Aldi is a unique experience. It doesnt have most brands that one would know but their version of it. They have good prices on produce and a lot of other unique items to try. Bring a quarter to use to get a shopping cart...you get it back when you return it. Also, if you can bring your own shopping bags that would be good as they arent free here and they DO NOT bag groceries for you. I wouldnt mind that except that they just put it all back in the cart for you...so then you have to take it all out again to bag it. I cant say I care for that. At least at Food For Less it gets sent to a bagging place quickly and easily. Over all this is not a store that is easy to get your weekly groceries from but rather one to check out every once in a while when you want something different. Thats my take on it.

I dont like this storm very much. Its very small and the way the store is set up is not very customer-friendly for first-time shoppers. And if you dont know that you have to pay money to get a cart and you have to pay for your own bags. And their prices really arent that much cheaper than regular grocery stores.

This was my first visit to an ALDI here in the US. Its a quaint size store with most of the essentials and some seasonal promotion items. Selection is narrow, but the prices are kept low thanks to their case packaging/display methods. They dont provide shopping bags, so remember to bring your own, and have a quarter handy if you plan to use a cart. Dont expect fancy vegetable displays or tons of advertising, but its got all the staples and good quality. Cashiers were friendly and fast :)

The store was clean and well kept. Not too busy

We really liked their selection and prices. They do not bag your groceries but instead load your groceries into another cart and you can go bag them yourself at a counter. Bags are 10 cents each and it is a 25 cent deposit to unlock a cart. Well definitely be going back but bringing our own bags and a quarter.

I shopped here for the first time today. I liked the selection and had a great experience shopping. I removed one star because it was my first time here and the woman at the register didnt tell me about bagging the groceries at another counter so I went out to my car and did it. I felt confused and stupid for not knowing what to do & feel like the customer service could be way better.

My boyfriend and I love Aldi. He’s German and always wishes there were more German products in the US stores but there are some...usually at least. I’m so glad we finally have Aldi in AZ as we always had to make trips when we visited CA if we wanted to go to one! You can always find many delicious, affordable and unique food items! You never know what you’ll come across. 😺

I am so excited to have an Aldi in Goodyear! I visited the day after the grand opening, and it was a popular place for sure. Even so, the store was well-stocked and all of the employees were pleasant. All customers and employees were masked up.I was most excited about the artisan cheese selection. They had somewhere around 40+ gourmet cheeses, all with prices that were so much better than traditional grocery stores.I will be back soon to take a closer look around the store! This is going to become a regular stop for me.

Good enough experience. Store was clean and the staff was friendly. Be sure bring an actual quarter (25¢) coin if you want a shopping cart; you do want a shopping cart if you are buying more than a few items. Either bring your own bags or pay 10¢ each for them. Youll pack your own groceries, too, either on the giant shelf behind the registers or out in your car. We bring a cooler for the frozen stuff and just put it all directly in there. Return your cart to get your quarter back. Check the hours before you go as the times vary.

First experience of this new location was good. Store was quite big for an ALDI. Clean, neat isles, friendly staff. I was eying the prices on many items, and it seems the prices are lower or about the same as Wal-Mart across the street. There were some good promotional items to get customers in the store like a low price per pound on big turkeys. Some packaged items like chicken breast seemed lower, but you get a few less chicken breasts per package, so overall being the same price of walmart. So definetely look for the great deal that you can find in the store. It is still fun to have a store near by, and we will definetely be going back.

It was hands down the most affordable store. This was my first time and there were two unexpected things you should know 1. The carts require a quarter (the actual coin) to be used 2. Bags cost 10 cents per bag.The store was clean and the prices were awesome 👌

Great employees but I find allt of expired food here. Like mozzarella cheese balls... they were 2 days expired when I purchased them:(

Clean, but the food quality looks .99 store quality. Cheap grocery if you are watching your budgets...check your dates, plus i brought two bags of Chinese dumplings they were spoiled...house hold items i love

Workers are nice and helpful. Beware of a Karen that shops there. She wears scrubs, is tall, has grey hair, Caucasian in her early 50s, and yells at other customers who are walking the wrong way!!. Although, aisles are designed for two way traffic.

It was good and I got a banana nut bread for only 3 dollars too

Enjoy shopping here however the produce particularly the lettuce hearts were molded and goin bad. I didnt notice until I opened package had to throw out package

I’ve had a horrible couple weeks and have avoided going out anywhere but today I decided to make an Aldi run and I’m so glad I did. Not only have I always loved Aldi (being from Illinois), but the customer service here is always the best! Especially today, when I was checking out, I was greeted by Mikael and we had a short conversation which just made my day. He was so extremely nice and the best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. Even if this location had no inventory, I would still go just for the service! Lol.Thank you Aldi for hiring this man and thank you Mikael for your kindness. I will be reaching out to management to give my feedback as well :)

Amazing and affordable prices. I can fill up 3 or 4 reusable bags and not spend over 35 dollars. Great selection of items too. The staff is friendly and the store is clean as well. If you are on a budget, this is the place to go.

First time shopping here. Found many different brands and items to try. Smaller grocery store but theres also less people. Got alot of groceries for the $180. I spent. Remember to bring a quarter to pay for your shopping cart and your own shopping bags. Will be back for sure.

Great for produce overall- prices can be amazing and great quality. They have a limited supply though and the majority of their stock isnt name brand so Youre never quite sure if it will be worth it til you try it. Also watch the prices at checkout because they often come up wrong. They charge for bags to help encourage you to bring reusable ones which I love!

I am usually in and out fairly quickly. They have some really great weekly deals and some regular products are good deals too. For example, a box of Capri Sun on sale at another big box store is $2.00, it was under $1.70 the past few times I have been in the store.If you see something you want - get it. They have new stock coming in all the time, but the deals are available until they run out. Dont count on it being available the next time you go in.Bring a quarter to use a shopping cart. You get the quarter back when you return the cart. Also bring your own bags, or purchase them there. Its all to help keep costs down.

I didnt get into the store first thing in the morning like I had planned so I was afraid they would be out of the items I wanted. But the store was pretty fully stocked even though it was mid-afternoon. The store was clean and the employees that I saw were really nice.

I feel this is a very nice place people there are very friendly its very clean . The only problem I had was their pricing . A lot of their tags were not under the correct product . And I did have one item that did ring up at the incorrect price Out of the 26 items that I purchased So I got my money back for that . This was my first time in there . They are very reasonably priced On some items . Some items are little higher than normal . But that is normal for any grocery store . Overall I give it five stars I will go back . The one thing I cant believe is. I do work in a grocery store And at Aldi The cashiers get to sit in a chair . That was a first for me ever seeing a cashier sit in a chair Unbelievable . The grocery store I work in There would be no way in hell you could sit down on the job and get paid for it They would have a fit .

I liked it. Was there today for the first time. Went to grab a shopping cart had a chain attached to it. I was trying to pull it apart but it wouldnt move. A lady walking by said you need to put 25 cents into it. So you do have to pay for your own shopping cart. Absolutely phenomenal food though. The best choices compared to other stores. At least my opinion anyway...

Not me never again. Was there this morning, one cashier who happened to be the manager. I asked a simple question of in the morning is there only one cashier on duty. He got smart and told me there were 3 cashiers on duty. I said I see only 1. He got smart again and then smirked at me. To many other choices in the area, I will never go back there and will put this on social media. Was really no biggie but he cavaliar attitude turned me off. I guess I would be mad if I was a glorified grocery worker. Lol, SEE YA.

It’s okay. Some prices are okay. It’s a hit/miss with selection. Checkers have serious attitudes and the whole throw everything in your cart as fast as they can bit —to make numbers— is annoying. Efficient is great but not when it smashed my groceries.

I like the store,great prices but the employees have no customer service. The black lady was gossipping with a friend and just stood in the way of the meat and didnt move.and the other black guy that was sweeping looked angry at everyone in his way. The checkout girl was sweet though.

Love the price the the quality. Need more cashiers the gal was fast, but with being in such a hurry our grocerys was thrown to the cart roughly other than that they store is a great place to shop.

Interesting place, they carry some different items that are not found at other grocery stores. Remember to bring your own bags. They dont bag your groceries. Also charge a quarter for a shopping cart.

It seems small but it always has such fun things to choose from and random good deals on produce. I highly recommend trying their different cheeses and hummus (chocolate cherry cheesecake is yummy).

Just abandoned my groceries and walked out. One checker working. Customer with a cart full in front of me, but checker wasnt scanning groceries and was instead talking on the radio, and then walked away from the only open lane to check on whoever she was talking to. Why even come here? Safeway and walmart just a block away. Terrible Service.

It has a dollar store vibe with higher end products. It’s a unique shopping experience that is kind of fun sometimes. They have really good fruit leather.

Prices are not competitive but glad they have some organinc items. Got the whole organic milk but will NOT be buying that again as it tasted sweet (maybe you like on the sweeter side, then this is for you. The sparkling italian water made up for the milk... I normally wouldnt drink it a room temp but this was so good that it being room temp was no problem - it made it taste that much better once it was cold.

Usually I have a great experience at this location, today not so much. I am 40 weeks pregnant about to get in line that appeared to be open, while one of the cashiers was talking to her friend in line and told me the line was closed. So I preceded to go to the other cashier that started having a long line appear (at least 5 customers). After I checked out, people started getting in the other cashiers line and she started helping them? This cashier who was to busy talking to her friend needs a little extra training on customer service and maybe should be monitored on how she works. It’s disappointing that she thinks it’s acceptable. The store is to new to have bad customer service-next time I will be going to Happy Valley location and referring family and friends there for better customer service.

Love going to Aldi! They have great products and I always stock up at this store before I go to other grocery stores. Best selection of inexpensive organic products too. Love the Aldi finds area.

I was very impressed with this store, we had one in Michigan that was nowhere near as nice as Goodyear. The produce was awesome and plenty of fresh meat, all of the selections were great. You definitely cant beat their prices.🥰

I love aldi. Its like 90% non-name brand things for same foods. GREAT QUALITY.like superb!you rent a cart with your own quarter but you get it back when you return the cart. Employees are super friendly and helpful. You bag your own groceries too. That saves on time in the line when cashiers have to check you out.

Watch out for the price charging at the register. I usually don’t check the receipt, but I wanted to check the price on the item for comparison at home. Then I realized that two of items were charged twice- total of $7.50. I trust the cashier to watch what they are scanning -yet this happens. Of course mistake can happen but large size item like pizza? And why would I see the same item that was scanned in the beginning shows again the middle (front the cart)? I was busy packing from the cart while Cashier was scanning, so was not watching.I like the store because it reminds me of old days when we lived in Europe. I’m disappointed that I can’t have relaxed mind trusting if I am paying for what I shopped only.

Staff was great! Ian was super friendly in helping us find what we needed. (Obviously it was super busy being new) but he went to the back and brought out things we needed. Lindsay was at checkout and was really nice.

The First ALDI store in Arizona. Glad its in our town of Goodyear. Great prices! Avocados .24 cents crazy. Bring your own reusable bags or they provide boxes. Dont forget a quarter to get a shopping cart and Dont worry its refunded when your done shopping.

The store has a weird dollar store feel to it due to its seemingly random placement of items in their shipping packaging. There is also a bizarre coin lock system in their shopping carts which gives me the impression they dont keep enough staff to maintain carts or crime is really bad at their stores. Whats good is they have a few items not available at normal stores such as keto breads.

Great prices on bread and produce. Love their brand of chocolate bars. Always have some type of meat on sale. Bring your own bags and a quarter to get a cart and you are good to go.

Best German store in town

Busy but still fast and friendly. Interesting selection of just about everything! Loved everything we got from there and with it being 3 minutes from my house I will definitely be there often!

To use a cart you have to pay $25 cents and they say you get it back if you return it. We didn’t. Double check your receipt, things are priced incorrectly. Very clean and stocked though. Most of the staff is nice, some aren’t (like the lady at the door). Brings bags unless you want to pay for them. And that’s my helpful tid bits.

It was packed but Im sure that will slow down. Even with as many people as there were they had excellent customer service and check out was quick. I will return the produce was fresh as well as the meats.

Ive been looking forward to visiting an Aldi for AGES ... which may have been why it was a bit of a let-down. Their selection was okay, I guess. Nothing spectacular or unusual, but very good quality, and reasonably priced. There wasnt as many organic items as I was hoping, especially in the produce department.But my major issue, the one that might keep me from coming back, is that its IMPOSSIBLE to find anything. Snacks are next to the dish soap. Soda is next to the pickles. And things are in more than one location, which is baffling. I was looking for canned tomatoes: I found a small selection in one area, then a few more in a different area. Same thing with hand soap. Bread items are everywhere. None of it made any sense. Its as though they gave six different people access to the entire inventory and said make a mini store, but you cant talk with any of the other employees.To sum it up: I dont think youll find better quality for your dollar than ALDI. But shopping for it is a nightmare.

Smaller grocery store. Take a quarter for the shopping carts. They have a vegan mozzarella that i bought made quesadillas with and it actually melts. Ill be back ;)

I went to ALDI on 4/8/21 with a terrible experience I had high hopes for the store I would give it zeros stars if google let me. First off the store was un kept there were many things out of place and no one around to fix it. When I went to check out no cashier in sight I waited over 10 minutes and the line grew other customers asking me were the cashier was there was nobody. Then finally 2 managers come out but they don’t look or act like them they didn’t even acknowledge that there were no employees. When I say they didn’t look like managers they had a t-shirt and jeans and the other lady had and old looking hoodie sweater and if this is ALDI’s dress code for managers then should be embarrassed I have seen grocery store managers in other grocery stores who dress way better. Never going back this is an over hyped store ALDI you failed miserably.
