I searched all reviews before calling A & B. Stellar. Staff amazing. They were familiar with problem my car had and he was familiar with issue and heloed me navigate through process (I ordered new part on ebay) The part will be here Monday, A & B will install next week. I will go there from now on for all mechanical issues.

Being in an accident was a terrible experience but A & B made it less stressful. Two of their trucks came to tow the automobiles. They talked with us, gave us time to get some personal things from the car. We did not have to hunt down our automobile because Mr. Simpson gave us the address. When I went by the tags was taken off for me and the cars was in a secured lot. The staff was kind.

I have been going to A&B Auto for 40 years. I think they are a little more expensive than some other independent shops but they know what they are doing. I have referred friends and some were happy and some thought A&B was too expensive. They have also fixed a number of flat tires (roofing nail punctures for example) and have not charged me since I am a repeat customer. I do tend to take my new vehicles to the dealer while they are under warranty but after that I go to A&B. I had an Acura that ate mufflers and exhaust systems. A&B gave me a lifetime warranty on the system and it was replaced a number of times.

I pay for parking everyday where I stay in Greenville when I am visiting. (the proximity) I literally parked in the Charles Blvd parking spot for not even an hour to get something out of my girlfriends apartment and by the time I got back my car was towed with no one to call or know where it went. (It’s also a Saturday..) when I figured out where to get my car (approximately 20 minutes later), this place was CLOSED. Yes, closed. I called their number and thank God someone answered... but if I had gotten there five minutes later, my car would’ve been gone for the rest of the weekend, and the towing fee would’ve been probably 300+ Dollars for my car being there over the weekend until they reopened on monday. I truly understand that people have to do their job and make a living but to charge people(COLLEGE STUDENTS) $175 for towing their own car mid day is outrageous, unprofessional, and highly disrespectful. I will never do business at this establishment ever again for this very reason and I have advised and will continue to advise people to not do business there.

I give this place an absolutely top rating. I have had all my automotive repairs done here for over 30 years. They are all excellent and give you expert service at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

The millage on my car demanded a new timing belt and water pump. My mechanic referred me to A&B. Wonderful experience! Jason was able to quote me a range over the phone and I appreciated his honesty about the cost up front so I could budget accordingly. He and his crew were able to get me in right away. He told me over the phone its best to bring my car in earlier when they first open since is a multi-hour job. I dropped my car off at 9am, thinking Id get her back Monday due to them being closed Saturday and Sunday. He called me at 1:15pm to tell me she was done and ready! My final cost was the lowest he quoted me, too! My car is good for another 90,000 miles, within budget, AND I got her back same day!10/10 would recommend.

Great customer service..

I was in a really bad bind. Out of town everything was about closed and to top it off my only vehicle. They were great ordered my part so it would be there first thing in the morning and had my truck ready by noon. I couldnt have asked for any better service. The quality of work was great and price fair as well. Special thankyou to Seth whom was the mechanic who fixed my truck. Everyone there was very polite. I would most definitely recommend them. Please do not believe some of these negative reviews, one of them was clearly written by a competing company.I wish I could give this place 10 stars. BEST auto shop I have ever dealt with. They are polite and speedy. It is hard to find a place that wont screw you over these days, but I 1000% trust the guys at A&B to take care of my car.I thought something was wrong with my brakes once because they were squeaky, but they called to tell me nothing was wrong. I know 100 other car shops that would have just replaced my brakes assuming I knew nothing about cars and probably would have over charged me as well.I recommend this place to any and everyone. They are THE BEST!

I have had excellent, expert service here. Very reasonable prices. Each time my car has needed work, it always costs me less than I expected. Always a nice surprise when it comes to car repair.

A & B towed my car (which was my fault, I’ll admit), but then no one was at the lot for me to pick it up. I got there less than 30 minutes after they towed it and in the middle of the day. I called their number, and they said they only had one person working, so I had to wait about 45 minutes for someone to come. I was in Greenville from out of town and was relying on my car to get me home. If a company is going to tow cars, they should at least be available for you to get it back.

Good price for a tow

My sister called road side assistance due to a flat tire and they sent out a&b auto to help her. After 2 hours the tow truck still did not come!!! This is NOT right! Who does business like this? Two guys from United Way had to come down to help her change her tire!!! Beware of this company!!! DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!! There are way better towing truck companies in Greenville!!!

Had a flat tire. These guys were so helpful and nice. Showed up in 20 minutes and changed the tire in 10 minutes. I am saving the number to my contacts.

The best in Greenville, in my opinion. They arrived quicker than quick and knew more about my MINI Cooper than the dealer service department could tell me over the phone. They had me on the road in a matter of minutes.

This business is well known in that if you were late picking up your vehicle by a week or so, which is not an abnormal amount of time, they will use a little note North Carolina law to sell your bill to a salvage yard in an adjoining County. By law that do not have to tell you who they sold it to since it is the DMVs responsibility to notify the vehicles owner, the process usually takes about 3 weeks before you ever find out where your car is. In that time the business which bought your bill normally West Auto Salvage in La Grange, incurs a $35 storage fee for every day normally 3 to 4 weeks. Whats the DMV tells you that its at West Auto Salvage you are now obligated to pay the storage fee plus your bill plus any Towing expenses or they will put a mechanics lien on your vehicle. Most people usually forfeit the car as they were already short on funds to begin with. The department of motor vehicles license and theft Bureau has received over 60 complaints on this business for this heinous act and can do nothing about it due to the loophole in the law that they are exploiting

#autorepair, I went there for repair in Nov 2014 because I was getting coolant low, they came and towed the car, I was told my carburetor is busted and need replacement, they charge me about $700 to replace it, they charged me $230 for carburetor, I later found out in market is only $75. Even after that the car kept on alerting coolant low, they check again and said it is ok it is just the sensor which is acting. After that day till now the car still alerts coolant low ,I dont drive the car to much less than 10 miles, I have added about 3 bottle of coolant in these months still have the problem, coolant disappears. Not only that they did not put together my front bumper. Drive side bumper was not put together, when asked he tells me to just push it in..he wants me to pay him and fix my own car. Never completed the job, did half ass job. I will not recommend.

I recently totaled my car and A & B auto was called by the highway patrol office to tow it. When I went by to pick up my personal belongings out of the car, the $250 flip out touch screen radio I had recently bought was gone. One of the employees said he saw it in the car, and all of the others claimed that there was no radio in the car when they towed it. The manager said that there was nothing they could do about it, nor would they look at the cameras. If they will steal from a 17 year old, they will steal from anyone. The highway patrol office said that we could file a complaint, but it would most likely do nothing because they had plenty of complaints called in about A & B auto before. I have never had my car worked on my A & B so I cannot comment on their labor, but a thief is a thief and should be punished for stealing.

Yes. I got towed for parking too long in a spot. No more than 30 minutes but still over my time. But Im a combat veteran, with combat wounded plates and I have never been great with such disrespectful treatment. $300 dollars for less then a mile. Got it its your money maker, but f*** me right?!
