My sister and I had a 10 am appointment with Jessica to determine if we could book a trip in 2022 to Alaska for the whole family. Jessica was very helpful to try to give us the best perks for our trip. They had a sign on the door for mask adherence and had barriers between you and them. Now we must get all information from our family members to get things rolling! Thanks AAA for taking very good care of us!❤️

We couldnt be happier with our experience at the AAA garage on Pleasantburg. We broke down on the way out of town (smoking brakes) and when we couldnt find a single garage that could take our car sooner than 8 days, Chris made it happen for us and got our car fixed in record time. We feel very confident in the work that they did, and they even test drove it to make sure it was safe. Thank you so much!!!

Most excellent service I’ve had in my 75 y young. The computer printout of all needed repairs. Shows the problem. As a woman I felt as if I was respected and intelligent enough to make decisions on what I saw. Also any explanation I needed the guys were great to do. On one issue the light harness the service guy himself came in to tell me what he saw. I would recommend100%. And will be returning. To my knowledge they have if not best price on synthetic oil change very close. As they are expensive but of course worth it. Thanks AAA team again.

The mechanics at AAA took advantage of my wife while I was home on quarantine. She hydroplaned into the shoulder of the road. They changed out 4 tires and did some other repairs.This is what bothered me. They charged us $100 for cleaning underneath our car… this was a month ago. I’m still pulling out grass and debris that they missed. Also they lied to her. During her wreck one of her wheel covers fell off and she forgot to grab it. We knew that. When she showed up to pick up her car they told her that the wheel cover was too badly damaged and that it wouldn’t go back on the car… but not to worry. You can get a pack of 4 for $20… nope. Honda wheel covers cost $40 and upwards for just 1.This place is an absolute scam.0 STARS

My wife was taken advantage of for a basic oil change and tire rotation. When these place see a female alone they get the doller sign in their eyes. Over 200 dollars for oil change, tire rotation and supposedly the filters were bad. We will not return here and I will take her car myself. Its a shame that the service companies take advantage of a female.

The roadside assistance went well and they took my car to this place. I needed a new alternator and they tried to tell me many other things I needed (which I really did not). They quoted me 1700 dollars. I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for way less than half of that. They guy at the new place did not find that other thing were wrong. Seems to me they were trying to make up stuff to get money out of me. Will never get my car fixed here.

Love AAA! Misplaced membership card. Went in with a friend who was handling an insurance matter. Went to the opposite side of the room to the general counter and told them what I needed and my temporary cards were printed out in less than two minutes. Excellent customer service, too!

Used the travel agency services.They were in knowledgeable and non informative of my very expensive trip which cost me an extra $2100 by the time I got home. When problems occurred during trip they were not helpful even made the situation much worse. Unable to even change a flight departure city a week out we were forced to purchase brand new tickets and loose all the money from the original flights. I found them to be incompetent, unprofessional, and our trip was ruined. Do your homework and stay away from AAA. Complaints to upper management were ignored and they never responded back after saying they would check and get back with us. Planning another trip but definitely not with AAA.

I absolutely love AAA it is not many places I feel comfortable going to since I am a woman and I feel as though some people take advantage of those of us who are not car smart. 😂 I feel very good dropping my car off to get it serviced. They have clean bathrooms and they have a nice waiting area that allows you to see your car once it is put in the bay.

AAA has changed to full synthetic oil only. As a result their oil changes are now around $70. Im not paying that for an oil change on a beater with 260k miles that burns oil. Sorry AAA you seem to want customers with deeper pockets than mine.

I’ve been with AAA for 20 years and always found my roadside card to be useful. Unfortunately, this location was the worst. Besides making an oil change mistake, the manager was incredibly unprofessional. He was yelling at his staff while customers were there and he was the only one in the entire place without a mask. When we had to speak, he was disrespectful. No thanks.

I was left stuck in Neutral in the middle of Post Office parking lot. AAA handled everything with my first call for service. From towing to the initial call to advise of problem and solutions, AAA personnel worked with me to repair my vehicle in a timely and cost efficient way. For a senior I felt respected and valued. I’m not unhappy with the actual service I went for (an oil change) but I am very disappointed with the dishonesty of the workers who wrote up my report on issues with my car. He said my coolant was milky, my break fluid was dark and muddy, my transmission fluid was nasty, there was oil all under my car etc. first of all I had just received a break fluid flush months prior and they last up to 2 years. I then took my car to get checked out multiple places after this report. I asked my boyfriend who the most honest machsnics were and took it to two different places, both saying all that needed to be changed was my transmission fluid and my belt would need it soon as well which I already knew. The manager told me it would be about $600 worth of maintenance. It might just be the workers trying to get more hours in so they act like they found something I don’t know .

This is an update to my original review. I they may have given me a fair deal on my oil change and belt change, however, they told me I needed transmission cooling lines and it would cost $300.00. I said no because I did not have that kind of money to spend. A couple of days later A friend had me take it to a transmission place to see what they would say. They told me it was only the fittings that I needed. The total job cost under $100.00. AAA Auto is a ripoff, they will try to get money out of anyone. Also want to add that my change oil light stays on for a long time after I start my care each time. This was not happening before the oil change. Original-(Great service, they did everything possible to make sure I had a good deal. All kind and attentive and took great care of me. Definitely will be back next time I need car repairs. Lee went out of his way to help me out and Bill was great too.)

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We made an appointment through the AAA service for my daughters car. Someone from this location called my husband while she was already on her way to the shop to tell us that they were overbooked and couldn’t take her that day. By the time we could call her she’d already arrived. When she went to check in the she had no idea there was a problem, since we didn’t catch her on her cell before she went to check in, and when she asked why they couldn’t take her car when an appointment had been made, the guy at the desk was incredibly rude and dismissive towards her. We won’t be calling for an Appt at this location again!

Your auto tech was at my home in less time than your customer service rep said he would be He diagnosed my problem as the battery and even had one on his truck--for less than a repair shops price. He replaced it in five minutes and even checked out other parts of the cars electrical system for free. Truly, I will never let my membership lapse

Terrible! I went to this car care location for a simple battery change. They admittedly damaged the radiator during the battery swap. Although the Regional Manager was professional and empathetic, Mr. Campbell, the shop manager was impossible. AAA took responsibility for the damage but Chris made it difficult to get payment for reimbursement. I felt humiliated by the whole experience. The only action I could get from the smug manager was when I was angry and loud. There was no part in this repair accident that was my fault but he treated me like I was trying to get something for nothing. After 27 years with AAA and nothing but stellar service, this experience has left me so upset I will not be renewing my policy. Nor will my 2 grown children, nor will both sisters and their families. Horrible and should have been handled better. Im sure they are great when they get it right but beware if they make a mistake.

I was disappointed: promised in 90 minutes, we finally called after 2.5 hours for oil change and tire rotation/wheel alignment, only to get upsold on an air filter and fuel system flush. We said no to the flush, AAA said itd be ready in 30. An hour later we got the call, drove over there only to find sporadic mask use and our car still out being driven. Plus it was smelly, grimy and the TPMS was not reset. All they had to do was RTM. WONT BE BACK SOON.

My trip to AAA was wonderful. My car had starting and alignment issues. They explained exactly what they were doing and inspected in a reasonable amount of time to be accurate and considerate of me. I recently bought a vehicle from a dealership and it has been a rough 2 weeks dealing with the issues with the vehicle and the warranty company. The Manager and employees at this Company helped me more than I could have asked over this time. They have been persistent in solving the issues I have been having with my vehicle and answering any questions I had. They are also extremely fast at ordering g parts and getting them installed. My truck when it got to this Shop wasnt in to good of standing position but now just one week later I am starting to see more and more progress in making it a long lasting vehicle. Both the car service and the STAFF are horrible! It took over 2 hours to just install a battery. I was not kept informed as to why it was taking so long. When I inquired why, I was initially given the run around with BS information. When I inquired to the Location manager, Chris, my concern I was met with an extremely aggressive and combative attitude from this guy! UNBELIEVABLE how he spoke to a customer. During my 2 hours there, I witnessed 3 other customers pickup up/dropping off cars, EVERY SINGLE one of these customer also had issues!This has got to be the most poorly ran business in Greenville! Road service had jumped off my battery and they were awesome! However the Car Care Center...NO CARE!!! either for the car or the CUSTOMER!!!!I see from other reviews that Chris has a solid history of treating customers poorly and with an aggressive combative attitude, especially women. After posting my experience review, I was horrified to read others that were exact copy experience of mine. No communication, COMBATIVE MANAGER, dishonest in giving updates. I honestly dont know how AAA can continue to allow this to continue.

Grateful that they were honest and upfront about time frame for repairs to be completed. Thrilled that they had a shuttle service available from the Center. I do not live in GVL, and I was able to get to the rental car place in a flash. Maybe they could ask customers if they will be needing a shuttle ride; I only asked them because I overheard another man asking them about it.

Oddly, I was on my way to the AAA office to get a map, but my car didnt want to cooperate. I called AAA who sent an amazing gentleman to help me out. My battery was completely dead. Gone. Kaput. He charged it up AND followed me to AAA Auto Repair to make sure I got there. My new battery was roughly $30 less including installation than other places. Plus, the people there were delightful. I am happy happy that I am a AAA member.

I made an apartment for 8 am to get my car checked for its engine light. When I got there at 8 they told me to leave and just go home to wait for the results. They told me it take an hour or two. Around 1:30 Ive still heard nothing so I called them them and my car was apparently done and all they did was clear the check engine light and said they wouldnt charge me 110 dollars (they said I wouldnt have to pay anything when I showed up unless the light came back on) since they believe that fixed the problem. I show up and they had mixed up my car with some one elses and had just started to look at my car. So in 10 minutes they hastily checked my engine light and just clear it too instead of actually doing anything. He then charged me 60 dollars for this, even though on the phone I was told I wouldnt be charged for the EXACT same thing he did to this other persons car. So now Im told to just drive around and hope the engine light doesnt come back on. I brought it in at 8 am so they could see if they needed to fix anything and I would leave it there all day so I could have it for work Monday. Instead they mixed it up and didnt even do my appointment. Wasted my whole day with this. If my engine light comes back on Im tempted to take it to Precision Auto Tune. They seem to actually know how to fix a car .But now I get to just hope everything is fine. Rude managers. Incompetent staff. Just awful.UPDATE: Check Engine Light came back on and now my car engine is not functioning properly. I had asked for this all to be checked out and obviously it has not been. I have been treated like a child and the thing I paid for NOT done properly in the slightest. Now Im going to have to pay to get this problem fixed that couldve been done earlier with less damage.

AAA Car Care Center on Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville, SC has maintained my car for four years now. The car, a 2001 Mercury Sable, was in fair shape when I first brought it in to be serviced. Now the car is in excellent shape thanks to AAA Care Car Center. I feel they are honest and will try to help you keep your car as long as possible. The staff has been more than accommodating in helping me maintain my car. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you, to the entire shop and staff.

Very disappointed with the work done. I brought my Jeep in for complete exhaust system replacement, from headers to tailpipe. Drove it home (about 12 miles) the day the work was done and parked it in my garage. The next time I started it up, it was loud as could be, and the check engine light came on. I had no choice but to drive it to work, by the time I got there it had quieted somewhat. Looked underneath, one of the bolts meant to hold the header pipe to the header was missing, the other was loose. After the weekend, drove back to AAA service center where they took it in and kept me waiting as they fixed it. Sure enough it was quiet, drove it home, started it up the next work day and again one of the bolts had fallen out, the other was loose. I drove to work and called the service center, was told that I have to bring it back. I work about 2 miles from the service center, asked if they could send someone to pick it up to bring it in, and I could get a ride over to pick it up after work. I figured that was the least they could do. Nope, cant to that, cant do anything, you have to bring it in. I stopped at Auto Zone and picked up a couple of bolts and locknuts on the way home, and fixed it the next morning (Sunday). Monday driving to Greenwood, check engine light comes on, with a code for lean condition downstream of converter on bank 1 (drivers side). Sure enough, both bolts on the drivers side had loosened up. They hadnt fallen off yet, but they were loose.If I spend $1800 for work I dont expect to have to bring it back, and if that happens I sure dont expect the same thing to happen again right after that. Since it did happen, the very least you could have done was honor a simple request to come get the car so I can avoid taking yet another day off from work.

AAA always does a great job with my car for a fair price and with friendly customer service. They are trustworthy because they have the reputation of the organization as a whole to maintain. All other mechanics are just mechanics and nothing else and often arent even national chains. Therefore, they do not have as high of a motivation to provide excellent service as AAA does.

AAA is usually great, but be careful of the prices here, get a second opinion! They took about 2 days to figure out what was wrong with my car, and called with an estimate upwards of $1700. I towed the car myself to our family mechanic, who fixed everything for $700.

This was my first time to this AAA car care center, Id been sent a $40 coupon from AAA to use how I wished at any AAA location. So, I chose the 39. oil change here. Chris, who I spoke to this morning about an appointment, was great. Friendly, helpful. I came in well before my appointed time of 2 p.m., and was told by a different person, Bill, that Id have a wait time of 1 1/2 hours. Folks, thats a LONG LONG time for an oil change. They were kind enough to check my horn, and Bill made recommendations to me on Subaru airbag recalls, the horn issue, etc. I handed over my coupon when it was time to pay up--and still ended up paying an extra 5.75. Not quite sure if that was a tax, or such. But beware, in case you have one of those coupons: there is something added on (isnt there always?)....I know they are busy, but if a customer has an oil change appointment, they should be out of there in 30 minutes. 45 minutes at the most. Not an hour and a half...or longer. When I got home, I found oil on my front bumper: so I checked under the hood to make sure everything was tight. It was probably just clumsy dripping, but I wondered to myself if that would have happened to the fancy Mercedes in the shop the same time my old car was. Some places use a bumper cover, so oil doesnt get all over the car. Just sayin. (update: a few days later, a mechanic found the oil filter is leaking when I had my car in a shop for another reason) Folks were nice. If you live in the area, it might not be a bad place to get your work done.

My car would not start so I had it towed to the AAA Car Care Center thinking they might be reputable.Dont be fooled by the nice guys at the front desk - They quoted $500 to replace my starter. Other quotes were less than half this. Had it towed to another repair shop and had repairs done for $230. AAA said the part alone was $245. this is just pure and simple price gouging. Still had to pay for the diagnostics $106 (pretty much knew it was the starter since all battery checks had been done.) Where was the 10%discount????SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DONT GO HERE!

A previous mechanic quoted me $600 to replace 2 engine mounts in my car. AAA mechanics told me I had been bamboozled and I didnt need both mounts- only 1- and had the job done from start to finish in less than 1 hour. The cost was UNDER $200 once they applied my AAA membership discount and a $20 off coupon that had been emailed to me as an additional membership benefit. Needless to say I am SO grateful for this team and couldnt say enough good things. The savings from that transaction alone more than covered the cost of membership. Member for life.UPDATE- I have continued to use AAA for all car care & maintenance, and every single time have spent less than I expected. This team is very honest and will never pressure me to get repairs that I dont need. In addition, no matter which auto insurance agency you work with, you can reroute your current plan through AAAs insurance center and save. I have had the same plan/coverage with Progressive for 7 years and by rerouting through AAA, I have saved over $40/month on my car insurance alone. Highly recommend.

I had my car serviced a few weeks ago and then my husband did last week. A filter needed changing in my car, so I gave the go ahead to do it. Unfortunately, the shop didnt have it in stock so they sent out for it. So, I was there a pretty good while waiting.My husbands wait was more than he is accustomed to as well. The service center diagnosed the issue problem as a throttle body injection issue, which would have cost $1400 to repair.I called a few other shops and they gave me much lower estimate to address the situation. After having the car towed to another local shop (and paying over $100 for AAAs diagnostic work before they would release the vehicle), the other shop diagnosed the issue as the battery wires not being tightly connected to the terminals. Problem solved. Saved over $1300. Amazing.Edit next day: Chris from AAA called and apologized profusely for the experience that we had. He also promised to refund the diagnostic fee they had charged. Im thankful and impressed with the speed with which they responded.

I usually take my car to this office because I am a AAA member and receive a discount to get my oil changed. Making an appointment is pretty effortless, which I like. Every time I take my car there they find at least 2 things wrong with it at an astronomical price. I always get a second opinion at my mechanic and usually what they expect to be wrong with it is completely wrong, and if they are right my mechanic can fix it for half the price of AAA. I would understand if that happened once in a while, but its every time, and they tell me its a life or death situation, and I cant get out of there with a proposed bill under $1,200.I will no longer be using their services, and I wont be recommending them at all.

I also had my car towed here by AAA. Their diagnosis and solution would have cost $1400. After checking with a friend who has worked on Chevys for years he suggested a much cheaper although POSSIBLY only short term solution which amounted to simply changing out a fuse. AAA Care Care still charged me $100 for this task (they had previously told me there wouldnt be a diagnostic fee unless I had to leave the car overnight) but 6 months later things are still running fine. Maybe the work they suggested will need to be done eventually but then again, maybe not. Definitely dont have work done here without getting a second opinion!

Took over 2 hours for a simple oil change. First time not changing the oil myself, big mistake! I can complete this in under 30 mins with out the lift and air tools.

Ive been here twice now and both times I made an appointment for an oil change ND both times I had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time. The second time they told me it would take 2 hours because they needed to let the cars sit and warm up for 30 mins and that was going to take time. 😡 what?! This is not customer friendly in to help auto care department. Unsure of the rest of the facility. Try not to go here for an oil change if you can help it, unless you have time to wait 2 hours.
