Absolutely the best mechanics Ive ever worked with. Extremely honest, talented people. After taking my VW to TWO dealerships (Fresno and Clovis) who could not solve the problem, but were happy to take my money, I called these guys. Im new to the area so I was a little apprehensive at first.Bob at the desk was able to tell me the likely problem over the phone - something that the dealers couldnt even do after charging me diagnostics fees and seeing the car themselves. He did his research, replaced some parts, cleaned out some carbon, and my car ran smoothly. I had my car back and running perfectly in a week for less than HALF of the estimates I was provided by the dealerships.Now a year later Im bringing my car back there for a different problem. Just for fun, I called both dealerships to see if they could give me an estimate on repairs. They both provided me estimates well over $900, but J &T is fixing it for about half of that cost. I love these guys. Would recommend them to anyone.(To be extremely clear - I am a customer, not an employee, relative, or friend of anyone at J & T Motors. They simply made an extremely positive impression on me and I felt it needed to be shared.)

Got my car smog inspection here. Mechanic was very helpful and explained what needed to be fixed to pass smog. Great place with quality work.

My Mercedes Benz would not start and the tow truck driver advised me to tow it to JT motors. Bob told me that it was the fuel pump.After the repairs, my fuel gauge would show zero or half tank even with a full tank.I took it back to him but It never improved and I had to take it to my regular mechanic who discovered that the fuel pump was a cheap product and had caused damage to the left fuel filter. The pump was also leaking.Now I need to change the fuel pump and fuel filter and the price I was quoted is four times cheaper than what Bob charged me!!!

I think hes closed down. I tried to take my car in for repair and found his place empty, not a car around the place. The answering machine on his phone is still taking messages but no one returns the calls. The garage down the street told me that he retired.

I drive a 2008 BMW 135i. It recently had a water pump go bad. Not only did were they direct about how much everything was going to cost, they also finished it way sooner than anticipated with no extra hidden costs or anything. Everyone was really polite when I spoke to them on the phone and when I went to pick my car back up, he thoroughly explained to me everything that they did to it. If you have a European car, this would be the place to take it if you every need it fixed.

Fast, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a BMW or Mini in Kings County, this is where you want to take it for service and repairs.
