Going to this store will make you angry. Their prices are so far beyond the scope of reason it simply makes more sense to by the items they have available from a big box store brand new. This was made apparent when I noticed a single wrench priced at 10$. If youre looking for a good bargain keep it local and buy from Facebook Marketplace. I gave them two stars only because of their wide selection of items (that are only for the desperate and financially irresponsible.)

Dont go there to sell unless youre juat desperate for money! I give this place 1 star because of the staff and the way they operate! I had an encounter w/ 3 of them and they all 3 were not fair or honest in their dealings! I brought in 2 brand new items, a juicer that I paid $120 for that Id only used once and A sandwich maker that I paid about $25 for that was never used. The black guy boffered me 18, the short white guy offered me $10, then the older blonde headed lady offered me$8. I wasnt looking to hit pay dirt just a fair price. I know they wouldnt sell either of those items for $4, 5 or 9 dollars a piece . Go online and see your item!

I had a bad experience with Trade ItAbout 3 years ago. And I refused to go back in there . Because the manager they had at the time was really ugly to me. Well after that experience me and my family refused to go back in there. But something led me back there today. And I am glad I listen to the voice that told me to go back. Because I had a great experience today. They are under new management. And the new staff was awesome. Thank you Shannon for bringing back a great experience for me while shopping in this store. TRADE IT !!

Do NOT buy anything from here. I was told I can receive a full refund if the item didn’t work. The item didn’t work and when I went to receive a refund, they charged me to return it and I wasn’t able to receive all my money back. This place is a scam.

Personally my opinion is that they should be put out of business. They buy from the public for pennys, and then resell it for as much as they can get. I know its business make a profit, but at least other pawn shop give you an opportunity to get your property back. Trade it just takes. 👎👎

Tl;dr If you are a gamestop pro member go to gamestop.I went into the store and told them I was a GameStop pro member seeing if they could beat GameStops price. I told them last time I came in the person I dealt with beat the pro price who they said was the store manager by my description. While talking they kept saying yes they could be GameStops price thats what they were there for if nothing else they could beat GameStops price and even suggested GameStop wasnt currently accepting trade-ins due to the pandemic in an effort to get me to go ahead and accept their offer. at the end they gave me a lower number than I thought and I asked if they were using the pro price. they said no that they dont beat the pro price they only beat the regular price because not everyone is a pro member. I was upset because I had told them the whole time I was a pro member trying to beat the pro price at GameStop and even their store manager had beat the pro price and that if they cant beat the pro price then they are not beating GameStops price for me and I am better off to go to GameStop. they replied back with their original offer beating the regular price and said they would be open until 6:00 if I wanted to accept the offer. it felt like he thought if he kept his hard line i would break and give in and take his low offer. I feel like they lied to me, wasted my time, and acted like i would give in and accept their low offer. They knew i was a pro member and expected them to beat their pro price with what i told them and them assuring me they could beat gamestops price. If the store manager is the only person there who has the business sense, im going to gamestop from now on.

I havent bought a gaming system since early 2000s and I went in inquiring about different gaming systems. Was promptly greeted by Betsy and she provided a expert level of knowledge when it came to gaming systems, games and all accessories. She even took the time to go clean again the system I was purchasing and made sure I had a great understanding of everything I was getting. Her professionalism, customer service and ability to go above and beyond was far greater than what I expected. Im very grateful and she is a wonderful asset to the company.

I bought a xbox from trade it a few months ago and I had to go back 3 time just to get one that worked. When I recently went to clean the xbox it was dirty and had hatched roach eggs in it. We did not have roaches and I wondered where roaches were coming from. Now that it is clean it now has a red ring where it is supposed to be green. I find it redicouls that I now have a lot games for it and I cant get my money back for the games. I did not get my moneys worth out of it. I will not ever go back and I will not recommend trade it to anyone! This has caused an issue for my 16yr old and I am really angry that he is not able to keep busy now!

Had a good experience here. A man named BJ in customer service helped me get my stuff traded. He was honest and efficient. Great communication and he was working extra hard since he was the only one behind the counter majority of the time. Will be back.

I shop here on a regular basis, and have never had a bad purchase. You never know what youll find, and Ive found some great deals. The staff is always friendly, and willing to help.

This place has gone down hill since they got rid of all the employees that knew what they were doing. The ones in there now have no clue how to run a business. Will not be coming back.

I brought three boxes of numerous items to trade in. BJ was working behind the counter. It was a very tedious process due to all of the stuff I had brought in, but he was extremely patient with me and worked with me on everything. Excellent communication and customer service skills. These people are nothing but a bunch of liars! They They promise the product works & when you find out it doesnt work at all!!! They tell you to bring the receipt in weather it be the regular receipt or your bank account receipt showing you made the purchase there and they would take the product back and you could get a store credit but you do that and now theyre telling you they wont take it will never shop there again!

I go there 3 to 4 times a week, and it feels good because I know that Im Not going to be over charged and they got plenty of stuff to choose from. Sales associate Ms. Kia was incredible when it comes to Games, and helping Me with T.V.s and appliances and Im sure Ill be back for More Great Stuff for Me and My Boys.

I usually experience pretty good service here. Recently I sold an item I did not want anymore. I went inside and stood at the counter for about 10 mins without even being acknowledged at all. A girl comes in after me with a phone and the guy told me he would help me right after her. Thats when I got irritated. I dont know if it was a race thing or what. I dont like jumping to those conclusions but thats what it felt like. I wanted to say something but didnt. I did not even receive the full price of the item that he told me I could get. I wont be selling anything here anymore. This occurred on Friday 10/11/19.

Representatives was awesome. I was on crutches and she met me at door to open and made sure that I was taken care of. Awesome thanks

I think this is a good store. Nice if youre looking for something and arent afraid if its used or not. Ive bought quite a few older games and controllers here. The prices are fairly reasonable as well. The staff are pretty helpful here. Plan to return again in the future!

TWICE I have called before going to ask if they accepted a certain item for purchase...was told yes and upon arriving get told NO they do not buy the item I have for sell. I call first because its a ways for me to drive. Then they offer store credit for my trouble .. no thanks!

Mo has been terrific! She has compassion, love for her brothers and sisters. She gets involved in the plight of mankind. There is no better kind of human being then that! The highest of marks for this good woman!!

So i called this business 2 hours before i took the 40 mile trip out here and asked specifically if they would be interested in my billiards cue and case for pawn . told them the brand and all the info i could so there wouldnt be an issue with them underpricing me due to limited knowledge about pool cues and cases.. he said yes come on out we close at 5ish.. drove all the way out just to get an employee that didnt know what he was looking at and then tried to tell me he couldnt authenticate the cue because he KNEW that ALL upperend cues have a distinct marking that seperates them all individually.. and he was 100% wrong .. most have the makers name on the stick and anyone who knows anything about pool cues knows that. I gave him the meucci archive website and series number mu stick was so he could visually auth. it i even had my receipts from ebay purchase for the items.. and ebay guarantees your purchases or money back.. would have been a little ok with me if he just said he didnt know enough about them but he insisted he knew and should have found what he was looking for only the way he was doing it and made me feel like i was potentially lying.. this place is just another Ghetto pawnshop.and lost business due to moronic staffing.

Smaller Trade It location, nice staff but not enough stuff at this location to go out of your way for. Trade It does a good job of giving you money for your used items, and sometimes they have real gems, good quality gently used equipment, toys and games. You never know what you will find here.

The staff (Terrance Powell) was very helpful on the phone, and was able to answer all of my questions. When I got there he and other staff were very pleasant. It was my first purchase, and the experience was over all great!

The employees are not knowledgeable of their merchandise. Went looking for a radar detector, the kid working didnt even know what it was. We found two different ones. I asked the employee the difference...... his response....i have no idea. I had to Google both items to see which one was best.

Honestly it’s not about the products or anything, it’s the associates that are super friendly to me and I really appreciate it. I come here most of the time and pretty much everyone knows me lol.

High prices,unorganized, and horrible service. We will Never shop there again. When corporate hides their contact info disconnects their phone and their email is sent to an info link you know it is a Seedy business practice. They rather not bother with feed back or complaints. Employees aren’t held to a higher standard and they know it. Just a typical pawn shop with flashy Lettering this goes for all trade it stores. Raleigh was just as bad. The people spoke in wake county and they lost their store.

Went in here a few weeks ago and the employees let a man turn up the music so loud on speakers and leaves him unattended you couldnt hear anything in the store except the music it sounded like it was a club. If I wanted to go to a club I wouldve and they kept it that way for a good ten minutes. We went up to the checkout and the 2 ladys working wouldnt ring a single customer up they just walked around and were vert rude. They had non employees in the back swinging metal door. They dont have air conditioning. We used to love this store now its gone down hill. The may as well shut this one down too I hate to say it but it nothing like it used to be. I am disappointed that this store has come to be this bad.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I bought a PS4 controller from there and bought a warranty with it, we go back with the controller and the employee told me I needed the receipt with it, even though NO ONE told us we needed the receipt when we bought it. Then the two female employees in the store acted condescending towards me like it was MY fault for not knowing about it. Please get better control of your staff and maybe teach them not to have an attitude with their customers and maybe be less incompetent thanks!

I walked into the Trade It location in Goldsboro looking to sell a brand new set of Gas Logs. I had called first to make sure this was an item they would buy and was told as long as they were new they would buy them. Little did I know they wanted me to give them away! There were 3 people ahead of me so I stood off to the side and observed the customer service and read the policies they have posted on the wall. There was NEVER two workers behind the counter at the same time. The customer service was HORRIBLE! The knowledge that the worker had was well below par and down right insulting to say the least. The policies Trade It has posted were broken several times by the unknowledgable worker while working with two gentleman that were ahead if me. The guy in front of me had a large item and the worker acted like he was annoyed the whole time he was helping him. He even went outside and came back in talking junk about the customer im front of me saying there was not enough money in the store to buy the item and he acted like the customers were a burden for him to deal with! The lack of customer service along with the lack of knowledge about items the workers have at this establishment will deter me from ever shopping or stepping foot into this Trade it again! I will also make sure I tell everyone I know not to grace this establishment. I took a brand new set of gas logs in there that were bought for 400 dollars. I knew the product much more than the worker did as he had to google information to see what the logs were worth at Home Depot. When he told me he would give me 15 dollars for a set of brand new gas logs I knew this place was a ripoff and I would not be back! I will also make sure everyone I know hears the story of my expereince at this establishment. Dont waste your time going to Trade It in Goldsboro! Horrible all the way around!!!

Except yesterday i went to take an item back and i had an incident with an older heavyset white guy tony or fred i think is his name! he wears glasses anyway, he got upset cause i didnt want take his offer of 17$ to buy back my surround sound system i paid 40+ for the item and 2year warrenty for it only had it for a month all i wanted was 25 or 30 stor credit to make a down payment on somthing else he got an attitude with me and through the speaker wire and was just plain rude this man does not need to work in costomer service this is the 3rd incident with him being rude he talks down to other people selling things too but all in all me and my wife love this store we go there bout 3 time a week

A lot of things are overpriced small dewalt router price was $79.oo it is $89.00 at Lowes with one year warranty also harbor freight multi tool was $59.00 it is only $29.00 at harbor freight beware of prices if they can pull one over your head they will when it first opened it was pretty great over time it got worse I know tools I have been in construction my whole life
