Great grocery store. Very clean. Has a great variety of prepared food as well as good produce. They also have a good selection of cheese and meats. A little pricier than Meijer but again you are paying for quality.

We started going to this store recently. It is clean, organized & friendly helpful staff. We came because we prefer Boars Head brand for meats & cheeses. Flavor & quality without the additives. Worth paying a little more.

D&W is my go-to for high quality grocery items from produce to fresh fish. The customer service is outstanding and checkout is quick and easy. And they serve the best chicken tenders in town!

Two people walking around without masks on in the store in the height of the pandemic. The employees do nothing. I understand that its a tough job but you know what you got to get a spine and tell people whats going on. Every time I come in here theres always somebody walking around without a mask on. Clearly they dont care. This place should be condemned and shut down. I would never buy any of my food here.

I am unsure why Casey Troyer’s review is a complaint that they’ve seen customers without masks there and that store employees do not confront these people. This is unfair not only because workers are not responsible for the large portion of our local population that has refused to follow COVID guidelines (such as mask-wearing in public spaces) during this entire pandemic. Store employees do not have the authority to enforce government orders, let alone laws. Trust me, they have tried and learned that the consequences of confronting these anti-maskers are usually worse than just letting them shop and get out. By not interfering you can limit their time in the store, spend your own time cleaning and sanitizing after them, and prevent them from engaging in reckless behavior and intentionally coughing and touching things.Unfortunately, these anti-maskers often act as unhygienic as possible when “provoked”- it’s what they want, in many cases, so they can make a big scene. Therefore they cause more problems if they are asked to comply and become more of a health risk than their mere presence was to begin with. A typical outcome of being refused service is that the anti-masker refuses to leave until the cops come to escort them, and I know for a fact that many of our local police departments were refusing to respond to these situations and would just tell the caller to serve the maskless customer. So under those conditions, retailers and the like can’t be expected to confront/refuse every anti-masker while maintaining normal operation of their business. Especially when employees cannot physically force anyone out of their building- then they would be committing a crime, actually!*****But more importantly than everything I just said is the fact that the state mandates for masks in these spaces were no longer in effect at the time of Casey Troyer’s review (one month ago)! So I’m not sure what their problem is. Although I understand their frustration, at this point masks aren’t required (the vaccine is out too). I can only guess they are under the impression it is still required by that governor’s order which has already been lifted…?*****But still, at no point earlier in the pandemic would I put the burden of law enforcement onto customer service workers. Especially at their wages and how hard their jobs already are, especially during COVID times. Honestly, mask noncompliance is a bigger societal issue that goes beyond store policy. It’s not like the “no shirt/no shoes, no service” health & safety rule- that one is generally accepted in society (so it’s usually followed), it doesn’t have a massive ideological movement opposing it, and it has been codified into law as a permanent statue for a long time. So it would be reasonable to judge an establishment known for allowing barefoot patrons or something like that, because that’s clearly unhygienic and it is not be such a difficult/near-impossible thing for a store or restaurant to successfully keep barefoot people from walking inside their building. Businesses only have to refuse service to the very rare person who refuses to wear shoes- not to like every third person who enters and wants to shop there, like it would be with the maskless in the GR region.

Nice layout with wide roomy isles. Always clean and in top condition! Great quality meats and sea food at a fair price. The wine and beer selection is top rate! Staff is always helpful and nice to see familiar faces every time in.

I went to Meijer across the street to grab Thanksgiving stuff last minute because Ive been working a whole bunch the last couple weeks. They were out of everything so then I go across the street to d&w Fresh market where I found everything that I needed. Even some fresh sage hidden in the fridge aisle. Definitely saved my day because I worked at 12-hour day and went grocery shopping, I was hoping to get it all knocked out all at once. Thank you so much. And the employees are very nice. I came in right as they were closing and the guy was still very friendly and not snappy at all.

The Fast Lane shoppers at the Knapp Corner D&W do a fantastic job.

Pretty much the last grocery store in the area that doesnt feel like youre in a warehouse.

Just had to share that Andy at D&W Knapp went above and beyond to help my mom with a special surprise for my daughter. He communicated several times back and forth with my mom and was so accommodating. I love shopping here as it is always so clean and the staff is great! They always have what I need too! Please shop here whenever you can and thank you, Andy!

A beautifully laid out store with great fresh produce and well arranged aisles. A wonderful selection of fresh flowers and very easy checkout. They had pickling spice when no one else did. Very pleased.

A bit pricier to shop there, but they have a great variety of products. Not recommended for large shopping trips, but still a really nice, calm shopping market.

I come here after I get groceries at Meijer to pick up all the things they were out of. Always well stocked and not too busy. Its just hard to argue with the lower prices and one stop shopping across the street. D&W has my quick odd and end business for sure.

Excellent store in a great location. Check out their bakery! Their jalapeno cheddar artisan bread is mind-blowing! Great selection in their deli as well.

The size of this grocery store is ideal if you want to get in and out quickly. Most of their produce seem fresh, but the only downside for me is that they spray way too much water on them. This makes bagging the very wet vegetables slightly annoying. My hands and sleeves got quite wet in the process. Otherwise, the setup and display looks beautiful and appealing.

Always clean and neat and very friendly & helpful Emloyees. Lots of interesting and inviting foods fresh & frozen. The fresh meat counter is gorgeous. The Deli is very clean and neat and very good prepared food too.

Nice store, fairly new and well stocked. Their bakery is excellent and whenever I need to bring donuts for the Sunday morning group, we go there. They are huge compared to other stores around for about the same price.We use the pharmacy quite a bit and overall it is excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable (as you would expect) and timely (as is not always the case at other stores with a pharmacy).Overall very good impression from using the store over the years.

Their meat and produce are good. That is how I judge a grocery store . The guys in the meat department will cut, tenderize, or find any cut youd like. The checkout persons are friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I can say is that if an item is on sale, it will probably be sold out.

Its a nicely laid out store...if you compared just Meijers grocery area to D&Ws....Id pick D&W...Im sure there is price variances between both stores but at D&W I actually feel like Im shopping for my familys meals and not just shoved into part of a larger stores layout...just saying 🤷

This is such a convenient place to shop if you only need a few things, or want something more specialized. I love the deli section! The prices are not the best, but I like the Spartan Brand foods. They also have a great wine selection.

Love this store! Bright, clean, easy in and out. Nice wide isles. Not so big that its overwhelming, has everything you need, yet small enough your not in there forever. Stores laid out very nicely and very refreshing

I like this place because the store is neat and clean.

Not a fan of this establishment! They were out of paper bags today! I asked the young man working why they were out and he said he didn’t in know! Ridiculous! The customer shouldn’t have to suffer just because this worker who makes $10 an hour forgot to order paper bags!I left in my Beemer and returned to my gated community VERY unsatisfied!!!

Stopped in to see if the deli had anything decent for lunch, and they have a great chicken meal deal. Grabbed the chicken meal and a drink and did some work in the little lobby area they have at the front of the store by Starbucks. WiFi and utensils available so it was a great spot to work and eat lunch.

Best lunch salad bar in town! And you can knock out some shopping on your lunch while youre at it. And then grab a Starbucks on the way out the door! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Thanks D&W for making life a little easier. :)

I shop at D&W many times a week, I have been progressively disappointed. The bathroom didnt have toilet paper, the produce doesnt look fresh, the floor had sticky stuff all over it. Usually they help bag my groceries, but today noone offered. I think its Under New Management, I could be wrong, but I havent been satisfied the last few times, which makes me sad, because I used to love this store.

High end version of Family Fare. Bigger variety. Higher priced than nearby competition, but more interesting stuff.

I usually come here for specific items and deli meat. I mean they have Boars Heat meat and cheese at the deli and it is significantly better than Dietz and Watson, which everyone else carries. Some items I used to get at Meiners that they no longer sell I get here as well. Also natures path cereal. Good selection of items and a clean store. Oh and the deli staff seem to care a little more than Meijers deli staff.

Fresh skirt steak sold here. Hard to find elsewhere.
