I came in to get my tires from Tire Rack installed. one of the guys asked me if I was planning on using these tires for winter. Me, not knowing anything about tires I said yes 😬 he said he would not recommend these for winter. Nate was very very helpful! so overall my experience was good. He knew what he was talking about because clearly I didn’t. Left the shop with new tires and will be returning the ones I had previously ordered. whoopsies on my part!

After charging $75 for an oil change, they did not reinstall the drain plug correctly. Now I have a large puddle of oil on my garage floor. In the past I’ve been satisfied with this company, but I’m very unhappy today… and I don’t dare drive across town without proper oil to have them correct this. And I will not be giving them my business from now on.UPDATE: I just had another shop take care of this emergency for me. They found that Firestone did not reinstall the drain plug seal causing all the leaking now. So I must pay for another oil change since it’s necessary to drain the pan again to properly install the seal.And this “seals” my decision to take my car to another shop for future service. I will never use this Firestone business again. They can’t even do the simplest of jobs.

The management and techs at this location are excellent. I had tires from Tire Rack shipped to them for installation. They found a front end issue on my car that I had missed but sent me a video of the issue. They also worked past closing time on a Saturday to finish my vehicle. Their parts are a little expensive but have a lifetime warranty so Im not complaining. Will return and will recommend to anyone

Spent way to much for rear breaks and calipers, they didnt do it right took multiple days for an essentially easy fix. Its been just over a year and my car is spewing break fluid from said fix. Muffler man did my front breaks 3 years ago, and still perfect done right the first time and still going strong. Dont bring your car here.

I got a good deal on tires. However, I was given a higher price when I got there than what was told to me over the phone just 24 hours earlier. Took 2 and a 1/2 hours to change 4 tires. I dont think I will return. There is far too much competition out there to settle.

I sent my boyfriend to go get my breaks checked I set the appointment for 2pm and he didnt leave till 4:30 pm it should not take that long to check breaks they also sent him back with a $800+ estimate and stripped out a stud and said i dont know how it happened and sent him out with only 4 Lug nuts and didnt put 5th and stripped a couple other lug nuts so now i cant get the tire off and didnt tighted some of the lugs and i could loosen them with just my fingers.

My daughter lives there for school. The new young owner was very polite with her issues and took the time to describe what was the issue was with myself over the phone. She’s been there several times before and she told me the attitude there has changed completely since last year and the new staff is doing an excellent job. I very much appreciate them helping her and did a great job. Also liked that they informed her ahead of time to have her roommate follow her because of there precautions with the virus. It’s great knowing she’s in good hands.

Ive been here 3hrs now. They said it would take 90 minutes. They broke my lug key, made me go look for a new one and pay for it. They said theyd pay me back for it, havent gotten paid back, and its been way longer than they said it would take. Dont recommend unless you have good experiences with them.

Booked online and got my email confirmation saying I reserved for 5. It said if there is a scheduling issue they will contact me which they never did via email nor phone. Figured everything was good to go. Drove 45 min to the location and they said they had to reschedule me for some time next week. He was such a jerk about everything.

Im usually leery of big chain mechanic shops. I had a great experience here! They informed about about some tires I had ordered, and had more appropriate ones in stock to put on my car. The tech let me know about their progress a couple of times during my wait. Not pushy at all about service add-ons, unlike most places. They told me about an alignment issue, that I would have to take to my mechanic to fix. The tech was up-front about a price difference that would get refunded to my card. Would definitely take my car back there!

We purchased our tires here for two cars. It’s three days out to schedule a nail removal. I even offered to drop the car off. What would happen if we were down a car? I would never buy here again. If I would have known about this I NEVER would have purchased here in the first place. I wish I could take them back.

Price was fair for the alignment, but I waited almost an hour past my appointment before they even started.

While I realize that Firestone is a franchise and their technicians have to make a living, I felt like I was being talked down to and pushed around to pay for overpriced services so then they could make a commission; I feel as though if I were a man, I wouldnt have been pushed as much to pay for services I later found out I didnt really need. Luckily, I have two brothers who are mechanics and they informed me of Firestones outrageous prices on parts (commission) and labor. The only reason that Im giving two stars is because of the free brake service check and being given the invoice so then I could go somewhere that I could afford and not be treated as if Im stupid.

Wait was way too long. Took them 2 hours just to inspect my brakes, then another 2 hours to do the brakes

Weve been loyal customers at this location for 3-4 years now. We are officially done doing business here because we cannot trust them any further. The first incident we had purchased a new set of tires from them. I was hearing a slight noise in the front left wheel. Brought it in and they said there was nothing wrong. 6 months later, the same wheel is thumping. Bring it in again, and Im told the ball joint is bad and needs to be replaced and I need new shocks and struts all around. Then Im told that since I didnt address it right away, the tire has worn incorrectly, and Ill need to buy a new set of tires! Less than a year after I bought the first set. Recently, we bought a new car. It was making a thumping sound in the rear wheels. After 2 1/2 days of having the car, Im told that some bushings are bad, and I need new rear struts. Its going to cost me $1400 and they cant guarantee it will fix the thumping sound. The service manager explains to me what would be done, but cant explain to me how this would cause the sound Im hearing. So I decide to take it to another shop for a second opinion. Second shop says that the sound is coming from the brake calipers that need to be replaced, which makes much more sense, and that my bushings and struts are fine! Now I wonder if I really needed to replace them all on the other car???? Over the years they have forgotten to reattach parts and have just seemed to be more and more confused and overwhelmed. At one point, they bald faced lied to my wife. Do business with this location with caution.

Called ahead to see if this location could get me in. They squeezed me in ASAP, told me it would be about an hour, they got done in 45 min and I was back on the road super fast. They didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. The manager on duty was very nice.

Got the lifetime alignment. They forgot to give me the before and after specs, when I called they were going to text them to me. I waited for over 3 hours and even called to check in on it. He asked to give him another 10-15 minutes. I ended up driving from Rockford to pick up the specs in person because he never tested me. The alignment was 100x better then it was but they were unable to fix it right because 2 bolts were seized. I will need to go back with new bolts to get it done again. Nice guys, and the guys in the back know what they are doing. Guy in the front kinda passed me if though.** Update**, the guy in the back didnt know what he was doing. He got fired soon after my visit, and I when I went back to fix the alignment they were able to do it without me buying the new parts. My second visit I did have to ask for the specs sheet again but the visit was much nice.

What a bunch of nice guys. Ruben open the door for me and my children 15 minutes early. He only had one Bay he could use at the time but he didnt complain he just was very honest about not being able to give a definite time and he kept very pleasant attitude. The phones are ringing off the hook and people were coming in it was quite a busy day for them but we still got out of there within an hour and a half. They got me in right away and tried to keep the price as low as possible. Im the kind of person that asks a lot of questions and they patiently answered everyone for me. I really appreciate those guys that work there.

Called about 2 new tires for my Saturn Ion. Eric was very helpful. Got me set up with an appointment for a great deal on 2 new tires. Didnt realize that they were in Wyoming when I called, and I live in Holland. The tires on my car were in such bad shape that I couldnt actually drive the car down the highway to get to Firestone. I called Eric back to ask him what I could do, and he suggested that if I have full coverage insurance, they usually offer a free tow. Excellent advice! I didnt even realize that about my insurance. Very friendly and helpful, and even though I didnt end up going here, I would recommend them to anyone looking for tires, living in the GR area.

Blew a tire memorial day weekend and was taken to this shop with 20 minutes until they were closing. The staff was extremely friendly and assisted me and my mom in removing our rusted out spare and getting us back and rolling.

I was my friends car and there was a tow truck dropping off a car. As he was putting the car, (that looked like the power steering was out) into a parking spot while doing it all himself the mechanics just watched out the garage windows while finishing their breakfast although it was after 830am. Although I wasnt getting work done myself this was enough to show how lazy they are and Id probably spend more money with them..my friend brought their car back because these dummies did a front-end wheel alignment knowing she was waiting for her new tires to come in. Not very smart

Super friendly staff (advisor and technician). I bought a set of 4 fires, road hazard and lifetime alignment packages. The damage wasnt too bad considering prices in the area. The advisor listened to me, answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood everything he was saying. I would suggest them to anyone.

The Tech who serviced my car could not drive a manual. He almost drove my car off of the embankment. I had to go out and move the car into the bay for him.

Horrible servive. We made an appointment on a friday for the following thrusday. So getting there we were told we can have your cars oil changed 2 hours after the orginal quoted time. We actually agreed on one hour and 15 minutes. So we get back and check the oil before leaving and notice that they didnt even change the oil filter which is a very important part of changing your oil. So they give us a refund and we didnt get our other cars oil changed. Very bad mechanics not competent at oil. Changing oil is a very easy thing and It wasnt done correct. Never going back.

Went to this location for years and everything was great. New staff came in and everything quickly went downhill. Drove my car around for awhile not knowing they didn’t put my oil cap back on after an oil change. Thankfully they replaced it for free. Was having hvac instrument issues after a visit, so I was told to drive there and they will take a look... 20 min drive later and they scheduled me an appointment for 2 weeks out without looking at my car. Will not be visiting again.

Shoddy maintenance at best. Air intake left disconnected after an oil change and air filter swap. Check engine light came on after leaving. Maintenance required light not reset. No new oil sticker. Worried they didnt do the oil change properly with other immediate gripes. Would not recommend taking your car here.

Blew out a tire around @8am so I needed winter tires. I called a different Firestone, they said they were out of stock on any winter tires for my vehicle AND they couldnt put them on for another week. Called the 28th street location and Matt got my car in immediately. Awesome job to this location once again!

Got a front axle brake job done on my 2010 Volvo S40, new rotors and break pads. Brakes never have squeaked until my car was serviced here. Since the service was completed starting day 1 my brakes squeak SO LOUD, extremely loud I cant even describe it. I pay almost 400 bucks and they tell me its normal it will get better Then I asked if they used ceramic pads versus part metallic/ceramic and they said they wouldnt matter. I have had much better experience at the Beltline location. I have gone here in the past because it is closer to my office. Will not in the future. This is my biggest issue among some smaller ones.

The parking lot is small took three passes of the place to figure out how to get in the lot. Had to drive between a parked car and a pole to squeeze into their lot. The manager was friendly did a great job trying to up sell us.

They where so mean they would not put my tires on car.

My mother got stuck with a flat tire while visiting me the GR area on a Sunday. Although they were busy, this Firestone was able to squeeze in my moms tire and get it fixed so she could head home across the state. Great service!

Appointments mean nothing. Extremely slow service. The manager wont help the guys get stuff done. Had a 3 oclock appointment and didnt get pulled in til 3:30. Told them I needed to be somewhere by 5 and they didnt care at all. Would not recommend going here

The website claims they are open on Sundays at 9am so I made an appointment for Sunday at 12pm. I got there around 11:10am to get everything taken care of early. When I arrived they looked closed so I went to the door and noticed it says theyre open on Sundays at 9am. I pulled on the doors and they all were locked. I called and never received an answer. Due to their false advertisement I wasted time out of my day driving all the way up here for nothing.

After scheduling an appointment, I arrived on time and waited for 35 minutes. I understand that things happen and can run behind, but I was also not a walk-in. Not a single person was considerate enough to come over and let me know they were running behind. Extremely disappointed in the lack of quality customer service and consideration for the schedules of their customers. Having made an appointment, I had other places to be. Extremely dissatisfied.

Scheduled an online appointment to get new tires. I arrived on time for my 8 am appointment but had to go elsewhere because there was not an employee that could change the tires. On top of that, they didnt even have the tires I needed for my car. The fault definetly goes to their online scheduling system.

Came in right after they closed, they let me keep my car in the garage over night, GA e me a good deal on tires, and let me pick it up the following day. Very friendly. Will be getting my next set of tires from them.

Price was $50 higher when got there in person, 255.16 instead of 205.16 Asked if I wanted an appointment, but then told me to just come in. Got there said the employee would do right then but it took 1hr and 40 min to change 2 tires and do an oil changeThat should have taken 30 minOnly 5 to check the alignment. But an employee had time to change the radio station. Not a happy customer today. Irritated but they get 2 stars instead of one for being cheaper than Belle tire and Walmart for my tires and installing them.

The worst tire shop ever, especially if it runs by manager named Matt, send my car in for tire rotation for second time now bc they never did on first time but unfortunately didnt do this time either, I was sitting on waiting room and saw them didnt do it and they lied to me they did than after confronted them been offered to take car in and do it, which I refused.But one thing i know they are PoS employees.

Parking sucks, they failed to takes notes on less critical things that needed to be done while it was in for a front end work. the minor things where never done nor charged, service writer could really care less and is too busy answering the phone and talking to 2 or 3 people at once instead of the customer explain what all needs to be taken care of on the car.

Its a little rundown but they have at least one quality mechanic there. Not too shabby for a place thats been the forever.

Friendly people, but of course being Firestone, definitely on the pricey side. Couldnt work on my dually though so had to leave empty handed.

Needed an oil change, four new tires and a new bulb for my light and that took only 3hrs. Thats basically an hr for each thing they had to do.

Unforeseen flat at Division and 28th.. fix a flat in a can didnt work. Replaced within 1/2 hour at 5 pm on a Saturday.... still cruisin along!

We brought a tire to get replaced that had a hole in it. Instead of upselling us on a new tire they told us they would patch it instead. While Discount Tire would not patch it and said since it had been driven on, it was in too bad of shape and had to be replaced. Thanks Firestone!!!!

Not enough workers. 1hr 30 min for oil change. Did not do everything requested then when reminded they said they were to busy to get it back in.
