Not bad prices. Plenty big. Love the produce selection and the exotic foreign fruits especially. You can stock up on non perishable goods at discount. Would recommend.

Agree - I feel Weis is a quality place to shop. The Meats and seafood are top Grade and the store is always clean. Like many businesses at current time, they are short on staff.Hopefully, the $500.00 sign on bonus will attract additional people ASAP!

Everything about this grocery store is awful and terrible. All the young men and women working here are fooling around while working. The food and isles are so mislocated and service is terrible and awful. I don’t ever recommend eating or shopping at this store. It is so terrible, the smell etc. the meat was dry and had mold and everything on it. The workers are cussing and screaming their lungs out loud outside. This place is just horrid I hope nobody ever has to experience what I experienced.Edit: The manager has poor training, and doesn’t know how to train his employees. My husband works for OSHA with over 19+ years of experience and he said this is absurd.

What kind of grocery store in Hackettstown New Jersey or is a very very busy town closes at 9:00 p.m. you absolutely out of your mind those hours you opened at 7:00 you close at 9:00 those are deli hours not supermarket hours so disappointing

Be careful on packaged vegetables (Weis brand) in salad section and bread. Both rot easily. Make sure you check expiration dates. Not good for removing outdated food. On the other hand, employees are nice and guys doing shopping carriages are great.

I usually enjoy shopping here. But Samantha was very rude and abrasive. She wasnt even my cashier. No one needs to hear how bad she needs to go to the bathroom.

A bit Less Crowded and Calmer than a ShopRite, but it can still get busy at times. Other times it can seem Relatively Dead, due to Geographic Location in Mansfield Shopping Plaza in Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. The Selection is Decent. The Produce Department is Small compared to other Major Grocery Stores. The Produce Displays are Tiny. The Imported Foods Sections in both the Produce Department and Ethnic Foods in Grocery Department are Small and Limited. You can find the Typical American Produce though. Due to the Small Display Cases, Produce does get Rotated Often, and sometimes Supply can be Limited on Busy Days. There is alot of Prepared, Pre-Packaged Produce, and the Prepared Foods are Moderately Priced. Its best to buy Fresh and Prepare yourself if you want to save Money 💰🤑👌. Prepared is good though if you dont want to prep or cook yourself.

We only use this store, usually its fantastic. BUT today we found out that theyre reusing the cardboard boxes for the $20.00 meat specials. Were talking reusing a box for holding RAW meat that goes out on the sales floor. Well be finding another store. That is disgusting.

I usually enjoy shopping here, it’s not too busy most of the time and there are some nice employees. Some employees will go outside and curse and scream and it’s a little awkward to walk past. Also as other people have noted, watch the expiration dates!! We have unfortunately bought a couple of expired things from this Weis... I don’t think they’re good at switching out products. We just purchased some ‘fresh’ crab last night and it unfortunately smelled like ammonia and we had to throw it out to avoid food poisoning...Edit - Somehow there’s always a ton of employees standing around doing nothing and there’s only one cashier lane open…. Gets really chaotic quickly. I think more people are using Weis since Covid.

They may not be treating their employees all that great, its 91 degrees out @ noon with almost no clouds and they have 2 elderly employees hanging banners on the cart return roofs. Being OSHA trained for over 14 years i would have had this done during dawn or dusk to keep people out such a hot situation.

Dreadful supermarket! Only one cashier open at 9:00 in the morning. Only wanted a Weis gift card. Was told to go wait at the one cashier line. Courtesy desk wouldnt ring it up. Cashier SUPER slow. Awful lighting in store. Aisles tight.

Early morning hours are great to go shopping: very few folks walking around in the stores. Quick in and out, even with problems or congestion at the self checkout registers.

The Guy working at customer service desk, take my driving liciense, and than take his mask off did blew his nose, and than without using any antiseptic, or wash his hand give me recipe and my driving liciense back, looks people who work there do not have hygiene at all...I think the owner of this store need to training his staff more,specially with the Covid around

I waited for over 30 minutes for weis to come out with my groceries. I could have gone into the store myself and shopped in that amount of time. I cancelled my next order. Going to another store that values promptness and customer service

I like this place, prices are in line with the area overall. For me I only go if Im in that parking lot though. Its not the easiest place to get into or out of, but it is worth it. Meats and veggies are hit and miss, but this is nj. They do have a better international section than most places.

There was not a proper clean up at Weis with broken glass. My boyfriend picked up a can of jelly which had shards of glass on it. He then cut his finger. Staff cleaned up the mess but when we checked there was still glass on the floor.

Very nice supermarket with great selection of items, quality products, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Mountains of soda and sweets greet you at every turn. Wish they didnt have to assault your senses with all the addictive junk everywhere you look. Theyre not helping us by doing that. Otherwise. Convenient hours, good selection, bright and clean facility.

Weis is a nice grocery store, was clean and had a pretty good produce section. We did not like their cold cut selection (Thumans) and their selection of large packs of items is really limited. If that is what you are looking for, Shoprite has a better selection of that.

I love Weiss Market. Its one of the reasons I enjoy visiting with my daughter. The people here are so friendly and helpful. They have the best meat, produce, dairy and bread. Their bakery is excellent!

The Store was a 5 in the past. Staff Were great and the place was really clean however over the last few months it has been slipping. Newer staff are not very good and the floors tend to be dirty. Shelfs as well. Curb issues in the front as well. not wide enough. I saw a poor old lady get into a very bad fall on one the electric carts. wish they would fix it. So why a 3? Great prices, easy to get to and pharmacy.Hope things start to improve.

Got my car keyed in the parking lot. Supposedly, they don’t have cameras in the parking lot or generally outside the store? Managers and workers were extremely difficult about it, wouldn’t even disclose the information at first. Ridiculous something like that can happen in their property and they don’t care. Definitely NOT safe for the customers. I’m fortunate it was damage to my property and not myself physically. If something happens to you there, good luck.

I’ve ordered items 7 times in the last 2 months that are listed in stock on the website and are on sale and the orders are never filled and I get the run around every time. No one will call the cooperate office for assistance. They denied me rain checks as well. This is false advertising and a scam to get people into this store.If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service..!!!

Everything is so fresh

I was on a mission to find chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day. As soon as I entered Weis, an employee was hand dipping fresh strawberries in beautiful assorted chocolates near the flowers and other Valentine’s Day items. The store was so festive, and the seasonal selection greatly surpassed my expectations. The strawberries were huge, tasted delicious, and my boyfriend even thought they were expensive, gourmet quality! I only paid $13! I hope the store continues to offer specialty experiences such as this.

Good selection. I could live without this staff. Either very young kids, mentally handicapped or very friendly older black women. Prices maybe a tad higher than ShopRite for example. But 3 years only able to get to this store & I was happy & satisfied with the selection and quality of the products. Rotisserie chickens here are awesome!! Lol,....but I have a feeling thats everywhere!!! 👍

People that work there are really nice

I despise that I have to self-scan and bag my $265.00 worth of groceries because only self-scan is available at 10 PM. After working all day scanning and bagging groceries at my place of employment (not Weiss).And, noting that Weiss has cut jobs AND, and the price of groceries has not gone down! Oh, I brought my own reusable bags too & missed getting $.75 credit for a coupon I had. Its getting hard to justify shopping @ Weiss.

A little more expensive, but love the crew! They are always friendly and happy to help. I typically use the online shopping (occasionally stepping in)... anyway, every time I order and they come to the car, we have a good laugh about something. I work in sales and customer service and have worked retail management... I understand how they feel, esp. if you get one customer who just ruins your day, so I try to make their day a little more positive.

We shop here most of the time. Prices are fairly low if you buy sale items. Much less crowded and more peaceful than Shoprite though perhaps you dont have quite as much of a selection in some areas.

Awesome salad bar and great to go food sections, sushi bar is dope. And they have grocery items that other stores dont, like Japanese sodas!! Super cool and well organized. Staff is quick to help and very friendly.

Clean, friendly store with a very local feel. Prices are reasonable. Only drawback is if you are looking for the unusual or a variety of groceries then you wont find it here. For example, only one brand no salt canned diced tomatoes.

What a happy surprise!In the first few years after store opened, it wasnt well stocked, or staffed. Wow, have things changed! The shelves are VERY well stocked, the produce department looks FABULOUS, though a bit more expensive than the fruit/vegetable market I generally use. The bakery looks yummy though honestly, I havent purchased anything from there... The fish and meat department is very good! Every piece of fish Ive bought has been incredibly fresh tasting and beautiful to look at. The meats look good, though I dont really eat meat. Their chicken, very good. The dairy department is very well stocked with a very good selection of yogurts, and cheeses to cook with. Most of all, the service is excellent. The staff has always been friendly and helpful! I have just started using the pharmacy to save time. The pharmacist is excellent. Very fast and knowledgeable. I kind of wish the pharmacy had more open hours. Overall, I really like this store... Ive switched and more and more of my shopping takes place at Weis.

Great store Has alot of different products

I like that they hire the local elderly folk and give them colorful vests. They know where everything in the store is. It saves time searching.

For the life of me I dont understand why they would take four of the closest parking spaces and give them to people that are too LAZY to do their own shopping. Now older people have to walk further just so LAZY people can have their groceries carried to them

Service in this store has dropped drastically since they installed the self checkout lanes. Regardless of the time of day, there is only ever one regular register open, and it always has a line 3 or 4 people with large orders waiting. Also, if you have a large order, the self checkout doesnt have the space to accommodate the order, so either you have to pile your items in the bagging area, hoping they dont fall, or you try taking the full bags off, only to have the machine hold you up until someone comes to clear it. There is rarely someone actually watching the area, so you could have to wait quite a while for someone to come clear it.We have tried telling the manager, but they just seem to either not care or dismiss us.We will no longer be shopping here.

I came to return something and they helped me but while I was there I decided to try to get lactose pills. I asked 3 different employees and they had no idea where they where. I knew to look in the pharmacy section but no one was willing to go and look with me (had gone up and down a few time). They just said they didn’t know and walked away.

Wiese has really gone down hill, its Sunday morning, I go in for pastries , Jelly Donuts, very little jelly in them, French crellars , doughy, sour cream donuts , awful, I had company at my house and it was embarrassing! Better train your people , never have these problems at Shop Rite! All departments are understaffed and it shows!

A three-star review is warranted for this location due to the fact that the staff seems very unhappy and some of them even rude as hell and their prices are through the roof its like highway robbery but other than that nice store easy to find things and food that you get from there always seems to be fresh on like other locations.
