Built our dream Wrangler online, printed out exactly what we wanted and took it to the area dealerships to see who would give us the best price. Benson gave us the best deal, no hassle, Ben Wade was a truly wonderful salesman. Knowledgeable and if he didnt know the answer, he was honest about it and would find the answer for us. Told us that it would take 2-3 months for delivery and they were correct. Ended up taking about 10 weeks. Hands down the best dealership experience weve ever had.

We came out to look at the new Grand Cherokee L on a Friday evening. We got there pretty late with no intention of purchasing a new vehicle. Buying a new car can be intimidating and stressful, especially when custom ordering one - however, that was not the case this time. I can’t thank and speak highly enough of Kelby throughout the process - he was quick to help in any way he could and provide updates as to where the Jeep was in production. This was our first purchase at Benson and I think it’s safe to say it won’t be our last.

Mike was straightforward. I called night before, showed up next morning, had keys to test drive less than 5 mins of arriving, out the door with the car (Shelby GT350) in 2 hours. I did not negotiate with price due to the current market, it was priced fairly already. I brought my own check so I didn’t finance with them.

Under no circumstances, no matter the price for the vehicle. Would I ever ever buy something from this dealership. We bought a 2020 ram 3500 that had 2500 miles on it, And have had nothing but problems since. It was a certified vehicle so we had repairs done and now 4,000 mi later the exact same thing is happening. Unfortunately I use the truck for work and Im in the middle of hauling a 1.4 million dollar prototype carbon fiber airplane to the New York stock exchange. So the timing for this issue is absolutely wonderful. If you buy from this dealership just know that youre taking your chances. Because they obviously dont go through their vehicles. They just figured it was good because it only had 2500 miles. When we bought the truck I hauled it from South Carolina to Oklahoma they knew that. When we called to inform them of the situation their response was bring it in and well check it out. Knowing that we were 1500 miles away. The customer service at this dealership has reached a new low level of slimy car salesman

We were interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I called dealerships from Spartanburg to Anderson SC. Every sales rep told me to come in and never offered to work numbers via phone. No one offered to help over the phone and one Jeep dealership in Seneca even called me back put me on hold , disconnected and never followed back up.Frustrated I had one more dealership left in Greer. I called Benson and spoke with Josh M. He was very helpful and sent numbers, patiently reviewed with myself and wife.We have bought numerous cars over the years including BMW, VW Toyota etc.The treatment and relaxed buying experience at Benson was fantastic.When we drove away in our new Jeep we both commented about how easy this process was plus we got a fantastic deal!

End update.I wanted to buy my next truck here, but to me the service department is everything, so I decided to bring in my Ram. I pulled in and 3 or 4 service advisors stared at me through the glass. One looked busy but the others were not. I guess I was supposed to go inside, so I did. The stares continued, so I introduced myself and mention that this was my first visit, expecting a hearty welcome. Instead the response was, great this ones mine and Im on the phone. I should have walked out at that point, but I really needed service. The paperwork was simple, so that was good. I was asked if I needed a ride, but when I said yes, they said all loners are out and the drivers are all busy. I was told where to find the waiting room. My suggestions to the service manager. Come out to the car. Greet visitors properly. First time visitors should be walked through the process and walked to the waiting area, showing the snack area, etc. In my case, I should also have been introduced to a sales person. So now Ive been sitting in the waiting area for 1.5 hours. No update on the ride home.

The inventory was there, but the professionalism was not. My partner and I went to Benson a few weeks ago to buy our new truck to haul our camper. When we arrived, our sales associate introduced himself to my partner (male), but not me. Didn’t even ask my name. Didn’t ask for my license to test drive the truck because he assumed I wouldn’t be the one driving it, even though we said we’d both need to test it out.Throughout the transaction, I was never addressed, it was always, “thanks for waiting, Wes (my partner),” and, “Wes what do you think.” When it came time to talk numbers, I was the person actually making the trade in and buying the truck, but even then, all questions were directed to my partner.During the financial process, the sales associate was asking us personal financial questions by shouting them to us across the showroom floor instead of walking over to ask us. Again, always directed at my partner, who would then defer to me to answer since I was the one making the transaction.Several times, my partner very obviously tried to let him know that I had the answers the salesman needed, but he never picked up on it. Honestly we walked out fuming about it, and if they hadn’t had the perfect truck for what we needed, we would have left. I felt very disrespected and will not be returning to Benson.

I researched RAM 1500s for more than two months before I was finally ready to purchase. At that point, I reached out to four dealerships in North Carolina and South Carolina through their websites for an out-the-door quote. Its amazing that three of the four dealerships seemed so disinterested in trying to earn my business. Benson CJDR was the clear exception. Cassie was quick to respond to my request even though she received it late on a Monday. She was willing to answer my questions and provided a quote as requested before connecting me with Matt McCormick. Matt was patient and upfront with me as we worked through the negotiation and arrived at a price to make the 90-minute trip to Greer worth it. Once at the dealership, they honored the price and didnt have any surprises that seem to be the case with other places. The truck and paperwork was ready, and I was quickly in and out. Eddie provided a painless and anything but pushy finance experience. And R.J. showed me everything I needed to know about the truck. I highly recommend Benson CJDR. Responsive, fair, and personable all around. My only regret is I live too far away to have them service the truck, too. If youre local to the Upstate, give them your business. If like me youre a couple hours (or more) away, take the drive to Greer and do the same. It will be worth it.

There were no add ons after our price was determined, which I appreciated. He clearly understood all of the features / options on the truck & everything was clearly explained.

What a great experience for my first time buying a car and being in a car dealership, I’m only 24 and drove off the lot the same day I went in drove away with a 2016 Dodge Challenger V8 Hemi low mileage and I’m enjoying every second in this vehicle. I had a great experience working with the whole sales/finance team. I was working with them the day before to get a new Rubicon and iron out the logistics. The next morning I drove out from Charleston and when I got there the Jeep was ready so I spent a little time finishing the finances and once done was on my way home.
