This place is great to have in the neighborhood because they sell a lot of things!!! Their prices are great too!!! The only problem is that the store is cluttered & is dirty all the time, !!!

York St. Family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Dollar💲 is just fine by me! Never anything remotely resembling a problem when I shop! Fantastic selection ( even nice CLOTHES👕👖👙👞👟, For Petes Sake! 😲 ) and super prices always to be found! ☺😊Store is a little cramped, space-wise, but Id still rather have that then lose selections and variety of merchandise ( Wouldnt YOU⁉️⁉️🤷‍♂️)Boxes of merchandise on the floor awaiting to be placed on shelves doesnt bother me, ... and it shouldnt bother you either! ( Some people ALWAYS need something, anything to BITCH😤😬 about !!! ) These underpaid associates have a lot on them! They work hard, have to deal with loitering kids (in & out of the store) , put up with unsympathetic customers, stock shelves, keep accurate merch. records, and keep an eye on the checkout counter in between all this other nerve-wracking FUN🎈AND GAMES (Just to name a few of FD💲 associates stressful duties) and, as mentioned, probably at subsistence wagesLocated right beside Smokers Outlet😎🚬 absolutely seals the deal for me! Tough to beat one stop shopping🛒 〰️〰️〰️ Two Thumbs Up❗❗❗😉👍👍

Great location and great staff !!!!! They are always stocked and it beats going to Walmart. The employees are knowledgeable about store merchandise . I see people complaining about how they have stuff on the floors and I laugh ! Yes they have some storage tubs and merchandise on the floor but they are on top of wooden palates. They do the best with the amount of space they have to work with in the store.

I can get 90% of what I need day to day there which is important because I cannot drive and its only a seven minute walk from my apartment. Its not overwhelming like the bigger grocery stores, never extremely crowded, and always pretty quiet. All pros and no cons as far as Im concerned.

Disappointing. We went in for coke for $1 as listed in sales flyer but not to be found. Bought a few things and got the cokes elsewhere. Plenty of parking. Store fully stocked.

No matter the store location, Associates always act as though they cant stand working at there. They are forever rude & I have been overcharged several times. Due to Products ringing up for more then what they were marked as. Then when I requested everything to be corrected, the associates would get nasty & I was always treated like a thief.

This Family Dollar is always stocked and has a good selection and nice staff!

Store is just too small. They are trying to cram enough merchandise into a store that needs to be twice its sizeAll kinds of merchandise sitting in the idles boxed and unboxed. Good deals if you can find what you are looking for.

Always the best place to shop

I went to Family Dollar today and did the shopping I needed to do but they were not enforcing the covid 19 guidelines there were people just walking and shopping inside the store without mask or any kind of protection from this virus.

Staff always miserable and the store is never clean or organized the isles are always blocked because nothing gets put away . It doesnt matter how many people are standing in line they never open the second register. Worst family dollar Ive ever been to stay away. Go to dollar general & avoid the frustration its not worth it.

This is NOT a 3.5. One cashier. Line was long and no social distancing!!!!!

I go in on a daily basis and I always look for monster jave and its AWAYS out. Maybe order more because they are empty way more then filled. I also had a situation last week at the register. The two woman just sat together at the check out line taking, gossiping and never greatest us, never said have a good day, nothing, but I guess thats because they were to busy taking about other people and they did it to the man in front of me and the person behind them. Very rude and bad at customer service I remember what one girl looked like but I hope I have the receipt with the other girls name on it. My husband and I have been in customer service for ever and never in a million years would either of us not ignore or give bad service.

The clerk was very nice and pleasant. The store was kind of stocked. At least stocked for COVID-19

Carol is the nicest woman you’ll ever meet, but it doesn’t do the store justice when it’s always extremely crowded and the biggest degenerates hangout here/around the area. This store will normally tailor to your needs so long as you don’t need something otherworldly-specific, but sometimes you ponder if it’s really worth stopping here or driving the extra mile to go to Walmart.

Cheap convenient and staff is helpful

I’m fairly certain after multiple trips to this store it is a portal to hell. Maybe it is the odd feeling I get when I walk through it, maybe it’s the soulless men that hang out in front of the store, maybe it’s the women screaming at their kids... there is a clerk with red hair that I am convinced is an actual angel stabilizing the energy field, protecting the shoppers and keeping this place from falling into the ground. I will still go for the Lindt white chocolate truffles, crafts and cleaning supplies but only while holding crystals and wearing a crucifix. Consider smudging yourself after you have shopped here.

This store is going down hill fast! Most of the stuff are always in a bad mood. Today there were 3 stuff members in the store. The check out line was ridiculous n only one person cashing ppl out. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier if he could get help. His name tag said (Chris). He said he was the only one, I said I saw two ppl stocking one of them could help because the line is really long. He then tells me well thats what happens when ur understuffed.. I say, well being in retail myself i know u are not supposed to let the line get like this. ( keep in mind he was moody, too. ) After I check out, I walked to the bk of the store.. I found the lady stocking, n let her know that ppl were waiting a long time to check out. She calls out to the other person stocking, n when he answers she tell him that the kid upfront needs help.. I would like to know when did stocking come before the customer????!! Btw: I normally shop here three times a week. After this I think I will take my money elsewhere..
