Had a great experience! Friendly and welcoming staff. The seating area is bigger than it looks from the outside. We loved the selection of vegan options for snacks and breakfast foods. I enjoyed an iced coffee with oat milk and lavender. Highly recommend Kavarna! :)
Was in the area for a work trip and decided to check this place out for breakfast since my hotel didnt offer any. Boy am I glad I did! I loved everything about this coffee shop from the staff and their friendly service, to the delicious breakfast options and fantastic coffee. The atmosphere is amazing with different levels and an industrial but cozy feel. Next time Im in Green Bay, this will definitely be on my list of places to visit!

Cute little coffee shop! They offer gluten free food as well. The place is spacious and decorated nicely. Its located downtown near other shops. If you want a downtown coffee lounge vibe, go here. 😊
I asked if I can have my coffee in a bigger size but was told that id have to change it into a latte for that. And waited for a breakfast wrap for 25 min. Shouldve just dined in somewhere. Thought it was going to be a little speedier.

Kavarna is (in my experience) the coffee house in the downtown Green Bay area. IOn weekdays youll see a mix of students, business people, young moms, local elected officials, etc. Efficient service and good coffee are the hallmarks of the place. They offerp nice but fairly modest food choices.
A Green Bay institution that I have had the pleasure of visiting for over 10 years now. Ive had nearly everything on the menu and I can say that it is all good. My favorites include their vegetarian entrees (this place used to be all vegetarian!), especially the Cheesy Artichoke and the Feta Portabella. Their homemade hummus is very tasty too!
Excellent food/beverages and even better service! Family operated and owned. Very cool place with great options for everyone. STRONGLY recommend everyone stopping in and checking it out. Help support local/family owned business. 👍👍

This place is great! There is a wide variety of food, drink and dessert options! The display case was full of decadent options! The menu has a nice variety of vegetarian, vegan, and regular options. The squirrel burger with walnut patty was excellent, the blackberry peach crumble was great, the pumpkin spice kombucha was spot on! The prices are reasonable, the ambiance is great. Definitely check this place out if youre anywhere in the area. Its worth the drive!
One of the best shops Ive visited in my travels. Everything is fabulous about this shop; the owners, the coffee, and the food. I had the best breakfast wrap that I can recall tasting. large, buttery, and delicious. The Americano was smooth and the lemon slice was perfect. Highly recommended.
Great vegan/vegetarian restaurant right in downtown Green Bay. There is so much space in there I was very surprised to see how far back it went. My friend and I got a tufo and an egg scrambler wrap which were both very substantial. The outside of the wrap was actually toasted so it gave the wrap a very unique texture. We also got two slices of the sea salt and olive oil avocado toast which was very thick and delicious. Last thing we got was the granola oat bowl with nuts and crasins. Very delicious and was made vegan. Next time I am in Green Bay i will be going here for breakfast.Also the barista in the stilettos was killing it today! Great customer service.
I came here today for lunch and asked what can be prepared gluten free as I have a severe allergy (celiacs). The cashier was very friendly and asked someone who knew the answer behind the counter. He assured me that the gluten free hummus toast would be my best option. I specified it needs to be gf for an allergy twice to two different workers. As I was eating it, I double checked with the staff and they told me it was not gf bread.I am very disappointed because I asked so many times and was clear about my allergy. I now am very sick and will be for days. Im not one to post reviews but the staff needs to know and not make this mistake with others.

A must visit in Green Bay. Coffee from our favorite Milwaukee Anodyne roasters. Absolutely perfect drinks and desserts. I’ll definitely return for some more ginger lavander latte (such a balanced taste). Cortado, coffee with two scoops of ice cream and white chocolate macadamia cookie were also great. We liked the interior and the service as well.And don’t forget to grab home a pack of Anodyne coffee.

With the dining area closed it was still a very warm environment to be in, their barista was engaging and made valuable conversation, my chai latte was lovely, and in the limited outdoor seating I was able to catch quite a bit of sun. It was a perfect place to chat with a friend and catch up. And! I love that they have vegan & vegetarian options.
We stopped here to grab some coffee and a snack. My friend ordered hummus and we were told itd be out in a few minutes... well, both of us had finished our coffee and it still hadnt come so we went to check on it and its been completely missed. They did apologize but it still took a decent amount of time to be brought out after that and then it had half veggies and half pitas when shed ordered just pitas. Ive been here before and havent had issues so hopefully it was an isolated incident.
My dad and I stopped for breakfast on a road trip, and I got a hot chocolate, which was the perfect temperature and it tasted amazing! I appreciated the option to choose a milk alternative. We also ate the Huevos Rancheros breakfast wrap, which was awesome! I absolutely loved the little treat of orange slices along with our order as well. All in all, this coffee shop is a gem, very detail oriented, with a cool vibe!! Kinda makes me wish I could live in Green Bay so I could work there lol

Digging the industrial feel to the place. Its way bigger than I originally thought. Lots of places to sit. Free WiFi of course. Quiet atmosphere. Can have a conversation without having to tell at each other.The mocha was alright. Wasnt bad. Have had better. The honey latte was more latte, less honey than other places. Wifes Italian veggie strata was kinda bland. The raspberry stuffed French toast was decent. Didnt like the the rye, or wheat bread they used. None the less we ate it all.The place is a little too hipster for my taste, but Im not a hipster.Worth at least a visit to see the place if anything.
I guess this place is usually pretty good but COVID conditions meant it only had take out options. Kavana...there is a black coffee option somewhere between an espresso and an americano. The long-black. You should check it out!
Just went here for the first time today as I was looking to try out a different coffee place than my usual Starbucks, and I can confidently say it was much better. The genuine atmosphere of the coffeehouse is warm and welcoming, which includes the staff. It looks very small from the outside but once you walk in there is a large room in the back with couches and chairs/tables as well as places to sit along the hallway. Great place for meetings or a study space. Tried their iced coffee which was good but would love to go back and try a hot coffee. Their food was phenomenal as well. Very unique menu and contains lots of vegan/gluten free options, but also has non-vegan/gluten free items. The black bean burger was great and I definitely recommend trying it if youve never had one before, especially on a pretzel bun!
If you are not a vegan or a vegetarian dont come food is Blane hot chocolate is the worst i have ever had. They do have a really nice space people are friendly but not worth it.

This place always has great coffee! They know how to make good espresso without burning it or it getting bitter. It has recently been purchased by a new couple who seem really nice. The staff is friendly. This place can get quite crowded and loud, so if you are coming in to study or send emails keep that in mind! I personally love the Affogato, honey lattes and lavender lattes.
Lots of options even with a limited menu for the pandemic. We are from out of town and accidentally placed an online order 5 mins before the store closed (didnt notice until after we got the confirmation email). We called to let them know we understood if they needed to cancel our order, but they insisted they wanted to fulfill it anyway. Excellent and friendly customer service. Would highly recommend!

Really liked this coffeehouse in what must have been an Egyptian style theater (would have been neat to see some photos of the remodel/history). I had a Mexican mocha which was a little sweet for my taste but good service and a comfortable place to sit with good WiFi so very few complaints. I didnt eat there but saw others who did with what looked like very tasty food.

Wow, kavarna is killing it. I just ate here for the first time. I got a lunch portobello wrap and a chocolate chunk cookie and it was delicious!!!! The wrap was so good, a little small though, for the price. They should really make the portion a little bigger but otherwise delicious♥️

Really like this place. Solid coffee options, great food options from a coffee house (breakfast and lunch included). The space is large, which is great given how popular it is. Plenty of options to lounge, eat, drink, chat, or do work, whichever youre there to do. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Wish I lived in Green Bay so I could come here regularly instead of only when in town.

Very nice place! Staff was friendly. I got the chai tea latte, it was very different than any other chai tea latte Ive gotten. It was very spiced and very little if any sweetener in it. Not a bad thing but good to know going in if youre expecting something else.

Always a classic. Ever since they switched ownership, there place has become brighter inside. In addition, they kept the old menu while also adding new products. Theyre also at the Farmers Market on Broadway, making said market even better! The new owners are doing a great job, and Im glad theyre around. Keep up the good work, guys!

Amazing service. We are from out of town and placed an online order right before they were closing without realizing (I hate being those people we felt so bad). We called and apologized and told them they could cancel our order and they still fulfilled our order and were so polite about it. So many vegan options, and the food and drinks were amazing. I cant believe how many options were on their extensive limited covid menu. I would love to stop by this town again post covid and see what their full menu is like.Also, just wanted to add that this place follows covid guidelines (which we havent seen a lot of on our road trip so it was refreshing to see) and everyone had masks. The staff we interacted with were phenomenal!!
I had a very nice first-time experience here. We originally live in Appleton, but ventured to Green Bay for a new atmosphere. This place had a wide variety of food for non-meat eating individuals. The woman taking the order was extremely patient, considering the line behind us, and was insanely kind. We will definitely be returning for both the kind workers and to try more items on the menu!

My favorite coffee shop in Green Bay!!!! I have been a regular for almost a year now and absolutely adore this place ❤️ my favorite drink is the mocha shake with a scoop of peanut butter in it with 2 extra shots!! So delicious. It is always best with wiped cream and chocolate drizzle on it as well!
One of the few places I can get a cortado, and its delicious! Nice selection of gluten free bakery to go with the coffee. Regular baked goods available too. Menu includes lots of vegan and gluten free options. Healthy and tasty!

I like Kavarna. I like that the new owners haven’t butchered the menu. Our experience there lately has declined. Kayla, the owner, took our order but never gave us mugs or a number, had to stand there and wait while she helped next customer. I had to tell her how to do her job, which is embarrassing and I was totally willing to brush it off as jitters, but I recently went there and one of the newer older ladies on the counter decided that 9:00 was finally a good time to put tables/chairs on sidewalk (sitting next to front door... very squeaky door, y not put them out right away when u open?!). THEN said lady decided that going through the posters was a good idea. SHE REACHED OVER AND ABOVE US WHILE WE WERE EATING!!!!! Guys, WTF?!?! Where are all the other nice girls that worked the counter for years? What u did to drive them out is driving me out as well. This is BS. Get smart!
Just got coffee and baked goods but was impressed with the size of the place and the number of people hanging out. Coffee was good baked goods we good. Lunch options looked good as well. The vintage shop in the coffee house was awesome dropped 30.00 on stuff that I did not need but love.
Could be so much better than what it isMost times I’ve visited I was treated with bad service but today was my final visit.I like the vegetarian selection. The menu lacks fresher food options like smoothies (the barista said all smoothies were made from concentrate). The environment is unbeatable in Green Bay.SOME of the staff has let me down many times. They don’t seem very present, aware, or enthusiastic about their job.For the owners: Between no enthusiasm from the girl who took my order and eventually having to ask to take my food to leave (after waiting 40 minutes), a few things set me off. The girl who took our order handed me food over the counter that we didn’t order. When I brought the food to the counter three employees stood there and avoided eye contact and ignored me. Eventually the lady who ordered the soup came and got it and none of the staff offered her a new one after it had been brought to our table. If you want to present yourself as a hip restaurant/cafe, get better staff or train your employees to know what’s going on and be friendly to customers.
Ive had some muffins there, they were tasty. I dont drink coffee, but the tea comes hot and fast. Its a fun atmosphere with friendly baristas. There is plenty of seating-they have two levels. They also have outdoor seating, weather permitting. Its always clean. This place is great for groups and business type meetings.

Passing through Green Bay and looking for Vegan eats lead us to Kavarna! Our whole family was able to have a variety of delicious food. The lady at the counter was really great at showing us all the vegan options. My kids loved the smoothies, the Kavarna house blend coffee was rich and delicious. We also enjoyed the vegetable soup, hummus wrap, and a side of pasta salad. The toddler plate was a mix of finger foods perfect for little ones! We will stop back if we pass through GB again!
The best coffeehouse and restaurant in the area - locally owned and run. The atmosphere is trendy and retro with a splash of fabulous! The food is unique and its all very tasty. The beverages are also very good. If youre from out of town you must stop here for your pick-me-up! LOVES KAVARNA!!!!
Great on winter days, but perfect on super hot summer days, too.Stopped in for an informal business meeting on a Wednesday afternoon. We enjoyed an iced latte, a lemonade (with rosewater...so good), and a mocha milkshake. The temp outside was 91. We had some baked goods... cheesecake and a gluten-free macaroon. Awesome.Perfect for alone time, a date, a group meeting or even a small event. Huge space, super chic decor, pleasant staff, and friendly patrons.Park behind and use the back entrance, park on the street, or park/bike a few blocks away and enjoy Kavarna after some shopping or exploring on Broadway.
Delicious!! Really enjoyed this place and could spend so much time here! I had coffee and a baked good while my companion had a wrap and milkshake. It was divine. The reason Im putting 4 stars is because there was a chalkboard with grammatical and spelling errors on it, while its not that big of a deal it does leave an impression. I would recommend for sure!
Went on my 2nd date with my bf here and its a great place to grab a cup of coffee/tea n something to eat. They have alot of artistic paintings hanging on the wall. Its even in a great area as well. The cat place is right next to it too which is awesome 😊

Excellent gourmet coffee shop in Green Bay! My husband and I have stopped here a few times now when we are in the area and love it. The coffee is consistently good every time and the food is also good! The staff is also friendly. Sometimes the service is slightly slow but it’s to be expected when waiting for good coffee.

Kavarna is great, the owners are super nice. Service for coffee only can be a bit slow, so dont stop if youre in a hurry. Bakery is always a great treat, and theres always something different. Food is consistently tasty, although i wish they offered a non-chip side.
Mushroom and wild rice soup was unbelievable!! Salad (not sure which one) was average. Had a couple dessert bars, which were really good and very rich

Been coming here since it opened at its first location. The owners have done an excellent job of providing a peaceful environment and healthy food. My personal favorite is the Cheesy Artichoke Wrap. What got me coming in the beginning was their coffee and it still does. The back part of the building has plenty of room to relax and it also has a childrens play area. Many students come here to study.

Every single time I come here to do order pick up I had the worst experience I can get there is no sevice, why bother with having a delivery/pick up service if you cant even greet and ask what order the person is picking up? Nor can they even bother to tell you, hey we are sorry, we are behind with your pick up order, it be a little bit yet, at least that way I could let the customer know how much longer the order going to be.
