. Can buy new, same price.
