Theyve got a good selection from various games. I went for Warhammer stuff, and they had more for it than any other place in the area. Sadly no blue oxs were around, but they did have these cool figurines.

Awesome place. Staff is amazing. Very laid back, knowledgeable, and passionate. My anxiety gets peaked going into places like this due to not knowing enough about the hobby, but I feel super comfortable at Blue Ox. Harry and Co are good people. Prices are also fair, unlike some other LGS. I make sure that I can buy product from here rather than TCG or large box stores whenever possible.

My 11 yr old son takes his Pokémon card collecting very seriously and has for yrs 🙃. Recently apparently suddenly everyone else has decided to become Pokémon fanatics as well bc the packs are no where to be found. Someone randomly told us about this place one day and we made a visit asap. We hadnt eved even heard about it before. Nothing fancy...Just a great store for lil weirdos like mine. The guy working was very friendly and helpful and found out they are super organized. They have tons of cards as individuals available for purchase databased in their computer so my son could just say a random card and the guy could look it up immediately and see its availability and price. And if youre a Pokémon mom...you know their is a million of these things that are named random letters thrown together that only the kids can pronounce. 😄 That alone impressed me immensely!

This shop has the greatest customer service I have experienced from any hobby shop in the East Coast area (Virginia, NC, etc.) As an avid trading card collector of 17 years, and a school teacher facilitating clubs for students and parents on how to collect and enjoy card games, I strongly recommend Blue Ox Games as your number 1 hub for cards and even chess!

Went in to get help with figuring out Magic the Gathering, I’m new to the game, and they helped me with all my questions. They also pointed me in the write direction with pointers and free material. I will definitely be returning!

I have enjoyed shopping at Blue Ox Games when I am in the want of a new game.

Constantly updated and well stocked. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I love supporting turn and dont feel like I dont fit in. As you can see from my photos I love the dice section! I was picking out a set for a Rogue/Artificer (dont judge me) and three staff members was actually able to find one that sang to me. Im also into a reoccurring D&D comic called Rolled and Told thanks to that same staff member. I was backlogged by 5 months due to finances and they still held them for me! Love this place.

A great place for comic books, manga, card games, tabletop games, board games, RPGs, miniatures, and collectables. There is a game room in back that hosts nightly games and tournaments. Currently that room is closed due to the pandemic, but the store itself is still open.The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. If they dont have something on hand just ask and there is a good chance they can get it for you.You can create a pull list for comics if that is your thing. And there is even a rewards program that can earn you free stuff in the store.Its a small but mighty shop that has a little something for everyone whos interested in gaming and comics.

I am local to southern VA and it takes me 2-3 hours to drive here. Ive been there twice in the last 2 years and both times were amazing. The TO was amazing when he ran our tournament and was very easy to work with as well as very considerate. As long as I play I will definitely be back.

This was a nice anime shop. There were board games, video games, DVDs, and more. I was impressed on all of the things in the shop. And the staff was super nice and informative. Things in which they didnt carry they provided references for. We were searching for a particular movie that wasnt carried but we got information on so many other things. Definitely will recommend my friends to this place.

Blue ox has all the games I play in one place. RPG, board, card and 40k, all under one roof. I can also pick up a new Funko Pop or the latest marvel and DC/ indipendent comic issue I could want. The staff is always curtiouse, friendly and helpful.

Visited for Free Comic Book Day and we were well treated by a helpful staff. Great deals on some items that day and raffles as well. Store is definitely focused on gaming and everything that goes with it but the comic room is a fairly good size with a few tables for back issue bins.

Seller gaming store. Well organized products. They have everything you need for RPGs including models, paint, dice. MTG supplies. They have a large comics section. In back they have one of the largest table setups Ive ever seen the game play and putting together your models. Such nice helpful staff too. We drove over an hour to check them out and they held a game for us we had been looking for but couldnt find locally. Very pleased with our experience here.

They always have the best POPS & can get pretty much any one youre looking for. Everyone who works there is super helpful and laid back. I also love their points system. You get points for money your spend and theres levels to it, so even with a small amount of points you can get treats or save up for games, POPS, etc

This store has been a second home to my friends and me for the past 7 years. It is a warm and inviting place, the staff is amazing and will do their best to help you. Any board game you could ever need is here, almost every card game, if they dont have events for your game, chances are they will help your game grow. I seriously cannot say a single bad thing about Blue Ox.

Is a good place however some of the staff could be better. The owner of the establishment is absolutely amazing and has always done all he can for the community. Good enviorment however have witness things stolen on my first day back. Again Harry Frank the owner handles it all to the best of his ability. Would recommend to any and everyone young to old.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Been there for a couple of board game nights, and will gladly go again.

There was a product that I have been looking for about a month and could not find a vendor that sold it. Amazon sold the wrong product as their description was completely different from what they were advertising. The other vendor that I bought off off sold me the wrong item as well. Not only that they bought the item off of amazon and tried to send it to me. It took about a week for the product to be delivered even though i had paid for a two day shipping. Blue Ox Games though. The staff was completely friendly and helpful in making sure that the product that I ordered was indeed the correct one. The product that I had paid for arrived in the time given that I had paid for. From my experience clearly they make sure that their service is the best they can give. I will have no hesitation when I have to order from Blue Ox Games in the future.
