After buying a used vehicle from this place the brakes gave out in 4 days. They fixed the brakes and gave me a hard time getting my second set of keys. I contacted the place several months later to get my second set of keys and they gave me a run around and told me that that service agent was no longer with them. Then at my one year anniversary I got a text from them asking how everything was going and I told him I needed the second set of keys. They did not find them then. So today I went in there after a year and a half to get my keys. The service agent I spoke with question why it took me so long. I told him that I was given the runaround over the phone and I also had a miscarriage, death in the family and left the country for a period of time. He said he could not help me and he said he would have gotten it a month afterwards. He even questioned and asked when I had my miscarriage as if that was relevant. Very inappropriate. After a half hour while I was with my three small children another service agent came,went into a drawer and found the keys that he refused to look for appropriately. He made several phone calls to people who I said would not be helpful because I had already talked to them. It was very embarrassing. They made me feel like I was making it up. They made me cry. I would not have my vehicle serviced by them. I would not buy vehicle from them. Very disorganized. They are also not willing to go the extra mile and constantly pass the buck.

I purchase a brand new 2020 Santa Fe from Hyundai last year. I always go to this place to get my truck service, because this is where I purchase the vehicle. Recently I had to get a brand new tire replace, and I’m not sure what happen, but whom ever replace my new tire, scratch up my new rim on the outside. I tired to contact “Kenny” the manager, but he just delayed info to someone else that it was not there fault, and he could not do anything about it. He never called or even tried to help the situation. Poor management! I will be contacting Corporate office on this matter!

I had a very poor experience with these people. I went with my significant other Keith Kirk to purchase a vehicle. We got the one we wanted and a warranty. Due to the dealership going over the 125 our bank would allow by adding a warranty the bank kicked it back even though we specifically asked if it would. We received a phone two weeks later from dealership stating we needed to sign a new sales slip. During both conversations about it they said nothing was different just had to move stuff around. Turns out that was a lie and they canceled the warranty without telling us. 6 months later is when we found out because we tried to use the warranty. But don’t worry because for 3300 they will resell us the warranty. Even after proving to them they screwed up and offering to pay half if they will cover the rest they still refused to do the right thing. I wouldn’t trust this place if I were you. They just want your money and to hell with morals and ethics’s.

Bought a car a year ago. i am happy with the car. i had pre approval from navy federal, however i let finance department say the could beat navy federal. i felt sympathetic to staff and wanted them to get a higher commission due to covid; they could not. i am unpleased with financing running my credit more than 5 times for financing at other institutions when i came in the door with a pre approval check. use your preapproval check.

I was made an offer of a certain amount via Kelley Blue Book, and Tysinger was one of the 2 supporting dealers. They contacted me, and dropped their offer after the fact, which the dealers are supposed to HAVE to stand behind their offers until a certain date, unless of course you misrepresented the vehicle. I don’t have time for shady dealer business and wouldn’t recommend Tysinger if you are looking for a honest dealing.

By far the worse decision I’ve made was to purchase an Hyundai, especially one from this location. The sales people will be very nice (of course ). But they don’t care about what they sell you. I’ve been having trouble with my car since I got it my first problem was engine failure then bad shifting now the air conditioning is broke. I’ve only had the car for 1 summer. The manager in service was rude they also didn’t want to disclose my information about my warranty, salesperson resolution was “let’s run your credit and get you in something new you don’t wanna get it this fixed then later on it breaks down again “ I literally had the car a little over a year with outrageous payments that I make on time each other . Worse car ever worse dealer ever worse decision ever

Took my car to 7:40am appointment to have an oil consumption test started because it was losing oil but had no leaks. Common issue with my model. (In fact, Hyundai lost a class action suit over it.) They kept the car all day, until I called several times to check the status of my car, and all they did was tell me what I told them - no leaks - and give the car a courtesy wash. They charged me $143 for that! Then they said they wouldn’t even do the test I requested unless I could provide documentation of all my oil changes since I owned the vehicle. They’re not the warranty company so why do they need that info and why didn’t they tell me that before wasting my day and $143. Paid for the most expensive car wash ever and got out of that place.

I generally have a feeling of disdain when dealing with dealerships. I recently purchased a used vehicle from another dealer (with appropriate mediocre experience) and brought it to Tysinger to perform their multi point inspection as well as another service as the place where I purchased it from didnt provide confidence. From the phone call, to in person, and follow up phone calls with status update has been nothing but exemplary. I applaud their customer service skills. I know dealers charge a bit more for maintenance but trust me it is worth the extra dollars for the customer care they provide. All of my routine maintenance and major repairs (god forbid) will be taken care of by Tysinger.Thanks for calming my shot dealer nerves. Another thanks for the service tech, Kyle (I think) for being thorough enough to find and correct problems with my vehicle. Crystal Hogge took care of me and has been fantastic and a complete pleasure to deal with!!

This is just one example of the outstanding service at Tysinger. When I had a engine problem with my 2013 Sonata earlier this year, I was totally flabbergasted when I as told this would not cost me anything to replace the engine. Even though I purchased this at a deferent dealer years ago, Tysingers service department is the BEST I have ever used ever, believe me I have own several cars over the last 50 years. I am retired Air Force, travelled and live all over the United States and this dealership service department is #1. I will purchase my next vehicle here.

Matt Horton was responsive to the issue I was experiencing. The repair to my vehicle took several days to complete. During this time, Matt kept in contact and timely updated me of the progress on my repair. The repair was completed ahead of schedule and Matt ensured my vehicle was prepared for pick-up with a wash and vacuum. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Matt took a few minutes to walk me to my vehicle and explain the details of my repair and what exactly was done to complete the repair. Matt sent me a text message prior to my arrival with a link that allowed me to pay for the work prior to arriving to the dealership. Overall, the service I received was first class and made the repair of my vehicle efficient and obviously effective. I was pleased with the service and the ti.e frame in which they completed the work, however I was unsatisfied with my vehicle returning to me uncleaned. I was told that it would be washed, sprayed with disinfectant spray and I was asked if I wanted to get it detailed for $19.99 inside and outside but none of this was done. I tried calling but do my work schedule I was unable to get someone before closing. Im still going to bring my car there for service and hope this wont happen again.

I bought my car here a little over a year ago now. I absolutely LOVE my car but my experience of purchasing it was awful! I got stuck with a new guy.. hey, it happens and I understand that everyone has to start somewhere but.. he should have had somebody making sure he wasnt dropping the ball. I was promised 3 years of the Blue Link service and tried to set it up for months. They kept saying that it wasnt registered under my name. So I went back to the person I bought it from and he tried to help me but said the system was down.. (he had also never done this before and I had to help him figure it out) after sitting there for an hour with my extremely whiny 9 month old I went home empty handed and was asked to try to return a different day (which is not something a single mom of an almost 1 year old wants to hear). I received no follow-up call asking if I had figured it out or still needed to come in. Here I am a year+ later and I finally got my Blue Link hooked up all by myself last week. I will not go back to this Hyundai dealership... Not even for service. They really made me feel like I didnt matter as a customer.. just another couple bucks in their pockets.

The service department failed to listen to me about why I was dropping off my car for warranty work. They wasted 3 hours to tell me my DRL was burnt out. When I thoroughly explained again how the bulbs had blown 9 times in a 5 year old car, they insinuated that they had no proof other than my word. I also provided digital proof that it was a known problem, failed to provide the service and when I took it to Hall Hyundai, they knew exactly what the problem was and provided the warranty work with NO issues. Tysinger also gave me the car back with a new bulb even though I said to leave it alone. The new bulb makes that DRL barely visible and is about 75% less bright than the drivers side. They refused to provide covered services and gave me the car back in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Unacceptable.

This review is solely for the service department, I did not buy a car here, so I cannot rate their sales service. I called this place on a Monday to make an appointment to get a new key made for my car because I lost one. Talking with the rep on the phone, we made the appointment for the coming Friday. The rep also mentioned that there was a recall on my car for some canister, and they said it would be taken care of that same Friday. The day of my appointment comes, I drop the car off and have a lovely and full day. 6 hours later they call saying my car is ready for pickup. When I get there they are asking me if anyone had ordered the new key and also tells me that they had to order the canister for the recall. This place had my car all day and did not do the two main things I made the appointment for because NO ONE ORDERED THE PARTS THAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR!!! Tysinger, do us a favor and have your service reps pull their heads out of the clouds AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PARTS FOR THE JOBS YOU ARE SCHEDULING!!! Now I have to wait a week for the key and the canister to come in so that I can take another day off of work to drop the car off and have them do the stuff that should have been done today. After this job is done I am never coming to this dealership again for service.

After taking my car in for 2 recalls, an oil change, and a diagnostic for a check engine light; I was called and notified that the fix for my car would be $800... I proceeded to ask if it was completely necessary as well as how longIt would take. I was told that I would receive a call back with an estimated finish time. I proceeded to wait for said phone call; when I didn’t receive a call, I called back to let her know that I didn’t need said services. When I called back, I was notified that services were already rendered. When I asked why, I was told that she(Jessica) was under the impression that I had expressed my consent. I paid these people $984.55 for these repairs, just to return the next morning because my seat heaters that worked fine when I took the car in were no longer working... After returning for the seat heaters I was told that it wasn’t their fault and they would look at it but I would need to pay an additional $140. I proceeded to explain why this wouldn’t work and the manager(Mr.Lee) finally agreed to do the diagnostic for free and if it was their fault he’d fix it. I didn’t hear from them until the end of my work day and I called multiple times. When they finally called me back, Jessica let me know what the fuses were disconnected and they fixed it... When I returned to the dealership Jessica gave me my keys and receipt and Mr. Lee rushed out to let me know that the passenger seat fuse was blown and said I must have spilled something on it and then turned on the seat heater, but he fixed it anyway... He said nothing about the fuses being disconnected.I said all of that to say that I will not be returning due to the fact that I was simply disgusted with the way they treated me. I’m sure I can find someone willing to take my money for good reason and without an attitude. I would advise anyone who goes to this dealer for repairs to ask plenty of questions prior to receiving any work.

I absolutely LOVE tysinger! I just bought my first car from them yesterday and they made the process as easy and convenient as possible. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I walked in, up until the moment I drove off the lot. When we came in my two year old son was given an entertainment packet filled with a coloring book, stickers, and a puzzle which he loved. They even helped to keep him entertained while we went over paperwork. They made sure that we left satisfied and treated the process as more than just a deal but made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted in a car. I am livid...purchased my car here...they claim to have no loaners and would have to rent one while my car is being serviced.However, Ive been using @suttle motors for my oil changes and several other problems and they have always made certain that I have a loaner...I m looking for a new car and this dealership will not be an option. When I went to the rental counter to verify they had no rentals, the associate advised it must be approved by my maintenance agent and refused to answer if they had available vehicles or not....If a dealership that I didnt purchase from can treat me better than where I made a purchase...to me...thats not good!

I came in to check my vehicle warranty and Karone Johnson did not try to pressure me gave me the information I asked for very respectful young man.he even helped me pair my new cell without trying to push me to buy anything. Safe to say I will be buying my next vehicle from him very helpful.

The customer service I received from Bill Upton, Pamela Farmer and Brenda Ortiz was top notch. This is how car buying should be.I received poor customer service and was insulted from one of there competitors who definitely didnt have there Priorities in place, it cost them a sale.Do yourself a favor, if your looking for a new Hyundai go see Bill and the team at Tysinger and have it done the right.

Although my service department experience was terrible dealing with a certain individual. One of the sales associates’ and the manager of the service department made this rating change to five stars. When I discussed my discrepancy with a sales associate about communication, I then started to get all kinds of updates on my car and time of availability, so thank you so much for that. Also the manager of services after talking to him about one of his workers he was more that valuable in trying to correct the wrongs and understanding also making me feel better about Tysinger again. So thank you to all that played there part in a disaster that turn into A1 customer service.

DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!Very very rude!! Called multiple times over a span of ten days to try and bring my car in to have it looked at for electrical issues. Lady I asked about a rental was very rude and inconsiderate and gave no reason why that wasnt going to be a possibility. Called the manager on three different occasions and NEVER received a call back. Called Hall Hyundai and they immediately got me an appointment within 5 minutes for the NEXT MORNING. The earliest Tysinger was willing to look at my car was Friday afternoon. I wouldnt recommended this place to anybody. The last two times Ive brought my car there they have failed to update the software on my car like they should and do the thorough check theyre required to do while my car is still under warranty. The VERY LAST TIME I WILL EVER BRING MY CAR THERE they charged me for a service I wanted... however they didnt do it as kept my car back there for HOURS! The ONLY reason this is a five star is so future customers like you will see this.

I trust their service and ability to work on the car itself, however there were several issues with my last appointment. First I had called 4 days ahead to change my appointment to a later time in the day. I was assured that the appointment was changed and updated but the day before the appointment I received a reminder with the original time. I couldnt call to sort out since it was Thanksgiving Day. I arrived at 230 and they still had me in the system for the old time. Thankfully they still took me in. I was given a 2 hour estimate and returned at 430 to wait till everything was closed out. I was told itd be ready within 30 minutes. 530 rolled around and my car still wasnt ready. I finally got to leave at 6, 3 and a half hours later. The work done was great. I always appreciate the cleanliness of the car after service and the attention to detail. I just wish I hadnt spent an hour and a half in the lobby waiting after the estimated time

As always the service department at Tysinger goes the extra mile to make you happy. Justine completed the scheduled service and the annual inspection in a timely manner; then told me that he had to keep it over night. He wanted to fix a major scratch and it had to dry. As I was driving away in my loaner I was thinking why would I ever buy a car somewhere else.

The Tysinger team is always pleasant and courteous.I came in late on a Saturday and Crystal was more tham willing to.help me.The property is clean and well maintained.I had just left work and had not eaten lunch so they took time to find me a snack and offered me soda or water too.The service team washed my car too and it was immaculate when I left.Upon leaving, I felt like I had been treated like family.A customary practice at Tysinger.

I visited with Lloyd Francis to see about a possible deal on a new or used vehicle to relieve me of impossible maintenance and repair costs of my 10 year Saturn, which I am still making payments on. I bought from Lloyd in 2012 (not the Saturn) and he was gracious, understanding of how disgruntled I was to even have to buy a vehicle at that time and gave me room to make a decision. I enjoyed my experience with him, remembered him and was compelled to visit him again in Sept 2018 simply to see what kind of a deal was possible for me at this time. I got the same experience and he was able to easily structure a deal on a new vehicle. Finance manager Pam Farmer is also a joy to work with.

I had my 2016 Elantra GT serviced at Tysinger for the first time yesterday. I had been taking it to West Broad Hyundai for service, but have been dissatisfied with the poor customer service. My husband has been using Tysinger for several years and has been extremely pleased, so I decided to give them a try. Crystal was my Service Rep and she is awesome! I could not have had better service. Crystal is extremely courteous and professional AND she knows what shes doing. She even sent me her mobile number so I can contact her, if needed, and a copy of my receipt. I am very pleased and will take my car to Tysinger for service from now on.

The rating is a 3 out of 5 only because management listened to my concerns, apologized and ensured me they would look into the matters I brought to their attention. Without going into great detail, two hours after my scheduled oil change appointment, my car hadn’t even been touched. There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience imposed on me as I was waiting, with my child, in the lobby. Also absent were apologies and information about when my car “might” be worked on. This experience was not the first of its kind and came on the heels of multiple attempts to reach someone for a repair quote a few weeks earlier. I left 3 messages, yes 3, and to date no one ever bothered to call me back. ( I had that repair done elsewhere). Were it not for the fact that the oil change was part of my routine care package, I would not have returned for that. Again, I’m appreciative of management’s apparent commitment to follow up on my concerns and ensure quality service in the future. I look forward to hearing from them.

Tysinger Hyundai always notifies me of required vehicle actions ahead of time and easily sets up appointments even during the COVID-19 crisis. Required actions taken care of without returns and customer service reps are always pleasant and courteous.

Very nice service department, with people who seem genuinely interested in assisting. The lounge/waiting area is comfortable with WiFi, snacks, and coffee. Overall, a good experience.
