This place even with weird hours has been the cleanest store Ive been in! The staff is hard working and just trying to get by with less than a handful of people.. please be courteous to the retail workers its not their fault nobody wants to work they are doing what they can to serve their community!

Whats wrong with store, Family Dollar, 1121 Michigan NE? They are not open, they dont answer the phone, they dont even tell you if theyre going out of business soon.Quite often, there are signs on the door saying they are closed when they are supposed to be open. You go online to check their hours, they say they are open. I know you cant rely on the computer all the time in terms of updates but for a store that has a habit of putting up signs saying they are closed even during daytime when they are supposed to be open, they should have a way of updating their hours online or just say they dont know when or how long they are going to be open everyday including weekends.I live just a couple of blocks from the store, and many times when I go there, theyre closed when theyre supposed to be open.Why dont they just tell the truth if they are going out of business soon and say thats what theyre now doing gradually? People dont have to make trips to the store for nothing only to find signs posted saying the store is closed, especially when store employees dont even answer the phone when you could ask them how long they will be open on that particular day and even on the next day. Thats if they are there at all!I really like shopping there, the prices are good, and its just within walking distance from where I live. But its disgusting when you go to the store only to find theyre closed because you cant reach them on the phone to ask them how long they will be open. Thats not the way to run a business. They make themselves look bad, really bad. Cant they do better than that? My family and I are looking elsewhere to shop, where the store is reliable in terms of price, hours and customers service.They shouldnt be in business. They dont seem to know what business means. Sloppy and disgusting.

Open again. The manager found out her son was a type 1 diabetic and was in the icu. Shes back now her son is stable and its back to normal hours 9am to 9pm please go support ms Erin as she returns to get your favorite family dollar back together :)

Both associates were friendly and helpful, and although it was busy, the store was cleaner than I’d seen it in awhile (it’s been a bit since I’d been in and they’ve made layout out changes as well). Overall a pleasant experience where I got some snacks and a needed item, and was out the door in a reasonably fast fashion for as busy as they were.

Dont pick up calls and dont have Ramen cup noodles in stocks one of the most favorite Ramen and its not on the shelves. Other than that its all good

I went to visit the Family Dollar on Michigan & Fuller St. They greet you when you enter the store the Atmosphere is so nice very organized & clean I will definitely be bk to visit.

If the store closes at 9:00 pm why are the doors always locked at 8:40 I made it there at 8:41 and the doors was locked I was sitting in the Parking lot calling for 15 minutes and no one answered the phone

HORRIBLE service. Employees ignore you if you’re at the counter ready to check out. Store manager doesn’t seem to really care, and cashier has a major attitude problem.Trash everywhere in the parking lot and ramp to the entrance. The inside of the store is absolutely disgusting! I was afraid of touching anything when I went there. Then again, I shouldn’t expect anything less from Family Dollar.

Atmosphere is not worth the deals. Needless to say, I wont be coming back to any establishment that doesnt treat me like a respected customer. Parking lot has always looked terrible, store is gross and dirty, coolers are a strange assortment of dingy or broken down looking, grocery selection needs to figure out if its a corner store or a legitimate place to buy your groceries, and the staff is a mixed bag. Theres better dollar stores out there, not sure how this one stays in business.

For some reason my smart coupons wasnt working when I put my phone number in. And the two women working went over my stuff I bought and the coupons to make i was buying what the coupons were sizes and so fourth. The stuff was right but they couldnt get it to work. So I ended up paying full price for my stuff and they didnt really try to fix the problem they just said mmm I dont know why it wont work. They should train thete employees better.

Very unorganized and messy. The cashier was nice though. Its what youd expect from a downtown dollar store. Trashy but has the necessities.

You know what. You get exactly what you would expect from this Family Dollar. The store was clean...enough. The staff was friendly...enough. It looked like every Family Dollar Ive ever been in. Where a C+ is an A. We grade on a curve here.

Just got off the phone with Josh. I was looking for something specific and he basically rushed me off the phone and had no interest in going to find the item I was looking for. I asked him if they had it and he replied maybe Im not sure you can always come in and look and as I was explaining I was calling around so I dont have to drive around the city he said I cant go look I have to go help other customersJust rude as far as I am concerned.

Great for picking up quick, household cleaners and air freshener.

The employees are rude disrespectful they are eating chips and bagging your items that you purchased and not wearing a mask wont be going back to this location on Michigan St. N.E

Lighting outside is horrible!!! And the service was awful. We were the only customers in the store and one employee was behind the counter and said someone would be with us soon. 10 minutes go by before she even makes an attempt to find the other employee to check us out after we finally asked if someone else was coming. When the other worker finally showed up was not friendly whats so ever!!!!!!

The workers are always pleasant, the store is understocked.

Sign clearly said says open at 8, yet i had to wait 20 minutes outside the store for them to open. Despite the fact that they knew i was waiting outside the entire time.

I like family dollar this is my go to neighborhood store, some of there stuff is a bit over priced but good place overall.
