I had business invoices printed, but they were wrong. They said they would call me when the corrected ones were completed. Never received that call. When I called to check, I was placed on hold....for over 30 minutes. Of course all print orders are pre paid.

I had put in color prints around 7pm figuring it would get done the next morning. To my surprise by 3PM the next day the prints were still not done. I was told they were to busy with in person request to do mine. This is the 3rd time this has happened, so I told them to cancel my order. So I will be finding a more reliable company who cares about their customers.

Don’t go to this location! They have one girl running around helping everyone out why everyone else staying around at a register with no customers in it meanwhile a long line of check yourself out copy print and fax line out the door.Terrible customer service

One of the managers who claim their name is Susan at this location was very rude & disrespectful and she talked to me as if I was beneath her and accused me of lying about a purchase I never received I wish companies knew more about who they are putting in position of management because one person could make the company look bad the saddest part is when you ask for a manger the person who is so rude is in management do better office Depot

I checked the website for an item that my office needed; it showed 2 available. When I got to the store, there werent any on the shelf so I asked a sales clerk (Ryan) for help. This is after I had walked the entire store and not ONE clerk asked if I needed assistance. Ryan basically said that if its not on the shelf we dont have it. I told him that I just checked the website and it showed 2 in stock. He said, normally, well, unfortunately, ah, usually that means we dont have them. I said, are you sure, he said we dont have them and walked away from me and left me standing there. My husband went and found another clerk who came and scanned the barcode where the item should have been and said well that shows we have 2 in stock. He found them and gave me one. Now, I go to the register where Ryan is now working. he didnt wait on me but another clerk (who must have attended the same customer service training that Ryan did) waited on me. I told her this was a tax exempt purchase, no response from her. I told her again, this is a tax exempt purchase, before I could even finish the sentence she cut me off and said I heard you. I glanced over at Ryan and told him that the item was indeed in stock and he said nothing to me. However, the clerk that is waiting on me snapped at me and said, it happens sometimes. I replied, what should have happened was for Ryan to at least make an attempt to look for the item. She said, well you got what you wanted. I said, yup, sure did but you wont have to worry about me shopping in this store again. EVER! and walked out.This is NOT the first time Ive had sorry service in this particular store, but you can bet it WILL be the last time. Online shopping for us from here on out. Kudos and shout out to the employee who actually took the time to find the item for me, wish I had gotten his name because he is a hero. Perhaps he should facilitate the customer service training from here on out.

The copy printer service team, and manager on duty available 5Nov2020 at 4pm in the Hampton, VA store DOES NOT follow their on store policy. Per the manager the copy/printer/ etc service team is only allowed to take orders and not complete them while customers wait. This was NOT the case today. I watched as the service team assisted customers with orders, process/complete them on the spot. Taking on avg 10 to 20 mins with select customers while line of 5 or 6 people wait. I was not a selected customer, my service request wouldve taken 5 -10mins to complete including payment. I come to this location often for supplies and to bind documents. Today was the same request, and to purchase an all in one color printer.The team available today along with the unkind unconcerned manager need re-education on customers service, professionalism, and their store/company SOPs.Response to Anabel, thank you for the reply. I trust that the SOPs respect confidentiality, but one can never be sure after uploading or sending via email, etc. I print my documents on cardstock purchased at this location and bring them in for binding service. I contacted your location to confirm same day service. As I normally do. Since all customers are NOT treated equally Ive taken my business elsewhere. I will raise the issue to my corporate office as the Office Depot is a perfered vendor used frequently for in office supplies and work from home supplies.Thank you for the many other kind services rendered. Going forward this location will be a last resort for me.

First of all, that is what a copy center should look like, and they have a self service area if you want to make your own copies as well! Laura saved the day! I walked in at 8am and was out in less than 15 minutes! I was at the Office Max in Chesapeake Square the night prior, and they were absolutely no help at all! They had printed everything crooked! I gave the job to Laura and she presented me with exactly what I needed and in record time! Not to quote a line from Arnold...Ill be back!

I called earlier inquiring about a Brother 575 Personal Fax machine and was told they did have it. I told the gentleman I hope they still have some later this evening. He offered to take one to the front and put my name on it, which was very kind of him. I go there this evening and there was the machine. Ready to be checked out. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful.

I ordered a file cabinet. I paid for the item in the store but they could not cancel it so I had to phone to cancel. They cancelled the order and when they tried to deliver it the next day anyway I refused delivery. I am still waiting for my money back. Every time I phone I get the same song and dance from another offshore operator.I have spent thousands of dollars in this store but never again. I will grow old waiting for my refund but I will phone twice a day everyday until I get it.If you must shop at this store do not order anything. If it is not in stock buy somewhere else. Amazon!

Dropped off a Policy and Procedure manual to get copied around 11am, went back at 6pm (they close at 7pm). Nothing was done and the shift employees didnt know anything about it. They were too busy all day to get it done. Thanks for nothing...

Worst service ever! Called in around 2pm and asked for the email address so that I could send my print order....only to get there and find out the staff member gave me a old email address. So needless to say I had to resend it to a self serve portal. Well wouldve been nice if 3 out of 3 self serve portal were working. All of the staff in print area continued to take other people in line versus taking the time to fix the self serve portals. Spent 45 min and wasnt able to get my prints. Spent $18 dollars in the store prior to going to print....returned it all. Will not be revisiting this location ever again

Stood in line 15 mins. Im disabled, no one told me I could cash out at the register. Employees were just standing there with ear phones on listening to music. No here to help attitude and no all hands on deck since there were 8 of us in line. The manager sat in the back room peeking out the door but didnt ask any of the reps walking around to help get rid of the line then they can go back to doing nothing smh

Today I stopped by to have some books bound. Last time I had some done it was just a few hours. Today the lady tells me it could be 24 hours. Then I had to Sheetz that I needed to have punched so that I can replace them in other books I had found. I show the young lady exactly what I was talking about and she said I can punch them real quick for you. She went to the back and punched with a 3 hole punch. Now how is a three-hole punch going to work and a book that is spiral-bound. I was half tempted to ask for refund and taking off work elsewhere to have it done. I have never been so dissatisfied with customer service at Office Depot as I was today.

Terrible. The technology system they have in place is not customer friendly. Do NOT go in there unless you have hours to kill. This company makes their customers do the work so they will not have to hire people. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY GO TO UPS OR SOMEWHERE THAT VALUES HUMAN INTERACTION.

Weirdest experience ever. Attempting to send a fed-ex package. I stood there for 7 minutes with employees walking by me, all they have to do is turn the screen around so I can type the address in. But they couldnt be bothered to do that. Then two people helped the lady behind me inline, i guess a manager training a new employee? I looked at them and said i guess ill go somewhere else and they didnt even process that i hadnt been helped i guess, probably because they saw me standing there so long with no line in front of me. Needless to say their is a new UPS store in the same shopping center so I went there and paid 5 dollars more for next day delivery. Time is money. Best 5 bucks i spent. wont be back.

I like this OfficeMax! It may look pretty drab on the outside, but inside they have a plethora of office supplies for writing utensil geeks like myself. Dont expect the experience of going into a stationery store if youre looking for pens, but pretty much any other office/desk supplies you might be looking for are here! They even match prices with their website.
