Giant eagle is always clean and people are always friendly but their prices are significantly higher than all of the other grocery stores, which reminded me of why I stopped going to them before. I will probably stick with one of the others simply for the prices.

Nice to walk in and get what you need and check out is a breeze with every lane open.

Always super clean and organized. Rewards program is the best. Kroger may be cheaper but if you use Giant Eagle Rewards wisely you will pay less than any other grocery stores. READ your rewards program perks and earn how they work. READING IS FUNDAMENTAL! Giant Eagle gets a bad rep for pricing but people have no idea how easy it is to get 20% or more off on groceries there.

Clean & stocked store. Disliked loud, non- English music being played through out the store. Made me feel uncomfortable.

Not as nice as it used to be, things I could get there I cant find anymore. Kroger has a better selection and nicer produce.

Used to go here a lot on Friday mornings for those yummy donuts. I still stop once in a while. Pretty well organized and clean. Never really had an issue except their pricing, which is one of the more expensive around town compared to other grocers.

I have been shopping here since I moved to the area 3 yrs ago. I shop bi weekly and spend a lot of money here. I don’t appreciate feeling like I’m attempting to commit theft. While scanning items while my daughter bagged them the belt stopped so the last item rolled back. I went down to help my daughter remove bags at the end of the checkout. A rude employee tells my boyfriend to move from the scanning area. She scans the next item and states are you done. Well obviously not my cart still had items in it. If I would have been given the chance I would have looked to see what item was not scanned and would have scanned it. But instead the employee jumps in like I am trying to steel something.

Good store but some of the prices are high compared to Kroger

I am basically handicapped right now because I had surgery on my foot and have to walk with crutches. I asked and employee to bring me a handicap cart and he did but with hesitation. He said you have a walking boot on why can’t you walk? I’m not allowed to put weight on my foot at all. He did get me the cart. After shopping I asked the cashier if she could have someone help me out with my groceries and she said OK. I’ll she did was load my groceries in the handicap cart and send me on my way. Therefore I had to load the groceries in my trunk by myself on 1 foot. I find this unacceptable and I will not go back.

I was born in Pittsburgh and my mom always shopped at Giant Eagle I moved to Ohio there was no Giant Eagle I live in Toledo and then you guys brought Giant Eagle to Toledo then you close Giant Eagle my daughter and I moved down to Columbus and theres Giant Eagle again and Im a very happy customer again

Pretty big grocery store and it has a liquor store in it! Very clean and what prices I did notice seemed competitive. They even had a nice little Gluten Free section in the freezers too. One stop shopping for sure with a Starbucks in the parking lot.

This location has a great, knowledgeable staff, who all are friendly. My ONLY suggestion to improve operations would be to do a whole-store refresh with updates and cleaning.

As always the pharmacists and techs were great.

You know me .... I like a deal when Im shopping. I got a good deal at G.E. on sliced watermelon. Their cubed Wmelon was something like $11. for a large container. Thats not a very nice thing to do to Seniors who can not slice a wztermelon or a parent who does not have time in this new COVID world. They have delicious rotisory chicken already cut up. Some spicysome. BBQ. SOME. Nuggets. Some plain. I got 2 nice sized containers for under $8. Each for a family thing. It doesnt hurt that They have a liqueur store within. Smile

You need a bike rack. There’s a bike path to the store but no bike rack. A smoking section but no where to park our bikes.

Their liquor store is open until 10pm which is awesome! They have good fuel perks and great meat usually. Staff at this particular location on Stringtown Road were more than sufficiently helpful and pleasant to deal with, even approaching closing time for the store!

Ive never been so disappointed with Giant Eagle in my life than today when I picked up my 2 year old sons Baby Shark themed birthday cake .It was nothing that I asked for , the colors were all wrong and the cake decorators have no clue how to decorate a cake let alone properly wrote Happy Birthday on a cake .There are no CAKE BOSSES at Giant Eagle ....Get it together management , hire some actual talent .Giant Eagle has officially lost my business .

Still traumatized by the store from last year. I went in to grab a few quick items for movie night for me and my children and use the self-checkout. The manager was very good at helping me and one of the other employees started helping also. Towards the end of my transaction everything was okay but the last thing I scanned was a pop and then I paid for everything and walked out. About the time I got halfway across the parking lot and employee came out named Teresa R. she yelled across the parking lot maam you can come back and pay for that pop or the camera will take a picture of your face and the police will be called and you will go to jail. There was an officer standing outside and another manager and they asked her what happened she said to them that lady just stole and then ran back in the store. The officer and manager didnt seem too alarmed. Just doing protocol the officer asked and looked at the whole receipt and saying that everything was paid for and showed it to the manager that was standing there also. I have never been so humiliated more in my life. I spoke with managers of the store all they offered was an apology because they didnt know how bad it felt to be humiliated and to have only been the only African-American in the parking lot. I felt singled out.The corporate manager did make it right. All I can say is I love giant eagle but Grove City is not the place to go especially accusing people of things that they did not do. Good thing I printed off my receipt and had it sent to my email for my own proof to show. She had no reason to do such a thing without rechecking the receipts and her own work. I will only go to Groveport and Pickerington location. Again her name was Teresa R.

I have been a loyal shopper at this Giant Eagle ever since I moved to Grove City in 2011. It must be under new management, because Ive seen a big change as of the last 6 months or so. It used to be consistently great as far as quality and customer service, but there has been a noticeable change. The produce department has went WAY down hill. There have been several occasions over the last few months that Ive noticed rotten or molded produce. Ive also noticed gnats flying around the produce at times. Ive had to return things from that department several times lately. Ive never had this happen up until the last few months. This is very disappointing especially considering their prices. Their meat department remains top notch, the quality of the meat is outstanding.Their workers in that department are great as well. Most of their cashiers are good. The manager does not speak to customers and he just walks around looking angry all of the time. Ive started buying my produce at Kroger and Trader Joes, but I continue to shop here otherwise because of the fuel perks. I hope they make a change soon though.

Love the store. Friendly and helpful people. But if you buy the multiple gallons of spring water in the box, be careful. The top of the box is always well sealed, but the bottoms never are. Be sure to hang onto the bottom, not the cut out handle spots. Only negative thing Ive ever had to say about them. Otherwise all positive.

This place almost always has an unbeatable deal on one brand of soft drink or another. I actually started doing the rest of my grocery shopping here because the prices were reasonable and I was already there buying 12 packs of pop. They also have some of the best Fuel Perks around! I just wish the gasoline discounts you earn wouldnt expire as quickly and sales on pop cans were a little more consistent on prices & brands.

Food showed up quickly and hot. Very mainstream, boring, low flavor. Spicy wasnt spicy, it was far too sweet. Typical americanized chinese food thats not worth getting again. Throwing out half of it today.

What a horrible place. Employees are unkind and very rude. Was chased around the store and harassed, when I spoke to management they dismissed me. This was over paper towels.... Paper freaking towels.

High prices and the people at the bakery were not that friendly once they realized I wasnt ordering a cake but had questions. Wont probably go back

I often wonder how they get so many extremely kind old people to work a job for not much money yet stay so happy and willing to help. Its kind of like Kroger or Fred Meier or Kind Soopers, but not quite. Anyways, they do have the hummus or weird olive thing youre looking for.

Giant Eagle has the best hot food and bakery items. The fried chicken and their rotisserie chicken are my favorite hot items.

I feel they are too expensive when it comes to household food, etc! But, they do seem to have some good deals on paper products consistently! Their rewards card seems to have better gas deals than Kroger! I do fill prescriptions here each month! Everyone at the pharmacy is super nice. No issues. Wish they had a drive-up window!

Just terrible - set up meat counter 2 hour late and break down 2 hours early. Reported to the manager several times and no care. Restocking on the weekends. 1cashier working and people standing around the store. This place needs a manager badly. Need to start making these people do their jobs

Great employees. Fast service even with how busy they are. Pharmacist where exceptional. Even the guy at self checkout moved us up to his register so we could get out quick.

Giant Eagle needs to rework their marketing. It was impossible for me to avoid anything alcohol in this store. Entered through the produce/bakery and after the traveling through that department was immediately assaulted with the wine department, shelves after shelves of booze. I go to the store and pick up the one other thing that I needed and in order to get to the checkouts guess what I had to walk through again another section of booze, the beer cooler, if you are a recovering alcoholic I would not recommend this store at all to you. Personally just because of my Christian beliefs I will not step foot in this store again oh, my senses and sight do not need to be assaulted with everything alcohol-related no matter where I go in the store.

First time visiting this location. It was a positive experience. The Olive Bar is a nice feature. They also had a nice cheese selection. I stopped by to pick up a few items that WalMart doesnt carry. The staff and cashier were friendly and helpful. I will probably shop here more in the future.

Quality of departments is mostly decent. Produce is usually okay. Dairy is decent. Bakery is alright. Meat is good. Seafood is good. Liquor store has the best customer service and help of the whole store. The manager should be running the store. Deli is horrible. People are rude and unhelpful. Ive patiently waited multiple times for help only to be ignored by lazy people. Management and the office girls need replaced desperately. They are insanely rude and neglectful of customers. I stood waiting at the self checkout for ten minutes while one lazy person stood and stared at me from behind the counter. When I asked for help, she turned around and ignored me. Cashiers are all awesome. That is, when there is one available. 95% of the time, the lanes are ridiculously long because theres only two or three cashiers for a half-full store.All-in-all the rudeness of management and the office girls at this store drives me to Kroger.

Grumpy staff in the bakery. Was given a huge attitude in response to my smile and saying hello. I’ve been here numerous times and never have had a great experience but the woman today is the reason I’ll never return.

Best bakery in town the cakes are so good! The pharmacy is great and are always helpful with coupons and helping to find discounts to help with the more expensive drugs. They have great deals and even better fuel perks that dont expire
