I went in super nervous even though ive been there so many times before but this time i really needed a big change. My stylist walked me through everything and she gave me everything i wanted and more. Super friendly and affordable. I would recommend to a friend in a heartbeat.

My mom just got her hair cut on Sunday by Joi (pronounced Joy). She was INCREDIBLE. She listened. She was precise. She took her time. She styled her hair beautifully after she made sure everything was correct with her cut. And she checked and double checked the picture my mom brought in to make sure she got it exactly right. I would highly recommend her.

I went to bangs in Hamburg a couple of weeks ago had my haircut and dyed. I absolutely loved it, until I got home and straighten my hair the next day and realized that there was a big chunk of my hair that wasnt dyed in the back (my hair is like an Auburn and I had my hair dyed blue black witch the blue didnt take it all but I didnt really mind because its still look good) so I ended up calling and telling them that there was a part that was missing the dye. She had me come in the next day And re-dyed my hair with a new kind of dye that isnt supposed to be as harsh on your hair I just had it died a couple days prior. I was super happy when I left the studio it looked great but 2 days later my family and I went on vacation to an indoor water park for 4 days as soon as my hair got a little bit wet (it literally got wet only because I got splashed I never put my hair in the water or under the water or anything like that) purple dye started running down my face. It was horrible!!! There was dye everywhere! It got all over my bathing suit and when I put my hair up in a towel cuz I didnt know what else to do it totally ruined the towel. When I got back up to the hotel room I washed my hair and purple water kept coming out of my hair non-stop I washed it four times until the water was clear I got out of the shower put my hair up in a towel totally ruined another towel, once I thought my hair was dry (blow dried it) I went to bed I completely ruined their pillow case it dyed it purple......at least the hotel was very understanding to what was going on and it did not charge me for it, went back to the water park tried not getting my hair wet of course being in indoor water park it got a little wet and yet again purple dye came running down my face I went back to the hotel room washed again and it was just non stop dye coming out of my hair...... I called bangs as soon as we got back from our vacation the woman on the phone told me sometimes youll have some runoff from dye especially dark dye. I told her I completely understand that however it wasnt just some run off the dye almost completely came out of my hair its all patchy now some parts of it are black some parts of it are brown and it looks terrible........ She told me I could come in and have it available yet but I would have to pay this time....... I did not go back I spent over $125 the first time when I went and had my hair done and dyed I even bought their super expensive shampoo and conditioner for dyed hair at the hair studio..... I understand they redid my hair once but it was because of their mistake and then the second time its not my fault whatever dye the woman use washed right out of my hair and I have no idea why but I wasnt going to spend another hundred dollars especially when I already spent that much and it looks horrible and every time I take a shower a little bit of color still comes off... I will not be returning to bangs......

Erynn did an AMAZING job on my hair and helped me get to the icy blonde I wanted! She’s personable and easy to talk to while I’m there getting my hair done. She never disappoints with getting my hair to look the way I envision it!

My mother took my son to get his haircut tonight and Erin was his hairdresser. Boy oh boy did she do an amazing job!! My mother said that she was so gentle with the clippers and kept him calm when he got anxious. The blue balloon was the icing on his cake❤️

The workers did not listen to my wants at all, i asked for a honey blonde color and was given platinum. The length was supposed to be to the collar bones but my hair just barely meets my shoulders, not only that but the layers look terrible! I had pink in my hair from a previous dye job at a different one of their establishments of which i was told could be removed but it stayed in, i now have very noticeable pink patches in completely platinum hair. The place where the lighter blonde meets the root looks completely odd and it seems there wasnt even an attempt at making them look blended. All around i was not listened to the worker that did my hair hardly took no as an answer when i decided to go no further and it feels as though they are only in it for the money and not customer satisfaction. If i could give 0 stars i would. Worst experience ive ever had with a place and i had to come back five different times to be told i could only have it dyed over brown! This haircut cost 300 dollars and not a thing was done correctly! The manager did not help but repeatedly told me that the worker has tried her best this is outrageous! I never even received a refund. I am beyond upset with the service i received.

I got the Deva Curl hair cut. It’s where they don’t use a comb and they leave your hair dry to work around your curls. My stylist said it’s to minimize the “Christmas tree look” with curly hair. It looked okay when she styled it for me, but when I did it on my own, it was very “Christmas tree” like. I went back to get it shaped better. I then straightened my hair and the cut is so choppy and uneven. If you plan on leaving your hair curly and NEVER straightening it, the Deva Curl hair cut is fine. But if you’d like to straighten your hair and have it look decent, don’t get that cut. My stylist also told me it was only $40 for the Deva haircut while a regular cut, wash and style was $34. So I went ahead and did it. When I cashed out, she said “oh sorry it’s actually $50 I misspoke”. With tip, I spent $65 for a choppy, uneven haircut that I am unhappy with.

The stylist are great and work with you to get the results you want. This is the place to go for any style cut/color/highlight. Theyre amazing.

They were wonderful and so nice! I got my whole head colored and it didnt turn out how I wanted but they recolored it for me without giving me a hard time or charging me. Really great experience for really great price. Would go back again.

I usually go to Bangs on Transit and I love it there. I went to bangs in Hamburg the past two days in a row to get a trim. The first day the wait was an hour long so I left. I went again today and the lady at the desk had a unpleasant attitude towards me and her co workers. I couldnt get a straight answer of how long the wait was gonna be. It wasnt busy I even called 20 minutes prior to see if there was a waiting TV and that I would be there in 15 minutes. I felt very unwelcomed and its very irritating to go to a place where they only accept walk ins but cant provide services that way. Either hire more stylist or start scheduling!... I decided to cross my name out and left to get my ten minute trim somewhere else. Ill go back to bangs in clarence but never again will I go to bangs in Hamburg.

I spent four hours in there the other day getting my hair baliaged and Erynn was my stylist and I could not have had a better experience. All of the staff and workers were so friendly and nice it made my time there extremely enjoyable. Not to mention that she did an AMAZING job on my hair! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Mens hair cut they do a good job at; my only gripe is that its a walk in setup (No appointments), but any day of the week you walk in they have 3 people getting hair colored, cut, waxed, nails done, car detailed, and taxes filed by only ONE staff member. Yep, frusterating to think how could 3 people walk in at the same time (usually an evening time slot which is neeeeeeever the busy time, ever.) to get all the same service that ties up the one hairdresser for 4 hours?. Everytime, but if you do find that magic time when its not full of hair coloring fumes (prob like 10:32am), you can get a decent hair cut at a fair price. I prob wont go back, cant really recommend either, sorry.

Not the end of the world but after I was already in the chair ready to start my cut, they realized they skipped over someone. I had to get up and go back to the waiting area. I get that she was here before me but I just thought it was very unprofessional to call me over and then after Im seated and caped to tell me to go back to the waiting area.
