Im just beginning to do some leather crafts so it was really good to go to the Tandy store and see the different leather types first handIts difficult to know what to get when buying online.The staff was really positive and helpful..The store is kind of hard to find.

Staff was incredibly helpful. Walked with me and helped me find everything I needed and answered all the questions I had. Prices were great as well. In an age of online shopping they make it well worth a trip out there.

They discriminate against people who have health conditions. I doubt their policy will include bringing samples to the car so that I can actually SEE my choices.

Great staff. I visited store twice in the last week. I was probably not an easy patient because of the little knowledge I have about working with leather. They were very helpful and patient with me in answering questions and giving me tips for my projects. I have been to several Tandy stores, this one has been my best experience. Highly recommended.

I always have some unorthodox request when I come in. I dont even work with leather, but the staff is always amazing and walks me right to whatever it is Im searching for. This week my starter stopped on a dead spot and I even got one of the staff to turn my ignition while I beat my starter with a hammer. Always excellent customer service.

Great staff, and the manager is well informed and knows the product well. They bend over backwards to help you find the products you need and will help you to think long term for projects. The prices are fair, but the customer service is unparalleled. Sure, you can find some of the products online for a little cheaper, but with that you sell your option to go in and see/touch/feel the leather, as well as lose the opportunity to ASK questions you may have. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a new hobby or to the casual shopper in need of a good belt. Youll find what you need there to make whatever you need, and the expertise of the staff to give you the confidence to do so.

Lil gal named Corney there is always sooooo very helpful! I only make a trip downstate (5hr drive) once a year but through out the year I can always count on her when I have difficulty. Like setting g my snaps with a line 24.Great customer service!!

Thought all the stores closed in Grand Rapids, but luckily this one didnt. Everything youve come to expect from a Tandy. A knowledgeable staff a good stock to meet your leatherworking needs. On a side note, just found out they offer their Elite pricing to Veterans.

For me it is 140 mile round trip to Tandy Leather in Grand Rappids. It is always a fun trip because the staff and manager are extremly helpfull. The store is well stocked with anything relating to leathercraft. To me the prices are a little high. But, so is the price of beef! I take advantage of the sales and, have a discount card. So with some imagination, practice, determination, the staff at Tandy and, word of mouth. My hobby virtually pays for itself. This store is above and beyoud any of the other craft stores😌
