When I got my vaccine, it was very quick and simple, and the people working the store are clearly putting in a lot of effort. However, there are apparent problems with this place being understaffed. Also, trying to call this place about anything is very difficult.

I miss my local pharmacy! My medical plans forces me to use CVS. Every interaction with this pharmacy is a nightmare. I go out of my way to avoid using this place. Never answer the phone. Always long wait times when there. Poor integration between web site and pharmacy which always results in problems when going to store. Can’t imagine how they will f$&@ up the COVID-19 vaccine distribution

This is the best place to go for drugs. I went here today and the service was prompt and enjoyable. Its a very clean store and organized in a fashion that is both inspiring and efficient. I wish every CVS was like this. The lady at the pharmacy is kind and genuine. Thank you CVS of Hackettstown for everything youre doing for both the immediate and surrounding area.

I went to Budd Lake CVS for the majority of my life, before moving to Hackettstown. I switched to a small, local pharmacy out of convenience. However, this local pharmacy has been raided by the ATF & FBI multiple times and continue their narcotic-stealing behavior regardless. Switching back to CVS, though a different one, has relieved a lot of stress and I feel as though they are trustworthy. Ive never been short a single pill from my 4 narcotics, nor the non-controlled substances I fill monthly. Though Ive only been going to Hackettstown CVS for about 4 months and its been a great decision. No ridiculously long wait times. The one time they didnt have one of my narcotics, they instantly called other local CVS locations to find and assure I received my medication immediately. They also accept prescription discounts via apps, goodrx, etc. I was paying $70+ a month for the prescription my insurance doesnt cover. Now, I pay $20, resulting in a $50 saving per month, which is a good amount of money, regardless of income or affluence. The pharmacy tech (cant think of her name) is incredibly friendly, helpful, and social. Shes a 5/5 all by herself.

This review is specifically for the wait time at the drive through. Covid testing is causing people who need scripts that don’t want to go inside to have to wait over 45 mins. Just awful. CVS needs to staff accordingly to take care of this.

This has nothing to do with the employees but they are way under staffed! Wait time way to long. Covid testing and using drive thru for that use is beyond words. They did not think of people with disabilities or who are really sick and dont want to go into store. They jumped on the band wagon to make big bucks good for you. But remember the customers who got you were you are today. Think the plan through better next time.

They are far too understaffed. I have never waited less than 40 minutes for a prescription at the drive-thru. I would hope corporate would take note of all these complaints about the staffing and do something about it.

This location is not able to do passport photos.

Awful. My husband went to pick up a prescription for me. He waited for 45 minutes for it when it was supposed to take 15 minutes. I will not go here again.

Dealing with insurance isn’t always the easiest, Larry at the pharmacy was very patient, professional, friendly and took the extra few minutes to make sure my son’s prescription was processed correctly!! Big name but still that small town feel!

Most of the staff are wonderful, the older (I believe middle eastern gentleman), three brunette women, and Ben (a manager). A blonde manager (wears too much makeup and inappropriate clothing for her age, probably close to 55 y/o, is the most disrespectful, rude, condescending, miserable person Ive ever encountered. She is VERY short and snippy (clearly miserable.) I told her she is rude and she said Ive been the first to say that, little does she know two staff members also said she is ALWAYS like this. The type of person to make an already bad day even worse, but I think she gets off on it. She needs to be removed from that position immediately and probably removed by police, because her yelling and condescension is off the wall. A customer is always right, hey maybe she has some personal issues at home but like Ive always said dont bring your personal issues to work leave them at home. Shes going to have a lot of issues in her life, and shes probably already had many being her age already, so I really believe that she needs to either go speak to somebody about her temper or attend an anger management class.Also, the pharmacists are very friendly and helpful!!

This rating is specifically because of the ice cream. Only times Ive bought the Ben and Jerrys there its been like the rejects of the batch. Its like they specifically request the rejects just to sell at this store. Maybe it was just coincidence but it was on more than one occasion. Ice cream is a very serious matter.

To Gene Popson: Your statement, .the word Im hearing is they are messing up prescription orders constantly and the staff is rude to its customers. ...but thats rumer is incorrect on several counts;1. They havent been rude to anyone while Ive been in the store2. Never messed of one of my prescriptions3. Its not rumer, the word is rumorBTW, you shouldnt spread rumors, Gene, they are generally false, as in this case. Its usually more crowded when Im there midday; less crowded = good for me, less wait time.Maybe theyll eventually put up another CVS on CR 517 too!Have a nice day, Gene.

I had been going to a Small Town Pharmacy directly across the street from this Big Box Pharmacy CVS Store for many years. I got to know the owners very well. We were even friends Outside of the business. They said hello to me By Name when I walked through their door every time. The owner even had my daughter in their Radio Commercials over the years as well. ....what am I getting at you ask? When you go to this Big Box CVS store now across the street from the former Small Town Pharmacy they will Def not give you that warm fuzzy feeling like at Skylands Community Pharmacy did when you walked through their door. Every employee took their job serious and to heart and treated their customers with love.Thanks to The Town of Hackettstown these fine folks at the Small Town Skylands Community Pharmacy lost their jobs and livelihoods. The town allowed this Big Box store to move in knowing they would put Skylands Community Pharmacy out of business. Shame on this town and Shame on the Mayor of Hackettstown for allowing this to happen. This town owes those employees an apology.Skylands Pharmacy Employees... you WILL be missed!! I wish you all the very best.This CVS avoided so manyWe are now happy customers of Panther Valley Pharmacy located at the Panther Valley Mall on Rt 517 Hackettstown.As for CVS... my entire family is never stepping foot into this store. There are TWO other CVS Big Box Stores in Hackettstown if you need them. Everyone in the Pharmacy is awsome.

The people are friendly and always busy. Using the extracare card always saves me money, specially if I pay attention to the sales price discounts
