They had most of what I wanted. The deli is small as the store is small. The staff seem like a family, and helpful.

Line moved quickly and the cashier was very pleasant. Good selection of foods and even a decent vegetarian section.

Every time I come here, the employees are rude. They are short with customers, don’t smile, and act like it’s a major inconvenience to be there. The store is clean and well organized but I quit going here unless I’m in a rush purely due to the customer service.

Went to order chicken in the Deli. Fellow took my order & was nice enough, but kept sneezing & coughing. No mask was worn, as not required, but he did a poor job of covering his mouth & nose. I was ordering chicken for next morning & figured he wouldnt be handling it.

We got what we needed but everything is overpriced. Was quite sticker shocked.

I didnt have enough money for all of my groceries and as I was trying to choose what to take off the order, the cashier, Ashley, said Ill buy your groceries. I cant let you go without. It was the sweetest thing that I have experienced in years. The employees are all very polite and caring. I would recommend this place to all.

I was going to do some shopping at the Safeway in Hamilton Montana however walking around in the store I saw no less than eight people shopping and not wearing masks. A couple were even in check out with store staff not doing anything about it. No precautions are being taken at this store. The store is being reported to proper authorities as not abiding by state mandated laws regarding wearing masks and using proper precautions against COVID-19.

I havent shopped at Safeway for years because it was depressing to me. Now theyve remodeled the store and its bright, cheery, and everything seems to be in a very convenient place. I like it alot and I think you will too

The store was rearranged and I had a hard time finding where things are located now. Also, the store was completely under stocked. I went in for ground beef and they only had the funky rolls of burger. Many items were not stocked. I think this store could do better.

I enjoy shopping at Safeway because usually its easy in & out, short lines and they have a good selection of healthy foods, organic, and some things you really dont see everywhere else. And their small clearance sections always have something I can use and at 50% off I typically grab more than one item off those racks:)

Its a nice store but its a little cramped and almost no one was wearing a mask.

Safeway is a fine store. My only gripe is that their bags are not awesome. I cant remember how many times Ive lost groceries to the ground from my car to the house. Maybe too much recycling? Please get stronger bags. Thank you.

Small store, crowded aisles, carts that dont turn/steer. Associate in the deli was super friendly & helpful, but every other employee we passed either walked past without any kind of acknowledgement or avoided us altogether. Cashier was also rather unfriendly. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in my shopping experience & most likely wont be back.

Ever since they changed all the isles and moved stuff its a hassle. Store feels outdated and could use a total remodel

I rarely go to Safeway unless something I need is on sale. The prices are much higher there than Super 1. I will say I appreciate that Safeway has a recycle bin for all my plastic bags.

The only grocery store in our town. The pricing of products are good for the most part. The flower shop is very good as is the deli and bakery. Havent tried the pharmacy. Ive been able to find everything I need here.

A nothing real special grocery store but I love the friendly employees!

They have this awesome points system when you download their app you can get points for free food, toilet paper, gas (you can also use those points at any Exxon gas station) and more. I love checking out and watching my price drop dramatically just for being a Safeway club card holder.

Good local grocery store. Love that its open late! They seem to have pretty good produce. Milk is always expensive (like pretty much anywhere in the valley). Make sure you get a copy of the current ads (on your right when you first walk in) as some deals are only good if you use the coupons from the ad. If you use the kids shopping cart (with the car on front), its like driving on the ice-lol...the wheels randomly swerve and you might take out a cereal box or two if you take the turns too fast.

Had to wait for cashier to come to his till to get the customer through. Another cashier took care of me and several other customers. She called him over the intercom twice before he got to the till. He was about 20 feet away. Everything else was great.

Decided to stop in on my way home from Hamilton to see what the selection was like compared to peoples market in Darby which is closer to where I live. Bought 2 loafs of bread as that was the only thing in the store cheaper than Peoples Market in Darby. Drove the 33 miles home, opened 1 loaf of bread to make a sandwich and the center of the entire loaf was molded. In an extreme fit of rage I opened the other bag ready to dismiss this outrage.....and that loaf was also molded. Guess I figured out why bread was cheaper.

Safeways produce, such as fruit, has ALWAYS been horrid! Never has there been a time where I HAVENT purchased fruit covered in mold. When it comes to the berries, it never fails. I avoid the obvious moldy fruit that is right in your face, but just when you think you have a decent bunch, you get home to see all the fruit in the middle could grow legs and walk away.As for the staff, rude. My husband just tonight was rushed out the door by an older woman cashier when he was leaving plenty of time before closing. She made sure to make snide comments for him to hear after making an announcement on the intercom about how soon it would be closing time. My husband smiled at her and grabbed what he needed as she huffed Doesnt mean take 10 more minutes. And then paced around him with a scowl on her face. Classy.

Went in for a half gallon of whole milk, they didnt have it. They have almond milk, soy milk , coconut milk, goat milk...i just need normal milk. The clerk was very nice though!

Small town store owned by the same Corp. That owns the Albertsons in townPrices are overall comparable, but in many cases some things are a bit pricier. No bakery. Small deli. Inside is dated. Products are in an unusual layout. Not an enjoyable experience, but they are close to the main part of town and I can walk there.

I like Safeway prices and they carry stuff I cant find in most stores. They always wear masks and are friendly.

Theres always good deals if you pay attention and have one of the Safeway Club cards!

Easily the worst grocery store in town. I cant imagine how theyre getting all these stars, unless the people rating the place have never been to any of the areas other stores (which lady said its the only store in town? There are FOUR OTHERS).You are guaranteed to spend more time waiting in line than actually shopping; they only ever have 1, maybe 2, cashiers on duty, even at busy times like weekends and afternoons. This is the only store where I could confidently say that 95% of the times I shop here, I get stuck waiting in line. And the cashiers are never terribly bothered to get you out of there quickly. Sometimes nobodys on duty and you have to ring a little bell to call somebody, and hope theyre near enough to hear it.Beware sale items; sure glad I checked the expiration date on the big tub of yogurt I almost bought, since it expired in 2 days. Produce poor quality; squishy apples and moldy berries. Also, two separate cashiers have forgotten to give me cash back from my debit card.The only positive is that their credit card system is fast. If they didnt have the best deals on dairy I would happily never set foot in this store again. Save your time (and likely money) and go to Hamilton Market or Super 1. Hell, Albertsons is the same dang company now but they choose to have more cashiers at any given time. I have no idea why Safeway cant seem to figure that one out.

There was only me and one old lady in the store. Despitet her age she was a ninja with a shopping cart managing to always be in my way. Id see her in one isle so Id intentionally go to a different isle to avoid her. But no matter how hard I tried to avoid her she always managed to be in my isle, in front of anything I could possibly be shopping for. At one point after seeing her in the bakery, I ran across the store to the opposite side in hope to change my position in relation to hers. No luck, she miraculously made her way there before I did. Finally made it to the cashier and yes she beat me there....only to pay with pennies.

Not the best, but a decent little store. Employees could be a little nicer. No bakery, but go to Super 1 for that anyway.

We recommend that you do not shop at this store. They put rancid food on their shelves.I have had serious food poisoning on several occasions. They are overpriced on all products.The store manager in not a nice person. We filed complaints with the main store customer serviceand they told the store manager in Hamilton to tell me not to shop there anymore.
