Went there to get all my brakes done, very good service! Friendly staff, and when I arrived at 8am it was busy which was a good sign to me! They told me the day before I came it may take 3-4 hours to complete, they got it all done within the hour. Quick and easy, and my brakes sound and work great now :-)

I came to Midas for an oil change earlier this month . When I walked in the girl at the front desk was extremely rude I figured everyone is entitled to a bad day so I let it go. She got the info for my car and told me it would be about 45 minutes. 20 minutes go by and I see a tech come in and leave a safety check of the car on the counter. Nothing was said to me about anything listed on the list and I got my car back. When I looked at the checklist the mechanic had recommended I replace the air filter and get the brakes checked since they were getting low. None of this was brought to my attention. I would have probably declined the air filter since I can do those myself but brakes. Those are a needed thing and I’m not sure when the last time I had them replaced was. She cost Midas not only a potential brake job but a loyal customer. I don’t like a lot of people messing with my car so I stay loyal to a shop. I should also point out the way she talks to the other employees is ridiculous. If I were an employee there I’d leave.

Happy with oil change and prices but I had asked for my tire pressure to be checked as I had a low tire pressure warning. When I was leaving the premises the warning light came back on. They forgot to check it but went ahead and put some air in the suspect tire.

Although I couldn’t get work done that day due to financial reasons, they waived my diagnostic fee so I can see what’s going on with my car so I have something to work with. I really appreciated that!

Was calling around to get appointment for Monday. Midas had available appointments, I showed up early they took my vehicle in right away. I needed muffler work and apparently tires. They offer a payment plan/ financing thank goodness!!

On my way home from Rhode Island on Monday, 08/16/2021, I got an alert on my dashboard telling me that my battery was no longer being charged. I was able to stop by an auto parts store and they tested my battery and alternator. They told me that my alternator wasnt charging. I took my car to Midas and they were able to take me in more quickly than the nearest dealership. They also figured out that it wasnt my alternator. My alternator was fine. It was a faulty drive belt tensioner that got loose and the belt was no longer turning the alternator. I count myself lucky enough to stumble upon an honest mechanic shop when in a bind. They saved me $400!

9 + hours to do an alignment and change 4 tires…$1200 later as well. They could of cared less! Tell me done by noon, show up at 12:30, they tell me another hour. Show back up at 4:30 and car still isn’t done. Absolutely horrible! Will never go back.

Avoid wheel alignment services at this location!I scheduled an appointment for a four-wheel alignment at 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021, and I dropped my car off early at 2:00 PM. At 4:30 PM, after having not received a call about the status of my car, I called Midas and was told the car that was being aligned before mine just got off the machine and mine would be going on shortly. This location closes at 5:00 PM so I headed over at 5:00 PM to find that my car just got onto the machine, and to expect a fifteen to twenty minute wait. After the car was finished, I got a copy of the alignment report, and started driving home. Less than two minutes into the drive home, I noticed that the car did not track straight, and the steering wheel was not straight; two new problems that did not exist prior to the alignment. I returned to Midas and upon looking more closely at the alignment results sheet, I realized that three of the twelve measurements were out of specification, and three more were barely within specification. When speaking to the supervisor, I was told there was nothing they could do until Monday because the technician had left.To the credit of Midas, I was refunded for the service, though I will not be returning Monday as I do not believe the work will be performed correctly again. Had I not asked for the alignment results sheet, I would not have known the full extent of the poor workmanship performed; though the tracking problem and crooked steering wheel were indicative of a problem.The fact that the car was returned to me with an incomplete alignment and noticeably worse driving characteristics without any explanation or notice is totally unacceptable. I cannot speak to the quality of the other services offered at this location, but I do not recommend their alignment services to anyone seeking a quality or timely alignment.

They charge me for something I already knew on the diagnostic.I talk to the person in front and I tell him that my truckhas a check engine light on because of egr delete , I speak with 2 different people and I tell them the problem.The other thing is they want to charge me $1000 for power steering pump.Ridiculous..Poor knowledge in what they doing. Or at lease on diesel trucks.

I came to Midas just after a big storm to get my car checked out. It was making a noise and driving differently. The windshield wiper also stopped working. I was met with such professionalism. They were attentive and made me feel heard. The wait was short and well worth it! The team communicated well making sure that all of my concerns were addressed. I had my brakes fixed after another garage didnt fix them right the first time. Good pricing honest service they actually took me out and showed me what was wrong and was able to fix it the same day. Friendly staff will definitely recommend to others and come back for future services. Its tough finding an honest shop as female but I finally have!

For the most part good service. Alittle on the hurry you up pay them and move on to the next customer kind of joint. But again your expectations have to be at that level. Its a chain auto shop that relies on fairly cheap oil changes and having a pretty fast turn over rate. And knowing that when you walk in.....they definitely do that pretty well and you get your reciept and take off praying everything was put back on your car correctly. Over all a solid 4 stars

I Was at another closer to homeCt Emissions testing center today and was told the entire state online service was shut down and testing wouldn’t be possible...As I was leaving I decided to callMidas right around the corner in Groton on RT-12They very kindly answered and told me apparently the system had a problem earlier but they rebooted the system and they were up and running...Just wanted to say thank you for not giving up and blaming it on lack of laziness like the other place did.I was in and out of there in 10 mins even after being told about 15 mins wait time...A+++ everyone wearing a mask and practicing great social distancing ...Excellent 5 Star Customer Service !!!!

I was struggling for time but NEEDED a oil change and tires rotated, the female service advisor moved things around and got me in ASAP, and even the time before courteous and friendly and service done in a timely manner. Worth the few extra bucks and the wait especially since everything was done properly

Have been bringing my cars here for years. The work has almost always been excellent. When I found repairs not satisfactory the shop has reassessed and corrected. Walk in appointments can be made. Convenient location and comfortable waiting room.

Easy appointment and fast service!

I went for an oil change and when I left my car didn’t sound right. I ran some errands before I stopped and decided to look under the hood. They never put the oil cap back on, I lost a lot of oil and it was all over everything. The lady at the desk was nice and that is the only reason I have two stars. She was friendly and nice to chat with. I will not be returning.UPDATE: Changed my rating to 3 stars. I called them and explained what happened and they told me to come back. They cleaned under the hood and replaced the oil I lost. I received a coupon for an oil change as well. I’m still upset this mistake was made. Had I not thought to look under the hood, there could have been damage done. Luckily it was an easy fix.

We have spent a total of about $1500 on brakes and every month since they have been replaced we have gone back for squeaking grinding. They tell us that nothing is wrong and us on our way. There is something wrong because that shouldnt be happening. Needless to say we will no longer be using them.

I had an appt at 9:30 for 1 tpms replacement, and a tire rotation. I found out that the total cost was around $220. I was trying to take advantage of the active duty discount, but turns out it only applies to parts not the total. That took about $20 off. I usually like to work on my cars, but theres no easy way around tpms replacement. The price didnt seem reasonable to me considering the sensor was around $130 and configuring was an additional $30. If a sensor was that pricey, I would assume that it would automatically read by itself like many other. The lady behind the counter wouldnt tell me what expensive the sensor brand was. That didnt help me figure out why they had a sensor that was made specifically for my car on hand, and what made it so expensive. I am seriously doubting the reliability of this sensor.I was there for about 2 hours before it was finished, after my car was returned, my car started to pull to the right while attempting to drive straight. After letting the car configure the psi, I came back and I was waiting for an additional 2 hours. The problem wasnt fixed, and I was suggested to have the rotation reversed (I was due a rotation, so that didnt make sense). I was there for about 4 hours in total, with an appt. Few days later, my other wheels are giving me problems. I dont know what happened, but I will go to a different place next time, expecting to pay lot less and a healthy outcome. Unsatisfied, but I hope they improve.

This Midas location has great friendly staff. They dont cut corners or try to upsell you on unnecessary services if not needed/highly recommended. I informed them that my wife and I were going on a road trip and they did a thorough run through of my vehicle to make sure we wouldnt have any issues. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed - Found tires that I liked which had a $100 instant rebate from the manufacturer. After all was said and done I noticed the price was alot higher than quoted. There was a $80 extended warranty charge on the invoice. I asked twice to have it removed and was told both times it was a required charge since I used a coupon. Confirmed with the corporate office it wasnt required, I didnt use a coupon. The ladies at Midas didnt care and refused to refund it. I was promised a call back - never got it.Also, my mechanic found the alignment (which was more expensive than the competition) wasnt done right. Disappointed is an understatement.

Absolutely horrible. They installed a defective part on my car and it broke after eight months. They would not replace the part without charging for labor. I went to a different repair shop and the labor estimate was half of what Midas tried to charge me. This is DISHONEST!! In addition, the woman behind the counter is rude and has no customer service skills. Finally, if Midas installed a defective part once, how do we know this will not happen over and over again in the future?? I do not trust this Midas location and want to strongly warn people to very be careful when dealing with them. Always get a second opinion from another repair shop. I personally recommend to stay away from Midas. Not trustworthy!!!!!

I have been to this Midas for two emissions tests now and each time the process is smooth and quick. The employees are pretty friendly and they seem like decent people. I havent needed any work on my ride lately so I cant speak to their quoting process or work quality, but I would consider them the next time I need something done.

Again I cannot say enough about the service at this Midas location. From the phone to the Front Desk to the service manager and techs - all are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They got me in and out in less than an hour with the problem fixed ! So lucky to have these folks helping me get the most out of my automobiles !

Candi is wonderful. Just be mindful if you are not familiar with cars to ask many questions. Some will try to put extra unnecessary work on your car leaving you with a big bill.

Speedy emissions test times and repairs. Ive done two different emissions tests here. My car recently failed an emissions test and Candi was able to break down all the (rather costly) repairs, and how to do them in installations in such a way that would save the most amount of time (and therefore money spent on labor).A different employee answered a question about why my wiper fluid wasnt coming out (it was the motor not the tube) by walking next door to the car parts place with me and asking the team over there what the next step was. Very helpful and they have my best interests in mind!

I had a great experience . Car needed front brakes and exhaust system. They offered to do some welding to help save the exhaust for another time but I decided to just go for it so I wouldnt have to worry about it this winter. I did have a lower quote from another shop and they honored that quote saving me a few bucks. Very nice to deal with and explained everything to me when I went to pick up the car. Will definitely go there again!

I just needed my routine car emissions inspection. No appointment needed, I was in and out quickly. They were having a computer credit card issue which made it more crowded than usual but everyone wore masks and tried to social distance while waiting.

The sevice was great and people friendlyAtmosphere in waiting room leaves a lot to be desired. Tiny TV. Very few magazines. Not even coffee or water. You need to wait to have brakes or other work it should be nice before the bill hits you. Lol. Soda machine outside.Cost was higher but I needed pads and rotors. Gave me an oil change free. I so appreciated that. Like I said, the people will bring me back here.

Went in for an a/c system recharge. The tech working in my car told me that the quote was written up for an inspection even though I asked for a recharge and it would be an additional $100. When the service was complete the sales person gave me a price that was significantly higher than the quote. I questioned it and the sales person grabbed the manager. The manager entered the office with the biggest attitude. He was rude to me and he was rude to his sales rep. When I pointed out their mistake he threw the quote at the sales rep and said to charge me the quote price while angrily saying to me that the sales rep was new and he messed up the work order. I couldnt believe how rude and unprofessional this so called manager was to the sales rep and myself. I will not be going back and will not recommend anyone to go their. On the other hand, the sales rep was very polite.

I needed some serious tuning on my car, including new tires and a new battery. At least to replace the flat I had that was plugged. My battery still dies, my tires were not replaced, not even the plugged one I specifically asked to be done, they were just rotated. i was told the work I requested was unnecessary and that they did was they felt needed to be dont. How much did they charge me for a rotation, a new battery and an oil change? Close to $900.

A few years ago, I would take all my vehicles to this Midas. But I am now looking for a new shop to go to.My family is a Midas franchisee, on the west coast, so I tried to give them multiple chances. I took my car in for a front wheel alignment, I was charged $130, which included a fee for parts used. I asked what parts were used for the alignment (which was none), the sales person said that is a standard charge at their shop, and points to a sign that says their is a fee of 10% for miscellaneous parts used. This last time, my wife goes in and asks for an oil change (standard w/4 quarts) and to install front brake pads, lets the salesperson know she has the parts for the brakes. She was quoted over $160 for the service.

Went there for emissions today was in and out in 15mins very convenient!!!
