I checked around with other companies prior to Maaco doing the job. The other companies wanted to replace the entire fender to repair rust within the fender, Maaco cutout the bad area and replace with with metal and then repainted the entire rear fender. I am very happy with their service and price. I would recommend this company based on my experience.

I had them paint a new hood and replacement bumper for a Mercedes. Paint came out amazing. They are currently doing a full paint job for another car for me. I would highly recommend them in the future auto body and repair.

Really really good thorough craftsmanship (100% dent and body repair) but the paint color isn’t an exact match and anyone could tell my door is a different color than the rest of the car. It’s better than before at least and at first glance the color blends.

I saw there work beforehand and drove 3 and a half hours to get my truck done there and it looks fantastic they did everything I wanted and were very easy to work with thumbs way up!

Painted my 99 Miata. Paint looked good, couple places in the paint that need touched up, but Maaco’s doing it for free so no complaints here. Good, fast service for a smaller vehicle.

Just picked up my 2000 Subaru Impreza from Maaco in Hagerstown, MD. This was my first experience with a body shop for rust work to be fixed and needless to say it was a good experience. Back in December I spoke with Raymond and got a free quote for the quarter panel rust, the bumpers and my hood. I said it would be a few months before I came in to get it done. I took the car this monday and it had decided to just get the quarter panels done. I had a new quote within 5 minutes and had my car at the shop and finished within a week. The pictures dont do enough justice, I had attempted to fix the rust on my own but after looking at my mess for a while I took it to the pros to touch it up.(I also drove home through road salt and snow). After my experience I would definitely recommend Maaco of Hagerstown and will be back if I ever needed it. Very friendly and fast service. Thank you!!

This Maaco is a cut above most Maacos. They very professional. I have delt with them since 2012 for a few things over the years, I always notice their paint comes out looking very good. Their prices are very fair compared to other maacos and their prices beat any other body shop in Hagerstown... I have never had any issues with paint peeling ofcause I always pay them to prep my cars suvs etc for the paint so it will stick. I have my 2001 GMC Yukon there right now being painted and I will add pictures of it when its done. If you got a older car, its crazy to pay 3 to 6k for a paint job on a older car that is your daily driver and will see wear and tear, Maaco is the perfect place for a daily driver to get it a fresh look. Go on youtube and look up macco paint jobs, your see their good.. I am going end up paying 1550 for my yukon to painted the same color and with them doing all the sanding and fixing rust spots and fixing my driver door that did shut good... You cant beat their prices.update jusgt got it today on 7-25-20 and it looks awesome.. For the price you can not beat this deal.. I am getting compliments on it in forums about the Yukon I am on as well. This Maaco did a great job

The car was supposed to be ready on April 2nd & we didnt get it back until today(April 27). There was always another reason why it would take longer. We paid $4,000 & there are things that werent fixed properly. The seal on my door that was replaced due to an accident sticks out, so now water leaks in the car & gets my seat wet, my window doesnt work & my door has a rust spot that wasnt covered. Now we have to get the brakes fixed & get the airbags & seatbelts checked. I understand its a collision place so maybe everything couldnt be repaired, but the door could have been done right. They left grease/oil on the arm rest and left a big black bag in the backseat with some old car parts. We just paid 4 grand & it wasnt fixed right. Do I now have to spend more money to have the door replaced again? Id love to have some sort of refund but I dont see that happening. But it should be made right.

I brought my car in due to an unfortunate car accident; the back of my car specifically the trunk was completely smashed in. I brought it in terrified to hear how much it would cost to fix and how much time it would take. When I finally spoke to the workers there they told me very clearly what needed to be done and helped me find the best possible price to get that done. The workers were very kind and helpful during my experience. When I went to pick up my vehicle everything looked completely brand new even dents I had on the side of my car from 4 years ago were completely fixed. My car looked better than it had in years. I would advise anyone who needs any car work done to get it done here they are reliable, have great customer service, and will go above and beyond to make sure you and your care are well taken care of.

Great prices for good work. Their hours of operation did make it a slight ordeal to get an estimate at first but they treated me well and got the work done asap

This was a nightmare. it started off that kyle seemed like such a sweet person only to find out how he lied upon lie. i was so surprised at how he turned out to be. he made my husband and i deals if we would bring our van, truck, trailer and golf cart in he would give us a good price on painting them. in the meantime my tahoe got side swiped so he said he would talke care of that also. we trusted him cause we thought he was a good person. well as it turns out. the horse trailer took forever as did everything else he did. they would tell you it would be done in 4 days and it wouldnt be done for 3 weeks. the trailer came back pitted as you can see in the pictures and now rust is coming through. kyle said he would take care of it and then told us he wouldnt at the end of all the mess. told us it wasnt under warranty . the van had to be painted twice due to runs in the paint, over spray and numerous missed spots that i dont know how anyone could miss. then to top it off the rose color had numerous scratches, and bubble in the paint and they cracked the spoiler. again he promised to repaint all the rose trim and back out on his promise. the van took a good 4 weeks and was suppose to be done in a week. and came back a mess. and we had problems with it running after we got it back. the one employee named ray is rude and has no idea how to treat customers. we had it out with him a few times. we feel he might have tampered with our vehicle. cant prove it, but it ran well until something was put in our gas tank to try and mess up our engine. luckily we could have it fixed. then the golf cart which they never even sanded down before they painted it and had to be gone over 4 times. he waived the fee he was going to charge us for the golf cart cause it was horrible and there was no way to lie his way out of it. it too is rusting due to the fact that the paint job was not done right. our dually took 4 weeks because they kept missing spots on it, the paint bubble in different spots and they forgot to paint in between the be and the cab. then to top it off when i questioned about what they were going to do about the stuff that wasnt taken care of they kept telling me they were going to take care of it and then months later told me they werent. i was also told that the reason they could do a good price on some it was they made the estimate to the insurance company from my tahoe, higher so they could put the overage towards the golf cart and van. and when all of this was going on. kyle gave me his cellphone number so i could contact him personally because of all the way things were being handled by ray. well then he stopped taking my calls cause his wife thought we were messing around. REALLY ?????? so he wasnt allowed to talk to me until i messaged her and told her i was a happily married woman and i didnt appreicate being accused of messing around with her husband. i thought he was just being nice giving me the number. i have all the conversations and never was there anything to make her believe that. no real conversations other then business. and nothing at all suggestive. when i told his wife what was going on with him not going through with the promises she said she doesnt get involved with the business. but she made him stop responding to me cause she thought he was messing around on her . then i also had to deal with ray who would hang up or use vulgar language and was totally rude and disrespectful. i have more pictures and all my bill of sales for anyone to see. i will be going to the insurance company and reporting him for fraud and possibly taking this to court. word to the wise dont deal with this business. there is so much more i could put here, but i think you will get the just of it. i just called kyle and tried to give him one more chance to make it right, before i give my review and he still refuses to do so. 10 min later ray called me back and threatened me told me not to do this review. or i will be sorry

The work is lovely. Very efficient. On return of my car the interior had several dollars worth of quarters in my cup holder were gone and the changing cord for my phone is gone. Small frustrations but body work appreciated.

This Maaco location was highly recommended to me by my father. My father has a collection of classic cars, all of which he has entrusted Kyle to paint. His extensive expertise and value for quality services are unmatched by most in the business. That being said, I was dead set on using Maaco for my spoiler installation on my new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. I visited the site to get an installation quote, and left with an appointment set that weekend free of charge. Its obvious that they value their client base as they went an extra mile for a new client. I cant say enough good things about Kyle and his shop.

Maaco did a great job painting my 1970 Javelin with semi-gloss hot rod black. They waited a few extra days to paint because the weather was too hot for this tricky paint. Turned out great, no runs, no dirt no issues. And you cant beat the price!

It took awhile to get front clip for my car but they called said it arrived an hour after we left because i was just checking on it and he said its now priority #1.. i cant wait to see it and the black pearl paint job😎

On July 1st, I had dropped my pickup off for some body work that was needed as well as a paint job. I was originally told that the job would be completed within two weeks from the date that I had dropped off my truck. After two weeks time, I was notified by the owner that the repairs on my vehicle would be pushed back a few days due to the amount the volume of work that the shop had at the time. I was completely understanding and told the owner that I didnt mind waiting a few extra days. However, a few days later, I received a call stating that the truck would not be ready within the specified time frame and would be pushed back again. When the truck was finally ready to be picked up on August 10, 2020, there was a large paint run on the right side of the truck bed, areas were not sanded prior to painting, and there were rust holes that did not get repaired per my request when the truck was originally estimated. The owner made an attempt to make things right to repair the known issues and guaranteed that the truck would be ready to pick up by Saturday, August 15. The owner called me that Friday to ask if I could wait a few more days before picking up the truck. After visiting this MAACO location multiple times, and expressing how the truck was my only means of transportation, I was finally able to pick up my vehicle the following Tuesday after 11:00 AM.In the past, I have heard about MAACOs abysmal reputation, yet I still wanted to give this franchise a chance to work on my classic truck. I realized that the amount I spent to fix my vehicle was incomparable to other restorations, but I feel that the lack of integrity, communication, and professionalism on the part of the owner is what will steer me away from this organization in the future.

Heard about Mako from a neighbor, saw what they did to his truck and thought Id take my wifes car and see what they could do to it .It looks brand new really pleased with the job they did .We had peeling clear coat on the hood and front fender a cracked rear bumper and door dings. They fixed all of those and painted the whole car with new paint and clear coat and it looks brand new .Really pleased. Great job Maaco

Rock damage to the hood from a passing truck, and deep scrapes on the right rear panel were repaired on time and completely to my satisfaction with top-notch quality at very reasonable cost. A few years ago another company in Middletown wanted to replace the entire rear bumper at over 4 times the cost. MAACO indicated such a replacement was not needed and performed an expertly done repair to my great relief! I should have gone there sooner. Maaco on Conrad Court in Hagerstown is highly recommended.

I paid for a tuxedo black premium paint job. At first glance the paint job looks really nice but upon closer inspection I found some issues. They painted over some rust spots, didn’t paint the interior door jambs or the underside of the hood, and it appears as if dust fell into the paint and was painted over. It doesn’t seem as if they spent the necessary amount of time on the prep work either (rough spots, overspray). The upside to the paint job was that it was much more affordable than a regular garage. If you do go to Maaco I recommend doing your own prep work. Also, make sure that the quote you get won’t change. I was quoted at $1300 and when I checked in a few days later it was still $1300, but the day I went to get my vehicle I was told it would be $1500 due to the extra work. Once a garage gives you a quote and you give the go ahead, the price shouldn’t change. Overall, I would say the paint job is decent but the prep work wasn’t. I got what I paid for, so three stars. If they would have spent more time on prep work and paid a bit more attention to detail, I would have given them a higher rating.

I took my 1998 Toyota RAV4 2dr sport with nicks, faded paint, sun damage, dents, and rust spots over the wheel wells. Ray estimated one week for the job to be completed. In one week, my Toyota RAV4 was showroom quality; all the nooks and crannies, dents, nicks, rust, etc., were gone and my small truck was brand new again. Thank you MAACO for a phenomenal job. The customer service is great. The cost for full paint job is a value deal. This is the only center in hagerstown so they are super busy, therefore be patience with them. It takes days to paint a car but due to the amount of cars they service, it may take 2 weeks, which is great if you understand they work hard and will do the job right. If u see anything wrong they will go above and beyond to fix any areas you do not like. So take ur time, inspect ur vehicle, then point out imperfections... Its your money, make sure your happy. I would reccomend this maaco to anyone. ***Remember they are busy so add another week or more to whatever time they say your car will be ready. If you can be patience, you will love the service u receive and the price to paint your vehicle compared to other shops.

Great work and affordable. My wife got her truck painted and this business did an absolute fantastic job! The manager was very down to earth and his staff was very respectful. The staff was very helpful, getting my service completed early since I had no way of getting back home on my own after dropping the car off. Work was done very well. I was very pleased with the service.

Raymond and the staff just repainted front bumper on black infiniti. They did excellent and on time.

The paint looked nice, but they kept my car way longer than they said they would. It was quite obvious that they did a sloppy and fast job at taping before they painted because there’s paint all over my head lights, on seals, my door locks and everything else. They scratched my rear windshield in multiple spots (4-6in circular scratches), left dust all over the inside of my car interior, and returned my car with an almost empty tank of gas (was around 1/2 when I dropped it off). All they did was half vacuum my car and shine my tires and blow me off. Never going back there again.

Very professional and quick service less than 2 days

Google doesn’t have an option to pick a rating of nothing! Worst business I’ve ever dealt with! Paying out of pocket, “Guaranteed” best service to an 05 Ford Mustang after wrecking. Took almost two weeks to even get my car back. Paid the price that was due after being told my car was “good” for pickup. Not even 5 minutes after leaving their shop I almost wrecked again because they never aligned my car. Another 4 days goes by after I’ve already paid them their money for their work I’m “guaranteed” once again that my car is ready for pick up with no problems. Following my girlfriend home one night after a night out she says to me when we pull in the driveway you have a headlight out. Mind you this is literally the same day after I got my car back AGAIN! So once again I take my car back to their shop for them to fix the headlight. Also at this time nothing they had charged me for a new grill when they put my old wreck grill back on my car. Mind you I leave about 25-30 minutes away from their business. I asked the man if there was anything he could do about how many times I’ve had to come back, he gave me 40.00 for gas for the amount of times I had to come to their shop to have my car fixed after being “guaranteed” it was fixed! Oh, but it doesn’t end there. Having my car back for about two days when I come outside to a flat tire, a flat BRAND NEW TIRE I WAS CHARGED for when it fact they put a used, faulty tire on my car. Finally having my car back for about a month, I had taken it to a garage to have it inspected when the man asked me if I had had my car repaired before because he noticed that the paint wasn’t the same color as the original paint, it looked like an orange peel. He also began to show me were the hood, bumper, and fender were not properly inline with the car. At this point I’m completely done with this business. I asked them to return half of my 5,500 OUT OF POCKET payment for the half ass job they did on my car. The only thing they offered me was a “guaranteed” final fix! Needless to say, I’ve about had it with this so called repair shop. Now the process of taking them to court for a full repayment of my car so I can actually have it fixed by professionals who know what they are doing. DONNOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I just got my car (bumper) painted at Macco and they did a great job! They even did a touch up on something that I didn’t even ask them to do! Also very nice man at the front desk! I believe his name was Ray I would definitely do business with them again in the future!

Durability of the paint is questionable. It scratches easily, have a car painted there and seeing it on the back you can see that they painted over without considering sanding it so it doesnt look with bumps.

Helped me when no one else would. Wrecked my car and couldn’t afford to pay for it being a disabled Vet. They fixed and told me to pay when my check came in for my disability. It took over 8 months to pay then and they gladly did it for me. They told me you paid the price for us when I went to Afghanistan. I literally cried. Thank you so much Maaco Staff.

I had nothing but a great experience when I took my car the Maaco in Hagerstown. My hood, bumper, front headlight and passenger door all needed to be reworked, replaced, and repainted. The turn around was quick, the paint job was gorgeous, and the car turned out better than it looked when I bought it from the dealership. Fair work at a good price.

I dropped my Pontiac Vibe off for some body work last summer. The car was finished in LESS than an hour, exactly as described, at half the price that I was quoted at another shop. Everyone I dealt with acted as professional as I would have hoped, and my experience was absolutely stellar. I would wholeheartedly recommend Maaco to everyone I know!

Paint job wasnt bad but they forgot to sand it down before they sprayed it. But it was a cheap paint job and you get what you pay for.

Worst experience ever !!! I still need to return to have my hood redone !!!It was one of the main reasons I had it done in the first place !! All they did was paint right over top of chipping paint. One month into it.... and the paint started cracking...Don’t waist your time or money!!!
