Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Not a fancy store but tons of great comics available. Even was able to find a variant cover I couldnt get elsewhere.I love that they are open by 10/11am. Great location off of Evans Street means I can swing in easily anytime.

Amazing place for comics! Great customer service. It’s nice how the employees talk with you and actually engage with your interests. Big selection of comics to choose from, both new and old - you’ll find yourself wanting to come back for more!

These are my guys. Knowledable on many aspects of comics, very humorous and likeable bunch. Easy to talk to and establish a rapport with. Lots of backstock. Countless hours of digging.

Some of the best guys ever working here. Haven’t been in a while but spent most of my time there in high school. Haven’t been able to find a comic book shop since with the same welcoming atmosphere and wide selection.

Excellent place to buy comics, you get that friendly vibe when you walk in. What a great experience takes me back to when not only the shop owner would help, so would the customers. This is my new spot.

It is the staff that will keep you coming back. They are super friendly and super knowledgeable. Even the fellow shoppers will help you find what you are looking for. Large collection of vintage and back issues. Also has new issues on Wednesday which they open the store in the AM so you dont have to wait until after work to get your book. Check it out.

This is a 5 Star Comic Store! I was introduced to it in 1984, and have picked up 1000s of books since than. Always a friendly staff head by the Legendary Charles Lawrence!! David, gary and all the rest are knowledgeable and ready to help! Big back issue stock and they carry supplies! In the area since 1977.

I first went into this store some twenty odd years ago. I was worried that it wouldnt have the same mystique when it moved to its newest location, but I was wrong. Its still has the same magical, friendly atmosphere that a comic book store should have. I highly recommend visiting this store to anyone!

Comics not sorted very well, move boxes to look at comics, had some leaking issues in ceiling, less than a short box of silver age and older. Nice staff

LOVE THIS COMIC SHOP! Just started my freshman year at ECU. The shop is about a 5 min walk from campus and it is jam packed with awesome stuff, new and old comics both. Beyond having a great establishment, they have a great staff as well. Just being in there a few minutes I knew I was going to be a regular. They are both nice and knowledgable. Plus, they got a dope painting of Spiderman and Batman on their building. Cant recommend it enough!

I just recently started visiting the Nostalgia Newsstand when I was looking for a particular comic I couldnt find on the internet - I didnt even know we had a comic store in Greenville! They have been so gracious and welcoming, and knew me by name the second time I came by looking for some new releases. Ill never buy another comic book online and will continue to support our local businesses.

Books are not very well displayed or organized. Not very appealing structure. Staff was nice.

During the comic boom, there were a lot of shops doing it just for the money. Nostalgia has never been like that. In the days before the direct market, Charles used to go to various distributors and get them to open boxes of comics they were going to send back because they didnt need them to fill out their quick pick distribution. If not for him, there would have been a lot of Marvel Comics that would have never hit the street in Eastern North Carolina.When the direct market hit, he used of combination of the old and new market to maintain a remarkable run of material at retail. He is a fan who looks out for the fan.Unlike other shops in this state, Nostalgia has been about the hobby and the stories, never about the money.

This is the first comics store in Greenville. Located downtown within walking distance of ECU. Lots of older books and worth a visit.

Ive had a subfolder here for over 2 years now and every week I call to talk to David whos more than happy to help me check on my comics. I live out of town so its not as easy for me to visit in the middle of the week. They have a great selection of weekly pulls and a huge collection of backstock comics, not to mention all the graphic novels and collectables.Every now and then the guys put on a show for the local crowd and offer a selection of comics for a great discounted price. The shows always have something new to offer and youre bound to find something youve been looking to add to your collection.
