This garage was one of the best garages I have ever been too. From the moment I walked in they were very kind and extremely professional. I had a starting issue with my truck. I had already brought it to a different garage who couldn’t diagnose it. This garage was able to diagnose it and repair it quickly and professionally. They are also extremely transparent as they send pictures of issues with the vehicle to show the issue is truly there. Additionally, they repaired the vehicle within a fast timeline which was great too. I am going to go here in the future for my regular maintenance and will be recommending this to all of my friends and family.

I have always had an excellent experience..always professional and courteous. But I do have to say booking an appointment on line and not being able to talk with someone prior to booking it tells me perhaps my business is not worth the phone call. When I do connect to someone I feel as though I have connected to a robot. This person takes my number..repeats it back wrong..tries again and same thing...4 times in the one call. I dont feel mason & sons has progressed with this new set up.. but has regressed. Im all for change when it is a positive outcome. The workmanship is A1 but communication on these two things ranks very low in my opinion.

Stephen and co exceeded expectations when my family and I needed it most. They quickly and efficiently diagnosed my car even though they were minutes from closing.. on a Friday! They could of easily (and realistically should have) asked me to come back Monday, however, they agreed to help. Fortunately for us, the issue was a simple fix and they got us back on the road in minutes. If we lived in the area we would be customers for life. Thanks so much!

I paid a nice amount of money trying to get this car running right.. yes I know Mercedes are expensive fixes… I took my car on the highway and it started knocking really bad. I just got it back yesterday from mason and sons when I arrived to pick my car up I was informed a level 2 digeonst was done. But on the phone conversation I was told a level three would be done ..not to mention they also said I had multiple oil leaks in the engine.. but never told me this before I paid my money……… something telling me this ain’t right. Praying I actually get it right one day!!!!!!Update. Just trying to stay positive I’m a single mother I need my car to get some act right. Placing my trust in mason and sons they have gave me the only hope and I love the how nice they are!!!

Mason and Sons did an incredible job in donating their services in replacing brakes and fixing the parking brake on a car that was being given to an abuse victim who has small children and needed safe transportation. I cant say enough good things about this place. We had an absolute nightmare with my car but they got me back on the road, made sure we knew problems to keep an eye on, cleaned my baby inside and out (even fixed my peeling Baby Yoda magnet)...then theres the actual customer experience; balloons for my kiddos, kids play area, comfy seating, super friendly and attentive employees. While I do hope I dont have to see them anytime soon they are definitely my first choice for future car repairs.

Masons Automotive did a great job on our truck today, they took care of all the issues and maintenance as you would expect but went above and beyond by washing and vacuuming the car too! Great customer service

They did a good job diagnosing and repairing my minivans air conditioning and it has stayed cold since. And when the fuel pump failed only a year after I had it replaced, they took the time to make sure the warranty on it was honored even though it had been replaced at another mechanic. Excellent customer service! They also wash your vehicle for you before you pick it up which is nice.

Went in with a nail in tire. $25 patch and I’m good (so I thought). Get back to house and that afternoon tire was down again. Put air in it light went out. Take it back and was told it was another tire on passenger side. What, I explained that I put air in left front and the light went off, how could it be right rear tire? They had no answer. So basically they got me for $25 by just driving my car into one of their bays. Oh well lesson learned. By the way he couldn’t show me the nail in the right rear tire

I absolutely love this company! Today was my first time getting service from them, and they definitely didn’t disappoint! When I dropped my car off, the owners wife drove me back home. They preformed the oil change, tire rotation, and tire balance on my car! They cleaned my car by hand, and vacuumed it out! Then they proceeded to drop my car off at my home in order for me to be able to leave for work! Not only that, but they also took pictures of the two issues left for me to fix then explained them over the phone! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new mechanic!

My battery died after dropping my kids off at school. After calling 3 places, Mason and Sons was the only one that actually came to jump my car (I don’t know if they can always do this for customers, but the fact they even tried says all you need to know) and got me out with a new battery at a fair price in under an hour. They even inspected my car and recommended tires without pushing anything on me. This really is the only place in Greenville you should be taking your car. JD and Steven were excellent. They were super professional and demonstrate integrity.I found them online and came in for a headlight that was burned out. I’m staying in Asheville and didn’t want to drive home with a single headlight. They fit me in mid afternoon and mycar was ready by six.Driving home that night the new headlight alignment was off. I called Mason & Sons and since I didn’t plan to be back in Greenville soon, they gave me a refund for the labor part of our transaction. So I could go somewhere up here to have them align the headlight.This is very rare these days, that a business stands by their work no questions asked. JD mentioned they can do a full vehicle inspection on my ‘97 Miata and repair anything that needs it, and next time I’m in town I will certainly look into it. They’re good people.

If I could give more ⭐️, I would! I wish I had gone to them a lot sooner. I can’t rave enough about the level of service I received. I sent an online inquiry on a Thursday, dropped my car off on Friday morning and had my car back on Saturday. They kept me in the loop EVERY step of the way. They even wash your car! I think one of the most important factors was that they speak to you about “car things” in a way that the layman can understand. I never once felt that someone was MANSPLAINING my car issues to me. I brought a recently purchased truck here for a new vehicle inspection and oil change. The people couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. They fit me in on a Friday (without notice!), completed a full inspection, changed the oil, and had me out by the end of the day.I knew the truck needed quite a few repairs due to its age, so I made sure to schedule those right away. They worked with me to organize the repairs in order of most to least importance and made sure to fit the most urgent items within my budgetA few hours after I picked up the vehicle a radiator hose split open due to its age. Jeremiah had recommended I fix it during inspection, but it didnt fit within my budget. To my surprise, they sent two mechanics out to get me and fixed the hose on the spot-free of charge. That act of kindness told me all I needed to know.I recently moved to Greenville and this is the first shop Ive been to. I wont be going anywhere else. Thanks again!!

I have to give 5 stars to Steve Mason, JD, and Jeremiah at Mason and Sons Tire and Automotive. They are the most honest and friendly set of mechanics I have ever met, willing to go the extra mile to help you out.They actually helped out a friend of mine in a tight spot that unknowingly bought a lemon of a car from an auto auction ( ps don’t ever do that unless you know what you are getting into! ) with some major mechanical issues. Someone put some lipstick on an ugly pig before dumping it at the auto auction! Unfortunately my friend did not have a mechanic look at the car before buying it. Its was not long before the car showed its true colors. Steve was willing to take on the project on short notice, did some diagnostics, figured out all the problems, and gave some really great advice. It was actually not worth fixing it since it meant replacing the engine and would cost more than the car was actually worth. Of course that meant they would not make any money fixing it, so real honest guys to do that!Long story short my friend was actually able to get all her money back on the lemon of a car due the seller not being able to produce the title to the auction house. So the nightmare came out with a happy ending after all. Lesson learned on auto auctions for my friend. She will now be getting Mason and Sons do an inspection of any future cars she wants to buy before putting down the money.Thanks again guys!

I went to 3 other places to try and figure out what was wrong with my Jeep Patriot not starting and when I saw the great reviews for Mason and Sons, I had to see if they could help me. Not only did they fix my jeep but they went above and beyond with fantastic customer service by assuring me that my car was in good hands, giving me a ride back to work when I dropped my car off and picking me up from work to get my car when it was ready. JD and Jeremiah were so pleasant and just amazing because I was very stressed out about my car not starting. They even washed and detailed the inside before I picked it up which was a perfect touch! I would and WILL recommend Mason and Sons to all my friends and family.

I took my car in to get new tires, get the oil changed and have my breaks re-done. Mason & Sons did a great job communicating their progress and were very kind the whole time. There were a few snags that were not directly related to Mason & Sons control but strived to help as much as possible to make the experience seamless.

They went above and beyond any mechanics shop I have been to!! When it was determined I had to leave my truck, they dropped me off at my house which was several miles away. Once the services were completed the same day they brought my truck to me after business hours shiny and clean. All general maintenance was done including, fuel injection service, front differential shaft seal, brake hydraulic system serviced, power steering flushed, rear wheel cylinders, alignment, and tires rotated and a few more things. I would definitely recommend this shop to all my friends. Everyone one was very friendly, up front, honest, and easy to work with. Great family business!!

This is by far the best place where you can take your vehicle to repair it. His owner (Stephen) is customer-oriented, charismatic, supportive, extremely honest and a high qualified professional. We went to Greenville for a weekend trip and the car broke down, he wasnt able to repair it because we brought the car on a friday afternoon. He did everything to get the car running (and succeeded) for us to be able to get back to Atlanta. He also took the time to explain us what the problem was and the different possible causes of it, he even gave us a full and very detailed report of the problem so we can explain it the best way possible to out mechanic in Atlanta. He even took the time to chat with us, recommended us lots of places and things to do. An excellent service delivered by an excellent guy.

I had a radiator go out in Greenville. They got me in the same day and fixed the next day. Almost too fast, as I didn’t have a chance to really explore Greenville. Prices were a bit high but they seemed honest and friendly.

After getting two repair estimates from larger body shops where the cost for my repair was averaging around $3,000, I chose to stop by here for one last estimate. I was totally shocked when the owner told me around $1,460 would get my repair done, and in only 3 days. At the other body shops I was told nearly 3 weeks would be my wait time. I picked my car up on Friday and it looks great! They even washed my car inside and out. I Highly recommend them because of their honesty and quality of work.

The guys at Mason and Sons really know what theyre doing. They were all very professional and offered a couple different options for the repairs I had done on my Ford Escape. The Nationwide warranty they gave me was better than what I would get from the actual dealerships parts and labor warranty! I got free roadside assistance by just bringing my vehicle in, which is pretty convenient. With the prices and customer service like they have, I wont be using anyone else for my repairs.

Ive never had an Auto repair center work so hard at fixing my car as Mason & Sons. My AC in particular is a major problem, it blows hot air rather than cool. Its intermittent so tracking the problem down is very difficult. Of course the AC worked perfect when in the shop, but I had video to prove it, so they knew something was wrong. So far what they replaced seems to be working, and they did it at their expense! Im heading to Florida where AC blowing hot is not a good thing, but Steve and Jeremiah made it a point to stay in touch to be sure the repair lives up to their high standard of service. I cant recommend these guys enough - God bless Mason & Sons!

I was very happy with their services. They were reasonable and gave transportation and showed me pictures of before and after repair. What was really special though was their warranty assistance. A part they installed turned out to be defective,which wasnt their fault but they went above and beyond the usual when they answered my call for help when they were closed and made sure the entire process went smoothly,and it was quickly fixed without any extra money.

Ive brought my cars to Mason & Sons for the last few years when Ive had issues, and Ive never been disappointed. The service has been great each time. Ive also had parts replaced that came with a warranty never expecting it to really matter, but I recently came back in with a weird electrical issue, and it turned out I had an issue with my alternator that was still under warranty. When they reached that diagnosis, they replaced it for free no questions asked - I showed up expecting to pay a bill and left with my car running and looking great at no charge. Stand-up place. Extremely nice guys working there. They were very upfront about timing, the state of my vehicle, and went above and beyond to help. They take pictures of everything your vehicle needs (even beyond what you brought it in for). Very thorough and never tried to sell me on anything other than the reason I brought it in. Right before I was supposed to take my vehicle home they found yet another problem with my power steering pump. They stayed hours past closing and didnt even charge me labor on the last part. Were even willing to drop my vehicle off to me if I wasnt able to wait around. Great guys, great business.

First off they are really really nice and came to my house and gave me an estimate. I had needed some bodywork done due to my hood flying back a d shattering my windshield damaging my frame. Stephen came out was very professional, very patient, and have me an unbeatable price on the bodywork that needed to be sone. He was honest he gave me two orices to consider! That made me happy knowing I wasnt dealing with a shop THATS ALL ABOUT MONEY! Repairs was done quick and they even threw in a free car wash and gas fill up!

They had my car over a week but only because they were determined to figure out what was wrong with it . Me and my fiancé even went out of town while they were fixing on it . This is the only shop in SC that I will let work on my baby, I do all my own work. But if anyone else can touch my truck its them. This amazing shop not only fixed my truck with the quickness but they dealt with the extended auto warranty for me, which made it such a stream lined process. Hi, this is a long overdue review. mason & sons are the kindest, most knowledgable, extremely patient, and reliably supportive auto repair place ive ever experienced. they helped me after my car hit a pothole which massively damaged the car in the middle of a road trip, passing through south carolina. they helped me save money by using used parts and walked me through everything they were doing simply and thoroughly enough for someone with little auto repair experience to understand. they helped me for the rest of my trip, even when it broke down again which turned out to be a faulty part that was installed, but their warranty service refunded and paid me outright for the service cost. they continued to help me even when i was no longer in the area and encountered another auto problem in a different state! so all in all, highly recommend this place if you usually avoid auto places because youre afraid theyll overcharge you because you dont have experience with auto knowledge. theyre incredibly helpful and very tolerant of people who are just starting to understand the repairs involved with owning a car and its parts

EDIT: AFTER they saw my review, the owner contacted me and gave us a portion of the money back that we had spent. This made the situation somewhat better hence the editing to 3 stars.Original review:They have nice enough people I suppose, but their prices are beyond ridiculous. Some people just want to drive Mercedes and rip customers. Unless you bring your loan officer, I would choose just about anyone else...For instance, they claim in their Google add that they dont charge for diagnostic, yet charged us $139 for one! And then misdiagnosed the entire problem. Hope you have better luck than us!

I am very impressed with the service that my car received. It was a bit pricier than I expected for the alignment ($89.95) but they did an all around vehicle check and told me that I needed a tire rotation and balance and a new engine air filter as well. I had all of these services completed and after about an hour and a half it was ready to go. I walked outside to a washed car inside and out and they even shined the tires for free with the maintenance! Very very impressed. My only recommendation is that the inside of the building could use an update/renovation as it seems pretty dated. However, these guys definitely know what they’re doing!

Warning!!! Lengthy positive review...Approximately 2 weeks ago I was on my way to Greenville for a conference when a warning light (Vehicle too low) came on. Fortunately I was near a rest area and was able to exit and park. When I got out of the car to assess I found that the rear end of my car was almost to the ground. I called AAA and immediately began looking for a repair shop to have my vehicle towed to. Being a female traveling alone and over 50 miles from my destination, I was in a very vulnerable position. Then the Lord directed me to Mason & Sons. After reading a few reviews I knew that this was the place for me. When I called and spoke with Jeremiah it was confirmation that they were heavenly sent! My car was towed to their shop and they even took me to get a rental car (Thanks, Brooks). They completed the work on my vehicle, and when Stephen, the owner, drove it to me he noticed that another light came on. He took it back to the shop to ensure that there was no problem with my vehicle and that I would be able to drive it back to my home 180 miles away. Stephen even gave me his cell number and told me that if I had any problem to call him. Did I mention that they washed my car and filled it up with gas????(Thanks, Mrs. Mason)Did I mention that they gave me a three year warranty on their work????Thank you Mason & Sons for turning a stressful situation into a blessing. The whole ordeal was handled in a very professional manner and I am thankful that I was directed to a fair and honest business that did not try to take advantage of me. Jay is an awesome mechanic who worked on my daughters car. He was very good at explaining at what was going on with her car. He had me in and out in less than a hour. Management is awesome also. Love this company.

Masons and sons helped my husband and our family fix our ac in our truck fast! They acted like they cared about us and that goes a long way! They definitely made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend them to any one and I will go there for now on for all my cars needs! I give them five stars hands down! Great customer service

I cant say enough about how impressed I was with my first interaction with Jeremiah and this group. Went to leave work earlier this week and discovered a flat tire. I called literally 1 minute from closing time looking for help and despite being 10 minutes away they offered to stay late to help. When I arrived they quickly pulled my car around plugged the tire and had me back on the road headed home. They definitely earned my trust and confidence . I wouldnt hesitate to take either of my vehicles back in the future.

Edit: Im updating my initial review. The guys at Mason and Sons have made up for the issue I had with their policy. They listen to their customers and try their best to make it right. Their customer service has exceeded all expectations. Im changing my review to 5 stars!Initial 3 star review:The guys at Mason and Sons do a good job at fixing your car quickly, but their (unavoidable) diagnostic fee and rates are steep. Every time I brought my car in for an issue, I was charged a $150 diagnostic fee, no matter how simple the issue. I liked that they clean the car each time before pickup, but this did not excuse the separate diagnostic fee. Overall, ok service. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are trying to get service done without paying an arm and a leg.

Ive been doing business with Steve for 15 yrs or more. If you want to have the most efficient service done on your car I HIGHLY recommend them. Every time Ive gone to have my car serviced they are professional, through, take photos to show you what they saw, and if there is an issue with their work..they will make it right. Steve Mason is probably the most knowledgable mechanic Ive ever met.. If you ever need your car looked at, I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Mason and Sons. I recently bought a 2004 VW Touareg, which needed a little TLC. Albeit more expensive to fix (Its a VW), I am very happy with the outcome and will return as a Customer. Jeremiah and Brooks are top notch. It took a full 5 days for the repairs, but the communication from Mason and Sons is amazing. From the first initial diagnostics to the completed work, they never left me out in the dark. I truly appreciated all of the photos they took of my vehicle and the work needed...which they will email or text to you....Also, nice touch....they clean and wash your vehicle after repairs are completed. Once again, Thank you Jeremiah and Brooks and the rest of the Mason and Sons staff that completed the work on my vehicle.

When I was stranded in a parking garage, the family folks at Mason and Sons rescued me, escorted me back to their garage, diagnosed and solved the problem, charged a reasonable price, and sent me home safely. Their courteous, friendly and highly competent service turned an otherwise bad afternoon into a pleasant experience. Thanks so much! I cant say enough good things!

Overall not satisfied with the customer-centric nature of this company.I scheduled an appointment to have plugs, wires and a coil pack replaced based on a known engine code for s 2007 Ford with parts I provided. They wanted to charge nearly $500 to install these parts that they could do in less than 90 minutes. They were rude and very evasive about how they could provide value and service my vehicle. If they simply would’ve said hey “we really don’t want to take parts from some consumers and install them. We preferred to do the entire diagnosis, this is what we recommend.” Or “We see that you want to do this, but here’s what we recommend…” That would’ve been fine if would’ve said that upfront. I wouldn’t recommend these guys.

Mason & Sons are very professional and had my car serviced in a timely manner. They kept me updated and were very thorough in their diagnostic testing about the problem with my car. All this impressed me greatly, especially the added touch of cleaning the car. I am very grateful and will use their services again.

Had a slow leak in a tire right before going on a trip. Had never been there before but they were recommended and are close to my work. Looked over my whole car and sent me pictures. They found a nail in the tire. They fixed it and even cleaned the car up and threw away trash!! My car was ready when I was done with work. Thank you for great customer service!!

I came in on a groupon for an oil change and will likely come back next time and pay full price.Everyone was friendly. They dropped me at work nearby and took my car to me when it was done.
