I just recently purchased my third Honda from Smail and Im very pleased to say that it was the least stressful car buying experience Ive had to date. The sales staff treats you with respect. The SUV we purchased was prepared perfectly and the finance process had no surprises. They even came through with a fair and honest price for my trade-in.I literally kept waiting to argue over something (as I have been conditioned to do that when buying a car). But, it never happened. Prompt service, everything done right. Their lounge is the nicest waiting area ever! Free hot beverages, free wifi, comfy seating and work areas, snack vending machines. And most of all, the feeling of confidence that my vehicle was being well taken care of by their technicians.

Tyler and the team at Smail Honda were great. Tyler answered all of my questions and made a point to actually treat me as a person instead of just a customer. It didn’t feel like transaction the entire time. Everyone was transparent about the process. It was also quick. There were a few snags, but they immediately made them right. The pricing was good/fair. All in all, I’d recommend Tyler and the dealership as a whole. I’d feel comfortable buying a car from them again.

Took my brand new car there after only having it several months because lights keep coming on, and Im having other issues with it. The service guy was very polite, but told me nothing is wrong with it, the very next day after service, the lights came back on... so I guess its just me. Also I do appreciate the car wash service attempt after being serviced, however Ive always hand washed it, and never wanted it to be taken through an automatic wash. So I would have appreciated them asking me to do so, because I would have told them not to! So now I have scratches all over a brand new car. Not happy with my experience.

We got a used Odyssey from Smail at a very reasonable price. We had an independent mechanic check it out, and he described it as very clean, inside and out. The salesperson I worked with was very kind, and everyone I interacted with at Smail was helpful without being pushy. They offered me an after-market warranty, of course, but didnt waste any of my time urging me to reconsider after I elected to decline it. They also went to some trouble to make sure that the vehicle came with two working key fobs, which may seem only fair---but my experience has been that not every dealer sees it that way. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Smail.

Smail is a wonderful dealership to work with, if you are interested in spending your money on a new vehicle with them…. But not very wonderful or helpful when it comes to needing assistance with repairs on that same vehicle once an accident occurs less than 3 years later. It is quite interesting to see the dichotomy presented from a personal lens , that this dealership is only interested in their bottom line and finding loop holes for reasons why they will not assist you, not at all interested in the customer experience over the life of the car you purchased from them.I will never be back to Smail Honda, for sales or for service, and will be sure to recommend family, friends, acquaintances and professional connections to utilize a different dealership when/if they are interested in purchasing a new vehicle.

Standard Buying Experience, Good ServiceWhen I purchased my vehicle new, it was exactly what youd expect going into a car purchase at a reputable large dealership. They were all very helpful, friendly, and professional. There was also the usual price haggling, which I think is silly.When my mother bought a used car, it was a bit more irritating. There was some back and forth settling on financing and pricing. They had offered a warranty for a higher price, which we declined. The issue was that after applying for financing, they arrived at an almost identical price point without the warranty; which was somehow higher than the offers given just 20min prior. Luckily I had her pre-approved for a third-party loan.The service, however, was always great. They repaired my 2010 accord according to a service bulletin at no cost to me (piston rings faulty, burning oil). They tested the oil consumption a couple of times then ended up rebuilding the entire top end. This was around 2017 when the vehicle had over 80k miles.Overall, its a solid place to go for a new/used car. Just be aware of the selling tactics that have somehow become normalized in this industry. I only gave 4 stars vs 5 because Ive purchased from other dealerships that were more transparent and straightforward.

First went to Smail Honda in search of a new Accord Hybrid. Under present circumstances Smail had very few new cars available and, of course, no Accord Hybrid. The salesman, Greg Williams, told us that he would enter a search for the model we were looking for. We noted that we could wait until the end of the month for a car since we were planning two road trips between the first encounter an the end of the month. Greg was diligent in his search and kept us informed of progress although each report noted a lack of success in locating an Accord Hybrid. Reluctantly, we were prepared to settle for a gasoline engine Accord, but upon next visiting Smail Honda Greg informed us that they had just received a CR-V Hybrid. We test drove that car and were completely satisfied with its performance, features and comfort. Within two days we were in possession of that CR-V. We greatly appreciate the attention we received from Smail Honda and the Greg Williams

Great Customer Service with all the staff in the service center! From making the appointment, service tech and payment desk. I had my oil changed and tires rotated within an acceptable time. I really liked the fact that they keep you updated with the status via text. The car wash was so unexpected and appreciated! Great Team! Thank you.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it took me 2 visits before someone talked to me. They were very busy the first time I entered, I spent 10-15 minutes looking around, in cars, and no one even said theyd be with me in a few minutes. I did return about an hour or so later and Cory saw me looking around again and asked if I needed help. Pretty sure hes glad he did as we bought a vehicle from him! Took our Certified Honda Pilot back to Smail Honda for the passenger heated seat not working. They told us the passenger heated seat doesnt work with air conditioner on but drivers seat does. I told them it doesnt work with the Air off they said it goes to temp. Well it was a cold morning the other day passenger put it on and said why doesnt it get warm. This issue needs fixed it was only a week after purchasing we brought it in. Its absurd we have to fight to get it fixed. We love the vehicle but are starting to get turned away by Hondas customer service.

Ive driven Smail Hondas for over twenty years. The reason for that is simple: great service and professional staff who go out of their way to make car-buying an easy experience. Curt Greek even called my insurance agent to notify her of my new car purchase. Now thats what I call outstanding customer service.

We were from out of state and were having serious car problems. Steve and his team took care of us, fixed our head gasket and radiator in a few days from dropping it off. We called your location on Thursday May 6, to see if we can bring our car there, get a rental to our destination and pick my car back up on the way back to our starting point. they took our car right away. Thank you for the rental that allowed us to get to our destination as well as having our car ready and fixed so we could make it back home safely about 800 miles away. The friendliness of everyone at this location was appreciated. The knowledge was greatly appreciated. If you need service, I recommend taking your car here. My car is an 2004, they did a great job. Too bad this dealer is far away from where I live or I would be taking my car here to receive service. Thanks again to Steve and team for getting my car fixed to help us get back home safely!

I would 100% recommend Smail Honda Collision Center. The paint on my car was chipping around my back window. The staff at the Collision Center was very helpful and friendly from the very first person I contacted to set up an appointment to the last person I spoke with when picking up my car. The work was completed within the time frame I was given and the process to drop off/pick up my car was completed with such ease. The issue was resolved so well. Moreover, my car was incredibly clean upon return. It was truly a great experience.

Bought my first new car ever from there back in 2018. Less than 3 years later the AC quits working. Called and scheduled a service appointment. I called before the warranty expiration but they could not get me in until after. As a result they would not cover it and wanted me to pay over 2.5k for parts and labor for the repair. Also at the time of the appointment they just tried to sell me another car. Very frustrating as you would think a new car wouldnt break so fast and would last more than 3 years. I then called corporate and have been waiting over 2 weeks to hear back. Still no word from them either. Not buying another car there again.

Rear window wiper broken in a car wash. Called Smail, came into garage, purchased parts and Smail mounted the new wiper assembly. Very well handled.

Smail Honda has the BEST Service Department in Southwest PA. Vinnie Grieco is my Service Advisor. Even tho I did not originally purchase my CRV at Smail, I never ever have a problem getting right in. They are always transparent with fees and necessary maintenances. Won’t go anywhere else. Even take my other car (Toyota) there.

Did a great job and even went for a ride with me to make sure what I meant when describing it. Very wonderful people always. I only ever had 1 bad experience there and it was minor but its the reason for the missing 🌟. Our service manager, Brandon, was very courteous and patiently explained the work that was required. The waiting area was clean and socially-distanced. Everyone wore masks. Even though the Service department and waiting area were busy, I felt reasonably safe. The work was completed in less than the estimated time, and the bill contained no surprises. I noticed that the mechanic used a hygienic covering on the seat and headrest, plus a disposable mat on the floor to keep the interior clean. Waiting is never fun, but in this case, it was a pleasant experience.

A world of difference between my experience at Smail Honda vs Smail Acura, which was not good at all.

I had an amazing experience with Smail Honda. My car broke an axel and I was stranded during my lunch break. The part was on a recall due to corrosion issues, but I had put it off and never got it fixed. I called Honda and spoke with Vinny and he gave me a number for the tow truck driver. I had the car towed to them and they had my car back to me in the same day with 2 new axels. I couldnt believe it. My car was ready before I even got off work. They were amazing and it was even washed. Thank you so much Vinny. I really appreciate all your help.

I had one problem when I sat down to sign paperwork finance lady was super rude and she had wrong price and it was pointed out and she started throwing paper around and I could tell she was very upset. Jordan our sales lady was amazing though she gets 5 stars!! Finance lady I wouldn’t even give 1 star she could use a refresher in customer service.

Smail Honda did an absolutely fantastic job with our purchase. We went in to look at a 2 year old Ridgeline. The team was great in answering our questions and their finance team are top notch. They were able to get a rate for us lower than our own credit union. After purchase, Justin made sure to explain all the bells and whistles as well as call and check up on how the truck was driving. We will be back again for our next vehicle.
