Here is the reason for 1 star. Paul is very nice , he came out took the measurements for the rooms even fixed the stair. The carpet is nice and the price was fair. Now lets move to the installers. They were a horrible. Showed up late both days. Left an absolute mess the first day. Staples all over and didnt clean up. The second day they finished the job the same way same . Left an absolute mess in every room. Destroyed the walls with gouges and scratches. The corners on some walls will need repair. Other walls will need to be repainted. I did call Paul the first day and let him know about the issues. The installers have a I dont care attitude. Im sorry thats not good enough when I am paying for products and a service IN MY HOME. You better show some respect in someone elses home. We had carpet install in our basement by Lowes before the holidays and the installers were much more professional. Sorry to say we will never go back due to the installers carelessly and unprofessional work

I am very happy with my purchase form Carpet Plus. Sue in sales was very help and patient while I picked out carpet. She let me take the samples home so I could figure out what would look best. They were able to instal the carpets about a week later.The day before my installation was scheduled, I decided to add more carpet. (2 additional rooms, stairs and a hall). I was expecting to have to wait another week or so to get that potion installed but Paul and Sue rearranged their schedule so I can have it all installed and once.Great service, good prices, I recommend!

Really great quality carpet, and the price was great. Weve been to several places looking for the right carpet for us and walked away disappointed several times, either because the wait time was too far out (over a month) or the price just didnt match the quality (or both!) Was very happy to find this spot, carpet picked up in less than 24 hours and Paul is a great guy to work with. Beyond happy with my purchase today!

Paul and his sister helped us pick out the perfect carpet and vinyl today. He even hopped on the phone with our contractor to confirm measurements and that he had all the supplies hed need. We planned on picking everything up at a later date, not realizing theyd be closed as of tonight due to the shutdown.We were not prepared with a vehicle to bring everything home, so Paul offered to deliver everything to us free-of-charge tonight. He helped carry all of he carpet up to the second floor apartment, which was way more than we expected. The customer service cant be beat.

I had a wonderful experience at carpets plus the employees were professional and knowledgeable about their products and helped me choose a carpet that I absolutely love and their installers were great and did a wonderful job putting in my carpets in almost my entire house . I would recommend them to anyone looking for floor covering or carpets.

We have had several floors replaced by Carpets Plus. Vinyl, laminate, and carpet. Each experience has been great. The owner Paul is very knowledgeable and doesnt try to sell you into anything you dont need. This past spring we had Tom install new flooring to our entire upstairs 1000+ sq ft. He did a wonderful job! He was extremely professional and a master Craftsman. If you are in the Southtowns and are in need of flooring I would highly recommend trying out Carpets Plus.

And the owner Paul went way out of his way to Find me the same size molding that I had before because all he had in the store was the wider molding and I didn’t care for it . Horrible experience. The installation guy left my house before I returned to see his work or pay him. When I came home I noticed he had left black marks up and down my stairs from installation tool. He also did a incomplete job on tacking carpet in some areas. Called the owners and they wouldn’t even let me talk. All they wanted to do is praise this guy. Most places do free install. Not this place. My suggestion, shop some were else. This place is not professional.

Paul came out and took measurements of a few rooms we needed carpet in. He called back a few hours later and asked me to take measurements of some of the same areas he had just done. I told him I would and when I tried to give him the measurements he became extremely rude saying, I want you to do exactly what I told you to do. I had a few choice words of my own for him and hung up. He obviously doesnt know what hes doing if he had to ask me to measure just a few hours after measuring himself. I would never do business with this place ever again. Absolutely horrible.

Great Product Selection, Perfect Installation, Fair Pricing. After visiting 4 other flooring places and calling countless others for the best deal, Paul saw to it we had the right luxury vinyl plank waterproof product, bore with us thru two installation date changes because our appliances were delivered late, and assigned us a terrific installer who also put in matching quarter round, pulled and replaced the powder room toilet expertly, pulled and reinstalled the laundry room sink, and installed curved edges where the levels changed or butted carpeting/tile in 3 rooms plus 2 bathrooms. It is now one year after install and there have been zero problems. Thanks Paul!! We’ll go back for carpeting in another year or so.

We just remodeled our 600sq foot 2nd floor and decided to stop here and have a look around.We were inside for about 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon with nobody in sight and decided to leave. Nobody was on the sales floor to help. Watch out for the black corgi / border collie mix dog.S/he bit my girlfriend, the dog seems super friendly and followed us around the store but it kind of snapped after her petting it a few times.

First of all I am masking my real name because I dont want repercussions. Upon going into the store I waited 15 minutes at the register and even called the phone there to get someone to appear at all but after 4 calls from inside the store that no one answered finally someone came from in the back who appeared to be the owner. I mentioned the waiting and calls and he was short with me about it, probably having a bad day but didnt seem concerned at all about how there was no one there and I could have literally walked out with anything from behind the front desk and no one would have even known, not smart but hey its his business or lack thereof for those that walk off and dont wait.I SPECIFICALLY asked if the new carpet would have a bad smell because I am an asthmatic and disabled as well with an immune disorder and he became confrontational, marched off to get some sticker to show me it was approved and basically verbally beat back my concerns in a show of being offended so I backed down and just reiterated that I was concerned for health reasons and that another person who was there did have a massive smell issue from VOCs from his store and he denied it could have been his carpet.So I buy three rooms altogether when said and done, which were very small for a total price of over 1200 dollars with installation (worker did not clean up shavings or cuttings and had virtually no people person skills whatsoever) and by the way the installer suggested I leave him in my house unattended for 2 hours and seemed unwilling to go ahead with me there but eventually went forward. Seemed weird to me, who leaves a stranger in your home with your valuables and all your private financial paperwork and identity information?After the carpet was installed (my windows were wide open at the time with fans on) it looked okay but there was a huge mess that had to be vacuumed up from the install cutting and he left two bags by my door to be disposed of at the curb where he took the carpet. He questioned my choice of bank for the check I wrote him and frankly it was offensive but again no people skills from virtually anyone there, you wont be surprised now that I have told you.Sure enough first night with windows closed because its a cold spell and the smell was HORRENDOUS. The carpet is giving off massive chemical smell and its giving me a sore throat and headache. My asthma is through the roof and my pain levels are increased from my joints in my body. I am stuck in a house with carpet installed that is physically hurting me for the foreseeable future and I dont have the financial means to do anything about it at all, I AM STUCK.1. Dont believe anything they say about the carpet not smelling bad or oppressive with a high chemical smell to it. They are lying PERIOD.2. Expect to clean up after the install with your vacuum and any odds and ends the installer leaves for you, but he will take the carpet to the curb.3. BE CAREFUL OF THE DOG at the door when you come in. Its a beautiful dog and seems friendly with wagging tall but after a few pets gently to the head and back and the dog showed its teeth and arched its head. Dont approach the dog or let your children by it. Ive read others actually were bitten in the reviews given here and I am not surprised.4. If you decide you want to save money and deal with everything I mentioned go for it. You do get carpet BUT NOT THE ONE I PICKED AT THE STORE, but it was similar in color, but frankly I was not that upset about that point because I was buying the least expensive brand I could get.If I could vote a zero I would and if I knew about the smell I am having to live with that is attacking my health adversely everyday, I would choose to not pick this guys carpet especially after his promises and insisting it did not smell of chemicals.Not impressed with these people, they are horrible business people but WILL SAVE YOU MONEY and thats what the trade off is.

Walked in, was greted by friendly looking dog behind the door.. the dog bit me lightly as i walked in.. didnt get hurt.. but the dog was very uneasy and jumpy, although it was wagging its tail.. beautiful dog.. but something was not right.. and it should not be biting customers for entering the store..Stood at the counter unnoticed for 10 minutes as a lady took cair of another customer (not a word, or even a wave to acknowledge i was even there)I finally made up an excuse and left.. very confused about what just happened..
