The atmosphere was clean and cozy. I got the frozen Cheeky Monkey seasonal flavor and a Fiesta wrap. The staff were all super friendly and sweet. Everything tasted fantastic and was ready quickly. Worth the price for sure. I thought it was going to be some tiny wrap, but it was loaded with fresh deliciousness. Definitely found myself a new little bfast spot.

Awesome little coffee shop!!! I had Carmel machismo Frappuccino and cinnamon roll. Both were great. Hubby had biscuits and gravy. He said it tast like pop biscuits and canned gravy. Definitely go there for their coffee though!!!

Coffee was awesome (salted caramel mocha latte) and the food was epic. The Italian sandwich is hands down the best ever.

We were greeted immediately with smiles and helped right away. The cinnamon roll was exactly how the barista said it would be, AMAZING!!! The blueberry muffin was fresh and fluffy. We have the Java Chocolate Chip frozen drink and it was delicious and I didnt need an extra expresso shot. I wouldve posted pics but it was gone pretty quick. 😁

My first time here was fun. I was amazed over the size of my large drink compared to other coffee shops. Their lunch options seem to be for everyone as do their drinks. There is a lady in there with colorful hair who was so nice while we were deciding. It was a weekend which made me happy since my other coffee shop is closed on the weekends. It was clean in there and the only down side really was their cooler. It doesnt have a door and the drinks that were in there were not very cold when I got one of those healthy drinks. Even then it wasnt a huge deal to me it was still chilled and good!

We came here with our kids and it was awesome! Food was great! my littles enjoyed the kids berry pancakes shaped like a bear. The staff was super sweet and accommodating❤️ We will definitely be back ❤️

Cute place to go when in Gulfport. Met my clients there for coffee and to discuss their property search. The staff was helpful and kind. The coffee was delicious and my clients enjoyed their breakfast. We had a table to the side inside but there are also a couple of tables outside as an option. Cute decor as well.

Nice friendly service, good coffee and the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had. The cinnamon rolls are worth the visit alone.

Such unique seasonal flavours! Perks is a cool little spot, and its right by Fishbone Alley for those who want to take their coffee down an art-laden street. Everything Ive tried has been great. They are my go-to in Gulfport.

I am very happy to find a welcoming atmosphere where one can enjoy there meal at peace with vintage style to it. Highly recommend it. The staff was also on point. The locals are very generous and respectful. Great culture!

Usually this place is great, but on my last order I was told my sandwich couldnt get made because they had nobody there that could make the food. I ended up getting some muffins instead.To top it off, the hot Mocha I ordered wasnt made right. It tasted like somebody dumped some flavor syrup into a cup of black coffee. You cant blame COVID either. This lack of quality has just recently started.

My family and I were down in Gulfport for the weekend in April and visited this coffee shop. I got a frozen drink that was recommended by one of the workers and it was DELICIOUS! We stopped at the McDonald’s not even a half mile up the road to get my picky child some breakfast when we left, and I downed my coffee before we even ordered our food. So good! Wish I wasn’t pregnant so I could have gotten a bigger size or gone back for another! My boyfriend got a hot mocha and wasn’t a huge fan of it bc it was too creamy for HIS liking. But I tasted it and again, really liked it. He did really enjoy the breakfast sandwich he got though! We will definitely be stopping here for coffee any time we are in the area! Thanks!

Great breakfast and friendly staff! I had the Turkey Crescent Sandwich and it was good. The XL Cold Brew Coffee was great as well. All made fresh and served with a smile. Conveniently located in downtown Gulfport with hours that support earlybirds on their way into work.

I didnt buy anything from here so I can only speak about the atmosphere. Its a really comfortable place to go to. It exudes a friendly and inviting vibe. Just go in, order your drink or food and get comfortable in one of their various seating options. Theres regular restaurant style tables and then theres also a home-y type of setup that resembles the living room of a house, maybe, with a loveseat, a coffee table, and living room chairs. The air in there is very aromatic of the smell of café drinks. So delicious smelling! They must have good stuff. Im going back soon to actually try something to drink or eat. Im SURE I wont be disappointed.

The food was great, servers were lovely, but I was turned off by all the single-use plastic used here. Even my pickle was wrapped in plastic :( I’d like to encourage you to give your dine-in customers reusable bowls, glasses, cutlery... and ditch the pickle plastic. It’s almost 2020. Super tasty food though.

I love this place! I get coffee and breakfast from it almost everyday before work, just call in my order when I leave my house and it’s usually ready by the time I get there! Food is amazing and so is their coffee! They also have a point system where you can get a percentage off each purchase after your first! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Everything about our experience was terrific! I had the ABC breakfast sandwich (avocado, bacon, cheese sandwich with egg on jalapeño bread). The bread was soft, slightly sweet, and had just the right amount of jalapeño heat. SO good! Also had a pumpkin pie/maple spice latte - perfect 🥰 The decor was beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately today we had a poor experience at Perks. We walked in and went straight to the order counter, we were not even greeted by anyone for 10 minutes until the man came and just said “what do you want?”... Eh we all have bad days. Continue to order and my husband asks “what is in the ‘everything bagel’?” To which he responds with “I have no idea”... wow thank you very helpful - good thing he doesn’t have any allergies/intolerances we needed to know about. I also should mention he never once even made eye contact with us. We then waited 15 minutes and the hot mocha I ordered was stone cold. I hate to leave a bad review on small businesses but I assure you I won’t be coming back again.

The iced latte (subd with almond milk) was refreshing for a hot summer day and the creole spread on my breakfast sandwich was the extra kick I needed. Highly recommend!

My son really likes the pizza, muffins, and fruit cups. I like it when they have their french dip sandwich. It is one of the best Ive had. The staff has always been friendly.

Cute vibe, but workers were very disorganized. Prices on the board didn’t match what I was charged. My friend’s medium iced s’mores latte rang up as $7, but the board says $4.55 should be the price. She told the cashier that the price didn’t match, and was told, “Oh, that’s just how we ring it up.” I heard a customer in front of us saying the same thing, that the published prices didn’t match the charges at the register.Also, I ordered my large vanilla iced latte with half syrup, and it’s still way too sweet. The lattes that I make at home (with my low quality coffeemate espresso maker) taste way better than here.

Found this as we were looking for a breakfast place open on Sunday on our way home from Gulfport. Such a cute coffee shop! I ordered a breakfast croissant with bacon, egg, and cheese and a hot drip coffee with almond milk and sugar free vanilla. Husband got the ultimate croissant with orange juice, and our 4 year old had a blueberry muffin with a chocolate milk. Croissants were really tasty and filling, blueberry muffin was moist and delicious, and the coffee was yummy. They were busy but got everyones order handled quickly. Well definitely be returning when we are in the area!

I cant express how happy I am to find a quality coffee shop so close to my workplace! The baristas were in good spirt and were very helpful! Not to mention the speedy service, far superior to starbucks. The café was immaculate. I loved the decor, very New Orleans-esque 😍. The ice caramel macchiato was delicious to the very last drop! I cant wait to come again.

Best coffee shop around! They have delicious breakfast and lunch menus that you can order from all day! I highly recommend the iced Hibiscus tea they created. Hibiscus, la croi sparkling water, and whatever flavor added that you want. A refreshing herbal tea for a hot day!

I was disappointed again today. They lack consistency with their coffees. Hands down the girl in the morning shift makes the best coffee of all the baristas they got but I think the morning rush got into her today. This is my 6th white chocolate mocha in this place and none of them has tasted the same. Every time there is a different flavor and today it was sour. They do have some good sandwiches though. Please please please find some consistency or train your baristas again because consistency has to be the key while making coffee. I am not coming back because after 6 tries I am confident I won’t get a consistent cup.

Impossible to give no stars. Stood in line and asked if we had to seat ourselves; one young lady said that they were busy doing something else... and returned to their drink order, of which there were four people already seated awaiting those coffee drinks. Another tossed a to-go menu at us as we waited another five minutes before we returned our menus to the counter when we noticed three more people line up for whatever service they may or may not have gotten. We left doubting the two baristas would notice, and now write this with the hope that someone in this shops management team reads it.Remember, it is important to greet and make people feel welcome in your restaurant. That didnt happen this morning. Coming back? Doubtful. Only on the invitation of the owner or manager, and doubtful of that even happening with the general attitude of the employees.Update, 12/30/2020, at the request of this establishments ownership: The Baristas did NOT establish whether it was counter service or otherwise; one of them clearly told us ...we are busy doing other things... rather than acknowledging our presence by saying something like We will be right with you... The two working the counter were clearly focused on the already seated customers order. While this is good for those customers, it does disenfranchise new customers when they are told by wait staff that they are doing other things... That is why we walked right out the door. Both my wife and myself have worked on both sides of the restaurant industry, (front and back of the house) and frankly no customer wants to hear that someone is too preoccupied to serve them at any capacity. Its irrelivant as to the store location (2501 14th St., Gulfport) bad service is bad service no matter where it happens.

Black dark roast coffee tasted FLAVORED!!! I really wish coffee shops would grind and brew flavored coffee in seperate equipment. If company cannot afford this, then they cannot afford to be in business.

So quaint! Delicious sandwiches and yummy coffee! Humble and kind owner. If I had to say improve anything it would maybe be the dill pickle spears. I would def frequent as often as I can!

Wouldn’t recommend breakfast here. Ordered biscuits and gravy and it came cold and tasted as if from a can. The employees are quite nice and trying to deliver the best service, as we were offered another order of them after getting ours reheated. Maybe it’s just an off day but we were highly disappointed.

We walked in at about quarter till 3:00 apparently they close at 3:00 and I wanted to have my coffee there in a ceramic mug and they did not want us to because they were closing at 3:00! I have been in the hospitality industry for 50 years and I would never ever and have never been told that before! Will never step foot in there again hes too young people that were in there need to learn restaurant etiquette.
